Leif Tearooms and Piano Bar in Warwick

Excellent breakfasts. I've eaten here a few times over the last year and have always had a delicious breakfast. There baguettes are really quite lovely!

I was here for my cousins baby shower that I had arranged and booked. There was so much food and it was lovely. they catered for us so well and were really flexible

Nice breakfast Pretty good service Unfortunately transfixed on the astonishingly huge cobwebs on the chandelier and air con unit and various displays Such a shame that it it doesn’t feel clean Would like to revisit once it’s cleaned but will certainly take a closer look before eating again. Overall nice with obvious reservations.

I had my cousins baby shower here today, the food was not only delicious but there was a lot to go round all 19 of us. One lady that served us in particular was very polite, helpful and friendly. Sorry I didn't get her name but she was a red hair lady. Thanks for helping make it so special

We have been happy regulars for years but sadly had an unusually bad experience. No mint sauce was a bad start to the lunch to then finding parts of the meat unedible/rotten, resulting in them having to be spat in an undignified fashion in to a serviette, ruining the remainder of the lunch. We informed the manager on leaving who got confrontational, saying I'd consumed 70% of the lunch as opposed to being concerned about serving rotten meat. This was of course 'in my opinion' he stated. So, in his view only half the fee of of one lunch was due a refund. A simple apology and refund for the meal would have been acceptable and we would return but there was no excuse for his rudeness. Every pub can have a bad day with some issues. There was 5 of us with no other complaints, who had multiple drinks and generally happy with the meals. We also didn't comment on the men's toilets which had a drainage problem and smelled heavily of urine. Very sad as we've had mainly good experiences. We won't be returning.

Waited over an hour for our food, decided to leave after two tables that came in after us had their food and we were still waiting, still got charged for our drinks! Terrible service, will not be returning!

Fantastic place to eat and drink, the breakfasts are out of this world. Beautiful cakes available too. Nice and clean with a friendly atmosphere. Plus came back in the evening and it had transformed into a lovely bar experience. Will definitely go back

I came for lunch here with my boyfriend and we got the veggie sharer. So so so recommend!! Probably the best lunch I've ever had out. We loved everything other than the mango parcels (there was loads of other stuff to eat too though). For about £10 each we were full by the time we'd finished it. The staff were lovely and friendly. You can bring your dogs here too! Nice and clean bathroom. Fast service. Come and get the veggie sharer!!

I chose the Leif for afternoon tea last night due to its good reviews, reasonable prices and proximity to Le Keux Salon, where I'd had a pampering session to celebrate my birthday. As a bonus, you can book online using an automated system which was pretty useful for me given my last-minute decision! I arrived around 15 minutes early but they had no issues seating me; it was in the back of the restaurant which has lots of lovely natural light. The decor is pretty and fresh; astroturf on the wall with lanterns, wooden trays and furniture, and a jade-green colour scheme. With my afternoon tea I selected a pot of English breakfast tea (which amounts to three cups), and two flavours of sandwich - salmon and cream cheese, and tuna and cucumber. Accompanying these are a cake (chef's choice), chopped strawberries, and a fruit scone with cream and jam. The savoury alone is quite filling - admittedly I always end up taking some food home with me on afternoon tea excursions, but you have two full sandwiches cut into four 'triangles'. On the 'dessert side', the scone is of a decent size, and the cake (orange drizzle and lavender, I think) is humongous! Not so much a slice as a doorstep! I asked the staff kindly to box up the cake for me as I'd got quite full from the other things - but I tried a small piece tonight (it survived the train trip home) and it's truly delicious. At £20 for one person, you do get your money's worth. The staff were friendly and courteous without being overbearing. The restaurant is quite packed when busy; not a lot of space to move between tables but everything was kept clean (including the loos) and there's a very chilled vibe which I liked. Sadly no piano playing while I visited, but according to other reviews they do have live piano music on occasion (def. my thing) and there's some sport on the bar tellies (not my thing, but might be yours). If I come to Leamington Spa again - likely, given the great day I had - I'd happily visit The Leif again.

