L'aquila in Bury

We discovered L'aquila a couple of years ago. In my opinion, pound for pound it is possibly the best restaurant in Manchester. Without fail the staff are warm, welcoming and attentive, nothing seems to be too much trouble for them, this helps sustain the relaxed comfortable atmosphere. The menu is reasonably extensive and the food has always been super quality. It is our go to place for a family celebration, we have even eaten there twice on Christmas day and the experience is everything you would want it to be, we will be booking again for this year.

This really is a hidden gem. We have visited L’Aquila a few times now with our family and it really is an amazing restaurant. All the food is delicious and great quality and nothing is too much bother for the team. There is a vast drinks and food menu to choose from and we have always been well looked after. Thanks to Kevin and the team for always looking after us.

Went here last evening, a party of 12 had a family meal for my wife's 70th birthday. Our first visit to L'Aquila but definitely won't be the last. It was a fantastic experience from the very first minute, we were greeted by the friendly staff and had pre dinner drinks in the cocktail lounge. The food and service was outstanding and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I can't thank all the team enough for looking after us so well. Looking forward to our next visit already. Highly recommend.

Amazing family run restaurant. Impeccable service with very knowledgeable staff and attention to detail. Food was amazing and obviously made with authentic ingredients and passion. I would recommend 100% you wont find a better Fillet Steak in Prestwich.

Always our ‘go to’ if we want a great meal. Huge choice on the menu with varied prices, making it perfect for a special occasion or a nice quick lunch. Always great service to top it off. Highly recommended. Special mention to Bianca for exceptional service

Celebrated my wife's 40th birthday in the private room upstairs, there was 30 of us in total and everyone really enjoyed the night, the food all came out together and was really hot, no complaints from anyone, it was all delicious. A special thanks to both Ed and Kev and also to all the staff who looked after us on the night, really could not do enough they were all amazing, so once again thank you for helping make my wife's 40th a night to remember with all her family and friends. We have been here many times before and will definitely be visiting many times in the future, first glass service and food at a reasonable price.
