Great Bar, with plenty of other bars along the road, great when it's raining, your in and out them all, without getting wet.

Brill night from start to finish .

Irish bar maid ,With major attitude asked her for 2 quick pints as we had to be up early tomorrow with an early flight home .She told me to go home I thought she was messing proceeded to ignore me, we just left and went home after. All the rest of the staff where lovely. She walked around with glasses on her head like she owned the place, ( maybe she does) regardless manners costs nothing. Seems to think doing her job is beneath her.

All a bit "stage Irish"... Was with a large group and you could not hear anyone say a word. The Amps must have been turned up full blast totally OTT at 630pm. Bar service was slow and pathetic! Definitely not one to visit. Went elsewhere after 1 drink👎

We were there the weekend and have to say place is great but for the treatment we got from bar staff on Sunday night.. didn't think it was a crime to wave at bar staff to get their attention and was told by what I can only say a very rude girl " I'm not serving you because you waved at me" ... disappointed

Great bar always a friend there

Went to watch the football, champions league, two different games and the multi game. Artist was on playing great tunes. Nice beer at good prices. Really good atmosphere for a Wednesday night.

Always a great atmosphere the lady singer is fab I think she is here most days. It's very loud so conversation can be difficult 🤣🤣

Big, busy Irish sports bar in the city centre. Live music on at the far end. Plenty of tv screens with football on. I had the Guinness. It looked very good when being poured but didn’t taste that good tbh and that is coming from someone who really knows their Guinness. Could have done with an extra person on at the bar.

Pub with live music, highly recommended!

Asked for a Baileys Irish Cream for the missus and was told it came in a 25ml serving instead of the normal 50ml. The arrogant bar staff refused to admit they were wrong, so if you want to be served short measures head down to Lanigans folks. We walked out and went to a proper bar where they know the Weights and Measures Act and confirmed it is served as 50ml unlike these amateurs.

Great Irish pub, with a decent Guinness

I can’t speak for the rest of the year but Dec 31st was terrible. We expected Irish music but the guy was terrible. He was tuneless and loud

A good craic. Excellent music, it really buzzes every evening. Highly recommended. Excellent pint of Guinness.

Horrible anti English songs sang with regularity. So surprised with a bar that is actually in England. Couldn't believe they were allowed to sing the songs they sang.

Super atmosphere in there Friday night. Was there from 8 til about 10. Place was hopping. Shea Mullen was playing

We visited on a very rainy Wednesday afternoon so the place was obviously quite hence 3 stars atmosphere, didn't eat so can't comment- had a decent pint of guiness & moved on - that's it really 😀

Lanigan's bar in Liverpool, located on Ranelagh st, what are cracking pub this is, if you want to see one of the best pubs in Liverpool, then this is it, 200 yards south of the adelphi hotel, and what makes it even better is it beautiful barmaid. Lots of supposed Irish pubs on Ranelagh st, but this pub is the real McCoy and to cap it all,it sells John Smiths -a proper pub!

Irish bar that made it clear they didn't like English people on their territory

I was served by Ally, her customer service was outstanding and she helped me alot to choose a drink which would suit my mood. She was patient and friendly and I'll definitely be returning!

Meet friends for drinks mid week, so wasn't very busy. Good selection of drinks and love music.

£3.50 for a weekday pint of Guinness which had a perfect foam top, and was as smooth as anything. Far better than the £5.40 trash pint I got from Shenanigans two days ago.

We was the only ones in started to fill up when we left

Friendly atmosphere nice bar to visit

Been a few times, it's an Irish bar it does what it says on the tin. Some really odd reviews on here. But I can say any time I am in this bar and travel to Liverpool twice a month alone and it's just like the rest of the Irish bars you meet some really good people. Never had food in it so can't comment. Not that expensive either again not sure what some people are paying for pints where they are from but this is very cheap

It feels that you are in Dublin in a proper Irish pub. Guinness is really good and the Irish music as well. And the Guinness is so cheap. £3.40!

Great place to watch the footy - massive screens and a mix of table sizes for groups. Midweek deals are attractive - 2 pints of Guinness for £6 something 🍻

Personally mixed to be honest but, a beautiful bar with a brilliant variety!! (Photo for reference) There's loads to choose from and I am a fussy drinker. They didn't have my first choice of cider but, from what looks like being an independently owned place, they had something else to offer me and I wasn't disappointed. The views of the place are amazing and really shows the Irish heritage showing famous Irish singers, actors etc. The bar itself is familiar of being back in Ireland which is nice. From being here over the weekend, I have to say the entertainment was amazing and they're getting some brilliant bands in. We've only seen a couple but they got people dancing and moving which is what you want them to do. Personally, a bit on the louder side for me but that's my preference and not against the pub. I can't comment on food as we didn't have any so I'll leave that. Unfortunately, that's where a lot of this ends for the place. I have to say the level of drunkeness is abysmal!! People not being able to physically walk yet still being allowed past the bouncers and allowed to buy drinks at the bar, the management should be ashamed of themselves. They need to go back and redo their alcohol licence course as they clearly don't understand the duty of care managers need to have over their customers. The sheer smell of weed we've smelt over the weekend has been so ridiculous, and I have to say, when did it become legal for people to smoke Vape Pens indoors?? Because the amount of vape smoke blown in our faces has been unreal!! On the 2 occasions we've come down to 'try' and enjoy the live music we've had to leave and been so disappointed because all we're met with is vape smoke and over drunkeness abusing the bands ruining the nights but they seem to be the ones ruling the nights apparently, not the staff and bouncers. Finally, I will speak about the team, to have 7 staff serving 15 people is unheard of!! Being management I am conscious of the cost of running places and to have that many staff is just asking for you to shut the place down! I wouldn't mind having lots of staff but to be just standing at the bar talking to friends and walking away from customers, it's just ignorant and just shows that the team are not trained to talk or deal with customers if they just walk away when one comes to the bar?? Personally, I don't feel comfortable coming back here as I feel all I'll be met with is vape smoke, unrulyness and insubordination. The team needs a massive re train on customer service and the management need to look at their P&L and reassess where they're loosing money!!

One of my favourites pubs in Liverpool, absolutely love to spend my Sundays here, in my little corner by the bar, lovely pint of Guinness, and good selection of Irish Whiskey, Staff is always amazing, definitely recommend this place 🇮🇪🖤

Good atmosphere and brilliant Karaoke

Manager is an absolute disgrace, definitely would not come back again after his behaviour towards me and my friends last night.

Called in for a drink,bit expensive compared to some other bars but great atmosphere and live music.

Pub molto caratteristico frequentato per lo più da persone di origine irlandese che guardano partite di rugby e calcio negli schermi ben visibili, ma soprattutto cantano e ballano canzoni irlandese accompagnati dal suono di un bravissimo complessino che suona e canta molto bene. Posto molto rumoroso.

Looks can be deceiving! That is exactly the case. From the outside it does looks very normal but actuslly This pub is amazing amd the very friendly staff will be a tonic for your night. Recommended.

Called in for a few pints on a Friday afternoon. Great spot, staff are very friendly. If you're looking for a decent pint of Guinness in Liverpool definitely call in.
