Disgusting meat so so greasy waste of money never go back was third time and last , stick to me melia

We had take away at this place. The food was very tasty. The portions were big. The price was reasonable. We will definitely return to this place.

I love Lara Grill and had been coming to your venue for years, my most recent expertness was booked for my mothers 60TH birthday, a lady whom does not go out much and whom I wanted to make feel special. I booked via the website, Wordpress booking system, for a table at 9.30pm, it was approved, email confirmation and reminders received. I had noted the special occasion and if we could have a dessert and candles brought out for after our meal, which hasn’t been an issue previous occasions and for friends who have had meals at Lara grill, however this was completely ignored. Upon arrival, 9:20, I said I had a reservation and the gentleman whom greeted us looked confused and laughed in my face. He said you don’t, and proceeded to ask me how did I book. I said on your website through the options available. He said we don’t bother checking this, to my horror and embarrassment. They said we can seat you, but you have to be done at 10 for closing, our meal was rushed, the service was horrible and we did not feel welcomed. Even had the nerve to add the discretionary service charge upon bill and yet you don’t acknowledge my request or bother looking on your own booking system. My mum had a terrible experience and felt awful and rushed. Not to mention I had to keep asking for drinks and a treat at the end which never came. We spent £120 and I am absolutely disgusted at that and i want to now share this because the fact they didn’t do anything to rectify or say sorry they shouldn’t be in that industry. Don’t waste your money.

Way to expensive for what u get and it didn’t use to be this expensive way would anybody pay 20 pound for a mixed Shish is beyond me.

i visited Lara Grill with my partner on Saturday. We managed to get a late booking which was convenient, and we were seated as soon as we arrived. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I had the Halloumi and Falafels with rice and salad, whilst my partner opted for King Prawns with rice and salad. Both of us were very happy with our food. The salad was particularly nice, as well as the rice. The halloumi and falafels were cooked perfectly and were complimented by a delicious houmous. Bread was also served to us before our meal as an appetiser along with a spicy dip and a garlic aioli. I would recommend this restaurant whole-heartedly and will visit again. Parking is available in the Iceland car park next door, but you do have to pay via an app once you get in the restaurant. It isn't expensive though.

The food is absolutely delicious. Price is very reasonable as the portions are large. The bread is very tasty. Can recommend this place.

We have been regular customers for years, sometimes popping in at least twice a week but since covid etc. and their refurb have noticed the prices have gone up a ridiculous amount! Our meal last night as usual was very good but was shocked at the bill and also surprised to find they now include the service charge which is not the usual 10% but 12%. Unfortunately now will only use on special occasions due to the price hike!

Fantastic staff, amazing food, have been here a few times now and service and quality has always been the same whatever time of day. Catering for large functions is never a problem, always have atleast 10. Would recommend for a family event.

We went lunch time.realy enjoyed the food.not rushed. We had the hot starters .plenty of varity and then chicken shish with rice and salad. Will be back to try other food on menu.

Been coming here for years and it was always really good food and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the last 2 years they have succumb to their own success.. £40 for 2 people is quite expensive for a takeaway and the food is not as good as it used to be now that they have become an Uber Eats kitchen.. the chicken was really dry, not marinated for as long as it used to be and cooked on a higher heat to get it cooked more quickly, the chips were soggy and the rice was overcooked.. Another couple of years like this and I think their cards are marked! I hope not as I really like this place, but I probably won’t visit again for a while.

Take Away Heaven. This id definitely the best Turkish grill in.this part of London. The food is truly amazing. Five Star ⭐️ However, word of warning. Used Uber Eats for delivery and almost fell off my chair when i realised how much extra i paid. probably around 80% more. I would advise people to order directly from Lara Grill and then go and pick it up yourself.

I have Visited Lara Grill on a few occasions can get very busy , service is good and food is excellent , I always have lamb chops , comes with rice or chips , get side salad dips & bread £15 , highly recommend.

