Subway in Waverley

Almost had to scream at the guy for a normal portion of vegetables. Being tight is a compliment for the sweetcorn counting franchise. Such a shame as the food was good.

Honestly, I don't have anything against the workers In this restaurant. They're perfectly polite and accommodating of requests in person. However I have recently ordered from them and waited nearly two hours for food. Likey just eats fault. Which is why I am not being harsh. However like another review has mentioned. I have noticed that some of the amounts put into the subs when it comes to meat seem wrong and too little. Just things to consider before you order.

First time I was told the promotion in the shop window is not available. Today 20.06.24 ordered a footlong to take advantage of the 50% deal and go to pay and informed, no you cant use that today due to an alleged system issue. Look at other reviews who state this has occurred to them. Crooked management out to swindle us by charging full price for items even though discounted deals advertised on the window. I asked if it could be reduced manually and was told no, so I said well I will leave it then, and said one last time you would rather chuck this in the bin than sell it for the promotional price, and she said yes! awful service, awful staff, awful store. Shame on Subway Farnham. Avoid this franchised store, unless you like being scammed.

If you can order a subway from another store. Do. Don't do deliveries and order from here else you'll get food with additional stuff you didn't want and drinks and snacks that are wrong .

Meal deal advertised as £3.99 on poster in window was listed as £8.88 inside. Definitely won't go again.

The place looks unclean I went to order and was looking at the state of the place glass where food is kept is unclean services are unclean absolutely horrified I used to work in a subway and it was kept clean neat and tidy

I went into this Subway to order a turkey sandwich. An Asian male employee asked me for my order, and then he asked a female employee to make it while two men stood nearby. The female employee put 5 slices of meat on my sandwich. As someone who knows a Subway franchise owner, I know that this is not the correct amount. When I asked the Asian male about it, he told me, "everything has changed now." This was around the time the Subway series had launched, and I had taken a course on it, so I knew that the amount hadn't changed. It was actually meant to offer a faster service. When I told him I wanted to take a photo, he then asked the girl to add one more slice. However, I managed to take the photo beforehand. I was then charged for asking for a little more lettuce, and that's when I decided to cancel the order and leave. To anyone reading this, I can almost guarantee that they are doing this to most people as a cost-cutting measure. Most customers are not aware that there is a specific count/weight amount that all Subway franchise owners must follow. I can assure you that this store is not doing so. I filed a complaint with the main Subway office but did not receive any response. Be cautious when using this store. The one slightly further out near the service station is a much more honest Subway compared to this one.

Terrible experience! Rude staff, food not heated properly and very dry old subs which rather than feeling like a pleasant dining experience, felt more like being pinned down and force fed sawdust or something similar. Very disappointed :(

Zero experience , no ingredients , no idea why open !

This is the best Subway i’ve ever been.

Fast service and great tasting food, definitely looks more like the adverts than a MCs or BK 🤣 pretty quiet and dark though.

Shocking service, our server had just made meatball subs for the customer before. We ordered 2 vegetarian subs and the server did not change his gloves so the meat and sauce was transfered onto the bread we ordered. When we pointed this out we were met with attitude.

This Subway just smells amazing! Everytime I walk past this place, it just lures me in. The food is great and they have reasonable pricing as well. Although there are some downsides to this place. The seating capacity and the size of the restaurant wasn't designed for many by the looks of it which leads me to believe I should start taking out more. Other than that this is a decent place. 👍

This subway always seems to be cold in the winter and boiling hot in the summer. Other than that it's a decent place to eat

Subway is a great place to grab a quick sandwich with what ever you want in it. Service was a bit slow and awkward.

When for a brunch this morning notice all the small packets of sugar has some sort of animal bites on it….ask for a cup of coffee caught them filling hotwater from a tap in the cup and put them in the microwave before serving them…this place is danger to your hearth and must be avoid at all cost

Absolutely filthy. Old pens thrown into display of cookies. Filthy tables - all of them. Food served almost cold. Slow service. Avoid this one.

Avoid - myself and my boyfriend were ill soon after eating their food. We got in contact with the restaurant to let them know and they never got back in contact with us

Terrible service, Asked for double meat on a Italian BMT Footlong and would not put double the amount of ham, pepperoni and salami on it. Was told that the manager has told them that they’re not allowed to put the full double amount on it, which for me is not double meat then. No other subway that I go to in any other town does it this way.

Placed a order on Just Eat - didn't receive, tried calling the shop several times and they didn't answer.

Tasty sandwiches, resonable prices, lots of space to eat, good service.

