Lew's Coffee Shop At The Hub in Cardiff

Lew's coffee shop catered for my daughter's birthday party at the hub. From the start, Lew was easy to bounce ideas off and made the process very straightforward for me. The staff on the day were excellent and lovely fresh hot and cold food was brought out in a very timely manner, the staff were very attentive and that meant that food waste was left to an absolute minimum as the catering was so exact to our requirements and food was being produced in real time. They even put together a plate of delicious vegan sandwiches pronto for some friends. Nothing was too much effort. I am deeply grateful from the bottom of my heart to Lew and his team for making my daughter's party such an enjoyable experience for me and my guests and I would not hesitate to recommend to all friends.

Lew's provided catering for our daughter's first birthday in the Llandaff North and Gabalfa hub recently. The food and service provided was excellent and we are very grateful to the team and would highly recommend.

We are regulars as it's just around the corner. It's great. Good choice of sandwiches, toasties, baguettes etc. Great coffee (also lots of soft drinks) Cakes not bad too. Value is AMAZING.

Great affordable food and drinks, a friendly neighbourhood vibe, and right in the hub too. If you're taking thr taff trail its just a short detour.

We visited this morning as a group of staff and pupils from a nearby Specialist Resource Base, excited to have breakfast after choosing books in the library. We were met by patient staff members who provided excellent service to our young people who have a variety of social and communication needs. There was a good choice of affordable breakfast options with toast being the most popular in our group, although several staff membered opted for the bacon baps. There was plenty of available seating and our group of eleven was able to sit together with plenty of room for others in the cafe. As the cafe had a limited number of workers it took a bit of time for our orders to arrive, but everything was brought to the table by friendly staff members. The hot drinks were generous in size with the option to add cream and marshmallows to the delicious hot chocolate a huge hit with one of our learners. The atmosphere was relaxed and toilets, including a disabled toilet, were very close to the seating areas meaning our young people could access them independently. Payment is taken by cash or card. We asked our learners what their favourite things about Lew's Coffee Shop were: "Crispy, juicy bacon" "delicious hot chocolate" "nice soft bread" "yummy yummy buttery buttery toast" "nice apple juice" "good milk" We will definitely be visiting again, maybe to sample things from the lunchtime menu!
