Have visited multiple times over the last few years. (Scared wasp lady) Last year we visited Looe just to come to this place. The owner is fantastic and always makes you feel welcome. One holiday we visited everyday for the crepes and affogato (served the Japanese way). I’ve just seen that this place has now closed and we’re deeply saddened. I hope the owner is well and is doing bigger and better things. Thankyou for the crepes and coffee ❤️.

The most perfect and secret eatery. Yet while maintaining its Tudor character, it is an escape from the tourist agenda. The most gorgeous and perfect refreshments, and the chef Martin the most pleasant and creative individual. Love his tin signs decorating his shop like a gallery, and I will contribute one so with my promise watch for the postman! Next time in Looe we will return, as the best compliment anyone can pay on TripAdvisor is not fancy words, but to actually return x

Our daughter was intrigued by this quirky little crepe house and so we visited for late breakfast today. It's a truly delightful place and the owner was really great company. I had Russian tea with lemon, and the hot chocolate was declared to be the best ever. We all had crepes, which were lovely. It's always great to find original places and this one is really quite special. I would highly recommend it!

Looking for a cosy, quirky place serving delicious hot drinks: then look no further. It is small and cosy but has a great menu of hot and cold drinks and light meals including crepes. Today we warmed up with hot chocolate and Grand Marnier and a coffee with Baileys. The cafe is named after the artist Carl Larsson

We stumbled across this little gem while trying to find somewhere to shelter from the rain and wind. It is simply magical! A wide selection of crepes, both sweet and savoury, coffee etc. We had Calypso Coffees (hoping the Tia Maria would warm us up),my partner had a magnificent apple strudel crepe and I had a chorizo panini. We enjoyed not only the food and drinks, but also the ambience. Highly recommended. Just bear in mind it is a tiny place so perhaps not great for large groups. For the two of us it was perfect.

Although we have been travelling to Looe for many years, we only recently discovered this little gem of a place. Although very small, the atmosphere is friendly and the owner always chatty. Between us, we have now sampled a variety of the waffles and crepes on offer and have never been disappointed. As they are all cooked fresh, they are some of the best I have ever tasted. However, as they are all cooked fresh to order, and the kitchen is relatively small (I believe the crepes have to be cooked one at a time), there can sometimes be a slight wait if it is busy, and the food is not brought out together. This is not an issue but something to be aware of. The food is certainly worth the wait!A definite place to visit if you are in or near Looe.

Although he was polite and very sorry to be told they were so busy when they were not completely full doesnt give an air of coping.I will be fair after we said we wouldnt wait he did in all kindness waive the charge for our teas....sorry has to be said if you choose to run a business in a busy place like Looe you must be expected to deal with the customer traffic.Again i will say he was polite but not impressed with young girl there ignoring us 3 times - not.professionalIts a shame as we were looking forward to sampling the crepes but obv cant comment on food but as said the smell of burning didnt enforce that.

After asking twice how much longer we would need to wait, 45 minutes later the food arrived. No apology for the delay. Tasted gorgeous but staff were oblivious to the wait. Wow are we glad we found this little gem ⭐️ We were looking for Crepes & spotted the little sign & were pleasantly surprised by the quality of dishes served 😀 We saw a family having amazing waffles & ice cream with caramel biscoff, another the pancake maple bacon stack and we choose one savoury garlic mushrooms 🍄 & one lemon n sugar which were delicious 😋 and complimented with a great size cup if tea 🍵 Worth sitting inside for on a sunny day as not much outside seating. Very friendly server, good value & hoping to get there again before we leave Thankyou 🥰

Fabulous food and great service, will definitely go again when visiting Penzance. Have wanted to go for a couple of years but never made it, well worth the wait and more than met our expectations.

Had seen the restaurant advertised as 3 AA rosette but have since found out that is under review due to change of chef. Restaurant was dimly lit with nearby table resorting to using torch on his phone to read menu. Had the scallops which were average and small . Pork was okay as main course but not a large portion. Cheeseboard was average. Was expecting more from what was a listed restaurant.

An excellent evening at One Polkist Hill. A delightful place to eat with friends. The food was so good and well presented. A small restaurant with lots of character. The staff were friendly and attentive.. What more could you want,

What a fantastic place for our celebratory meal. We were on holiday, staying just up the road, and saw this restaurant in a review. I am especially drawn to food flavours, quality and presentation, and Edie's met my need 100%. Service was perfect, thank you nameless person doing up your house, you also helped to make the evening special. I will not recommend a specific dish because when we next pass we will definitely return to eat here and try a different combination. Thoroughly recommend, visit is often as you can.
