Le Bab Battersea, an all day restaurant serving kebabs and Indian naan bread. The butter chicken kebab was really good. My only remark is that it is over sourced so it is a bit soggy for a sandwich.

The food was fine, but the prices felt a bit high for what was offered. Unfortunately, most of the menu items were sold out, which was disappointing. Even basic condiments like ketchup weren’t available! If you can deliver, please revise your stock management. It would make the experience much better.

Ordered 4 mix grills. All 4 arrived cold. The meat was definitely not real meat more processed meat. Seemed like the food had been defrosted and reheated. To be fair to the staff, they offered to reduce to bill by 50%.

We visited on 27.12 so it was busy but buzzy. Bit of a line even though we'd reserved but waiting staff were friendly and super efficient. Impressed. Food was ok - not amazing but tasty and served quickly.

Decided to finally try le bab but as the restaurant was busy and I live around the corner decided to get it as take away. After paying 16.50 I was expecting to get a decent portion but got what can only be described as small wrap (I pay £7 for same size meal at Leon for example). Was even more disappointed when I tasted it as the lamb neck meat was so tough that you could not bite or chew it so I basically just ate naan soaked in sauce.

Came here today. Despite it being busy the staff managed to get us seated as soon as possible. They were very polite and helpful. The food was amazing especially the hummus. Really enjoyed my experience here with my friend.

the food is sooo nice, the peanut pesto hummus and the broccoli are by far the best! such rich flavours but without being too heavy, it’s perfect to share with friends can’t lie i didn’t like the hot honey halloumi at all but my mum did so take that how you want haha

What a fabulous restaurant to dine at,lovely atmosphere, decor and impeccably polite and attentive restaurant members. Food was well presented and absolutely lovely. Highly recommend this place and when I am next in London I will definitely be visiting again

We fancied a nice pre-Christmas dinner without a booking. The staff have clearly not had sufficient training as they treated us in a rude and condescending way. We did not mind waiting, it was just the way the message was communicated was far from polite. The food was ok, overpriced and nothing special, in fact it is a ‚posh kebab shop’ kind of concept where fast food is elevated to a sit down restaurant status. Overall it’s ok, but I’m not rushing to be back mainly because of rude staff and poor service.

A pleasant place with good service. The food is tasty, though nothing special, but the portion size is a joke. For a normal and slightly overpriced amount, you get a child-sized portion. Ridiculous. Never again.

Our dining experience was exceptional! The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was outstanding. We were pleasantly surprised by the incredible quality of the Middle Eastern cuisine. The Lamb Shawarma, in particular, was perfectly seasoned with a delightful blend of spices and condiments. Highly recommended!

Decent food but loses a star for the pricing. The menu doesn’t include VAT. VAT included in pricing is standard in the UK. 12.5% service charge too. The portions are quite small, so these are premium prices. Not to mention we waited 10 minutes after getting the bill, by which point we went to the counter and just paid ourselves.

The food here is great, and I’ve been multiple times. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a date unless you’re okay with a bit of messy eating.

Didn’t enjoy my experience there. For 16-17 GBP I was oferred the dish from a photo. Overly fried chicken with some leaves on a small tray. I wanted a salad without oil initially, but all their salads are pre-cooked with oil. I am grateful they found a workaround, but I was not happy with the chicken. The portion is tiny.

Really poor restaurant.... I ordered the mixed grill and my wife ordered the chicken shish.... the food was just warm and was plastered with sauces, which did not make the food taste any better..... very basic food.... would definitely not recommend. I can't believe the reviews have praised this place??? It's soooo crap! The only nice thing was the so called twice fried fries and the mocktail..... appalling food.....

First visit and was amazing! The chicken kebab flatbread tasted delicious and would highly recommend! Reasonable priced too. We ordered a side of twice cooked fries and they were amazing! Happy hour a few hours with Prosecco £5 a glass great deal to have over a dinner. If we are back in the area, we would come back.

