Les’s Fish Bar in Cheshire West and Chester

Good variety, normally great chips, quick service,all improved over last 2 years, well worth a visit.

The fish, and chips here so good here, love the mushy peas. The milkshakes are great, and the price is bit steep for what it is but overall very nice.

It’s called Al’s place now not les’s fishbar ..Called in today with my mum .. there was only one other table taken but took awhile for a waitress to take our order! The food came I ordered 3 fish strips chips and sweet curry for myself and breaded cod chips n peas for mum .. The meals came on small plates looked like child portions at adult prices! The fish strips were more batter than fish and other than the diet Pepsi tasting like gassy water the food tasted fine .. but then I went to pay afterwards and can’t believe I was charged £15.85 for both meals .. overpriced for portion quantity in my opinion and won’t be eating there again!

It was ok....chips were edible but a lot of bits.I asked for a can of Coke and the waitress came back with it with the ring pull already opened !!! NOOOOOOO This is not good. The customer should always do the ringpull. Can of coke was stood in the glass !!! not hygienic !

Just had chips, gravy and a M&P pie from here and can honestly say I've never eaten worse food. We visited a couple of months ago and I said I wouldn't come back then because the food was awful. The OH didn't hear me when I said don't pick us lunch up from here. So I had to eat it again! Mushy peas didn't taste like anything, the gravy was bland the chips were horrid and the pie wasn't any better than one from the freezer. I believe the only reason this place does well is it's position. Hopefully some improvement can be made for the quality of the food!

went to the fishbar in my wifes dinner break sat for 10 mins and ended up calling one of women to place an order we managed to get a pot of tea but no coffee for my wife and after 20 mins we still hadn't got got our order so we went to the counter to complain and ended up paying £1.05 for a half a pot of tea. We walked out as my wife had to return to work what a total waste of time for us we wont ever be going back there again very poor service

Good place to have lunch if your hungry when shopping in Winsford Town Centre. Les's ish Bar is just around the corner from the "FREE" Town Centre multi-storey car park so a great place to stop if your passing by or shopping. The fis and chips are good too.......!

Often call in for a takeaway lunch love the fish bites can not comment on the restaurant but it always looks busy. Great for kids they do cones of chips.

Me and a friend had the fish dinner here after a game of golf and both of us said it was probably the best we have ever had. Super fresh and super yummy! It's crackers that Foodcraft is rated higher, it is not a patch on Les's.

Excellent fish and chip shop with a very clean and efficiently run restaurant side. The staff are very friendly and the sevice very quick. The food is always hot and tasty. Would have given it 4.5 out of 5 if possible. Will return! Pics to follow.

Food is always hot and freshly cooked. Fish is lightly battered just how it should be, generous portions too. Polite staff. Good for eating in or take away.

This is a lovely fish and chip shop with a small waited cafe on the side. I ordered the fish and chips lunch which comprised cod, chips. mushy peas, a pot of tea, bread and butter. The fish was not over battered and was very fresh. The chips were well cooked, unlike some of the anemic ones I've had from other local fish and chip shops. The ladies working there are always friendly and polite. A really nice tasty lunch for £5.99 all in. What more could you ask?
