Restaurant prices and a cheap cafe nothing on the tables have to ask for everything sugar sauce menu never again when we visit Llandudno

Stopped here for a late lunch. Had to wait an hour for the food to be served, despite it not being particularly busy. Food was poor quality and expensive. We were a large group and no one had a nice meal, very disappointing. It seemed very understaffed with inexperienced workers, no customer service and poor organisation. Reading the other older reviews here this is old news, I’m astonished it’s still open…!!

This is the first bad review I've ever given. We went in as a family and after setting out baby food for my one year old, we were going to order but a waiter came over and told us the manager said we weren't allowed to feed our one year old. When I asked to speak to the manager they claimed it was the owners rule. There is nothing age appropriate for a one year old for the menu, so the expectation would be that we eat but let our baby starve?! This is the first cafe they has ever turned us away but after reading the reviews I'm not surprised. We went over the road, had fabulous service and encouraged other families to steer clear when they were looking for a place to eat.

This is probably the worst review I've ever given. We didn't even manage to eat as we were told we weren't allowed to feed our one year old so we had to leave. As soon as we sat down and sorted the baby out a member of staff came over and told us the manager said we weren't allowed to feed our baby food in store, the manager didn't even have the courtesy to speak to us directly so I had to call for them. The manager then claimed it was a rule from the owner. This is the first cafe we've ever been told we weren't allowed to feed our baby in the UK and NZ. Absolutely appalling and I encourage parents not to attend this location and go over the road like we did. I'm hardly surprised after reading other reviews such as discrimination against disabled customers.

Cafe should be shut down. I am a disabled man that could not get around or use the toilet. The cups were dirty and the cakes were stale and the staff were rude and not helpful at all. We asked did they do sandwiches and was told no we also asked about a bowl of chips and was told that we could not have a bowl of chips but the staff then served another family with chips and panini. We went down the road and there was a cafe called fortes that was more than helpful and very disabled friendly.

Called in for lunch , ordered 2meals and drinks. I asked could I have half a glass of tap water to dissolve my medication in , she refused outright. The tea came without milk and sugar which we had to ask for. My partners meal turned out unavailable and the alternative , roast chicken arrived . It was a deep fried portion of chicken , not roasted , so dry he couldn’t eat it and a portion of chips. I looked at the menu , it was supposed to have salad and coleslaw with it , which again we had to go to the counter to ask for. Absolutely disgraceful service and quality

Read a lot of negative reviews on this place, went today, it's brilliant, would happily go again, food good, ambiance good, staff brilliant. Only downside, locked toilets, only gor use by customers, which seemed kinda fair, and got me thinking re all the negative press...

Shocking food, dirty cafe. Asked for a refund was promised it would be in my account the next day still not received. Looks like a cafe ran by 16 year olds would not recommend at all!! For refrence I ordered the spag bol it looked like it had been cooked for 3 mins

Rude staff. Asked for special and just got a "no" and some muttering. Should've left but had a coffee. The smallest coffee ever for just short of £4. Avoid.

No menus on the tables so had to go to the counter to ask for them. Was told by one of the distracted counter staff (distracted by what I don't know, it wasn't that busy) that it would be a 20 minute wait for any food. Went to order and was told by the other bored teenage girl on the cash register that the card machine didn't work so it was cash only. Nipped across the street to get cash. In the 2 minutes I was gone they changed the prices on the "Specials" board from £9.95 per entree to £12.95 (my husband was sitting watching this happen). Came back with cash and enquired about the sudden price change. Was told the manager had told the counter staff to change them to the "weekend" prices and there was nothing they could do about it as that was the rule. This was at 12:45 on a Sunday afternoon. Uh-huh, whatever..... Went a few doors down and had lovely, friendly table service at a different busy cafe with a welcoming atmosphere and fresh made food that was with us 15 minutes after ordering.