After seeing co-founders of Le Bab Stephen Tozer and Ed Brunet on Masterchef critiquing the contestants on their food decided to look up Le Bab. The reviews were excellent with various locations across London. The videos on the website looked great of the food being cooked and great size portions. I was really looking forward to eating at Le Bab. Decided to go to Battersea Power Station Le Bab with my daughter on Friday 29th November 2024 at 6.00pm. We did not book ahead but on arrival the GM was very personable and managed to find us a table for 2. The service was very quick and straight to the point. With orders taken I tried to use the restroom facilities to wash my hands before eating. To my horror I was advised that there were no toilets or hand basins to wash my hands in, however I could have some wipes or hand sanitiser if I wished. I was then pointed towards the shopping centre toilets on the other side of the building. Unacceptable! The food arrived and it was a real disappointment as the kebab sizes were tiny, you could be mistaken for thinking you had ordered from a child’s menu! We ordered the lamb shawarma and chicken shish kebabs. The lamb kebab had hardly any meat in it and was drowned in sauce It was all very underwhelming. The chips were the only item which had a decent size portion. We ordered : 1 chipotle tahini broccoli, 1 lamb shawarma kebab, 1 regular free range chicken shish kebab, 1 double cooked fries and 1 coca cola. The bill came to £50.29 which given the quantity of food was a rip off. If the quality of food was outstanding then I could appreciate that. But it was not. It was substandard. On leaving the restaurant the GM asked if we had enjoyed the food and experience. I stated that sadly we had not. To give credit where credit is due the GM was very apologetic and offered us a refund. As we had eaten the food I felt it would be wrong of us to accept this. I am left feeling very confused by the wonderful reviews we have read about Le Bab as we certainly did not feel that, although a common theme is that they give small portions of food. My daughter and I felt very deflated and conned by our experience at Le Bab. Maybe Stephen Tozer and Ed Brunet should spend time critiquing their own restaurant food and improving their standards before doing the same to others on Masterchef!! A really disappointed customer!!

Unassuming & busy but excellent in every way. All the dishes vegetarian & meat were full of flavour, perfectly cooked and quick to table. Well definitely come again.

Great evening. The food was delicious and the the negroni and Christmas Spice cocktail was delicious. Hassan was a complete gem, so friendly and welcoming to us. Samuel was also lovely. Thank you and will be back soon!

The restaurant cancelled everyone’s bookings on a Saturday night leaving them no where else to go due to it being busy. Half hour before our booking no notice via email. As they decided to have a private function instead. Leaving people no where to eat as everything is booked. They didn’t care the manager and staff was so rude about it and did not care they do not value customers at all and have no customers service so not risk going there for this reason

The restaurant was half empty but they rejected us. Edit: Restaurant replied to our review stating that they were preparing a table. This is false. The waiter clearly stated that all diners just received their meals and it may take 20+ minutes. What really happened is that this small restaurant has 2 small sections 5 meters apart from each other. Since the 3rd waiter was off, one of the waiters told us that he didn't want to serve more diners and closed a section. It's either that or they didn't like the way we look. Given that restaurant owner gave a conflicting message, I think the waiter just didn't want to offer tables specifically to us.

Food was amazing. There is so much flavour in everything we had. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Plus its dog friendly.

A halal restaurant on the second floor of the Battersea Power Station complex, a diverse mix of Arabic food, consisting of ten flatbreads topped with chicken, meat, falafel, or grilled eggplant. The taste is very delicious, the service is excellent, and the place is beautiful.

Whole experience was absolutely fantastic, food was seriously out of this world and staff really lovely and attentive, will be coming back!!!

LAMB SHAWARMA - Excellent taste ( somewhat adapted version but quite impressive), excellent service. Small portion, overpriced, nice location to the river.

This restaurant didn’t disappoint. Friendly welcoming staff and a lovely ambiance. The simple but flavoursome vegetarian sharing meze and the lamb sharwma were my favourite items. Would recommend and return and I live 77 miles away !

The staff in this place are really attentive even though the place is really busy. Everyone was super friendly. The food was delicious, the loaded chips and chimichuri hummus was my personal favourite. I can’t wait to go back.

If I could give them 100 stars wow Hassan was so great the customer service is impressive honestly as soon as we got seated then ordered our food took five minutes flavoured food perfection seasoned and mouth melting I would recommend them 100%

I've decided to take away a few stars because the amount of chicken/lamb you get is really poor given how much the dishes cost. Give me a proper portion of lamb and don't try to hide it by drowning the wrap in sauce please.

Delicious!! We had Broccoli, Hummus, something with aubergine and three different kebab. the service was excellent. Only one thing. It is a little pricey for the size of the portions.

We loved it. It was dog friendly. The food was very delicious. It wasn't massive portions. Even with sharing, one wasn't a big portion. If you are not much hungry than its good for you.

Popped in for a quick lunch during our shopping - I had butter chicken kebab and my husband had the dirty bab. Both were tasty if a bit difficult to eat on the small plates! The servers were really friendly but everything took a long time, which was annoying only because we’d told them a number of times we were in a rush. Overall would go again for a quick lunch stop but probably wouldn’t go to hang out with friends or for a nice lunch.

