Astonishingly good venue for cocktails. A buzzy vibe combined with beautiful setting. The staff were wonderful, acknowledged one of the party's birthday on arrival and were attentive throughout. The menu is a beautifully produced booklet and promises all sorts of unusual cocktail ingredients carefully crafted. We asked for recommendations on fresh classics and got an Old Cuban, a twist on the mojito end of the cocktail spectrum. It was fabulously made. Every ingredient carefully balanced and all evident. Even the balanced mint leaf added a subtle but noticeable part of the whole. (If you’re used to mojito that’s just a glass of lime with some rum lobbed in — come here and try the real deal.) Excellent place all round. Smart but not stuffy and a real early evening treat.

A wonderful bar in a wonderful hotel. Cocktails are inventive, unique, and always of excellent quality. Impeccable friendly service in a refined bar and hotel. Nothing is too much for Krystian and his team.

I went to the bar recently, whilst the atmosphere is pleasant and the service is good, the cocktails I had were poor. The lychee had a scoop of sorbet that I was told to stir in but so rock solid and didn't melt before I had finished my drink. I then had the olive, which was just okay and had barely any liquid. Considering the price of the cocktails, I would expect them to be better.

Beautiful bar in the Langham hotel. I had a martini that was perfect, and had my drink transferred to a new cold glass multiple times - first class treatment. Also, it's a quiet place, no loud music - granted it was a quiet evening.

Such splendid cocktails. The very best. Take your time and read the menu. The bar food is delicious, premium amd you won't mind paying for it. Recommended for service also, the staff are polished in their professionalism. Enjoy!

Interesting menu with oriental twists and exotic ingredients - overall good ambience and great cocktails; worth noting that for each cocktail they have an option to convert as mocktail which is fantastic for any company that doesn’t drink

There is a reason that this is a top 50 bar in the world. They care about every detail in each drink and food item. Unbelievable.

We decided to stop by for a drink on our way to dinner. And they certainly did not disappoint. The cocktails were just made to perfection. Looks amazing and taste great! And with the great service as expected from a 5 star hotel. Off course, expect the price tag to go with it 😁

Very busy bar. The bar staff certainly know their stuff. We sat at the bar to watch them making the cocktails.

It costs a lot, but well worth it. The quality and hedonistic experience of the drinks (and nibbles) is absolutely excellent! Better than the London standard. The bar staff are also incredibly welcoming, helpful and informed on the menu. The menu is extensive, but if you have a specific interest (eg "dry spicy mist") they'll be able to come up with a drink which is just perfect. Krystian especially is lovely, thank you for a lovely evening!

Reasonably good cocktails, but for the price (£25) you expect much more. My main memory is of my cocktail which had bubble tea style tapioca pearls in which were hard and uncooked. This felt like such a basic mistake it overshadowed the rest of the drink. It's a very interesting menu certainly, but it feels more experimental than polished.

Opened in 1865 as Europe’s first ‘Grand Hotel’, The Langham, London is situated in the Marylebone district on Langham Place. Within The Langham is Artesian Bar, which was named the best bar in the world for 4 years in a row starting in 2012. Known for its lavish interior and eye-catching purple leather chairs, Artesian is currently led by the charismatic Giulia Cuccurullo. Her team’s current menu Ingredients of the Future, was a finalist for the 2023 Los Siete Misterios Best Cocktail Menu Award by the World’s 50 Best Bars. Each cocktail on the menu highlights a single and sometimes unusual ingredient. For example, Insects is a smoky whiskey sour featuring Michter’s bourbon, Campari, Nixta Corn Liqueur, chicatanas, coffee, lime and crickets. Other than world class drinks and hospitality, Artesian has some of the best bar food in London thanks to a collaboration with Angelo Sato of Humble Chicken in Soho. A must are the buttermilk chicken karaage with spicy miso mayo.

Artesian , lovely place with a super drinks

Very welcoming even though I was on my own. Tuna was delicious but buttermilk chicken only a step above what you would get in a chicken joint. Had their version of an old-fashioned which was fan. 68 Sterling for two small plates and a cocktail.

Totally love this place! I always come back with my friends visiting London to get a nice experience or perfect for some dates! It is quite interactive since the waiters try to help you choosing an isli ring cocktail. Sweet potato for me was the best, but I tried the beetroot and I was amazed. Regardless the cocktails, there is a fascinating entrance, a long impressive route to restrooms, a great “show” to present the cocktail. There is one remark: waitresses sometimes knee down when talk to you which I am not sure if it is to lower down their voice and keep the vibes cosy or gives a bit the impression of submission to clients. Not sure, that was a bit tricky and maybe the only thing to point out as a remark.

Had a lovely date night here the other night, the service was exemplary and the drinks were really well crafted. The menu seems to contain a lot of riffs on classic cocktails done in a sustainable manner, some of these really work knock it out the park- I really enjoyed the Kombu which is a scotch based negroni riff. The service was the aspect that really set this place apart though. Our server Joel was very polite and down to earth, keen to explain the menu and the ingredients to us, and importantly didn’t have the slightest air of pretentiousness or arrogance when serving as can sometimes happen in these kinds of bars. Overall a lovely experience, will definitely be coming back soon.