Crossed the road from a certain cafe chain where queue was not progressing at all and I was being ignored. So glad I did. Staff friendly and helpful. Coffee good and cakes to die for. Would recommend. Spacious indoor premisses and outdoor seating for in summer or for the adventurous out of season. Will def go back next time in Llandudno

Me & my girlfriend on holiday in Llandudno went to cafe culture for pot of tea outside, served by nice young lady however went to use the toilet to then find no staff as was absolutely bursting,was knocking the door for ages for assistance to unlock the door, when eventually she came out, was using the toilet, for the lights to go out n find a few toilet tissues, told the girl when I came down, very disappointed,no wonder the cafe was empty , won't use again

We were drawn in by the sign saying home cooked food. What we did not realise was this was home cooking at the level of a teenager in a bedsit. 50 pounds for 2 adult and a kids meal that was very poor quality. My salad resembled nothing like it was described and when I asked for salad dressing, they could not provide any. Terrible - had to go to Tescos to get some to make the leafy mess edible.

All in a panic, one female employee came running out of the kitchen with her hand over her mouth announcing that she was going to be sick but laughed as she went through the door to the toilets. 2 very stressed young male employees trying to manage customer orders didn't seem to know what they were doing. Food was appauling and clearly not fresh, my jacket potato was extremely dehydrated and brown, the tuna mayo was a strange colour and bitter in taste and it was definately not in mayo, the coffee was insipid and cold, cutlery was dirty as were the tables. The only person that seemed to know how things should be done was a lady who had clearly only just started working there and felt that she needed to apologise constantly for the poor service and was the only one who greeted the customer and smiled. It was a shocking experience I felt as if I should have got up and helped it was such a let down... standards were very poor. Managers should be ashamed as this venue so clearly has the potential to be so much better.... come on guys pull your finger out! Save your business!!!

Had Toad in the Hole special. Good but may have been stood, we were at the tail end of lunch though.

vine aquí para almorzar con mis hijas pequeñas 2, todos comimos queso simple y paninis de cebolla y tazas de café que uno pensaría que no se podía servir mal sin embargo, 2 de los 3 paninis carecían de queso los 3 estaban fríos, incluyendo nuestros cafés, intenté quejarme a una joven que parecía estar a cargo , ella se negó a tomar nuestra comida y bebidas de vuelta y me dijo si no nos gustaba la comida que éramos libres de ir a otro lugar.

Ordered some coffee's and asked for a chai latte. Worst I've ever had it tasted of old books. When I took it back the other server said we don't do chai latta. But I said the other server did one. Would not recommend.

4 adultos pagando completo almorzando y me dijeron que el sándwich que compramos para mi hijo de 4 años para comer no estaba en voz alta, así que tuve que irme con él para comer su almuerzo en la calle afuera. Podría apreciar que todos nosotros estuviéramos comiendo comida de fuera del restaurante, pero no gritar a un niño en edad preescolar cuando el resto de nosotros estaba pagando £ 16 + por pizzas pequeñas (que ni siquiera estaban cocinadas adecuadamente y tenían bases crudas). Absolutamente evitar a toda costa, ya que este lugar no tiene servicio al cliente y comida pobre sobreprecio.

Do not have a main meal here. 3x adult meals and 1x kids meal plus soft drinks just over £60. Food was 40mins coming at a quiet lunchtime and was dry and tasteless. Venture to Greggs 2 doors down instead for much nicer, hotter food for about 1/4 the price and they don't have to buzz you in to use their loo either

STOP NOW!!!! Don't go in the scones are stale, the toilets are 3 flights of stairs up and the smell gets to you before you get to the toilets, they are disgusting. Just watched a young man wipe 4 tables over with a dirty cloth and no sanitiser or disinfectant spray. Would never come again or recommend to anyone. Should have gone to the pound bakery over the road.

Decided to pop in and try here, looked at menu was a bit pricey. The place was pretty dead for a Thursday lunchtime, staff leaning over counter looked uninterested. We looked at the reviews and glad we did, take a look at the others and decide yourselves. We walked out and went elsewhere.

We visited cafe culture today and I'm not sure I would return after our visit... we arrived just for drinks & cake/ice cream. We are a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children). It took 20 minutes to be served because there was only one very young man serving. You could tell he was feeling the pressure of a big que, he was getting orders wrong and getting very flustered. Eventually another yound man came to help. So.. we ordered a latte, tea, x2 pepsi max, x2 flapjacks, x1 Brownie & a kids ice cream sundae (as menu shows on wall). We were then told they don't actually do ice cream sundaes.. not a problem just a scoop will do.. the young man acted like I wanted him to go And make the ice cream himself 😂 anyway, all that came to £24.. not too bad I don't think. The tea and pepsi maxs were fine but the latte wasn't great, that might of been because they were re-heating foamed milk. The atmosphere inside was quite uncomfortable, tables very close together and you could hear everyone inside complaining about something. Flapjacks and brownies were ok for the money.

