Nice and friendly serving a descent fish and chips. Food and drinks fairly priced all on the beach front and as a bonus free parking if you get there early enough.

Excellent fish and chips, really fresh tasting. Friday evening fire show is well worth seeing, if the wind and tide permit it to go ahead.

Stopped for a burger by the beach with my son, best burger in a while. Good service. Staff are welcoming and great prices too. Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because I only visited once; when I'm back in Walton I will definitely visit again and no doubt I'll change my review to 5 stars. Happy Customer.

We just had chips. They were very nice chips, however the portions weren't very generous.

Sorry to only give 1 star as the people running it are super welcoming and friendly. BUT…the food is absolutely dire and overpriced. We had two kids meals (chicken nuggets/ sausage with chips), a chicken burger, some onion rings, and a battered sausage with chips. Now I wouldn’t expect the world from a beach-front café shack, but I’d at least expect it to be edible. The chicken was reformed, frozen rubbish, the kind you’d likely find in Iceland and debate whether it was actually chicken. The sausages (again debatable whether they’d previously been a pig) and onion rings were literally dripping with oil…and the chips, again cheap/ Iceland quality, were utterly tasteless. This, with three soft drinks, for just shy of £30, simply ridiculous. We couldn’t eat most of it, it was that bad, so our lunch sat on the sand just ended with 2 hungry kids and disappointment, avoid at all costs!

It's lovely, right on the beach. Sells food drinks etc. Staff friendly, some tables and chairs on the sand, sea in front of you... Beautiful!

The people were friendly and helpful. The chips fresh and hot however they were completely tasteless and so didn't enjoy them very much. If it hadn't been for the condiments it would have been even blander

What a wonderful find. Had a recce at Walton-on-the-Naze late this afternoon looking for suitable fishing marks and happened upon the very friendly proprietors and staff. Came away with some crisps, and boxes of prehistoric sharks teeth, of all things. Thank you for the advice and info. An exceptional credit to a wonderful seaside town - will be back with my daughters ASAP!

Really lovely day spent at their beach hut which we hired. Late availability for Good Friday and we were made very welcome in the hut which has a beach facing aspect. Wind breakers, parasol and kids beach toys were included along with a table and chairs and deckchairs. We used the cafe for refreshments too, which were also very good. We will hire the hut again and definitely come back to the cafe which has outside seating looking out to the sea.

Lovely little Cafe. Good seaside food for all the family and reasonably priced. Food is cooked to order but worth the wait. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Definitely stop by again.

Rubbish! We are local to Walton-on-the-Naze and had friends visiting. We spoke to the owners to pre pay for breakfast sandwiches for three mornings...not a great reception and just told us to come and order on the day... First day, no bread and only hamburger buns...Second day, no bread at all! This is £40 in their pockets guaranteed and it’s as if we are bothering them! In these uncertain times give your money to struggling businesses that want to serve customers....avoid the Last Fisherman!!

Fish was so oily. It was like eating oil with oily chips. Absolutely disgusting. Staff, rude 😒. Don't go there, if you don't want to have upset tammy. DISGUSTING, ABSOLUTELY DISSATISFIED. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE DISSASTER. FULL STOP.

Took ages to get served. The chips weren't proper chip shop chips,frozen chips, and the fish was full of bones. Won't be going back

Good service and nice chips but the coffee was boiling hot and i was not able to drink it for around an hour which is a joke.

This place has been there for years.I remember getting ice creams from here when I was about 5. Happy memories. I have never had hot food from here so I can't comment on the quality.

When we visited the cafe they were out of the food we had ordered. Drinks are expensive and the chips don't look nice.

These guys are so friendly and helpful, went there on Monday when the weather was awful, there card machine had broken so they gave the hot drinks to me and the kids free, which was well needed and much appreciate !

Cafe' and fish and chip restaurant right on the beach. Cheap and cheerful! They organise a great fire spinning show on holiday Friday evenings on the beach at twilight.

Chips aren't the best but they're edible. Fish has loads of bones so small kids beware. Slightly pricey for what it is but not the worst I've ever had. Staff are friendly though.

It was a lovely little cafe with a wide variety of drinks and snack stuffs. It's very close to the seafront and as well as food and drink, there are lovely souvenirs such as painted sea shells and magnets and you can buy inflatables to be used on the beach. Overall, very lovely.

Had a very nice cod and chips at The Last Fisherman Cafe today - the cod was very fresh and the batter perfect. It also came with a mixed salad and coleslaw. Would thoroughly recommend a meal, and the price was about right too.

Tasteless chips. And ketchup like vinegar.. don't bother!! Watched them today.. they reheated donuts and used there hands for collected money then handling food.. ugh!

OMG. We have been coming to Walton on the Naze for years and its still my highlight having a fish supper here. Great food. Great location.
