Super chic, beautiful decor, we opted for an espresso at the bar as Italians ourselves, magnificent coffee, excellent experience, best £6.60 we spent ever!

Superb , efficient and very friendly (sometimes a bit too over the top) service, wonderful location. Extensive menu of coffee and food. A very Hip vibe !!! Freshly squeezed orange juice, special pistachio cappuccino and toast with avocado. All superb. A tad pricey at £30.38p…. But definitely recommend.

In cerca di un caffè decente a Londra capitiamo per caso in questo bellissimo locale, che sembra una boutique più che un bar, poco distante da Soho. La proposta è molto varia, ma da italiani siamo alla ricerca di un semplice espresso fatto bene. Aspettative rispettate, molto apprezzato altresì cioccolatino e bicchierino d'acqua; ci sono inoltre italiani nel personale, in modo tale da poter essere seguiti al meglio, lo stesso è accogliente e cortese. I prezzi ovviamente sono abbastanza alti, ma in linea al contesto. Consigliato a chi cerca un buon caffè.

No service, understaffed. Sat down with menus and waited for 15/20 minutes - nothing. Not much point in having a flagship store with an expensive fit out if there is no service.

When I visit Torino I go to bars using Lavazza beans because when you're in Italy you have a very good idea what to expect from a Lavazza espresso. So when I discovered that Lavazza had opened a 'Flagship Store' in central London I thought it would be a good idea to experience a bit of Torino a little closer to home. I was wrong. The experience is nothing like the everyday Italian experience, though the store did remind me of another Flagship Store, which I didn't like, on Piazza S. Fedele, Milano. So is it fair to give such a low rating? On the plus side, my espresso was really well made and my plain croissant was also very nice, my affogato was excellent, the store was clean and stylish and the staff were all very pleasant. On the minus side, there were two blends of bean available, neither of which I've ever seen in Italy and neither to my taste - I like a dark roast without floral, stone fruit or citrus notes and use Lavazza Gran Espresso beans at home, having tasted them at a bar in Genova Brignole station. I was told my first choice of a vegan raspberry croissant wasn't available, the cinnamon roll contained nuts which my wife doesn't like, but this wasn't indicated on the menu and her cappuccino came sprinkled with cocoa powder, hardly the norm in Italy, presented without giving her the choice whether or not to have cocoa. The affogato took almost 30 minutes to arrive. I was surprised to be asked if I wanted a single or double espresso shot, even though a single shot is the norm in Italy, which prompted me to conclude that the store wasn't attempting to provide Londoners with a genuine Italian experience which I'd describe as single shot espresso based coffee, consumed rapidly at the bar with or without brioche before heading off to work in the morning or even the leisurely coffee with a pastry in the afternoon, waiting for the shops to reopen after lunch. It was a hybrid of a US third wave coffee chain and Italian style, without the laptops but with better pastries and even higher prices, aimed at the tourist market. It's pretentious, with three different areas for different experiences. It's special with matching premium prices, not everyday. You have to queue to be seated so I don't know if I could have had a coffee standing at the bar because I found the set-up really confusing. There were a couple of other things that detracted from the experience. Our initial table was in the south-facing window where the light and heat quickly became intolerable, though we were eventually asked if we'd like to move (while I was waiting for my affogato); I was informed that there was no hook for a bag inside of the toilet cubicles and that the toilet seat was broken in one of the women's WCs but I have to report that the men's toilet was clean. It could be so good if it stuck to the basics and offered different blends or styles of coffee as extras but I guess that wouldn't be 'flagship'. It's not my experience of Italian coffee houses (I prefer a station bar to Torino's Gerla 1927 for example) and I won't be going back. There's even an unpretentious Illy brand caffè a little further along Regent Street...

Just the best coffee and pastries in London. I had the Americano and pain raisin - both perfetto. I had to return the next day for the same. This beautiful cafe is in a great section of London, near Oxford Circus, across the street from Liberty Of London.