Food disgusting, staff rude, wish I'd read reviews, an hour wait for a cheese pannini that tasted like eating rubber...

Would not recommend in the slightest. Ridiculously overpriced for extremely bland food. We ordered 2 paninis and 2 teas and it was £30+ and not well made at all. The tables were so close together and most of them had not been cleaned. There seemed to be way more staff behind the counter when it was very quiet, instead of going around and tidying up/cleaning. Was told it would 20 minutes for food when there were barely any other tables. Not a good experience at all and very disappointing.

I popped in while I was visiting Llandudno today with a friend and visiting family members today I have to say the customer service we received was absolutely brilliant I hope to come back there next time I visit

Better places than this, called in for lunch, told there is a 45 minute wait for food, ordered tuna pannine, and cheese and onion pannine , no tuna left, asked if our drinks could be brought over with our food, but told can't do that so had to order again when our food arrived. Small portions, expensive, and don't even try the toilets, most of the staff pleasant apart from one girl who appeared to be in charge, bit unwelcoming

Food quite expensive cost nearly £18 for cottage pie with chips and a drink, the food portions are quite small, toilets are filthy, they need a deep clean.

My friend had icecream outside but finshed i went in to ask go toilet 🚻 young girl with dark hair behind the counter said you eat here i said no but friend just had icecream outside i am disabled aswell she she no you can't how horrible i had wristband on aswell with epilepsy alert

Stopped for a coffee, coffe was fine. Asked if could also have a glass of tap water, refused. Would only sell a bottle. Not usually an issue, however the staff were dismissive and disengaging. I would have thought It good customer service to give a glass of water as most other places do. Whilst sat outside a couple were being served food and advised to move away from the edge because gulls could be a nuisance, so they did. During their meal a staff member came around asking customers to sign a 'petition' as the owner wanted to add a balcony upstairs for more seating, interrupting customers eating and drinking. After the couple who's been advised to move, left, there was quite a bit of food left on their plates. After a while a huge gull came down causing a mess and disruption, another soon followed and they fought over the food, dropping a substantial wrap on the floor. This plate had been there a while and staff hadn't been or to clear tables. Customers were trying to move away from the 2 gulls especially as others started to hover outside. As we were leaving anyway, i thought I'd nip inside to let staff know the table needed clearing as it might stop the gulls coming back. There was 1 customer, who was waiting for her drink and 3 staff. One member of staff went into the kitchen and the young lady i told, was dismissive, and said they were too busy and they were short staffed. I would have thought that clearing outside tables may have been a good idea to stop attracting the gulls, clearly i was wrong. I wouldn't visit here again purely because of the dismissive staff, and the fact that the owner is asking staff to canvas customers so he can get a balcony added. This should have been left by the till with a sign, then customers didn't feel pressured into signing whilst eating or drinking.

Our last day on holiday in Wales, we found this cafe 'cafè culture', which was busy outside so we thought was a very good sign and I would bring my family of four in for some lunch before heading back. I really wished we had walked further down the road to KFC.. HERE WE GO! On arrival all of the tables had no menu's on, so I persumed we just seated ourselves and would have to find one (all were at the front of the counter, so I was hoping they were still serving, as I had two very young hungry children). I ordered a tuna panini, Margherita pizza, baked potato with cheese, a childs fish finger meal and four drinks. I nearly fell over when it came to a total of £86 for four meals and four drinks. I questioned the young waiter, and he said that was correct. We asked for a copy of the receipt to find he had charged for 2 extra panini's (still an expensive lunch for the size of the portions). The meals took a while to arrive, when they did the child's fish finger and pizza was overcooked. we then had to ask for our drinks, which they admitted they had forgotten because they were short staffed. We also needed to ask for a portion of chips that had also been missed off our order. My iced latè was served hot. The only front of house waitress politely apologised for the oversite. However, we would not recommend eating here.

We arrived after 3pm for a pit stop. No non dairy option so I opted for vimto. Few options for a child (ran out of marshmallows for his hot chocolate), only few cakes left.

