Leonardo Hotel Cardiff - Formerly Jurys Inn in Cardiff

I cannot begin to say how grateful I am to the front desk and kitchen staff while staying here during Ramadhan. I was staying at the Clayton the previous week and had made a request for a breakfast go bag so that I could have something to eat before keeping my fast. At the Clayton, it took 3 days of chasing people around to get it sorted. At Leonardo, I only needed to ask once. This meant a lot to me and I can't express how much this helped me during my stay. A big kudos to the team

Perfect central location for all amenities across the centre of Cardiff. Service is excellent and friendly. Check in was seamless, and the room was clean and had all the usual facilities. Not the biggest rooms for the price, but they are decent. I did have a drink in the bar and breakfast which was very good. Really impressed with the standard of breakfast and service in the morning. The staff were really good. Very friendly and helpful. Attentive to detail. They are excellent.

Spacious rooms, centrally located and even had a spare toothbrush!

We our regular guests at Leonardo Cardiff great staff very polite and accommodating unfortunately of late the Restaurant/Bar Menu has changed on Several Times we have stayed and our favourite Dishes No longer on the Menu which is a shame and we have opted to eat elsewhere and the New Menu is not very good choice at all for the price paid we our both Very Disappointed

Our stay at the Leonardo Hotel in Cardiff was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The room was spotless, comfortable, big and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location is perfect, allowing easy access to the city centre and city’s main attractions. Overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and inviting. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend the Leonardo Hotel to anyone visiting Cardiff!

Perfect location right in the centre of Cardiff town! Staff are very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble. Joanna checked us in and she was great very lovely and accommodating, we had our room upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise! Everything about the stay was perfect, bed was unbelievably comfy and best night sleep in a long time. Definitely would stay again and recommend to anyone

Perfect location and the room was comfortable, especially the bed. We stayed for my partners birthday and Joanna kindly upgraded us and made sure we had balloons in the room! A very special weekend made even better by excellent service.

Couldn't fault the service not the best location room was absolutely freezing with the heating on.

Amazing hotel, Very clean rooms and toilets, great bed , shower is Amazing, Smooth check in and check out, The best thing about this hotel: the staff, So accommodating, helpful, polite and proffesional, I lost my wife's ID card and the Amazing desk manager Joanne went out of her way and found it for us, thank you so much you are a lifesaver, The night manager was a superstar, I am so sorry I can't remember his name but he was such a great guy, did everything to make our stay special, gave us free parking for the 1st day, Amazing gentleman, So, the parking in the hotel car park is 25£, and it is valid untill 4pm on the day of your checkout, so you can still leave the car and explore the city.

Staff were so friendly especially the lovely Kiera who booked us in and made my granddaughter feel so special .Room was huge and beds really comfy

First time staying in this hotel Its location in Cardiff Center is next to everything I was surprised by the large size of the rooms compared to hotels I had lived in before The only person at the reception was very kind and helpful. He gave me his personal umbrella because it was raining outside Thank you and it will be my choice on every visit to Cardiff

Such a great location, and rooms are lovely.

The location was great, as was the service. The rooms were terrible, with unbelievably squeaky floorboards, and I woke up numerous times in the middle of the night because of constant loud creaking. It was definitely not at the standard of Leonardo hotels I have previously stayed in, there were no stand-out amenities, cold showers, small bathrooms and terrible room facilities. Lifts were also down throughout our stay. However staff were friendly. Better off going cheaper to a Premier Inn

Lovely comfortable bed and had a good sleep.

The hotel was lovely to begin with but, its the staff that really made you feel at home Maddie was lovely, very helpful and friendly. Hope she gets a raise!

Can't fault the staff as where great but my room was on an end room which was right next to the Function rooms so of course christmas season was very noisy.

Very friendly staff, Maddie on reception was very friendly to talk to, and happy to answer any questions we had, our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast excellent, the location to the train station and city centre was very convenient, thank you all at the hotel.

The plutonium unit is used to remove thallium and gallium, and the plutonium bowl is used to feed the animals. I note that it is full of plutonium, and I like to mention the beer. The "most skin" is said to be a pillow of honor. The plutonium pieces come from Jiyin. Thank you for the treasures left by our ancestors. I understand everything.

Excellent place to stay. Good location, Staff friendly and helpful. Good size, clean rooms, excellent full English breakfast. Can't think of any negatives for this hotel.