I have been with friends on numerous occasions and the food is absolutely amazing. I had salmon and my friend had seabass They go the extra mile and take all the bones out which makes eating the fish much more enjoyable.. The manager came over Mehmet and spoke to us even though he was exceptionally busy. Our food came very quickly and he told me the fish is delivered on a daily basis. That would explain the exquisite taste and freshness of the fish. I have tried many other turkish restaurants and they dont compare to the price and quality and customer service I always receive from Lara Grill. This is definitely my regular spot. My friends also agree with me.

We use to dine in all the time but recently feel safer just getting a takeaway. The staff are great, excellent customer service. The food is delicious both eat in and takeaway. We normally get the Lara mix grill, lahmacun and yoghurtlu chicken shish and every time we have not been disappointed so fresh and tasty.For the first time this week I decided to try the grilled king prawns and I can honestly say they were delicious.Great ambience, great food. Would definitely recommend going.

This is the 1st time we have eaten here...Amazing service nd the food is outstanding We had king prawns, halloumi nd sausage nd limerchan to start nd for the main we had the mixed grill for 2/3...here was so much we even brought some home... They use to be really good before, then they became bigger, and the quality dropped. On two occassion, i ordered a delivery and both times i was not happy, first time it was the dessert...it was not sweet and looked like it had been made a few days ago, 2nd delivery was today and they did not complete the order and missed some items out. I am happy to accept these mistakes if the food was free...but when you pay for it and there are mistakes then thats very annoying. I wont be ordering from them again. If you guys order from them i suggest you check your order before accepting it at the door.

Had a great takeaway. Lots and lots of really nice food and the staff were as friendly as ever. So tasty we ate the lot and made friends with a local Tom Cat who loved it too. All round winner 😀

This was our first visit to the Lara Grill, and came on a personal recommendation. It was my husbands birthday so thought as he likes a good Turkish grill this would be a nice way to celebrate. I booked a table which was a total waste of time as the tables are not reserved so we had to wait until a table was ready. Then when our table was ready, we were seated next to the toilets. Now who wants to have their birthday meal sat next to the toilets. On telling the manager his response was “everyone has booked a table”. Sorry not good enough. I personally was ready to leave however my family insisted we persevere. We ordered the Lara Feast. The bread and dips were lovely and the meats and rice cooked well. Another down point had lamb chops but no steak knife which was definitely needed. Waitresses were rushed off their feet so service was inconsistent however appreciated efforts and so rewarded with a tip. The Lara Grill has the potential to be really good but basic service let’s it down. Would I visit again. Maybe as a walk in (where in that case would be happy to sit anywhere) but for a special get together. Definitely NOT.

Great little spot to eat at a decent price. Only real issue is because of where it is located it can be quite difficult to find a parking space.

We went herre as party of 10 (7 adults and three children) for my husbands birthday ona Sunday lunch. We had a really good time with excellent food. The food was delicious and the staff very welcoming and friendly. Lots of choices on the menu - the meze starters were as good as the main meal. The staff even sang happy Birthday to my husband with a slice of cake and a candle. Would certainly go back again.

Went here for family meal, read some reviews that said not that good. But couldn't not go as was birthday. So glad I did has was a nice evening with quality food. Would only advice to get the share deals ,as the single meals seemed a bit expensive for what you got! Lara special was massive for 2. Took half home in metal trays. Iceland carpark is next door for 2hrs £1.

Friendly staff, clean restaurant and facilities, baby friendly , food is good can't fault it. Generally have sish of some sort and not had any complaints after 5 visits except 1 ( food was cooked on black charcoal they did not wait for three coals to turn white which changes the flavour and smell). Which they happily swapped the dish on that occasion

Great food, good service, reasonable prices, had a lovely meal. Bread and dips with salad on the table to start and Turkish tea given at the end complimentary was a nice touch. Only problem is a lot of the desserts on the menu eren't available. If you're not a dessert lover I'd recommend a visit though the chocolate melt in the middle pudding was fabulous it was one of only a few options.