I love the vibe of Artesian, the decor looks great especially the bar area. And the cocktails were amazing. I’ve tried the old fashioned from signature menu, it was nice and funny. My friend kept saying it looked like Chinese soup with soils LOL. And then I’ve ordered penicillin which is my favourite. It’s another good one in London. It’s smoky, fresh and gingery. It definitely surprised me. Other than that, the service was great! The waiters are very thoughtful and caring. And they served us the birthday drinks as well. I will definitely go back for the service and cocktails.

Gorgeous atmosphere, incredible marble everywhere but the drinks were extremely expensive (1 cocktail is 2-3 McDonald's meals worth), but then presented with so much ice that the glass only contains 25% liquid. Some of my colleagues took a cocktail that required assembly with tiger nuts and a spoon? A bit pretentious but nevertheless, I'd most certainly be back with colleagues.

Tasty cocktails in a relaxing setting. Very expensive, and you could probably get cocktails as nice in cheaper places, but it’s worth it for the lovely atmosphere.

- very unique cocktails - their martinis were very different; tried a "SOIL" and there was a plant in it with a glucose soil base - their fried chicken and sandwich were absolutely delicious - intimate setting with the upscale vibes given the Langham Overall, top cocktail lounge in London. Really good food and cocktails. Prices are high, given you're at the Langham, but well worth it.

Very glad for the reservation as they were busy and had to turn away a few walk-ins. I would def be back, and with more friends next time!

Stopped here for a quick drink with my friend. Had been here once before. Cocktail menu is great and incentive, service was attentive and friendly, atmosphere is great, cocktails were delicious, couldn't fault it, can't wait to come back.

What an amazing cocktail bar, cannot recommend this place enough. You should try the tasting menu, 3 cocktails with three dishes. The food very good, the cocktails amazing. We will definitely keep this place on our list.

Sublime lounge! The burger is juicy, and so delicious, and the incredible thing is this burger is available in the in-room dining of the hotel it's located in! The juices were fresh, and tasty. I had a custom mocktail, which was definitely well-done. Soup was great too, and they do have great desserts... But that burger. Staff is friendly as well.

Pricey (upwards of £20 a cocktail) and the service was a little slow despite the empty bar. But the staff were polite, and crucially the drinks were spectacular. Perhaps the best I’ve ever had and definitely more to my liking than some of the creations from other bars nearby.

It's been named the best cocktail bar in the world - and we agree! The place is intimate, the waiters are extremely friendly and do their utmost to satisfy the customer. The drinks are expensive, but you won't find cocktails with such unexpected flavours anywhere else. There are also snacks which, again, are excellent and a little expensive but that's part of the place. It's one of the best of London and we'll be happy to come back and try them all!

A truly amazing place. The staff is great, they treat customers well, no matter whether you are wearing a suit or a T-shirt. They explain how the drinks are made, and what's the idea behind them. The drinks are unbelievable, I have never seen anything like this before. Free snacks and water included. I wish I could give them 6-stars!

Good cocktails, energy, and friendly and attentive bartenders! Alessandro had great service. I would go again. I got 'Sun' cocktail (good and well-balanced, worth trying even though I don't like carbonated drinks typically), 'Past' (great if you like more spirit-forward cocktails with dark liquor), and also tried another tall foamy cocktail – not sure what it's called. Everything was good! I would've tried more if I had enough alcohol tolerance left.

Sublime cocktails. Visited twice (about 6 years between visits!) and on both occasions they have been outstanding.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Langham’s Artesian one early evening on a rainy Saturday. The reason for the 5 stars is because it’s exactly what you would expect from a glitzy hotel bar. Are the drinks expensive? Yes. Are they nice though? Yes. The front of staff and serving staff are attentive and present and the ambience is lovely too. When you make a decision to go to a hotel bar like this for alcoholic beverages, you know it will not be cheap. So what you want is to feel like it’s worth it in comparison to what else you could get in London by comparison. You don’t want to come out begrudging the pounds you’ve spent. Having tried a few other hotel bars of equal standing, I’d have to say this is one of my consistently good favourites. Give it a try!

The best cocktail I’ve ever had. My favourite is Past, just a perfect old fashion with the biggest ice cube, which really changes the experience of the drink. The complementary crisps and olives are out of this world.

What an amazing experience. The decor, atmosphere, and service are outstanding. We went celebrating an anniversary and were made to feel very special. Can’t wait to return.

Service was as expected albeit not enough light. Furniture was okay but not comfortable enough for longer discussions or business meetings. Ideal for a drink in a relaxed environment post dinner.

Very elegant place with a very pleasant athmosphere and an excellent selection of drinks. Really creative themed cocktail menu that changes frequently enough as well.