Witnessed Absolutely disgusting behaviour today from the staff against two elderly people with a young boy all over a mobility scooter in an EMPTY CAFE. Apparently your not allowed scooters inside and the rude waitress made it well known. When the elderly couple asked for a refund the waitress refused and threatened them with the POLICE! The waitress then went on to garner support from another cafe dweller who was blantly local who then further abused the old couple. I've never been so disgusted as I have at hearing how YOUR STAFF spoke to the couple and then REFUSED THEM THIER HARD EARNED MONEY BACK INSTEAD THREATING THEM WITH THE POLICE! Advice to anyone thinking of visiting here AVOID Nb to owner I have now read further reviews and will be contacting the council about this establishment breaking the rule 20 of the 2010 disability as discrimination act as other reviews claim the "owner" says this has come from the council.

Ordered two coffees and two glasses of tap water but was told that we would have to buy bottled water instead as they didn't offer free water. We sat outside at one of the many tables as it was a nice day, however, as they were very slow at clearing vacated tables of food, seagulls were a big problem. They would quite literally stand on the vacant tables and eat anything and everything left behind. We pointed this out to the staff but they just said they were a too short staffed to clear the tables; they had enough staff on to have one going from table to table requesting guests sign a petition to allow expansion of the cafe to a first floor terrace area.

Over £16 for two latte that had very little coffee in it had to go back and ask for serviettes and suger had better coffee ant end of pier

My boyfriend & I wanted to take his 88 year old mother who has to use a mobility scooter to be able to get out & about to Llanddudno for the day. We noticed that Culture Café had wide disability doors & easy access to get inside. This will be perfect, we thought. Once inside, we we bitterly disappointed. The table’s & floor were a mess & dirty. We were soon met by a young woman who loudly announced that we had to leave as mobility scooters were NOT allowed in there due to Health & Safety & fire regulations. People started to stare and look over at us. Horrified & shocked we then had to leave, for the young woman to persistently go on to say that 1 of the 2 doors was a fire door (which was locked, so no good in a fire). The young woman carried on by saying the government website states that they can’t have mobility scooters in any cafe or restaurant. Not happy with making a disabled 88 year old lady & her family feel embarrassed, singled out & targeted. The young woman finished her rant, as we were walking out, she said “you won’t find anywhere in Llandudno that will allow mobility scooters & there are non with disabled toilets”. There was no signage in or outside to advertise that No mobility scooters or the disabled are not welcome, at the Culture Café. Is this really how the Llandudno/North Wales tourist board wants their visitors to be treated?? Or is this the feelings/opinion of a small/narrow minded intolerant owner who has zero empathy or consideration for this section of society?? At this point, it would’ve been very easy for us to get into the car and leave Llandudno behind. However, we noticed that Fortes a few doors down, where there were 3-4 mobility scooters. In contrast, the team at Fortes were BRILLIANT, welcoming, kind, considerate. They welcomed us with open arms and the food was lovely. The disabled toilets were clean and on the same level as the restaurant. The decor & cleanliness were the gold standard. Fortes is a real asset to Llandudno.

Having been here before and seeing first hand how bad this place is, I highly advise you to go elsewhere. Don't just take my word for it. The locals hate it.

Expensive and bland food .. could not done in as owner apparently a thing with little dogs....after having been bombed by seagulls not offered any apology not bothered we would not recommend this place ... Food bland tea and coffee cold and tables grubby . .. plus would give no stars very over priced

Bought a jacket potato which I thought was on the pricey side, only to be told that the menu was wrong and it's a pound extra (so £15.95!). One of the girls behind the counter was trying to avoid doing any work and just stand around. No help whatsoever. Even when we asked a direct question to her, she gave an answer that was WRONG without asking any of her colleagues. At least the young man working there gave us a take away box after some discussion with management.

Not disability friendly at all,went in to have lunch on my mobility scooter and was told straight away that I could not have the scooter inside,took my scooter outside after leaving it at the side of the door only to be asked to move it again as was a fire obstruction.Needless to.say I walked out,Very poor attitude and no thought for disabled,I myself am able to walk short distances but it could have been someone unable to walk at all,disgusted.

Went in with lot of hopes but got out disappointed. Most of the items from menu were not available, no charging points . It took them ages to serve hot food.

