Le Bab in City of London, Westminster

Para un viernes por la noche en un lugar lleno del centro de Londres este lugar era un remanso de paz. El ambiente era tenue pero no oscuro, la música era perfecta, podíamos escucharnos! El personal era acogedor y amable, dispuesto a ayudar y hacer nuestra estancia agradable. La comida llegó rápidamente y era impresionante. Teníamos el pollo con mantequilla y las fabulosas patatas fritas con fondue de queso y no nos decepcionó. Recomiendo encarecidamente este gran lugar!

Splendido locale, piatti tipici siriani e location caratteristica, al primo piano del Kingly Court. Brocche di acqua gratuita (a Londra non è usuale!) porzioni abbondanti e deliziose. Nessuna spezia è forte, equilibri di sapori in ogni piatto. Super consigliato!

La comida está bien, pero la experiencia arruinada por el gerente grosero: Toda la experiencia fue completamente arruinada por la arrogancia y grosería del gerente y el mal servicio al cliente. Llegamos exactamente un minuto después del período de gracia de 15 minutos para nuestra mesa debido a una emergencia médica y el gerente inicialmente nos rechazó sin más que una disculpa, alegando que ya había regalado nuestra mesa y sermoneándonos sobre la importancia de que los clientes llegaran a tiempo a los restaurantes. Esto fue a pesar de que el restaurante estaba medio vacío y numerosas mesas estaban libres. Esta es nuestra segunda visita al restaurante y en ambas ocasiones el mismo gerente se ha negado a dejarnos sentar en la mesa que hemos reservado previamente y en su lugar nos pidió que nos sentáramos en asientos de bar para acomodar a los clientes que nunca se materializó de hecho. Finalmente cedió, y nos dejó sentarnos en el bar junto a la puerta principal. Esta fue una experiencia muy desagradable, ya que una ráfaga de viento frío soplaba cada vez que la puerta se abría (que era muy frecuente). Los entrantes estaban bien pero no nos dieron oportunidad de terminarlos: antes de que hubiéramos terminado (y tres minutos después de que hubieran llegado los entrantes) , nos trajeron nuestros platos principales y nos pidieron por el camarero que devolviéramos los trocitos del entrante que no habíamos terminado porque no había suficiente espacio para dejar el principal. Cuando lo pusimos en conocimiento del gerente, su reacción fue extraordinaria: en lugar de disculparse, continuó nuestro desacuerdo anterior sobre la importancia de que los clientes acudieran a tiempo a sus reservas. En general, este es un buen restaurante, pero el servicio realmente lo decepciona. Para ser justos, el camarero principal era excelente y realmente hizo todo lo posible para hacer las cosas para nosotros una vez que habíamos explicado la situación, pero la conducta del gerente significaba que la situación era irrecuperable. Recomendaría ir a otras sucursales de Le Bab en Londres para evitar entrar en contacto con el gerente de esta sucursal.

Después de leer comentarios anteriores, reservé este lugar. El restaurante era muy frío y poco iluminado. Shawarma de cordero pedido - pequeña porción de cordero con grasa en algunos trozos. El pan plano era del tamaño de una placa lateral. No es bueno.

Visitado 3 veces ya y este restaurante es tan bueno! genuinamente la mejor comida de sabor, y el personal super agradable con buen servicio siempre! volveremos de nuevo gracias!

Después de haber querido probar este lugar por un tiempo, conseguimos una reserva para le bab soho y no me decepcionó la comida era tan encantador, sabroso y vibrante. . el personal es todo encantador y atento No puedo esperar a volver

Visitamos en nuestra primera noche en Londres, ya que estábamos buscando una comida más relajada y rápida después de un día de viaje. Kingly Court tiene una gran opción para comida y bebidas, pero Le Bab era una gran elección! El personal era amable y atento y servicial con las recomendaciones. La comida llegó rápido y era delicioso. Recomendaría el Dirty Bab, la salsa fondue era fenomenal! Los cócteles también fueron geniales; sus Mai Tai’s fueron los mejores que tuve en el viaje. El precio era razonable para los tamaños de porción también.

