Amazing a bag of chips will feed a family of 3 Fish freshly cooked

The chips oil was old and unchanged, the beef tasted alright but it had a strange texture

Great take away food, the fish was beautiful and fresh with a crispy batter. Chips were plentiful, well cooked and the service was friendly. They also have a large range of dishes to choose from.

Always great food and amazing service

Won't bother again, chips were hard and undercooked, sausage in batter was solid, all in all very below average with high prices, lot better around this area

Was a bit frustrated tonight ordered 6.50 told 30 minutes finally had food at 7.50 ish I was meant to pick up my partner kids in car waiting..1 couple came by obvs preordered and had it straight away . May stay locally as its just as nice by us and less hassle ..

The Beef Curry is one of the best that i have ever eaten, so fresh and the Beef is so tender. Chips are so tasty. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

One of the worst takeaway we have ever experienced. After spending £45 the whole meal was inedible conjealed muck!! Just for the chips alone the place should have a warning sign outside EAT at your peril! God knows if they were even a potato .thankyou for taking our hard earned money just so we could throw this muck in the bin

Great staff the best take away I've found locally everything is freshly cooked the curry is amazing. Set meal for one you could definitely share and the chips are great. Highly recommend to visit!!

OK given numerous chances over the past few weeks thinking something must be up and so benefit of the doubt I kept going back but tonight was absolutely taking the mick and I've given my food to the dog.. What the heck is going on with the chips I do not know but seriously the chips are on another level of bad

The BEST Chinese and fish and chips, food is great every single time

Ordered this evening. Food delivered when said would be,with polite delivery person,all hot and delicious. Chicken balls are massive and plentiful not overly with batter just right. Rice with chunky meat not streeky sliced. Salt and pepper ribs, wings and chicken full of flavor not over-killed with spices. A well priced portion of all items got loads.😋😋😋

Great fish and chip shop that also does Chinese food. My favourite as is only across the road and does beef curry the way I like it. A lot of beef in curries tend to be soggy like it has been boiled but not at Lams kitchen. Also can have a scoop of chips which is just enough for 1 person. Great menu and plenty of choice.

Always recommend this place to friends and family. But they ordered from broad street and always complain about undercooked or reheated. I've never in 3 years had bad food from lams ♡

Had chow mein in sauce with chips in a tray last night, best I have ever had . I highly recommend this take away . Have recently moved to the area and have been trying out different places. The best part is its a chip shop and Chinese so everyone catered for . The prices are good when you get a bag of chips you do not need the large as they give you huge portions. My only fault is the fish didn't look great and was quite thin and small, but it tasted really good. If you like your Clarke pie they are only 2 pound. Chip shop by me over 3.50. If you do not usually take on bored the reviews as I usually don't , please take notice of this one . You won't be disappointed. 👌👍😀

Service a bit slow, not surprising, seeing as they were quite busy Very tasty crab meat&sweetcorn soup and a king prawn curry...must try something else next time I go. Worth a visit.

Lovely food. Really love the Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong style and rice tray meal. Really good value for money and always tastes amazing. The portions of chips are brilliant really good sized bag for the price. Only reason it's a 4 is because the chips often all get stuck to the paper. 10/10 for food 👍

We ordered this evening and for the first time. I can't have gluten, so asked for my dish of chicken rice noodle dish without the soy sauce. My partner had the chicken with black bean sauce. Both dishes were gorgeous. We think perhaps, the chicken and black bean sauce did not have soy sauce as it was paler than it usually is. Nevertheless, it was better than in any other chinese takeaway. Thank you

First time trying will now be using more great food

Last food ordered was not as good as usual. We paid for sweet and sour and they forgot to deliver our sauce. Just becuae its on the reveipt does not mean a staff member forgot to put it in.

Had fish, chips, sasauge, curry sauce, with free prawn crackers. My brother complained about his fish they brought him a new fish. My fish was fine and so was everything else. Thanks