There needs to be a sign outside advising that mobility scooters are not allowed inside. We were only informed of this after we had paid for our food. The paninis were ok, but the lettuce qualified and for an old age pension. The coffee was alright, but the tea was like gnats pee.

Do not visit this cafe. It’s lacks any atmosphere. Cakes look like they’ve been on display for far too long. Drinks are expensive. The cafe is dirty there’s no other way to explain it. There is debris all over the floor, the tables aren’t clean and it all feels slightly grubby. Staff are young and don’t seem interested in anything apart from chatting to each other when they are on the shop floor. Toilets are up stairs and smell revolting. The place was actually making me feel sick.

never going here again one of the staff offered to fight me in the back he had brown hair and spotty face this is outrageous and there should be consequences

Coffee and cake was ok. Quite busy so service took a while and seating limited.

If I could give no stars, I would. Pepsi is watered down, sparkling water has no fizz. Won't be coming here again.

If I could give no stars I would. Rubbish food. Advertised toasted teacakes that couldn't be toasted because they didn't have a toaster. Tea weak and tastless. We were overcharged but couldn't prove it as they wouldn't give reciepts. You had to ask to use the toilets so everyone in the cafe knew where you were going. Staff were in no way welcoming and have no kind of customer service. There are plenty of other nice cafés to choose from. Please avoid and save your money

Avoid at all costs. Abrasive and rude woman serving customers. I was told it was card only and then next customer paid cash. When I queried this she shouted at me saying the woman had the right money. I wasn’t given an option. Very rude. Needless to say I went elsewhere. I can see why it has so many bad reviews

Service was very slow. No ice cream available, only cakes and drinks. There was too much milk in the latte, Welsh cakes were dry and tasteless. Strawberry cake was good. Too pricey for the quality.

Cafe Culture was amazing. Great service and the food was the best. Welcoming, friendly and caring. Great choice of food on the menu and caters for all. I would recommend Cafe Culture to anyone visiting Llandudno. I hope it's not too long until my next visit. Thank you.

We popped in for a coffee and cake. Both were very good and the service was great. I needed the toilet, which was accessed via a door operated by asking the staff. Then there were several flights of stairs. The toilets were not clean at all!

I'm sorry to say this place is really poor. Premium pricing for frozen/microwavable food. Choose literally any where else. Couldn't eat the food. It was dire. Toilets are a disgrace aswell. Better off going to Mcdonalds

Visited for coffee & cake. Drinks were good, I had red velvet cake which was a little dry

Hi , This food last week was very disgusting 🤢 and staff very noisy Idont like to come back.

Just had coffee and cake as there was nothing else available. Menu looked basic and on the high side (pannini £11). Was empty when we visited but great staff. Would give it another go.

Awful, sticky plate, plate had clearly not been washed, it was sticky on the top and greasy underneath.

Don’t know where to begin! The coffee was luke warm and so strong we couldn’t drink it. Two young ladies serving had no customer care (or couldn’t care less attitude) and if you by any chance need to use the toilets you have to notify the staff behind the counter and they’ll unlock the door for you!! We won’t be going back there again in a hurry.

Having been on holiday with one of my service users. We had walked past this place and we had a coffee each when the place seemed quiet. We had 1 latte and 1 cappuccino. Granted some of the tables didn't seem too clean and one of the tables had wobbled. When having the cappuccino it had to be up with the best or the best that I have had, I've had cappuccinos in Budapest, Prague, London, Montreal, New York City etc etc. we had come back for the second time in two days, the only place I had cappuccino twice is in Budapest. Unfortunately I couldn't say much on the toilet or food. The place was bright with lights and well spacious. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Unfortunately in this picture, the cappuccino didn't look as good as it did yesterday, however, being served by Chelsea, she had made a good cappuccino, well done Chelsea.

Took nearly 2hrs to get meal. Everything went wrong with our order. Staff didn't seem to know what was going on.