Visited for breakfast with two friends. I have read some of the reviews on here regarding having pushchairs/children and I can honestly say we had a lovely time. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating for my toddler, plenty of room if you have a pushchair and high chairs available. Staff and service fantastic and food and drinks delicious. We’ll definitely come again x

We have been visiting regularly for a few years, mainly for lunch and prosecco or tea and cake. There are lots of cafes in Leamington but we find ourselves always choosing Leif as we can always manage to get comfy sofa chairs and the food/drink is good value for money. Tonight we tried the Quiz night and thoroughly enjoyed it (despite coming last!) We were looked after by Osborne who was brilliant - polite, friendly and attentive. We received fantastic customer service from him! Thank you :)

My husband and I popped in for cocktails early evening and were really impressed with the quality of them. Absolutely delicious. Nice atmosphere too.

Incredible visit, super welcoming staff, you arrive to smiles and the feeling that the team genuinely want you to have a great experience and visit. We both had a breakfast which was fabulous with excellent produce and presented perfectly.

We booked in for afternoon tea just 4 ladies and got joined by 4 more family the team were amazing and accomadatied us the afternoon teas and roast dinner and chicken burgers fantastic cake and scones can't thank the staff enough for what they done definitely recommended for afternoon tea and roast dinner 😊😊😊😊

Terrible service. Clearly they have a staff problem, had to wait over 40 minutes for a drink and that only arrived when prompted for our drinks. Over one and a quarter hour wait for 3 salads, and they did not even know what we had ordered when I asked for the bill. Salad was good but not worth the wait.

Arrived on time then left at the sign in station for our pre-booked table to be ready.The menu has been reduced from pre lock down offerings but we made a choice then waited half an hour for the arrival of our food. Both dishes contained bacon which was dried out presumably from being kept warm. Many offerings contain bacon which is pre-cooked. Ironically I suspect this is for speed. We should have sent it back but could not wait another half hour. Disapointed with what used to be a lovely experience which has been marred by a lack of people skills from the supervisor which has filtered down to some of the staff.

I booked a table 1 month in advance knowing that availability would be limited, due to COVID-19 restrictions, for my sister's special birthday and requested a nice table to mark the occasion. We arrived on time for our reservation and had to wait for a substantial time to be seen. When we eventually addressed, the waitress told us we had no reservation. I queried this and she bluntly informed me that no tables were available. She did not apologise for this mistake they had made and made no attempy to rectify it, having already ruined our evening. Very disappointed. Indeed.

We phoned to book a sofa for 4 people on Fri 30th Oct, when we arrived there wasn’t a sofa available immediately so we waited for someone to leave. We were then seated and enjoyed a couple of drinks. We have visited Leif on many occasions before and have fully enjoyed the experience, however this trip was an exception! As we were sat chatting and drinking I noticed one of the waitresses pointing at us and talking to another member of staff, the waitress then without a word walked over to our table, leant over my friend (no social distancing there!!) picked up the reserved sign and put it back down, went back continued to point at us and then the male Staff member walked over and called over there’s no time on it (still nothing being said to us) she then came over again and called to him it says 630!! We were made to feel totally uncomfortable, the waitress then said this table is reserved you only had it for 2 hrs, we explained we were not told this upon booking and we wouldn’t have just ordered another round had we of known, the waitress was very rude and unapologetic, no customer service skills whatsoever. We asked to speak to a manager and were told there was no one on site. Another waitress (who was lovely) then came over to apologise and all the time we were still getting glares from the rude one!! Not the best experience very disappointing ☹️

Very safe place to visit during Covid 19 Used to live near here for a number of years and it’s great to come back to the area and visit for breakfast as very good service, great food and positive visit.Definitely well worth a visit

Visted in the day and Excellent good value lunch. Really impressed again, friendly staff and a good amount of choice on the menu. Really lovely coffee and a nice cafe atmosphere. Friends visiting were very impressed and thought it was good value!

Disappointed. Despite booking a request including one gluten free afternoon tea they were unable to offer this on our visit, no gluten free cakes either. Very slow service, an hour between tea arriving and food arriving. No interest shown in customer satisfaction. Will definitely go elsewhere next time.

We ordered the falafel and humous on ciabatta with a portion of chunky chips on the side. We were after a small lunch so shared the food and it was more than enough. The environment had a really nice vibe, friendly staff and good music in the background.