*Would not recommend* Horrible Service & Illegal/Unethical Payment Practices The service was incredibly bad. The waiter was clueless. He challenged me about wanting oat milk in my coffee, asking me very personal questions about my preference and how milk would affect my body. He told me it would be easier for him if I drank regular milk because he was new at his job. An hour later, the waiter interrupted our conversation to very matter-of-factly ask us about our ethnicities. When we answered, he said “OK” and walked off(?). After our food was done, a waitress told us to either order more food or pay the bill and leave as they wanted to make more money from other customers. The same sentiment could have been communicated in a customer-friendly language. When we agreed to pay the bill and leave, we told the waiter we wanted the bill to be split so we each paid for what we ate and drank. He said he understood, then brought a bill wrongly split into two random halves. When we explained this wasn’t what we wanted, he said he now couldn’t re-enter the bill, so we’d have to pay it that way, then send each other money. When I said other restaurants/cafes always did this for their customers, he called over the aforementioned waitress, who barked: “Aren’t you close friends? Why can’t you sort it out between you later?!”. When I told her she couldn’t ask us about the private details of our friendship and we wanted to pay for what we’ve eaten, she called over her manager. The manager said their payment system was sub-par and the bill they entered could not be re-split. When we said we wanted the service charge taken off, as the service was horrid, they again said they couldn’t do this, which is ILLEGAL. They made us pay as they wished to split it, with the service charge. We left regretting going and paying more than the food we ate.

Café quelconque avec des prix élevés. Si vous aimez le café italien et même si Lavazza est bien une marque de café italien, je vous conseille de passer votre chemin. Forget it, unless you don't really mind to drink a bad and expensive coffee.

Very crowded, had to sit at the counter. Very good service though, nice coffee. I would ask the manager to wear a tie. I would go again.

Beautiful pistachio latte. Small chocolate on the side to nibble on. Helpful staff. Managed to get a seat in a nice cosy corner.

Booked DINNER in restaurant. When arrived seated in coffee shop and only menu was cake and coffee. We should have been told they weren't doing food. Had overpriced bottle of wine and brownie that was hard as a rock, tasteless and stale. One of the worse "restaurants" in London. Staff are ALL absolutely rude, unprofessional and lazy. Horrible evening!!!

So upset off 😤,totally useless service ignored by staff & not given a table....but others came in & got seated...there were no bookings. Finally found ourselves a table & ignored ,Finally ordered Expresso cocktails & wanted 15 minutes.....had to ask Manager where are drinks were he was very rude & said we were only waiting 5 minutes....total LIAR. The guy big build manager doesn't deserve to be front of house. He said drinks coming but after further 5 minutes we left... BAD service never going again.. This is supposed to be FLAGSHIP STORE.

If you want a cheap cup of coffee, go to a supermarket. If you want a really high-end Italian experience, come here and savour every moment. The level of investment in this almost palatial space is astonishing. Everything is from Italy, even down to the paper napkins which feel like silk (an amazing detail). The bronze bar, lighting installation worthy of Tate Modern and all the smaller details are perfect. The seating is by Manerba - think Bo-Concept or Natuzzi. The staff are trained (hurrah), highly skilled and know how to talk to people. Needless to say the coffees and croissants were superb in every way and expertly served. Thank you Maria and all your colleagues who made us feel special.

Pleasantly surprised with the offering here. I popped in after I was too early for Liberty and I was impressed with the quality of the coffee. Setting is lovely , staff really friendly and I thought a reasonable price.

Pausa pomeridiana prima di entrare da Liberty, che si trova di fronte; ovviamente il caffè è tra i migliori a Londra, le monoporzioni di dolce (per noi triple chocolate) nella media, professionale il servizio (soprattutto uno dei ragazzi italiani con cui ci siamo fermati a chiacchierare). Il locale è molto bello, al I piano piano la vetrata ha una vista su Great Marlborough molto piacevole, vale almeno una visita, per respirare un po' di Italia.

Do not stay there "too long" or one of the managers will ask you to leave. 🤷 It seems that they do not have enough tables available and every minute matters. Please support this business and go there only if you are in a hurry.

I recently visited Lavazza and was blown away by the exceptional service and delicious food. Linda was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations that enhanced our experience. The seating is the same height as the tiny tables so you have to bend over to drink your coffee. Eating is even harder. The tables are very close together so there is no privacy, you are almost hundles together with other people. Very loud...

Relaxed but elegant atmosphere, delicious coffee and the cannoli was 100% authentic. A bit pricey but totally worth the visit.

Heard about the flagship store just off oxford street so decided to check it out. Wasn't disappointed! Staff were friendly and professional. The coffee was really nice as was the seating area and general look of the place.
