Went to get pounded yam and efo. The meat was very tough and the shaki wasn’t even cut, just a massive thing. Also too spicy. :/ ordered before and loved it but not today

The food is delicious and reminds me a lot of home. The spices are original Nigerian spices, the taste is very grounded and the quantity is generous for that amount. I’d recommend over and over again

I have previously ordered from Lekki and a lot of the times I was met with poor food quality or receiving an incorrect order which I used to just let slide. This time I had enough. I am extremely upset once again with the issue of an incorrect order. Ordered Beef Egusi and once I got home I realised I was given mixed meat. I called the restaurant and asked If I could receive the correct order, as I had walked all the way to the shop to order the food and walked all the way back only to be told no they can't correct the order. She said that I ordered mixed meat and the price for just meat Egusi would have been more expensive. I was lucky that when I was at the restaurant I looked at the menu and saw that the £13 I paid was in fact for Beef Egusi. So that was a lie. After going back and fourth on the phone I decided to ask for a refund since I was not going to eat the food and was told that she can't process refunds, and instead she would give me a discount next time I eat there. I declined this offer, as I will never eat there again. I insisted that I wanted my refund and said I would come into the shop. I had to walk for 20 mins only to get there and be told that she confirmed with the lady who packed my food that I did ask for Beef Egusi. Honestly, save your money, time and energy and do not eat here. I ordered food from THE COMPATRIOT and the food was fresh, warm and my meal was correct.

I underestimated this restaurant based on my experiences across Afro restaurants in the Uk. Honestly, I loved it. The Jollof and white rice that my friends ate to the Pounded and efo riro that I consumed😂😂. I give it 💯

Had a party of 25. Waited 3 hours for service. Some people didn't eat. Food was cold and very small portions.

Best Nigerian food place in Nottingham. Their swallows are the best

tastey food but. portion sizes were way too small, customers wont come back if its too small especially for the prices. this was a few months back though. I will order one last time to see if there is any improvement

Fantastic Restaurant, I order from here every week and I have to hide my food from my flat mates. I highly recommend Jollof rice, Ayamase and dodo gizzard, it’s been my diet for the past 2 weeks and it’s been amazing. You can even get a cheeky Fanta to go with your order.

Disgusting food and service. How is burnt food edible? And when the restaurant was informed about this their response was completely unhelpful and just rude. DO NOT EAT THERE . In response to the owner: my review may be harsh but how else do you expect me to respond to your rude customer service. Funny how you’ve deleted your response to my friend now, anyways I’ll leave this. People can see the interaction below which displays your brilliant customer service. Can’t make food and can’t respond to customers properly either what a joke lol.

The food was burnt and this was the second time it’s happened. The portion of ayamase stew they give is so little most of the time I was just eating plain rice. considering I paid £15 the portion of food is very small.

Portions were small unfortunately. Spent a lot of money and the jollof didn't come with any sort of stew, sadly. At this time, small businesses are struggling and that is understood but that doesn't warrant overpricing for small potions to keep afloat when customers want to eat to help. Was really looking forward to this and very disappointed.

Their food is so nice and sweet. I rate 10/10. Is it beef or chicken it was good. And also delivery service was great.

my experience in the restaurant was fabulous. the customer service is great. this place is wonderful. i recommend it for people who has had a long day and want some wonderful food, it is very quiet and peaceful good for family outing, a very clean place. the quality of the food is fabulous. in my opinion this place should be a fine dinning. this restaurant bring me back to home(africa)

this is unarguably the best tasting home food i have ever eating. this makes me feel i am in Africa by the taste of the food. lovely customer service.