So we have been a few times because we do enjoy the atmosphere, but last visit was not pleasant at all.One member of staff was so rude, i asked her to make our cappuccino hot as its always not hot enough and her answer was ...well i can't burn the milk for you, we were shocked at her remark and coffee machines do not burn milk. She looked at us if we had asked something that was out of the ordinary .I asked for a dessert also which came so late that we had nearly finished our coffee and thought that they had forgotten our order.We will not be going back we have 2 incident with the same girl who is tall and wears all black. So best avoid her to take your order or serve you.My husband had been a Food and Beverage Manager for over 40 years and he hasn't come across anyone saying the milk will burn.. a ridiculous comment .

Really bad. Disgusting behaviour from the manager. Not helpful at all. Rude staff. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Sandwiches were average. No scones left.

This recently opened ‘tearoom’ is a great amenity to this part of Warwick. I’ve visited it often for breakfast, coffee or cocktails and always found the staff friendly and obliging. But today when I asked if the over-loud music could be turned down our waitress clearly was annoyed. This was even more obvious when, as we stood up to get to leave we hadn’t even put our coats on before she turned the music back on.Now I understand that young people enjoy their music, but there will be a fair portion of older folks like use who don’t want to have to shout at each other to be heard. So...how about a compromise, and have one area where the speakers are off; a quiet area. If that cannot be organised then a request to turn the music down a bit should not be met with a sulky face.Apart from that the decor is lovely, the food tasty and not overpriced.

Always been a firm favourite for lunch when we visit Leamington, fantastic atmosphere, great food and a slightly out of tune piano , what more could you ask!However, during our visit yesterday we did witness a slide in service from previous visits.Having to ask twice when our cappuccino would arrive after waiting twenty minutes is way below previous standards?Would we return, absolutely.

Avoid avoid, bar staff happy to serve drinks at 00:50 for the door staff to tell you have to leave ten minutes later. No last orders called at all and then the door staff start swearing at you and blame you. The bar staff who have just served a round of drink then blame the customer’s they have served and ask you to leave. One member of door staff had no ID as they are required to display. Happy to take your money all evening and treat you like criminals. DO NOT GO THERE.

Stumbled upon this gorgeous bar/cafe. Really relaxed atmosphere and fabulous cocktails. Shame we live so far away.

We booked a table for 7 of us at lunch time, which was needed as Leif is always quite busy. Staff were a little bit hit and miss in places. When we were first seated three waitresses came over in succession to see if we were ready to order despite us telling them each time we were still waiting for two of the group. Later, there was a few things that they forgot to bring to the table and then no one came back when it came to paying. Staff are all reasonably young so can maybe be a bit hit and miss. Food is great though and there is a good selection whether you want a bigger meal or just a cream tea. Several of us in the group had the cream teas, which were lovely and the tea selection was also quite good. Others had the sandwiches, which had good portion sizes and looked delicious. All in all a nice place to meet over lunch time.

Popped in for an early lunch and were quickly seated and our orders taken. Not a great deal of choice on the menu, but the sandwiches/panninis we ordered were generous in portion size and very tasty. The pianist began playing just after we sat down and was quite loud which made chatting hard as you had to shout to one another - hence the rating of very good instead of excellent. He was a talented musician though!

What do you do when one of you fancies a drink and the other a cuppa.... head to Leif tea rooms.Popped in mid afternoon when the other half fancied a pint and I wanted a cup of tea -choice is fab, and I'd recommend the Mango tea, was lush,.Had a slice of Blackberry and lemon cake which was lovely.Actually headed back later that night to find the place a bit more lively with some good tunes.

I visited here with a friend for lunch. Some of my friends have been and recommended it so I thought I would give it a try. The decor was ok, not quite as fancy as it had made out to be. The toilets were very disappointing (not the cleanest and one of the toilets rocked when I sat on it) The menu was good, with a variety of dishes to choose from. Really happy with my choice, the prawn and avacado salad. Plenty of prawns which was good as from previous experiences elsewhere you only receive a handful. The service was good but after a while it got a little annoying how often our table was visited. As soon as a drink was finished the cup was taken away. On several occasions the waitresses attempted to take our sweet potato fries away which we hadn't finished eating. I understand that dishes need to be cleared away but it would have been nice not to have been 'pounced on' as soon as a drink or meal was finished. I would return but in the hope that the waitresses wouldn't attempt to clean up quite so often. After a while it felt as though myself and my friend were in the way and we should just leave.

