We were lucky as we didnt book a table but we managed to get one. Nice food but long wait and the restaurant wasnt even busy.

Nice restaurant with good service. Kids enjoyed their Mac and cheese and brownies.a bit pricey but lovely food.

Food was very good - well presented and very tasty Crab and Chilli tart for starters was great, and the mains of baked spices Aubergine and sea bass were excellent. The salads were very good as well. Recommended

What a disappointment, we used to love this restaurant before the refurbishment, but the service was apalling (1 1/2 hours for our food), the food average and over-priced and the decor a bit clinical and soulless.

Definitely a five star place and probably the best one to eat around. The food is tasty, the location is good and stuff are friendly and polite. Prices are reasonable too. Perfect for pizza takeaway and enjoy at the beach. Very nice classic margarita pizza. We also tried the fish and chips and the beef burger. All were great. Thank you 👌💫

Great place for a meal, snack or a coffee stop. Been refurbished since our last visit and under new management. Restaurant decor looks fab. Well worth a visit. We will be back

Great food, this is what you eat out for, surprising combinations but great taste and quality. Unfortunately, the young female waiters still have a lot to learn, they prefer to chat rather than pay attention to the customers.

Very nice local restaurant with good quality food. Open kitchen gives you a good vibes. My burger was jucy and delicious, my husband had a very nice thin crust rustic pizza. Definitely recommended!!!

Had the most amazing Capricciosa Neapolitan Pizza tonight in Lazy Jacks, it was the best i have ever eaten. The staff were fantastic thank you we will be back xx

A bit out of my depth but you only live once. Waited a couple of months to visit as it's 3 hours away. Starter with a Burgar for main. Coffee as I don't drink. Nice and quiet inside. Parking on street. Bit of a lucky draw. The two women with thier children, drinking wine, telling them to get of the phones and don"t put elbows on the table. Birthday treat, then let mum drive you home, whilst being over the limit?

We were very happy to see Lazy Jacks had re-opened. We have previously visited several times when staying at a hotel nearby. Food has got even better and internal decor and layout is much smarter. Service was friendly and genuine. An excellent meal, we will be back.

We turned up (family of four +dog) without a booking and the restaurant was really busy, but the waitress was really friendly and quickly cleared table for us. Honestly one of the best meals, I’ve had in a long time. We had the fish platter and meatballs to start 👌🏾 followed by linguine and the sea bass, cooked to perfection. The kids had cheese burgers and it’s safe to say nothing was left but empty plates. Short walk from the beach and well worth the visit!!

Just thankful they could feed us although we hadn't booked we had to sit outside which doesn't have the best views or atmosphere but the waitresses where very nice and the food was really good

Sadly disappointed in our food this visit. A great spot with a good vibe to it, it has recently been redecorated/refurbed since our last visit in summer 2023 & we actually preferred the bright fun feel of it before which embraced what it is rather than the very lovely but more serious beige and black decor. We had burgers for dinner which looked delicious when they turned up, but the meat was one of the worst we’ve had, over cooked, congealed & dark on the outside with a tinge of red to the meat, very dry & overly salty - not a moist tasty burger, I actually couldn’t really eat it as not enjoyable at all. The bacon seemed great quality but undercooked so was a slab of raw fat covered in cheese and the brioche bun was not soft at all. It was all very dry and horrendously salty. The kids pizza was great and kids brownie with ice cream was good afterwards too. It felt a real disappointment & so I don’t think we’ll be returning. I would say a nice spot for a drink but the food is below average based upon all of our visits to date.

This is a hidden gem! We have eaten here on a few occasions over a few years and has not disappointed on any of them. Great food and atmosphere.

The restaurant is lovely and I really like the location in Sandbanks. They are dog friendly. There is parking on the street and you can pay by phone. The food is very nice and well presented. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff is polite and friendly. We (10 people) were all very happy and satisfied.

Delicious breakfast … I love the new menu where you can choose your own breakfast. I have a plant based diet so chose avocado, spinach, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, with an oat milk latte. It was perfect. The staff were so busy but were friendly and helpful and provided service with a smile. Thank you for a lovely start to our day … we will be back very soon.

Very nice and I can say a bit private spot. Beautiful inside with a little outdoor space. Open kitchen also makes a nice vibe. Food is amazing!!!! 10/10 waitresses are very nice but one could not get me asking for additional half avocado to my eggs benedict and kept coming back 4 times. Overall, I really like it and will defo be back if around.

Don't order the vegan burger. They serve it completely plain except for a little thimble of salsa (?). Bizarre and lazy. A rip off to be honest. We're local and won't be returning. A shame. The previous iteration of the restaurant was far better.