Lovely work Christmas party. The food we were served was lacking flavour but was a good crowd pleaser so no complaints. The bar staff were patient and understanding

Hotel well located but the smell of the rooms is disgusting, they smell unbearably musty. very unpleasant. We were offered 8 apartments and they were all the same. Don't forget to take your anti-allergy medication

I stayed at the leonardo hotel in December for a work event. Great staff who were very helpful on arrival, reasonable food too. The room was clean and comfortable, although I didn’t like the shower control but that doesn’t matter. I would happily stay again. Perfect location for Cardiff too.

Had an amazing Christmas work do. The manager i think was Marcus, was so accommodating, could not of asked for a better night, food was lovely, drinks were on demand, would highly recommend, thankyou to all the staff excellent evening 😁

This hotel is so old.. older than your great grand mother!

While the stay was very nice, I am quite upset that the hotel staff could not be bothered to help find a plushy I left behind in my room. I called 12 hours after I checked out and was told that they would look for it. I know for sure that the plushy was left in the room and probably in the bed. It upsets me that even though I indicated that the plushy was emotionally important to me, the staff did not take the time to check the laundry to find the plush. There was not a big delay in me indicating that I forgot the plushy, so cannot understand why the lost item could not be returned to me.

We had travelled from England and planned to stay three nights in a junior suite since the pictures looked lovely online. The room in real life was indeed lovely, however we were so disappointed with the view, or the lack there of. We spoke to a receptionist, who then informed the duty manager: James. We really can't speak highly enough of this man, he handled the situation brilliantly and offered us another room (superior king - which is slightly smaller) with a stunning view as well as discounts on food and drink at the hotel. To top it all off, that same evening, he provided topnotch service, was charming, and nothing seemed too much. We were and still are so impressed with James and his service and this in itself is enough to recommend this hotel!

I stayed here for work. I was greeted by the wonderful Matilda who is exceptional at her job. She is polite and bubbly and a credit to this hotel. Room: My room was lovely, spacious, and very clean. The bed was absolutely amazing and one of the comfiest beds I've slept in. Bathroom; equally as clean, couldn't fault it. Food: Breakfast was really nice, well cooked and not cold. With a good selection of breakfast items. Would I stay again? absolutely 👍🏾

Brilliant hotel for city break, slightly on the expensive side, with the additional £25 a day for parking which wasn't clear online. Rooms were great.

I recently stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Cardiff and had a great stay. The location is superb, right in the city center with easy access to major attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options, but not much fresh fruit. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cardiff!

The king sized bed was two singles pushed together and the mattresses/beds weren’t even the same height. How could they think people would not notice? They let half the hotel out to kids celebrating their prom and let them run wild in the corridors so very little sleep. People spitting and smoking on the front door steps.

Literally the best location in Cardiff, at 10-15 mins (walk) from the Cardiff Central station, the Cardiff castle, the city centre, the Principality stadium etc. Spacious rooms with sufficient storage space. Extremely courteous and amicable staff at the reception and at the restaurants.

2 minute walk from Queen Street station and next to a taxi rank, so good location. The staff are great and very helpful. The rooms are nice and are air conditioned, however all the floor boards are very creaky so you can hear people in the rooms above moving about and walking down the corridor. The rooms also have what I assume is an emergency exit green light in the ceiling light nearest the door that is on when all lights are off, which gives the room a weird lighting effect. There is no way to turn it off, so if you like a dark room bring an eye mask

I have worked here a few times over the years but this weekend I worked here & there was a new events manager Moises and I feel he deserves a good review as he was second to none when it came to professionalism & helpfulness. Thanks Moises, hope to work with you again soon!🙂

Lovely budget hotel with really friendly staff. Stayed overnight for a work event in their conference room the next day. Only gripe with the room was the condition of the floor on the 4th floor - you could hear every step everyone took all night long.

Beautiful building, Fantastic location right in the heart of Cardiff. Friendly helpful staff. Room looks very tired but spacious and clean . Breakfast was delicious. Parking at rear of the building. Very convenient.

Nice and spotless room, we were also upgraded to a bigger room, staff very friendly and helpful. The only thing i could fault was that my partner was woken up by the shower, turning on and off by itself, she absolutely panicked 🤣

I love the services and location, it’s in the centre of the city and the view is lovely!