If you have a pram you will not be allowed to sit in the main seating area. Seems pretty unreasonable. Some of the tables allow plenty of room but we were given a lame excuse.Our cake was served on top of the tissue which stuck to the buttercream! So not only did we have to pick green tissue off our cake but we then didn't have any tissues to clean up the mess. We also had to chase our cakes as the lady had forgotten them - it would have made more sense for her to bring our drinks and cakes at the same time.Service was poor. Both occasions we have been here the staff were very young, inexperienced and moody. When I paid at the till I was ignored for 10 minutes whilst two members of staff sorted an afternoon tea order. One of the staff was just watching the other load the tiered plates! We gave this place a second shot but both times we've been disappointed. Real shame as it could be lovely. We have now given up and will be going elsewhere.

Really liked this place, it had a good vibe to it, kinda busyish but relaxed at the same time. The staff were very attentive, the coffee smooth and the chocolate croissant was spot on! When I'm back in Leamington I'll be calling in again.

We popped in for pre-dinner drinks. Busy, but not crowded. Staff efficient, service quick and a nice selection of cocktails too!

Having researched best afternoon tea this place popped up so off we went. We arrived and had the dismissive looks from a lot waitress who told us to go find a seat, eventually we were served and really good afternoon tea, sandwiches fresh and plenty of cakes and cream.Down side? The place was doesn’t know what it is. We had kids running around with un attending parents, wine bar drinkers and restaurant eaters. The decor is tired and dusty and should really decide to specialise in one area instead of trying to be several different places, one to avoid unless all the other tea rooms full.

Breakfast in Leamington is so easy, almost every other shop is a eating establishment. Some good some bad and you even have the indifferent. I have been to the Leif cafe for breakfast 3 times in the last month. On each occasion I have had the Leif full English breakfast, you may think Full English anyone and his mum can do this , but you would be wrong! You only have to shop around in Leamington to see the veritable quality in this small town. However the Leif cafe falls into the good category food is of a high standard and they haven't skimped on the ingredients of a Full English. The outside of the cafe looks like a pub but the interior decor makes you feel at home, the staff are quick to take and deliver your order. From a personal and selfish point of view I hope not to many people find this little gem as I love the atmosphere, however this is a cafe that deserves to do well.

As a group of 6 on a Saturday evening we were looking for something a little livelier, especially as it’s billed as a piano bar. However the music was quiet and relaxed and killed our mood a little.

We came here via a recommendation for Sunday lunch, we pre-booked had great table - Roast diviner was excellent £9.95 each - thoroughly enjoyed and pianist playing whilst we ate - thank you

Ive been in a few times, and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. One occasion we had food and it was amazing and the other times when ive been with my girl friends for cocktails they have w tasted beautiful . Wil be returning many times

Leif is a pleasure to visit and is one of those unusual places that can cater for a variety of needs. You can have a cocktail, sandwiches, delicious cake or a meal or just sit endlessly with a cup of tea or a glass of wine and watch the world pass by the window. A great place to meet with friends.

Great breakfast and lunch here a good choice for everyone. Family and dog friendly Friendly staff and a very attentive manager. Always clean and tidy

Tea and cake at 11 am were good. However, the casual seats near the door were incredibly uncomfortable. A hard piece of wood just under the seat that no cushion could soften. I'd use the restaurant again on the dining chairs but couldn't endure that discomfort again. Tried 2 seats and both painful.

Family of 4 with an 18 month year old girl. We ordered 4 afternoon teas with a kids meal (cheeseburger and chips).

Really disappointed with my trip to Leif. Been several times and theres been no problems, normally quite slow service but nice food. Went for lunch with my mom today and nobody came over to take our order, we had to go and find a member of staff. Then we waited over 45 mins for our food (we only had 2 simple mains - a salad and burger). They bought my moms out first then had to wait another 10 minutes for mine. We told them how unhappy we were with the awful service and they responded with awful attitudes - a female waitress and a female manager. I would never approach an unhappy customer with such a bad attitude. When the food finally arrived the chicke was lovely but the chips were dripping in grease!! Definitely won't be returning to Leif again, which is a shame as it was one of my favourite independent spots in Leamington. Would not recommend!!!

