Langtry's Entertainment Bar in Conwy

Ordered the battered sausage from the MAINS section of the menu.It said £5 so as it was in mains and it was a fiver I thought that's not a bad price. Assuming (maybe wrong) that the price and the fact it was in a mains section of the menu that it would come with chips or even a salad. 10 minutes later the guy turns up with 1 regular sized battered sausage in a basket. 1 sausage for £5 the waiter told us then that chips were extra. We could only laugh at how much we had been ripped off. I wouldn't go back the price does not reflect in quality of food or portion. The waiter told us he was embarrassed because he agreed with our complaint. Poor guy is bound by his manager greed.

Terrible don’t waste your money the place is dirty and the food is disgusting we never leave food but this time it was terrible all frozen and cold!!!!

Attended for lunch with my family of 7 today for lunch, it was terrible. Frozen chips, frozen sausage and frozen fish, all of the poorest quality. We also had to listen to a member of staff being rude to another member of staff. Very disappointed.

Fuimos a almorzar seguro de que el pescado y las patatas fritas en la playa siempre es bueno. Nunca he estado tan equivocado. Chips congelados, ya dijimos. El pescado en la masa había sido precocinado y luego se dejó caer en la freidora otra vez. El pez tenía la textura de algodón y el rebozado tenía una capa de baba gris grasosa en el interior. Nos fuimos sin comerlo, la foto adjunta muestra el plato que dejé. Verdaderamente desagradable, no vayas aquí.

Qué fantástico cantante/hermana e ingenioso. Bien vale la pena ver, los gestos para ir con este muchachos talentosos de voz

Had another great time at the Llandudno grand hotel food okay staff helpful and entertainment great nothing was a problem to all the staff that work there bedroom clean also bed linen

We went in with two friends for something to eat after a lovely day and this was a letdown. It advertises on the door that the fish is cooked to order but ours certainly wasn't. The batter was inedible and the whole meal was not enjoyable. Needless to say the next time we visit llandudno we will choose somewhere else if we want fish and chips when we have been on the pier.

Good place for families. As we did not have children with us though we found it too annoying having kids run riot and throwing their ball around on the dance floor. Not ideal for a couple who like to have a dance

Toilets need an upgrade. Check Dining area needs an upgrade. Check Friendly informative staff. Check Reasonable prices. Check Frozen food menu. Check Typical British Cafe on a seaside pier. Check Wouldn't have it any other way....

This was the only restaurant that was serving some food on the pier, rest of the eateries restricted to tea, cakes, breakfast, ice creams. We had veg burger, chips which was reasonable and good. Tea was ok.

Went for some chips and drinks with my parents, brother, children and dog. We sat at the edge by the open doors so the dog could sit outside. After purchasing food, I asked if possible to have tap water for the dog. Only to be told no and pointed to the toilets down the end of the pier!!! The lady behind the counter was just plain rude with zero customer service. My young daughter then had an accident and spelled her large slush that we had just bought. Again there was no custowmt service and no offer of a replacement (I know it was my daughters fault but most places are kind enough to offer another especially with the very large profit margin involved in them drinks). There was no friendliness or any kind of polite behaviour. Never will I go back!

Ok- we initially only went in here so my son, who was at critical mass could use the toilet, but I felt it was only fair that I bought a snack or something in return. The woman behind the counter didn't even answer me when I spoke directly to her and barely acknowledged we were there! The place is just tatty and if it hadn't been for the lack of toilets on the pier we wouldn't have gone near the place - certainly won't again!

Went in for a tea and a cream scone. It was reasonably priced compared with some places and value was very reasonable. It has toilets for patrons and saves a long walk to nearest others, It isn't pretty but neither is it grotty.

My family and I have been coming here for many years but over the years the entertainment has not been as good. Also a shame it is not open all year round. Drinks are quite expensive and dance floor usually has kids racing around so you cannot have a proper dance. Toilets are terrible and the front of the bar/ grand hotel needs a big facelift as from the outside it looks shabby. Ok for a couple of hours if you want a drink and some music but nothing special.

Visited Llandudno pier looking for somewhere decent to eat with my wife on a recent visit to this wonderful seaside town.Came across Langtrys cafe situated on the pier.From the outside it looks like this place has seen better days.This is a typical example of the worst seaside greasy spoon cafe.Walking past one is greeted with the overpowering smell of greasy chip fat & stale urine.Even the seagulls stay clear of this place.Unbelievable to think that places like these still exist in this day & age.A blight on the pier & a disgrace to Llandudno.Yuk!

Not bad for a nightspot in summer theres entertainment and the singers are Okay to good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Toilets let it down a bit.

From the outside, this place looks as though it shouldn't be in Llandudno, never mind attached to the grand hotel. The aroma that filters through the air is that of stale fat and the whole area looks dirty and messy. I went in to get a drink and walked back out again. This is not in keeping with the beautiful Llandudno pier.

fantastic turns all weekend with good comperes prices a bit expensive but about normal for a hotel. clean with good bar staff that new how to fill lager in lager glasses.

Did not realise this had its own Name under the Grand Hotel. Well the WC is a mess - cracked urinal pipe that just lets it go on the floor. Might as well not use the Urinal. This is not a new problem as I have reported it to the staff before. There seems to be food serving area not far from the WC so I can only assume there is serious health risk here if this is not sorted.

Part of the inappropriately named "Grand Hotel". The place looks very tired, the staff look very bored and the food looks unappetizing. We only used it as we were on the pier and it was starting to rain. 2 adults and 2 children... we could have eaten for less and enjoyed our meals elsewhere. Awful chips. A shame as the location and views make it a potential gold mine. It just needs different management, tidying up and PROPER food.

was enjoying our day out came here to feed our family and small children food was no were near cooked still raw and mine was full of grease swimming in it i coudnt even eat it. wont be coming again and warn anyone who would check your foods cooked

I was so upset as they served up raw beefburgers to my kids I've never been so discussed and it wasn't just 1 burger both my son's burgers were raw we asked for money back but just give them a different meal with cucumbers that had changed colour my friends had an all day breakfast that was swimming in grease it was discussing would never recommend them in fact I will be warning yous to stay away not happy at all
