Lara's Caffeteria in Islington

I had an amazing pizza here the other night. Can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are great and there is a lovely terrace out back.

We went today me and my family and the food was very nice , service too we can’t wait to go back... Grazie Ragazzi

La comida de Lara es deliciosa y casera. Hemos sacado su lasaña, parmesano vegetal y deliciosos cannoli y pasteis de natas (tartas portuguesas). Todo excelente. Su lugar es un acto de clase. Incluso le llevé su cannoli en un vuelo de regreso a Canadá. ¡Sobrevivieron muy bien!

La mejor cafetería acogedora en Finsbury Park y el mejor lugar para reunirse con amigos. Un lugar muy fresco. Lara es fabulosa. El jardín es una delicia. Todo el lugar es muy genuino.

Encontré este lugar y ¡qué delicia! Desayunamos 2 desayunos completos, huevos tostados con cafés. Todo muy bien cocinado y bien presentado. Buen café también! Recomendaría

I've been going here for years and just love the place. The food is awesome - made with fresh Italian ingredients and always delicious. They also do great coffees and juices too. Lara, the owner, is really passionate about what she does and an absolute sweetheart. The waiters and waitresses are always sweet too, although sometimes the service can be a little slow - which just adds to the authentic charm of the place. The prices are really reasonable too. As well as this, it's a really pretty, relaxed space and they have good wifi - I sometimes come here and spend a morning drinking coffee, eating breakfast and doing work. If you're vegetarian like me than you'll love their veggie breakfast - seriously one of the best I've had in London, the baked beans are even homemade! If you live in the area and hadn't visited then you really need to.

Relaxing cafe with a great courtyard and traditional Italian food, feels like home! Had the Lara’s pasta dish which isn’t exactly brunch but it was delish.

Ho scoperto questa caffetteria quasi per caso. Lara è davvero una persona squisita, la sua caffetteria è una chicca con specialità italiane. Ho davvero apprezzato che ci fossero scelte vegane per la colazione, da intollerante al lattosio spesso fatico a trovare qualcosa da mangiare quando sono all’estero. Torneremo sicuramente.

We had lunch here and sat in the beer garden which was lovely. I definitely recommend this restaurant - great food, very friendly staff and very reasonably priced.

My son and I stopped off for lunch yesterday and were very pleased with the menu and quality of the food served. My son had a focaccia pollo sandwich and I had a tomato and mozzarella salad - both delicious. Coffee excellent and brilliant service.

Stranded in London yesterday having flown into Heathrow Thursday night, we stumbled across Lara’s by accident. The staff were so friendly and the food was excellent. Value for money was excellent too.

I pop into LARA'S on a weekly basis or when in the area. The food is good and at a reasonable price. Busy and staff are polite. Been to a few cafes in the area but find this one is the best.

The food was exactly how described in the menu. No thrills and the food was fine. The service was well above the food. I would go there for another bite.

Mi amigo y yo vine aquí para una cena temprana. Ambos tuvimos pasta que constan de pancetta, vodka y salsa de tomate, era tan delicioso. El tamaño de la porción era perfecta. El personal, en especial una chica con pelo rubio fue muy atento y nada era demasiado para sus clientes. También se esfuerzan por ofrecerle agua del grifo, que viene con menta, se le pregunta si como menta antes de recibirlo. Recomiendo encarecidamente que ir y probar.

Mi nuevo favorito italiano cafe/cafetería en Finsbury Park. Maravillosa casera simple cocina italiana y un café perfecto. Un personal atento y un ambiente acogedor, relajado. Mis favoritos en este momento -el excepcional casa hizo lasaña y la Insalata di pollo y el inglés - Italiano desayuno completo. Los precios son muy razonables. Yo volveremos pronto!

My new favourite Italian cafe/coffee shop in Finsbury Park. Wonderful home cooked, unfussy Italian cuisine and perfect coffee. Attentive staff and a relaxed welcoming vibe. My favourites at the moment - the exceptional home made Lasagne and the Insalata di pollo. Very reasonable prices too....

Piccolo angolo di casa a Londra semplicemente fantastico. Consigliatissimo il menù del giorno e le deliziose specialità della padrona di casa. Complimentissimi per l'accoglienza e il servizio.

A menudo a Lara si estoy en la zona, incluyendo la de hoy. La mayoría de los almuerzos para una ciabatta o pasta. Tuvimos el ravioli de calabaza y gorgonzola y salami y queso brie ciabatta. Muy buena y un montón de sabor. He tenido varias pastas y pasteles aquí y no me ha decepcionado. Es un buen precio para lo que te dan siempre mucho para elegir y caseras.

Realmente agradable servicio, simple no mucho. Los italianos están a cargo de ella, lo que está guay en una trattoria e caffetteria Italiana. Compré unas galletas la que uso para el tiramisú. No es tan caro comparado con otros marcas. ¡Lo recomiendo!

El salmón estaba recocido y nadar en no es una buena salsa. La ensalada, que supongo que se suponía que tenía que hacer la comida saludable nadar en una gran cantidad de un no muy buen vestidor. El En resumen: volver a lo básico y ser escueta tanto con salsa y vestidor.

The best italian in London...the food is amazing..lasagna,focaccia,scaloppina all very good and true Italian.I recommend this place is very good and cheap!

Locale davvero carino, ci si sente a casa, prodotti genuini, si può magaire da panini a delizioni primi piatti, come lo spezzatino con riso. Personale cordiale e davvero gentile, finalmente a pranzo concluso un Caffè con la "C" maiuscola.

Visited Laras for breakfast lovey italian coffee with lovey pastries staff were very friendly and efficient nice atmosphere.

I love this cafe and try to visit it whenever I am in Finsbury Park. The food is good, rustic Italian. Lara is always very welcoming and the cafe is pleasant and comfortable. There is a small outdoor seating area at the rear - a lovely quiet place for a sunny day. Children are always welcome and well-catered for. As its name suggests it is a cafe rather than a restaurant.

Had breakfast here, it was greasy and processed. Nothing tasted fresh. Although the full English was only £5.50, but I'd prefer to pay a bit more to have a decent breakfast. The staff, who I presume were the owners also made us feel very unwelcome and the service was abysmal, we had to continually get up and ask to order, for cutlery, for more toast. We left kind of annoyed, as this place used to be lovely, but since it's been taken over its somewhere I won't visit again.

Finally a good italian caffetteria here in Finsbury. Been here for breakfast and had to try the fantastic pastry shown by the window. They have a garden at rear which is perfect for enjoying your drink-meal in the sun.

Great Italian food cooked by a lovely Italian staff. Everything is homemade. Little garden outside is nice in the summer. Good healthy portions.