Went with family for breakfast, have to say it was lovely, great atmosphere, service and really tasty food. Could not fault it, shall definitely go back.

We go to Leif usually once a week- we nearly always pick the "wraps" which are always superb -especially the falafel and prawn and avocado with sweet chilli ones.

Just by chance we called in for a coffee and ended up staying for lunch. Beautiful Tearoom and Piano bar, light and sunny in the rear and cosy with big sofas in the front. Food was gorgeous and very well presented, nothing was too much trouble. Menu was very good, lots of choice. Waitresses were very friendly and helpful. We will certainly be back . Thankyou

Just by chance popped in here for a meal to discover it was quiz night. Great food service and atmosphere all helped by great lovely people.

I come here quite lot, especially on a Sunday after a night of partying. The English breakfasts are sooo good and for a reasonable price you get exactly what you need. That and a nice big pot of fresh loose leaf Earl Grey tea. Sorts me right out :)

Popped in for a coffee, great greeting and super service, liked it so much went back at lunchtime and had a great meal, very fresh and good service again, popular place, so you may need to book.

Called in for couple of beers, ordered meat sharing platter, totally excellent, definitely would recommend it. Very dog friendly. Lovely music. Perfect.

Having been to Leif several times decided to choose it for my son’s 30th birthday party. I found the staff friendly and helpful when making initial enquires and choosing food menu and explaining how the evening would run.

Quirky decor, great ambience and attentive staff. Menu had lots of choices although we just had Prosecco, hot chocolate and cake as we were eating later. The cakes were large portions and really moist with lovely flavours. The hot chocolate was very pleasant - plenty of cream and marshmallows and not too rich. Noticed they allow dogs in too. Would certainly return and sample the menu properly.

Came here for Sunday lunch. Place was busy, but not crowded. Good atmosphere with the pianist not overly loud. Good song choices.

Visited with my wife for a couple of hours between 11 and 1. Had brunch and a drink which was reasonably priced. Staff were excellent, food was quick and very tasty. Not expensive and highly recommended. Lovely decor and comfortable seating.

This is different to anything else in Leamington Spa. Te menu is great- varied enough for everyone but also not too extensive that you wonder if things are freshly prepared or not. I personally love the salads and burgers (these are great value). I tend to visit at the weekends and it’s always rammed. A true reflection of its popularity. The manager is often around and involved to support staff on these busy days- commendable. All the staff members are great, especially a girl called Olivia who I’m often served by- I asked her name the other week because I thought she is so friendly and helpful she deserves a mention. I hope I’ve remembered the right name! All staff are helpful and approachable which is a bonus!

I’ve been here twice. Once for a night out when they had a live band on, and secondly for an afternoon coffee with friends. Both times were lovely! The atmosphere is good and there’s plenty of seating. The staff are quick and friendly. Prices are standard. I’ll be going back to try the menu next.

Having arrived at Leaminton early pm we wanted something to eat , so came across this place , it looked busy , a good sign , so we went in .At the top end there was someone playing the piano , nice touch , we ordered our meals , the portions were big filled us up greatly , didn't eat till very late on that night , but only something small . The place inside again very clean , staff pleasant , it is also a bar at night , and do good cocktails , also a range of beers , would go back , enjoyed our time in there

Its not often that my food disappears before I have taken a photo but the 3 course Christmas menu at Leif is very tasty.

Quite fancied Tapas but unfortunately it wasn't available due to being quite busy, this was 3pm on a Saturday. I have been before and had tapas hence why a bit gutted.

We had a marvellous Sunday Lunch here recently. The wait was a little too long for my grandchildren’s hungry tummies but fortunately a very kind waitress knew exactly how to approach my two grandchildren and kept them entertained whilst our scrummy lunch was being prepared. After all, we were made aware of the delay before dining so our decision entirely.

My sister and I had a perfect afternoon here, fabulous atmosphere, piano playing was wonderful, very talented pianists, went down very well with yummy sandwiches scones and cream and jam, plus lashings of coffee and tea. Delicious, with great friendly service. Defo be back soon, loved it.

A well thought out menu with loads of choice. All of the items are well priced and freshly cooked.Gluten bread available.