I visited the restaurant today and bought takeout. I asked the cashier for two white chocolate chip cookies. None of the cookies on display were properly labelled, so there was no way I could've known that the cookies had nuts in them. As my wife is allergic to nuts, this would've been important information to display. My wife became short of breath after eating half a cookie, which was when we discovered the nuts inside. I phoned the store to let them know that the cookies were not properly labelled, which could prove dangerous, and the incredibly rude franchisee immediately insinuated a liar. He talked over me and did his best to belittle me. I will most certainly never use this restaurant again and I'm seriously considering never ordering from Subway again thanks to this experience. I've also made my grievances known to Subway UK's customer services department.

They did me gluten free food, but be careful, I noticed crumbs and bits dropping into the closer ingredients... So if you're like me go for the fillings in the row closed to the glass to be safe....

One of the best places in Farnham too buy a really good sandwich.

Filthy restaurant. no evidence of deep cleaning or even ANY cleaning for a while. Very disappointing considering the COVID situation.

Food quality overall is very good. I would recommend "Doubling Up" on your meat however, very small amount of Tuna on first order, not even a scoops worth?!? Second order much better as I did double up. Third delivery order via Just Eat took almost TWO hours to arrive!! Very poor. Very reluctant to order via Just Eat again which is a shame for the restaurant as the food as I say is pretty good!

my wife and I recently moved out of farnham but used to go here every week and were never disappointed. some subways really are awful lets face it but this place is always spotlessly clean with fresh ingredients and a delicious mouth watering smell. the owner is amazing so friendly and never without a smile. the employees become your friends after a while too, shame some of them don’t seem to work there as much anymore, (where did teriyaki tom go, awesome fellow so friendly and professional haha) great food cheap price lovely staff, we’ll miss so much! jay

Went there for a quick bite, definitely didn't expect a 5 star service/quality since it's a fast food place we're talking about, but what I experienced was just unacceptable. The ingredients displayed as a choice of what you can put in your roll/wrap looked old, they were all mixed up and the working station looked messy and not clean. Service was quick, but not outstandigly nice.

I have called in here for a takeaway meal on many occasions with my son as he loves the food from here. I like the meals to and everything seems so fresh and just perfect. There is seating in here if you want to stop and relax. No parking for this place accept the public car parks around the town.

Ordered a BLT, as there was not much option as i am gluten free. The only gluten free bread option was, very dry and hard in texture. Made for a disappointing meal. Subway need to provide more Gluten free options.

Odd place, gent behind the counter took my order and then proceeded to make his own sandwich because he was going on break so i had to round and order again.

Quite cozy but lovely staff. New vegan meat free marinara is great.

Very clean and friendly service

Not gonna lie, was a disappointing experience. Hearty Italian bread was stale. Tables and floor were dirty. At one point I swear I heard a young infant cry out from the back room. I know childcare is hard to come by but the thought of a server rushing between touching food and unseen children definitely isnt comforting at all.

the server called Anya is so nice and helpful. i can’t think of a single bad word to say about her and i hope she see’s this so that she knows that she filled my day with happiness.

This place is the best! The staff are hilarious and they even do karaoke, was treated to a rendition of Girl on Fire last Sunday from behind the scenes Prices low, quality great, staff amazing Great place

Very clean efficient service and a very good tuna sub. Have to say it was only a dash but but a good experience around. As ever side choice and all feeling very fresh.

On double yellow ,difficult to find parking

My friend and I are students at a nearby University. Subway offers us a fantastic deal - £3.50 for a sandwich, fresh warm cookie and drink. We have been staying in Spain for a couple of months as part of our Spanish language course but until around April we would go every Sunday evening. The boss is fantastic, sadly he’s not usually there on a Sunday evening it’s usually two boys in their late teens, one is a bit older with very short hair I think Sam he’s called, and the other one is young very slim with curly hair and an ear piercing whose name badge reads Tomi, both very friendly and chat to us regularly They’re very efficient too, a group of boys from the local school sometimes come in and occasionally cause trouble but what I’ve noticed is that the younger staff member Tomi? takes no nonsense and lays the rules down very firmly to make sure they don’t get out of hand so everyone can enjoy a peaceful environment. My friend Steven commented on how professional and efficient he is, the other guy is more laid back but is very friendly. Tomi would make an ideal team leader but I don’t think Subway has team leaders. We like Subway Farnham and cannot wait to return when we get back from Seville. Thanks to the boss and all his staff.

The food is really great for all people due to the wide range of choice they have. Furthermore, customising your subway is easy and you can choose how much salad you want if you would prefer a healthier option. It is quite small so could do with being bigger as often it gets cramped with not enough or no seats at all. The staff are all kind and helpful and are very quick at making the food.