La comida más deliciosa de Londres y el personal muy agradable también! todos los platos eran muy agradables, principales, entrantes, lados, etc y buen restaurante lindo. el personal es muy encantador también

Pre theatre meal with my husband - Le Bab is a 7 minute walk from The Piccadilly Theatre. Its on the top floor of Kingly court - which is a vibrant little court of restaurants and had live music playing when we visited. There is a lift up to the top floor. We had a window seat so could watch the comings and goings below us - the window was open so we were served from the walk way. Upmarket twist on the kebab concept and it was absolutely superb! As said in other reviews the hummus is the best I've taste!!! We had the dirty bab and a butter chicken kebab. Beautifully cooked and presented and so tasty! Cocktails are reasonably priced and not the usual thimble sized offering you sometimes get in London. Service was friendly and efficient - loved the whole experience!! The restaurant is pristine and Mediterranean in feel - a great place to people watch! Would definitely return!

Loved Le Bab - fantastic hummus, reminiscent of the best of the Middle East, plus gorgeous fried chicken and a great wine selection from Portugal. Highest recommendations!

Probably the best Kebabs in the world. The Dirty Bab with Lamb Adana Pickles Twice Cooked Chips Fondue sauce is just epic hands down the best Kebab I have had so much effort has gone in to make the absolute best of every ingredient. The chips were the best I have had simple things done well just work. I have eaten here with my partner and teenage kids quite funny my kids literally took one bite and said at the same time can we come here on my birthday. My partner of 17 years is now my wife as of last week we are having a quick mini moon before going away In January at Battersea power station hotel .Out of all the places to eat she wants to go to le bab & have a kebab with all the sides and plenty of cocktails. We have done all the fine dining at Mitchelin stared places and prefer chilled out places like this that don’t break the bank but provide a taste experience well above the price.

Called and booked in advance. Was called back to advise there was no availability at 7pm but there was at 8pm. I agreed. Upon arrival, we had to wait around 10 minutes to be seated. Between 3, we ordered the loaded fries, hummus and fried chicken. For the main I had the adana. The meze was amezeng...especially the loaded fries. Every item was delicious. My main was amazing but I preferred the look of the other mains ordered by my colleagues. I would recommend dining here and I would visit again.

Nous avons déjeuner et dîner dans ce restaurant sympathique où les saveurs sont au rendez vous! La garlic Naan, le houmous, les kebabs… un régal avec une mention spéciale pour les nuggets maison de poulet! Délicious!! Accueil charmant et prix corrects pour Londres!

Was surprisingly good! we had veggie options to include aubergine and paneer bother were delicious! We also had some nice cocktails!

Accueil souriant et plats pleins de goût pour ce restaurant de Soho, nous n’avons pas été déçus par notre choix Les prix sont peut être un peu élevés mais nous sommes tout de même à Londres… Les frites à partager sont délicieuses Nous sommes sortis de là le ventre bien rempli Attention, service facturé en pourcentage par rapport à votre note totale + bien penser à demander de l’eau du robinet pour ne pas payer en plus !

Genuinely the best kebab in London. Particularly impressed with the elegant packaging which kept the contents safe and warm. Would recommend 10/10

Rude head waiter. Booked a table for 8pm was ushered outside twice as they were busy and short of tables and room.Needless to say we did not eat here.

Pretty average. Got the Butter Chicken Kebab for £15! Very average. Double cooked chips £4 weren't crunchy..... A highlight was the free tap water......and the server was nice.....

Great atmosphere in Kingly court. Le Bab is on the top floor and serves good food. The cocktails are OK - a little different from the norm which is a nice change. We went pre theatre at 5.30pm and it was busy but a few spare tables and you can sit at the side on the high stools. We ordered mezze and a main but our main course arrived within 60 seconds of the mezze being put in front of us. So we had to ignore the mezze or the main would go cold. That was the only downer on the experience. Not keen on the hot food arriving on thin metal plates which go onto cold tables, it went cold quickly. The food however really is a joy and recommended. We'd been advised to check the bill carefully from other TA reviewers for any 'extra' service charge / tip beyond the usual 12.5%, but there was nothing hidden at this venue. Tip: Don't sit near the door in winter, there's a cold blast every time the door opens. Otherwise a nice place to eat and drink.