Went with a group of friends and booked for 4pm. Had to find someone to take our order. 1 of our group was gluten free and asked if gravy with roast was gluten free. It was only when our meals were brought out that the waitress told her it wasn't would she like to order something else. So then she was the only person waiting for food. When we had finished main course plates were eventually cleared. After some wait we had to again find someone to ask about desert only to be told they had finished serving at 5pm. They said we could have cake but that was all there was. No one made us aware that there was a 5pm deadline. We complained and the manager was very disinterested. Did offer cake or reduced bill. We took the reduction. Needless to say we will not return.

Suffering from menu fatigue, my partner & I decided to give Leif a try for the first time for Saturday lunch in town. We both ordered Prawn & Avocado salad & a glass of wine. The wine was ok, but the salads were pretty grim; tasteless prawns & overripe avocado covered in an unpleasantly sweet & sticky chilli sauce. The waiter who took our order was perfectly nice & friendly & up to that point, the food notwithstanding, it wasn’t that bad an experience. However, the waitress who took our order for coffees & took our payment seriously needs some instruction in customer-facing behaviour; quite apart from being publicly & overbearingly bossy towards one of her colleagues, she was one hostile little madam towards paying customers. I don’t appreciate being treated as a nuisance when I’m paying for goods & services. First & last time at Leif.

Afternoon tea, bread to sandwiches, was stale, obviously made earlier in the day and left uncovered.

We pop in occasionally for a drink but decided on this occasion to have something light to eat , brilliant service as always food recommended , Kieran who served us was more than polite aswell as the other staff present . Will return soon to try more of the menu

The colleague that served us was exceptional not thing was too much trouble would definitely recommend this establishment to my family and friends

We visit Leif regularly as we feel they do the best breakfast in town. They also do excellent sandwiches, salads, afternoon tea and have a very good tea selection. However, we would like to post a review for a Thursday evening. Leif hosts a quiz every Thursday evening from 8pm and the kitchen is open until 9pm with tapas and burgers on offer.

I’ve been here a couple of times for tapas which have always been nice, so I decided to take our extended family. I have to say I was so disappointed. I had the prawn and avocado salad which sounded amazing but was totally vile! I went without. It was honestly the most pathetic attempt at a salad I’ve ever seen! The roasts were okay but over cooked and the service wasn’t bad. Husbands burger was nice though !I’d never eat here again. The toilets were a disgrace and smelt appalling too. A real shame !

We arrived in leamington spa on a wet morning .we needed food!.i have always wanted to try here. The breakfast was lovely good quality sausage nice bacon all cooked to perfection. We also had a macciatto which was nice. I would go again maybe for tapas.most nights entertainment is on music quizzes etc .

I came in here for lunch with my parents. We hadn't heard of this place before but my mum had been given vouchers for her birthday. When we walked in we were amazed with the space as you went further in. The live piano player was a really nice touch. We also absolutely loved the music choice after the piano player had finished. The feel of the place was really nice with an outside feel to it. We ordered the tapas which we really could not fault. Great sized portions for such reasonable prices.

Really good food, great value for money and good entertainment. Abbie was very helpful. Would recommend the chicken bacon and brie burger and sticky toffee pudding!

We went yesterday for breakfast and we were not impressed with the service at all. Nobody receive you when you walk in or help you to get a table. No one said good morning either. The waitress has a massive lack of basic manners and needs to listen a bit more what people is ordering and also if someone order a drink with no ice for a 3 years old toddler please don't bring it into a big glass with a lot of ice! Brakfast was also cold when served. We won't back again.

I visited here with my mum and daughter after a recommendation it was baby friendly. The whole experience was really disappointing. Firstly prams are only allowed in the small section at the front. We got our own menus and placed our order at the cash desk. The rest of the service was non existent really. Our food came but we needed to ask several times for our cutlery and drinks and even then I wasn’t able to have a coffee as the machine was being cleaned. Just little things like salt, pepper and sugar being cleaned while we ate. Food was mediocre too if I’m honest. Such a shame and there are so many places to eat in Leamington I’d skip this one in future and head over the road to the Fat birds cafe which has excellent staff and food.