It was a friend's surprise bday. Nice atmosphere, good music, excellent food. Great variety to choose from, very good value for money. Service from the waitress on our table, absolutely amazing. From letting us put up bday ballons, putting our cake in the fridge and even changing our wine glasses when we had another bottle!! I would absolutely recommend this place and will be back next week with work Christmas meal.

Hello everyone, looks like a very good restaurant but let me tell u I got 1 long hair in my rice and 1 short black hair in my salmon in the space of 2 mins, I told manager and he laughed it off, none of the Turkish men working wore gloves beard or hair nets , I told the manager he laughed at me so folks if u want hair go there you will find plenty to complain about

Lovely food would go back every time when near there ! The food was spot on the chicken was excellent cut through it ease !

So I went yesterday and I cut through my chicken cube and found a hair, the restaurant apologised but nothing else was done. Quiet shocking and totally would not record anyone else to go here as there’s no hygiene. God knows how many hairs there was, no flavour in the lamachun! After finding the hair we was still made to pay, you would of thought the two soft drinks would of been complimentary but no. Stay away the best advice I could give.

Had a really lovely meal with the other half very reasonable pricing and the food was amazing! Thus place definitely is a must visit!

We were attending an event in Dagenham and the Gods of travel had conspired to ensure that our plans to make our way into London for lunch would come to naught. What had seemed a curse became a blessing ! With great reluctance we sought the advice of Trip Advisor and fearing the worst we settled on Lara’s Grill. Expectations were low as we arrived but these swiftly were turned around. The beautifully tiled floor spoke of good taste and the decor was understated but elegant. Mehmet led us to our corner table and as the street outside bustled it’s way through a Thursday afternoon, the immediate impact of the ambiance spoke of calmer times to come. Jo’s Cosmo went down a treat and my glass of surprisingly complex Yakut washed away any fears that we would be disappointed by what was to come. As we pored over the menu, the bread served was of top quality and the spicy dip was a massive hit with both of us. Sevara ( Eva to her friends ) assumed service duties and recommended a prawn starter that would prove to be one of the tastiest things I’d ever experienced. Deep flavours of garlic and chilli nursed the succulent prawns to a state of Epic. Jo’s falafel were crisp and tasty and their bed of hummus the perfect accompaniment. I chose the mixed grill of all the great carnivore hits for which this place is rightly regarded. Lamb chops grilled to perfection, chicken and ribs all gloriously meaty and tender. The perfectly seasoned rice was beaten for quality only by the salad, flavoursome and so wonderfully dressed it refracted the light !! Jo’s prawns were huge and juicy and worth the labour of love in peeling them This was all washed down with a bottle of the Yakut. Sevara attended to our every need with gentle scrutiny and her warmth and obvious delight in our positivity were a highlight of the afternoon. The baklava to finish were delicious, sticky yet almost impossibly light. In all, the entire experience was amazing. This establishment deserves every accolade and we can not recommend it highly enough

We've have eaten in the restaurant and had takeaways on a semi regular basis over the years. Never had a single complaint until our recent visit. The majority of the food was delicious, Lamb shish was very tender and the kofte on one was delicious but our guest who has eaten Turkish food in many places, thought their kofte was not right. On comparing it with the nice one it was agreed their kofte fell short of how it should taste. After bringing it to the attention of staff it was taken away with the promise of a fresh one. After an extremely long wait when we had nearly completed our meal the kofte finally appeared, tasting as expected. We were told by two seperate staff members there was nothing wrong with the original!! One if whom had said they tasted it!! What happened to the customer is always right? But to argue with the customer that they've got it wrong. Surely you want your customers to be happy? Extremely unprofessional. Not the way to go about things. As the bill came to over £80 for 4 of us it was extremely disapointing to find not a consideration had been given to our complaint. On reflection goodness knows why we left a tip on top of that too. An otherwise pleasant meal marred. Shame.

It was a very pleasant visit. Came here during the week with the other half and were both welcomed and seated very quickly. We both came in very hungry and had the calamari and prawns for starters and they were amazing. We still can't get over them. For mains we had the chicken platter sharer which was very filling but they were nice enough to let us take the leftovers home. All the staff were very polite and deserve nothing but good credit.
