Found this place by chance after leaving another restaurant due to rotten service. So glad we did! We hadn't booked so didn't fancy our chances, but we were given a table up the steep spiral staircase. I had the beef rendang and my husband had the chicken curry, we shared chicken gyoza. The food was amazing, so tasty and the portion sizes were very very generous! Reasonably priced wine and fantastic service! The staff were really friendly and obviously took pride in the food they served!! Will most definitely be back!!

First visit before a theatre show to test their Laksa, pleasant enough, service, quality and price. A noisy ground floor area, so go up the steep spiral staircase to a souless first floor, but enjoy your meal in this calmer space. The toilets are another pair of steep stairs so the restaurant is best for the nimble. Can't fault it, it is what it is, rather dsab building but in the heart of historic Soho. I will go back if I want another Chinese quick eat.

Busy vibrant Malaysian restaurant in central Soho. We had booked a 5pm meal pre theatre. My daughter's and my first time but well known to the friends I went with. Simple unpretentious surroundings, friendly staff. The four of us shared two starters, the chicken gyaza and a papaya salad, very tasty followed by two chicken curries and one classic laska. Absolutely delicious, very generous portions! Nice bottle of Rose to accompany. Very reasonably priced, would definitely return an be happy to recommend.

Went here with my son and daughter on a Saturday evening. We all thought the food was really good. Very tasty and decent size portions. We did feel that we were hurried out when we had finished eating, but we didn’t really mind. Times are hard for the hospitality industry, Saturday is a busy night and we can understand that they need the quick turnaround to make a profit. My daughter has been here midweek, and she says it’s different then. I would definitely eat here again.

Loved the food - brought back memories of Malaysia ! It was a cosy little spot in Soho and a hidden gem. The menu featured great selections of the cuisine and everything we ordered and from looking at the other tables looked great and our food was delicious. The prices were alright given the location. Great attentive service from our servers. Would highly recommend the laksa - and coming back for that especially for those cold winter days !

Looking for a quick mid afternoon bite we found here amongst many eateries on this street. Very small Malaysian restaurant with a decent menu and, for the area, fair prices. We decided to share king oyster mushrooms and chicken satay small plates alongside a pad Thai. All flavoursome, though mushrooms didn’t quite work for me (bad choice rather than bad food). Service was efficient and the food arrived quickly as the place only had one other table taken when we arrived. Shame a hefty 12.5% service charge is added and no feeling it was optional.

Really disappointed when visiting tonight. Prime location and looks lovely but I feel underwhelmed from my whole experience. Shocked at the price too. £91 for 3 starters and two mains and 2 vodka diet cokes The rice dish I had was so bland. Nesi Goran. I had to season myself with salt and pepper and ask for soy sauce as well. The chicken was sparse, and what was on offer in the dish protein wise was slim pickings Beef rendang was almost like a desecrated coconut curry and didn’t resemble what it should be. I just feel feel bad because this is not the food that’s advertised and it’s not even about the money, we both just wanted a nice meal whilst in London. And the certainly did not offer that.

Able to get a walk in table for two last night, the food and cocktails (2-4-£15) were really good. Tiny little restaurant but well staffed so we didn’t wait or want for anything. Casual decor, a bit of a holiday vibe especially with the loud upbeat music. A great find. Two main courses and drinks plus service £54, bargain especially in this part of town.

Story time. In London as crazy as it may sound, there isn’t a “lack” of Malaysian restaurants but as far as commercial central choices there is a handful. This place towards the end of lockdown 2.0 opened and it was a personal milestone to go try it. It’s deeply inherent to the reviewer as his ethnic background is Malaysian Indian. The right balance of tasty Malaysian treats in terms of chicken lollipops and roti was struck. When your mum and her sisters tell you how difficult it is ti make “proper” rotai - take note. It feels like the frozen palm oil versions but it isn’t- which works really well for everybody who comes! It’s a nice balance given we are in the heart of soho What is also quite different is the vibe - almost a Thai electronic party on a beach … but a small restaurant serving great food. A second visit to see how they do one or two more dishes. I wish this place all its success Vs rasa, Gopals etc

Delicious, unfussy, great value Malay cuisine made and served with pride. Spicy but not ferocious, fresh ingredients well cooked. The Roti Canai (flatbreads served with a mild curry dip) were a wonderful starter, and really got the juices flowing. The spring rolls were hot, crispy and flavourful. I had the Mie Goreng - noodles, beansprouts, king prawns and squid in a spicy sauce. My first experience of Malasian food. It certainly won't be my last! My wife had the Nasi Goreng Kampung - fried rice with king prawns, chicken, green beans and spinach all topped with a fried egg. Neither of us left a scrap on our plate. The price (for Soho) was extremely good vslue and the service superb. Highly recommended.

Fui a desayunar. Mucho a mucho. Este lugar no es para mi. Buen café sin embargo.
