Leonardo Hotel and Conference Venue Aberdeen Airport in Aberdeen City

We chose this hotel for our first night in Scotland. It is close to the airport (10 minutes walk) and the car rental companies. The reception was friendly. The rooms were large, the bathroom divided, with the sink in front, then a door, behind it a toilet and shower. The bathroom was already very old. But the beds were comfortable. The breakfast offered a good selection. The atmosphere in the hotel was strange as there seemed to be hardly any guests present. We didn't book it again for the way back.

The customer service was great and very helpful when checking in. Went to the restaurant area and again the service was very good. Even got a shuttle bus to get to the airport so you can leave your car in there carpark at a small cost.

During my stay, I encountered a few issues that affected my comfort. Despite the windows being closed, the wind whistled through them, making it difficult to sleep at night. Additionally, the bathroom faucets were not securely attached and moved in all directions when used. These maintenance issues could benefit from attention to improve the overall guest experience.

Only thing was the heating wasn't very good.

Use this for work great hotel and great service

Lovely staff, let down by very slow service. Had to wait to be served alcohol by someone who I suppose hadn't completed their mandatory 2h Scottish licensing alcohol training, bit poor to have them on the bar prior to their completing this. As soon as they served one person, they were off into the back of the hotel polishing cutlery, doing who knows what, anything but keeping an eye on the bar. Still a better, more comfortable experience than the premier inn, with staff that smile and are pleasant no less.

Apathetic staff at reception unfortunately. I was expecting them to be a bit more enthusiastic with customers. The room was cold and it took a while to heat up as there is a portable heater (no installed radiators). On the plus side, you are near the airport and within walking distance to P&J.

Rooms were okay. My only concern was having to walk a long way from room to reception due to the way the hotel is designed. But generally a nice place to lodge.

Cheap and cheerful. More things to compliment than criticise.

Been to wedding receptions, Christmas parties and never disappoints. Rooms are quiet and comfy. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

A bit pricey for coffee and alcohol

The hotel looks dated on the outside but surprisingly modern inside. Given it's location, the appearance of the hotel is quite trivial. A very large carpark which is £4 for an overnight stay. Rooms are extremely spacious, light & well equipped. A little bit of TLC required but doesn't detract from the overall quality of the room. Very quiet hotel with a good night's sleep given it's practically on the airport runway. Food is very mediocre - think chain pub quality. Found the restaurant menu quite limited. Breakfast choice had everything you needed. The staff are very friendly.

Pleasantly surprised, room was very large and clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful!

2024: Update, breakfast is quite poor, only white bake off baguette as bread, no fresh fruit sallad, only high sugar yougurt (15% sugar) no selection of cut fresh fruit, only water melon. Walls between rooms are paper thin. Could hear my neighbour watching TV the whole night. Had to sleep with earplugs. 2018 :Hamburger in restaurant is made from prefab beef patties. Free wifi

Room was nice sized and clean, not much pressure in the shower, but there was a bath as well. The coffee and tea was well stocked.

Looked clean and tidy. Nice lemon water drink.

Friendly helpful and professional staff. Excellent food.
