Quiet and very pleasant environment for good food

Food was good, but the pizza could be better. It is however a perfect spot to grab a drink, it has an amazing view. The service was impeccable, Lewis was very nice and did a great job!

staying for an evening and popped up before an event and got lovely service from Rose on the bar!

Beautiful place, friendly waiters, nice view and burgers are very delicious. I took a Big Daddy Burger after the waiter recommended it to me and did not regret.

Lovely service, celebrated our one year anniversary and our amazing waiter Roy made it all the more special. Best seats in the place and amazing view. The celebratory prosecco was incredible!

Service, food and atmosphere all on a brutally low level. Please, stay away from this place unless you have no other option or you are forced to eat here. It's a total joke in every way. All the food is garbage and the prices are way beyond ridiculous! £9.5 for a dessert and £7 for an instant soup with a 2-3 days old dry bread etc. Awful. Stay away, you've been warned.

We came for afternoon tea using our wowcher voucher. Lovely service. I like how they position everyone with a window seat. The sandwiches were a bit dried out, but still delicious and the cakes were amazing. Great value for money.

We enjoyed our food very much. Can recommend the butternut squash, spinach and chickpea curry (mild but tasty) and the chicken gnocchi with mushrooms. We also had an especially delicious side of Hasselback potatoes, and the seasonal greens were tasty, too And many thanks to Kayla for the excellent service.

I would like to thank - Norz, Rohini, Rose, Elka, Abbie and Neil for looking after us yesterday, they were very, very attentive and made us feel very welcome, I am definitely looking forward to going back, thank you

First time at this hotel and restaurant. Excellent customer service. Bar and restaurant staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Food was exceptional, fresh, plentiful and tasty.

I had booked a table for 2 on Tuesday evening 7pm 27th September 2022. Arrived promptly and presented ourselves to the Manager to be seated. He showed my colleague and myself to our table and presented us with a wine list. A young server came to us with a menu each, we ordered wine and perused the menu for food. The server returned stating the wine was not available which is ok and after several other attempts at selecting a wine they did have in stock it was dropped on the table. It had no bucket or chilled sleeve to keep it in good condition or was not even unopened to taste. The Menu There was about 9 items on the menu we were given, we were told there were no Pizza's so we selected from the options left Burgers and sides of chips as they are not included in the description on the menu, we were then told they were part of the option so we struggled with the server that we did not need extra chips. Off she went only to return some 5 minutes later there were no Burgers either and there were vegetarian ones along with other veggie options but only rib eye steak as an alternate which wasn't suitable due to needing to be cooked med to well done to enable the marbling to be edible. Reluctantly we chose to leave and paid for the wine after also being told there was a party of 250 people having a buffet and they took preference because of party size. It also turns out they are so short staffed they had girls working with no experience or training and a new manager who seemed the same. I am in a hospitality industry and I know if I was in this staffing position I would never have taken any bookings with such a large commitment already booked having to use all the existing staff. Total mismanagement and lack of direction. Avoid at all costs

We popped in for a little nibble and a bottle of wine. What we ended up with was a gorgeous sharing platter along with great service from Miryam, Rose & Neil. Miryam particularly was very friendly, warm & professional and we will definitely be back. Definitely worth a visit!

We stayed in the hotel and decided to have dinner in Level 3. Good choice, as it turned out: excellent view, great service (Fran!), great meal!

My bestie very kindly treated me to the bottomless prosecco afternoon tea at Level 3 for my 60th, it was delicious! The service was lovely, the team were very generous and attentive in topping our glasses up and we thoroughly our time there. We had a great view over Piccadilly Gardens and there was a lovely atmosphere. Huge thanks to Abbie in particular who was lovely and made us feel special...keep up the good work!

My uncle and í were traveling in manchester and went to level 3 to dine and we had the best service we had so far in manchester. The food was great. The view was awesome, seeing piccadilly gardens from above was great. our waiter Dimitrios was super Nice and professional. He had great recomendations about the dessert. I would reccomend eating there to my family and freinds and í would a 100 percent go there again next time í visit manchester.