It was great to be there in Le Bab, name is also hanged me up. Thanks for the delicious lamp`s dish. And the beers!

We waited over 15 minutes to place a post dinner order. No one came to take the order. We kept waiting patiently. And then suddenly the host came and said you have reached the time limit and have to leave. Moreover there was no earlier intimation of a time limit. Host was very rude. Pathetic.

Stopped here at random for an evening meal and were lucky enough to get a seat. The food was excellent, fresh, well balanced and nicely balanced between tradition and innovative touches. The service was fast, attentive, and friendly throughout. Add to this resonable pricing (for Soho) and it can't be faulted.

One of the better meals I have ever had. Wow! This place was fantastic. Simple but lovely. Will definitely be returning!

We decided to come here based on the videos we had seen on instagram, thinking this place looks fantastic, but comparing it to the real thing (please see images) so we decided to visit the Battersea branch, knowing it was a newish. Very poor presentation, just seem like the dirty bab was reheated and served. The free range chicken shish was also reheated and still had cold parts in it, was very hard. The chips we were served were green! Requesting an orange juice we were given fizzy orange. Then after asking for the service charge to be removed we never got any attention not even a goodbye like others guest that left. All I took from our experience is that this is the Le bab way of service and food.

Went to Le Bab for a meal before a gig. The food was OK, can’t really fault it. We only had 90mins and had to get going to get to the gig. Paid the bill and left. My issue come from checking the receipt. Since when do restaurants put on 12.5% for service and then another 12.5% as a tip!! I thought the cocktails we’d finished with were bl@@dy expensive. So our £110 bill for three turned in £150. Be aware. We won’t be going here again

Ate there on a Friday night. Food was ok, service wasn’t bad, however be very wary when paying the bill!!! They automatically added the now standard 12.5% service charge, but then also added a further ‘tip’ to the bill which - in the dimly lit restaurant - I didn’t notice until after I had left….. ultimately a £148 meal cost £185 with the double tipping!! Neither the service or the food was worth that!!!! Cheeky to say the least & clever use of lighting to hide the rip off!

Food and service was good. However, when paying for the bill the option for tip appeared, when the service charge was already on the price. And I selected it so paid twice. So partly my fault, but a bit cheeky on their part

I ordered a salad and meat kabab, the salad had a worm walking within it which shows the level of hygiene in this place, the meat kabab was served cold and below average for someone like me who is from the Middle East and knows what good Middle Eastern food tastes like, it was a terrible experience, I wouldn't go again, not recommended.

We visited the restaurant at Battersea Power Station. The service was fast and attentive and the food was great. Lamb Adana very tasty and the flatiron hummus also very good. Prices are reasonable considering Battersea Power Station is full of high end outlets

We walked in on a busy saturday night with no reservation, and not expecting to get a table. The manager was very friendly and accomodating, we ended up sitting at the counter and it was just great. Food was as good as ever, service was efficient and attentive. Good fun being able to appreciate the speed and attention to detail from the chefs on that somewhat small kitchen area, but very smooth operation. Great experience and fun meal! Thanks to all the staff!

Service , drinks, food and atmosphere all great. We went to the branch in Battersea Power Station. Very reasonably priced too. Service was included in the bill. So why did they try to get another tip out of me by inviting me to tip again at one of 3 different percentage levels when I paid using a card. This is an awful practice.

We visited the new battersea power station lebab and it was brilliant. The kebabs are open style and full of flavour and were not greasy in the slightest. We had the fries and tahini dressed salad on the side and both were excellent. If you want a good value, tasty, quick meal then this is the spot for you.

Have been to Le Bab Soho multiple times, always amazed at the quality of food served. While the kebabs are the natural main thing to highlight, what I'd like to highlight is all of the starters, each one is absolutely incredible. From the hummus to the dirty fries, each of the courses are well put together, very tasty and consistently delivered at very high quality. My go-to everytime I'm in London!