I rarely leave reviews but my experience was such that I felt strongly to share. Last week I ordered a takeaway which included a side of the broccoli. I discovered half way through that there were white polystyrene balls within. When I returned to the restaurant, they advised that they keep the broccoli contained in a polystyrene box which is where the balls might have come from. Whilst the manager did give me a refund for the meal, I was upset that I might have consumed plastic and had planned to give some for my 4 year old son for dinner. If I hadn't discovered the plastic, he would have consumed this. The manager said a member of the marketing team / HQ would be in touch but I have yet to receive any calls. I left feedback from a generic email received and still no contact - I can only assume the company are not interested in customer service. I live in the area and have historically enjoyed the food there but will not be returning soon. Furthermore, the last 2 times I have experienced rude staff who have made me feel that I was causing a nuisance when my discount code didn't work, and when I paid with my American Express credit card which they apparently do not accept, yet the payment machine allowed the transaction to go through. Overall, if you are looking for unpleasant experiences with staff and a side of contaminated food, you're in the right place.

Amazing place! The food was exceptional, and both Hassan and Sunanda went above and beyond. Hassan made me a special iced tea, perfectly balanced—not too sweet, not too sour. The service was outstanding, with both Hassan and Sunanda being incredibly friendly and attentive. They were also fantastic with kids, making it a welcoming spot for families. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience here today! There was a little mix-up with my order—I asked for no pickled sides and got pickled cucumbers with the mixed grill—but the staff handled it so well. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. The chicken is super tasty. The lamb could’ve been a bit more tender. Overall, great place, great service—I’ll definitely be back!

We came here during Saturday lunch 2pm. The staff are very welcoming and smiley. We waited around 5mins to get seated but they took the order almost instantly. The food here is halal so I ordered the lamb kofta main and my friend ordered the aubergine. We ordered fresh home made lemonade which was slight sweet. They served the food very fast and it was tasty. Perfect for a quick shopping break. The kebabs cost £13ish each. Thanks for the great service.

Amazing place....comfort, kind and the food delicious....100% I'll comeback many times...I know you normally up the pictures to see the food ...but I left my plate empty...because all the food end up in my tummy.

Had lunch here, really nice restaurant , customer service was excellent really great waiters attentive and made us feel comfortable, read some reviews whilst we were there as we just walked in and agree that portion size is a tad small at price point (including drinks), otherwise well worth a visit and would come back if I'm in the area.

Very good for quick, easy and not so heavy meal. The food is very tasty. The service is good and is located in a good spot. The Butter Chicken kebab was very good.

The food was nice but portions are small It was unexpected and unconditional (by design?) that after charging 12.5% gratuity there was one more charge of 3£ (again for gratuity?). There is as probably a possibility to reject it, but these two charges were there by default! So one needs to be too careful

Amazing restaurant and excellent customer service.

Don't really like to post negative reviews but I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience at LeBab Battersea Power Station. We pre ordered 6 meals from the set menu of which 3 were meat and 3 chicken. 2 of the meat ones were undercooked (very pink) and smelt terrible. When we returned it they asked if we would like a replacement to which we agreed. Unfortunately most of the others had finished by the time the 2 replacements arrived. I spoke to the Server and he said oh I will take 10% off which would have been £20 (One meal was £28) I was also unhappy that I had to call the Manager over. He should have been coming over to apologise in the first instance. All in all the service was a bit slow (the server was very nice to be fair) the kebab which is literally the whole point of the restaurant was undercooked, and the Management did not come and discuss until they were asked and tried to fob me off with 10% To top.ot off they charged 15% service charge half of which goes to the kitchen staff who undercooked the food. Really disappointed

Creí que Dorset era un lugar para perros, pero la central eléctrica de Battersea es uno de los lugares más aptos para perros en los que he estado y eso incluye nuestra visita a Le Bab. Sí, es bastante caro, pero el servicio y el alboroto de nuestro perro es el recuerdo que nos asegurará volver. Tienen un servicio al cliente justo. La comida tampoco estaba mal. Soy un fanático del kebab y me gusta comer comidas más ligeras, así que esto fue perfecto. También hacen una pequeña gama de bebidas de precio reducido que estaban disponibles el domingo. Bien hecho todo el mundo. Sin duda volveremos 👍

This is an overpriced kebab shop. Staff are friendly but adding 12.5% service when there is barely any service kebabs are served in paper and baskets. £4.50 for undercooked skinny fries 😢

The chicken was ridiculously small, basically chicken nugget size. Very expensive for what you get. Chips were a bit soggy. Sriracha and garlic sauces were the highlight. Not coming again.