I took my mother for an afternoon tea as a treat for her recent ninetieth birthday hoping for a little "wow factor" like the pictures appear to show. Unfortunately our experience was not up to our expectations! Once shown to our table we had to compete in our conversations with my slightly deaf mother against the pianist playing far too loud! Admittedly we were seated in the piano bar but every table had people eating rather than enjoying the music. This annoyance might have been acceptable if we didn't have to wait nearly 45 minutes for our sandwiches to appear. This delay could not have been caused by the scones & cakes as these were just collected from cake displays & placed on a cake stand. I must admit by this stage my mother was ready to get up & leave but was persuaded to stay. The food was acceptable (perhaps a little too much mustard on the ham for my mother's taste) but the whole "magical experience" I had hoped to give her never materialized & truthfully couldn't wait to finish our food & leave.

Doesn't look much from the outside, but light and airy inside with an open outside seating area at the rear. friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Called in with my daughter for food, staff were polite and welcoming. My daughter chose the blt and I chose 3 tapas dishes. The food was delicious and I have to say the tapas was possibly the best I’ve eaten. The staff were so attentive and friendly, the restaurant very clean and the food of the highest standard. My son joined us for a drink so our meals and drinks, which were 2 sparkling waters, a pornstar martini and 2 raspberry mules came to £40.

we went to leif with some friends that had come from out of town, on arrival we looked for seats, because there was 13 of us there was nothing available as it was busy. The staff came over and were so accommodating, they moved tables and chairs to assure we could all sit down... excellent staff who were so helpful. we enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with excellent service. Will definitely be going back again. Our friends said what a lovely place it was.

Booked a meal here recently on a Jazz night. The Leif bar had a really nice atmosphere and the Jazz was great. A variety of food was chosen between everyone and all received really well.

Had a lovely tapas, 3 for £10, but they took an incredibly long time to arrive. Great live piano music whilst dining. The toilets are a disgrace and really need to be updated and maintained

After a Sunday morning gym session we ventured in Leamington in search of a gluten free breakfast. We have been to Leif before, but this was some time ago, so we opted to see if it was still as good as we remember.

Took my family out for brunch. Wellcoming staff, clean, fresh atmosphere. Nice and quiet. We loved our brunch, as especially there flat white coffee. Will go again. Reasonably priced!

We chose this venue as the menu looked good, was reasonably priced and there was a singer at the piano bar. We thought that would add a lovely atmosphere.

Regular here for an excellent breakfast. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Well done Gursh and the team.

Went with the family for lunch Had Tapas starters followed by Roast Beef with all the trimmings. And chocolate cookie Cannot fault lovely beef Everyone came out feeling really satisfied Friendly and knowledgeable staff On my menu for next year

My five year old granddaughter had a full English (seriously) and it was very good. I had a bacon sandwich and it was pretty good too! Flat White was a bit disappointing, not as hot or strong as it should be but all in all it was highly satisfactory and will visit again. It's not the nicest decor and there were a lot of Mums with kids but it was okay and not noisy or anything.

Late lunch Friday escaping from cold and Xmas shopping, a number of people in there and nicely decorated. Had a lovely burger and nice pint of Estrella, nicely kept. Food was well priced and arrived promptly and was just what I needed. Good value and tasty

Visited yesterday and booked for 5 for afternoon tea. Very friendly welcome and a nice atmosphere. Plenty of sandwiches and cakes to go around and some left over, which was boxed and we could take home. Can highly recommend this place and will be back to visit again. Excellent proper leaf tea and nice bubbles as well x thank you.

Time to turn our back on the big corporations and use a local cafe that actually pay its taxes. So much better than Starbucks and Costa.

In Leamington Spa for the Model boat show. And was staying in the Lansdowne Hotel.

We dropped in for an unplanned lunchtime snack and were really impressed with the tapas here. The at mosphere is relaxed, with piano music playing on the background and we sat in the easy chairs at the front of the bar. We ordered patatas bravas with grilled ciabatta, chilli and garlic prawns, crab cakes and tandoori chicken and were really impressed with the quality. If you want a relaxed lunch, this is a great place to go.

Sunday Lunch here represents really wholesome good food, excellent service, great value for money with a charming ambience. I have been here several times and never been disappointed and will definitely be going back. It is best to book a table to be sure that you can be seated when you arrive as it is always busy at the most popular times. Also they provide a nice 'touch' with the pianist playing in the background which is not at all invasive on your conversation. For those who would prefer to watch the TV that is provided in the front lounge area.