After a complicated afternoon getting food was a little bit different, but after a quick call we were in. The food was fresh and fast, the servings were very generous. The service was amazing, big thanks to Sapphire and Rory. The atmosphere was amazing and was very upbeat getting you in a good mood. Would very much recommend. Thx

So pleased that Lazy Jacks has reopened. Went there last night (sat 27th April). Excellent food and service too despite the restaurant being very busy. Our waiter, a young lad called Luke, was very attentive alongside two young ladies. Will definitely be returning. We shared the fish platter to start, my wife had the chicken supreme for mains, spicy meat pizza with skinny fries for myself. Both meals were superb, thank you! 😊😊 Certainly a far more pleasant experience than the nearby Tandy establishment was a few months ago.

The name reflects the restaurant. Lazy. Fish and chips were tasteless. Sorry, but that should improve as the location is great.

First visit after reopening and does it deliver in more ways than one, staff were so warm and friendly on arrival and throughout the meal, and food was beautifully presented and the taste was spot on , perhaps needs to advertise more locally or a sign if possible on the road if allowed as you could easily miss this hidden gem which would be a shame, excellent restaurant that deserves to do well.

Great place, be interesting to see what new owners have done, got a booking for June 29th to see !

Very very sad news and a great loss for Sandbanks. Just read in the Bournemouth Echo that Lazy Jacks has closed permanently. I loved this place? Can we somehow crowdfund this back to life?

Fun summer island vibes in seaside setting. Nestled next to a marina with some views - cute outdoor seating area and plenty of indoor seating. We arrived mid day ‘pizza hour’ - and loved the butternut squash pizza. Amazing!!!! A chili sauce nicely offset the butternut flavor. We also ordered a margarita pizza. Dough was lovely - chewy and tasty thin crust. We had dessert too - an apple crisp and gelato - yum! Service was friendly and everyone works as a team. We had 4 people take care of our table - each was friendly and attentive. Seamless service and quality food.

Not sure if it's the season or other factors, but the restaurant seems to have gone downhill since my last visit. Customer service was slow, teetering on the verge of rude. I felt like I wasn't very welcome which was disappointing considering my last few visits have been quite the opposite. Will give it one last try - overall just did not feel welcoming.

We dropped by for a coffee and a smoothie with friends. Friendly service. Unfortunately, we missed breakfast.

Grabbing what could be the last bit of sun for the year i met a buddy here for breakfast who was coming in to pick me up on his powerboat. I was met with very friendly smiles from the staff. The place has a relaxed vibe but service was attentive and delightfully friendly. I had the Full English breakfast which was simply the best i have ever had (and I have had many). Coffee was good. The bill was very reasonable. I enjoyed it so much, We went back for breakfast there Sunday too!

What a great restaurant to have on the peninsula! Absolutely wonderful staff, food is very tasty (had the classic fish and chips) and a great atmosphere. Although it’s almost £20 for F&C it’s delicious and worth it

Had a pleasant visit to lazy jacks on a lazy Sunday, however the roast was disappointing. The roast had all the ingredients to be spectacular - however the execution wasn’t there. Potatoes and parsnips were undercooked, red cabbage was vinegary, Yorkshire pudding was dense and cupcake-like, and the gravy was very thick and sweet, more like BBQ sauce than gravy! The bowl of veg was also brought out 5mins before the plate so went a little cold. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hummus flatbread starter was amazing though! Hopefully as it’s early in roast season all can be improved 👌🏼

This place is tucked away but you'll be sorry if you miss it. Set in a marina on Panorama Road, Sandbanks, Poole, it is an absolute delight. The menu is varied, the staff are very friendly and the food is great. The biggest pizza I think I've ever been served - & cooked brilliantly too. It's a super place to visit. You'll need to search Panorama Road on your satnav as it didn't appear on our listings but believe me it's worth it.

Feel like we came on the wrong day, but pizzas were tasty! There were staffing issues when we visited, so there was only pizza on offer. The price was extortionate ££££ but perhaps this is due to the location? Would have expected a beach view for the price, not a car park, but that is my only complaint. The pizza was very good and arrived in good time, just so expensive, especially as we didn't get to choose anything else on the menu.

Great in summer with the windows drawn back. Very Mediterranean feel. Love the sourdough pizzas.