Stopped for a quick hot drink and wish I’d walked back out the door as soon as I entered, only stayed because my infirm elderly grandmother needed to rest and use the Restroom. Which by the way you have to ask to be unlocked by a button behind the serving counter, which I didn’t mind, only that they didn’t mention that it was three floors up when it was clear that my grandmother had a walking frame and mobility issues. After finally getting to the lavatory it was in a disgusting state! looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, I won’t go into details it was that bad you couldn’t sit on the seat. This pattern of uncleanliness followed suit in the cafe. Although, we where one of two parties in the cafe at the time our table and the rest of the empty tables where covered in crumbs and tea stains, the floor was also covered in bits of food, the serving tray was covered in rings of dried tea and coffee and clearly hadn’t been wiped down. Coffee was undrinkable, bitter, no taste like the old grounds had gone through twice. Left as soon as we could whilst narrowly avoiding the dried dog muck right in the middle of the doorway entrance. For a cafe in such a prominent position in a popular tourist area with a supposed hygiene rating of five it’s such a disappointment, health hazard and really let’s the area down.

We arrived in the town centre mid afternoon, looking for somewhere to have cake and coffee. Cafe Culture caught our eye…however our experience left a lot to be desired. There were two young people behind the counter serving, whose customer service and skills left a lot to be desired. They spent most of their time talking between themselves, making us feel like an inconvenience. I think what completely finished it off was how a piece of cheesecake was slat on the plate looking like a car crash! Such a shame really, won’t be going back.

Cream tea for two Very nice served by pleasant staff. Very few inside as a nice sunny day in Llandudno.

Certainly not home cooking as the sign says, my fish and chips were cool when served and needed ketchup to give it flavour. Serving staff polite.

2 meals for 19.95 was disappointing. Food was lukewarm and tasteless. Do not even thing about going into the toilet!

My husband and I visited the café for lunch on one of our many day visits to Llandudno. The food was mediocre and my salad contained slimy lettuce! After eating I asked if I could use the ladies toilets. They are constantly kept locked and a member of staff lets people through using a buzzer system. This ensures that only customers can access the toilets. Imagine my unpleasant surprise and disappointment to find them in quite a disgusting state. Toilets were unflushed with toilet tissue on the floor and stains on the seat. On leaving the café I did alert the staff to this problem but it seemed clear that staff were not checking adequately in order to keep them clean.

3 big breakfasts ordered. Black pudding ordered as an add-on on 1. A server, apologised but there was no black pudding I asked for tomato instead. Breakfasts arrived. 1 had no hash browns the other 2 only had one rasher of bacon. I had no tomato. We also had drinks and cake and the bill was extortionate. I've had decent dinners for less. I have eaten at Culture before but sadly on this occasion it was not good

No disabled toilet. Only toilet is up two flights of stairs. Unfortunately means it’s not worth visiting unless you can manage stairs. Pity. It’s a large cafe in a great location, but doesn’t cater for anyone with a disability. The picture of the coffee is supposed to be a weak one, but you could stand your spoon in it. Tasted as horrible as it looks, so we both left our coffee after one sip.

I recently went to this cafe with my mother, we planned to get drinks and possibly food as well but upon listening to the girl behind the counter dealing with a group of customers ahead of us in the queue and hearing that almost everything they asked for being out of stock or that they were simply not doing it at the moment, we decided to just stick to drinks and then go find somewhere else for food. When it came time for me to be served, I asked for a milkshake but much like with the other customers, it was a case that they weren't doing them, no reason was given, in the end I had a coffee and my mum had a cup of tea. Now to be fair, despite giving only a 2 out of 5 for this review, the coffee was actually quite good and my mother was satisfied with the tea, that said, as many others have commented, the issue with the toilets was a big part of why this review is low, in order to use the toilets, you had to be buzzed through the door by a member of staff and both my mother and other several other customers were spoken to in a rather abrupt and not so pleasant manner when they either didn't understand the process or were simply not quick enough pushing the door to open it. Overall I would describe my visit to this establishment as disappointing.

Looked nice from the outside, looks can be deceptive. No milkshakes, no orange juice, no chicken. The first 3 things we asked for were not available, settled for cake and coffee which were both distinctly average. To access the toilets you had to be buzzed in, I wished I hadn't have bothered, you could smell them long before you could see them up the stairs and the floor was soaking wet with who knows what. Staff were all teenagers who looked and acted like they didn't want to be there. Steer clear, plenty of other choices to be had.