My husband and I had the unlimited Prosecco with Afternoon Tea yesterday. Without a doubt the best things were the quality of the Prosecco, the view of the city centre, the surprise "Happy Anniversary" extra cake platter and the most wonderful member of staff, Rose 🌹She was most attentive, happy, genuine and caring - a people person. She really made our visit a special occasion. She made sure our glasses got topped up! The food itself wasn't outstanding - shop bought cakes, average scones (which is the 'yardstick' in my eyes of a high quality product - ie light and fluffy, rather than heavy and stodgy). The sandwiches were slightly drying out on arrival at the table. But since we had paid £34 rather than £100, and because we were made to feel relaxed and welcome by Rose we didn't complain. The people on Reception were also friendly. Overall it was a very nice experience despite the food quality. Thank you Rose for a lovely afternoon! Dave & Shirley

We booked a table at level 3 as we were staying at the hotel. The service was excellent and the cocktails pleasant. Some of the food unfortunately was barely edible. We decided to eat from the valentines menu. We had the scallops to start. They were cold, rubbery and not seasoned. The purée that accompanied was flavourless. My husband had the beef brisket. It was dry as a bone and he could barely cut through it. I had the salmon. The salmon wasn’t properly cooked. I’m happy eating salmon a little under in the middle but this was uncooked in parts. The parts that were cooked tasted good, nicely seasoned. The purée was so wet, when accompanied with the bisque- which there was too much of- it was way too wet, like a soup. Deserts were just ok, not very flavourful. My son had a pizza- this was actually quite good. We did politely complain about the scallops and were given a complimentary drink. Decided to just live with the rest but to be honest we probably should have refused to pay the food bill. Pretty poor in all, which was a shame as the service and view were great.

We went for afternoon tea and it was lovely but the service was impeccable, a lady called Abbie served us and I’ve never received service like it, she sat us down, checked to see if we was okay, smiled every time she came over to us, explained what sandwiches we had (because we are both vegetarian) and then wished us a lovely rest of the day, honestly 5*** service. (She did this to every customer that she served!!) Thank you so much Abbie you really did make our visit extra special 💕 I will be telling people to try mercure afternoon tea at any chance because it was perfect!

The food was very tasty and well presented, the 90 minute bottomless Prosecco was a great option and they were always ready to top up your glass! Special thanks to Anastasia and Michael who looked after us courteously. Highly recommend will be returning

A nice standard afternoon tea platter with a great view over Piccadilly Gardens in central Manchester. Nice to get out of the hubbub of the city and revive ourselves during a Xmas shopping trip. It was £22.50 for a prosecco afternoon tea which we felt was very good value. Overall the food was nice - if I'm being super picky the bread of the sandwiches was a little on the dry side (like they had been prepared in advance and note covered over), and we only had 1 scone each - usually you get 2 scones at most afternoon teas we have been to. But for the price we can't complain. We were served by Abbie who was super helpful and lovely.

After the great service we had from Alice last night (reviewed on the hotel TripAdvisor page FYI) we came back again today and we were really pleased with the service we had from Olivia. The staff here are great and always go above and beyond, which is the main reason for returning. The only thing I will say though is that the afternoon menu says that the parmesan and truffle fries say vegetarian on the afternoon menu (not the evening menu) but parmesan usually isn't veggie friendly. Besides that, we love it here and will definitely be back 😊 thanks ladies!

Visited LEVEL-3 Bar & Restaurant at the Centre of Manchester with friends on 19th Nov, a very cosy place for comfort food. Window seats with the panoramic view of the Piccadilly Garden. The staff showed us great hospitality, particularly MILLA, she made us feel very comfortable and happy over the dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who would like to have a convenient location to chill out. Food and drink prices are affordable. About £20 per head you can have a drink + a side dish + a main course. This restaurant is inside the Mercure Hotel.

we had afternoon tea for two, which , after some confusion about our wowcher voucher, was very nice. special mention must go to abbie for great service and hospitality, she looked after us very well.