Wonderful food, service and atmosphere

What a disgraceful manager. Rude, inefficient and zero customer attention. I feel sorry for the other staff members who were embarrassed with his manner. As a local I am shocked he survives in such a competitive area. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Disappointing. This has been on our list of places we want to try for breakfast for a while. Unfortunately, the service let the whole thing down. Because of this it meant the food and coffee were served cold. It was sat for so long on the pass before being served to tables. Great decor and atmosphere inside. Black pudding, mushrooms and bacon were delicious. The toast wasn't warm enough to melt down the freezing cold butter to be able to spread it. I had to move my poached eggs around to butter the toast they were sat on. They serve our favourite butter!! Just needs to be left out to it can be spread easier. Poached eggs were the only egg option on the full english, they tasted very vinegary, they must be cooked using vinegar. We weren't happy to pay the 12.5% service charge that was added and the waitress turned a little dismissive when we asked to not pay it. Parking is pay & display on the road outside so allow some extra pennies to pay for parking. It Limited our time to 1 hour at £2.10

Terrible service. To my 85 year old parents for a coffee and food. Monica was in charge and the staff seemed cranky scared of her. Sat us outside and it immediate started to thunder and lightning and terrestrial rain. 7 tables inside so we politely asked if we could more inside as our food and drinks had not arrived. The server asked Monica who said no. As water dripped down my mums back we scurried to a table inside for shelter. Monica immediately came over and said the table is booked and we would need to move back outside. We waited for our food for 50mins. Eventually we asked how the food was doing (no one had come to many of the empty table's including the one we grabbed) We were told other guests had been prioritised and that ours had not been started. We could either cancel the order or wait another 10+ minutes. Absolutely disgusting. No people skills with staff or customers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS On a seperate note there was a lovely van they have outside serving snacks and drinks. Sadly no one was serving and flies were all over the uncovered food 😳

Family of four not booked so walk in, super friendly and helpful staff. Lovely vibe to the place and we were able to sit outside. Simple menu with a choice of burgers, fantastic pizza’s, fish and chips, steak etc. Highly recommend if you want a relaxed atmosphere, great for kids.

Emma's attention to detail was impeccable, and she made my partner's birthday extra special with thoughtful decorations and a surprise birthday pancakes that truly exceeded our expectations!!! He loved it. Was such a good start to his day. If you're looking for a restaurant with inviting staff, exceptional service, and a memorable atmosphere, I highly recommend Lazy Jacks. Our experience, thanks to Emma and the rest of the team, was nothing short of amazing. Came back after a great experience last time - though this time for cocktails with friends. Vibe was lively and as usual staff were vey nice. Pretty new menus with lots of options for the veggies of the group! Didn't plan on ordering food however this changed our mind and we ended up ordering some pizzas to share which were great! As a family of 4 on a 4 night holiday, we ate at Lazyjacks twice. Cocktail was good, pizzas are delicious and the steak and chips was good. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Isn’t the cheapest place with pizzas around £18 but we went twice so it was obviously worth it 👍🏻

Easy relaxed restaurant in Sandbanks with a decent menu and well cooked food. Staff are lovely and is both family and dog friendly.

£12.75 seems high for a large glass of red, London prices. Food was ok but the wine seemed extortionate plus 12.5% service charge.

We had the most incredible meal at LazyJacks. I can’t remember having such a great burger in years, the Pizza was also lovely. Being new to Sandbanks I was looking for a relaxed local restaurant and found the perfect one in Lazy Jack’s. I’m still working my way through the menu but so far everything I have been served has been great! Really tasty food made with quality...

A hidden gem, tucked around the corner from Rick Steins in Panarama Road. Was made welcome immediately, water on table straight away. Staff very pleasant, nothing wasted much trouble. Was told of the special pizza on offer that day which my husband had (beef brisket)...

Just after jet skiing- a lovely steak and chips. Chips crunchy, steak succulent, and salad fresh - just what we needed!

A group of eight of us visited for lunch before heading on to another event. The food and service was excellent. Highly recommend. IT's slight off the beaten path which is a good thing. I've been before for Sunday roast and that was excellent too....

A great spot for cocktails and a more casual lunch than the other options in Sandbanks (Highly recommend the Caprese). Fun decor and vibe, very friendly font of house staff and manager! A must stop when visiting sandbanks.

Great place very disappointing breakfast , ordered the full English for £13.50 and was Luke warm and very small portions and a thimble of baked beans don’t understand why they would serve this when South Deeps breakfast is huge for the same price. Shame as great staff.

Breakfast took too long, hard poach eggs, toast was burnt and had to be sent back, understand that it's Sandbanks but portion size too small and not reflected in the price. Staff attentive and polite. Have had lunch here before and it's been great but breakfast didn't live up to it. Will come back again for lunch/dinner only.

Very disappointing. Apart from one waitress who left during our time there, the service was very poor and lackadaisical. After ordering drinks we were told that only pizzas were available, even for the children. He said this detail was on their website, looked at various...

Good food and great atmosphere, in a choice location. Have been many times and can strongly recommend. Only issue: there are no soft drinks on the menu. When we ordered a lemonade, they took this as an opportunity to charge £6 for one glass, which was disappointing.
