This fish & chip takeway has gone now, having been superceded by "Oh My Cod" restaurant and takeway. Deep Blue was comparitively expensive for mediocre fish & chips that always had an odd, cloying smell, either from old, or maybe burnt, oil. Not sure which, but it was unpleasant. Also, they stopped selling pea fritters some time ago, which were a fovourite with the locals. If you don't listen to your customers, they vote with their feet. All in all, not surprising Deep Blue failed in Godalming.