Nice location , but staff really young and unexperienced , rude , lack of interest for the customers experience , the service appaling

Service extremely slow (was not busy inside or out) after half an hour of waiting for a basic pannini, I asked the 14 yr old lad who was waiting on, if he could find out where it was, he said he would, when he came back he said "not my words but you've only been waiting 27 minutes and it should be ready in 10 more minutes!!!! When food finally did arrive 15 mins later, it definitely wasn't worth the wait, salad that came with it looked as if it had been sat on the plate for a week, pannini was cold and tasteless, the cheese in it like rubber....never again. Wish I'd of read the reviews first. AVOID this over priced establishment

Staff is not friendly, always frowning with that "what do you want?" attitude. Food came after more than one hour , servers have no clue what food they deliver, even if the table gets cluttered with enpty plates they won't dish out unless you leave... panini was great but pizza was disgusting. Can't rate it 0 stars unfortunately.

Oh dear! We felt like turning around and going out the door the minute we arrived, and perhaps in hindsight we should have. The person taking our order was quite abrupt but at least she told us what they hadn't got, including coffee and milkshakes. There were 7 of us. We should have realised as we were the only customers to sit inside. The food was well below average. Chilli Con Carne too greasy, Fish not very good. One of our party wanted fish with salad and no chips and she was told it would have to be fish without chips and peas but with a side salad. One of the others in our party ordered salad with fish.....no problem. The experiences behind us of people trying to go to the toilets were embarrassing to say the least. 'Push the door'. 'You won't get your walker up the stairs'. OMG.....I could go on.

Long wait for food, over priced for what you get on the plate

I Wasn't asked what size of drinks i wanted and was given 2 small cups of cappuccino with 2 strawberry flans, no larger than the cups and it cost £16.30. Toilets area was not particularly clean either. So I would not recommend.

What an amazing place this COULD be, oldest member of staff we saw was about 14, and they could not care less if they tried, everything we asked for was no, not no sorry, just NO, I felt like we had walked in to a classroom when the teacher was away, what food was available was OK, but I would never go back to staff like that, customers where watching people come in to be served as it was so unbelievable and openly laughing..........

We had three flat whites ...unfortunately they were insipid and luke warm .its a shame but they weren't nice to drink

Not great. Stopped here for a drink on a hot day. The service was terrible the staff seemed disengaged. Service was very slow. We asked for a Vimto which ran out when the glass was three quarters full. The server turned to her colleague and said the Vimto has ran out. Didn’t inform us the customer and just placed it on the tray 3/4 full. Then stated when we looked slightly confused I would have filled it to the top but it ran out. We also had a tea and a Diet Pepsi (regular Pepsi had ran out). We sat outside which needed a good sweep up from the staff empty sugar packets on the floor and tables were not cleared quickly making the place look untidy. After finishing our drinks we visited the toilets, which needed a thorough clean. No hand soap at all. Will not be visiting again.

My shepherd's pie was pleasant enough but my family were disappointed with their meals' quality. The cafe was lacking a lot of options on the menu. To be fair, the junior working staff were doing their best with no management visible. Poor customer service. No free tap water for children. And unable to swap beans for peas on a kids menu. Expensive and sadly probably wouldn't recommend...

It was a tad disappointing. Usually beautiful cakes and coffee. But our coffees were made they were stone cold. They only had cakes with cream in them. They used to do proper cakes that you sliced but nothing like this. But I will still visit sit in the same seat cos me mum loved this place.

Very poor food at restaurant prices. Staff all young persons and pleasant. The management should hang their heads in shame, ripping people off.

AVOID - £4.95 for stale cake, presented upside down on a warm plate with no cutlery and soggy napkins.

Expensive prices, mediocre food, bad waiting times, awful toilets. A place to avoid.

Bit disappointed really. Over priced and the place is bit tierd and worn inside. Could do with a good make over and staff training. Didn't have food because we were put off by all the flies inside the cabinet under the counter, the doors had been left open! Just had coffees that were ok. Hope the owner reads all the poor reviews and sorts it out. Could be a really nice place.

A favourite place to sit and watch the world go by in this ideally located friendly cafe. The cakes are so tempting and delicious and compliment a cappuccino perfectly. Always a warm welcome awaits and no trip to Llandudno would be the same without a couple of visits here. Many Thanks, Alun & John 👏👏👏

Lovely food, good service. We sat outside and the only issue which is the public's fault, is people just casually walking through, while us and other customers eating, as though they have no common sense or decent curtosy and not bothering about them being in the way, disturbing customers from eating peacefully and trying to enjoy their time.