Eii i come in here with my mates regularly, the boss man is great and gives discounts to everyone, real nice man. the teenage guy with the high voice and curly hair poking out of his cap is dead funny don’t know his name but he’s a boss brov ahaha and he does the sauce real peng too, i always get him to do the sauce coz he does a fancy squiggle with it looks really appetising The cookies are LEGIT and they even warm them for you. Shop is proper spacious too, clean and tidy. Subway my bros, you are littt Big love, dudes

wow. Ive never known a subway like this, im at the nearby Uni here and I heard they do a student deal, £3.50 for a sandwich side and drink so decided to come along. Omg I’ve never gone anywhere else since. The food is really good but it’s the atmosphere that’s so unique and inviting i go there all the time - the staff are just so great. I feel like i work there too im in there so much and I know every staff name and they all know mine! You think youve been to the best subway? No. Only when you’ve had a smile from the lovely boss Ferdous or the friendly manager Sonia and a catch up with my g Tom for the latest gossip and a chat with Haydn about the latest playstation game and a rant to fantastic and helpful Gurjit about the weather have you been to the best subway. Subway Farnham, you are my family not just my local sandwich shop, and i will come back everytime! Oh and btw your new menu is awesome. I love the seeded bread and the chocolate Cadbury muffins. Delish!

I recently moved to Farnham from Essex and visit Subway every sunday. The prices are great (saver subs are only £2.59, what a bargain?!!) and the staff are friendly. The lady called gurjit is very nice, and the teenage guy tom is an absolute legend. My daughter is very fussy and they catered to her needs beautifully, my partner was also vegan so the tom guy offered to change his gloves and even recommended a sauce which my partner loved; blown away at how a teenager can be so professional and friendly. The gurjit lady was also lovely to my son and gave him a toy with the kids pak. Great place for families

Like any subway, it's good food cheap, got a good student deal if you didn't already know

The staff are superhelpful and polite. I have a medical condition which caused problems eating breads, so the staff went out of their way to accommodate and chane things around. Nothing is too much trouble. Keep up the excellent work team and see you all again as soon as I am out of hospital.

Always great place for me, usually get grated cheese as it's nicer, and never have any problems with very friendly staff.

disgusting, I ordered chicken baghet and put a few chicken pieces and asked to measure my quantity again and the staff was very aggressive and said if I do not like going anywhere else.

Friendly although at times a bit slow. Limited seating and a bit cramped to queue for your sub. Standard Subway otherwise.

There's not a lot to say about Subway - it's a sandwich / salad bar which offers average sandwiches. The honey grain bread is nice and I had tuna and salad which was fine. The staff were friendly and helpful and it's quick if you haven't much time at lunchtime.

Honestly I wish I could rate this higher, Subway is by far my favourite fast food place. A well made sub can make my day. So far this subway has been nothing but dissapointment. The workers don't care about the proper structure of the sandwich, just slap some cheese anywhere on the bread and call it a day. This sort of mentality is not healthy for a professional fast food joint. The worst experience I had in a subway was right here. I was ordering a sub and the worker who was taking the order interrupted me and asked her coworker when is her break. She missed my order entireley and made the wrong sub, I didn't have any energy to argue so I just letted it slide. The quality of the produce could be improved, but I can't hate on it too much because it's a fast food joint. In conclusion, the workers are uncaring and just want to be done with you as fast as possible in result, they make abysmal subways that aren't fun to eat.

Subway is by some miracle the only fast food joint in town, so who cares whether the food is good or not! Lets just agree that this is the only place you can get food without selling a limb to afford it in Farnham.

Closed an hour early for no apparent reason

A brilliant place to eat lunch at, with a wide range of bread, meal choices and vegetables which makes your meal easy to customise. The staff are reasonably friendly and their are a few tables to eat at.

Everything is wrong about this place. It had not been cleaned in I don't know how long. I had never used a Subway before but was in Farnham, wanted a baguette type sandwich, in a hurry, so tried this place. The smells emanating as the door opened was inviting, so I took a chance and tried it.

Regularly go out of my way to come here with my kids. The staff are always really friendly and the food is exactly as ordered. Can’t fault the place, and especially not the staff.

There's not much to say here. It's a clean, well-maintained Subway. Otherwise, you're getting what you expect: fast food, moderate service, and a reasonably healthy selection. It stands out a little in Farnham as one of the only sandwich shop/cafe type restaurants open for dinner, and if you're looking to get something light or in a hurry this is pretty much your option (not counting Waitrose/Sainsburys).

Come here for breakfast most mornings at half 7, am served by the manager usually. He's a great guy, very friendly. Almost all of the staff are very good, and I would happily eat here any day.

I here subway though 7am I wait open late why must open early

Easy access and convenience for students but service can be hit and miss.

Subway Farnham is one of the only subways in the local area to still accommodate the £3 or £5 student meal deal and is always up to date with the newest sandwiches and choices for your sub. The staff have always been friendly and always efficient and quick at serving you. Can't complain about quality of the food or the service, The only minor negative being that the place needs maybe a little better seating plan, however the venue is fairly small.
