We here to have fun ..if you are a sports fan well this is heaven for you as you can chill out with your buds watching your favourite sports on the big screen 5.Drinks and food available at reasonable prices 6.Must try from their menu ..the Katsu Hash Brown and the Vegan loaded garlic bread ...worth every bite and it definitely is absolutely right. ! Recommend this place hell yeahv

Great outdoor space, although having a step behind the chair could have caused a nasty accident if we hadn't been aware! Music was a bit loud to have a quiet conversation.

Standard pub however food is quite pricey for portion sizes and quality. Lots of space inside and out so good for groups but 1.50 for a game of pool is quite steep! Food could be a better quality for the price.

Love this place when visiting the area

I always love coming here the staff are lovely and great evenings the last 18 years, but I was a bit disappointed with the mac n cheese as it was like it came out off a can 😪 but it will not stop me going to my favourite place 👍

On Rugby tour locally and playing at Crusaders I was looking for somewhere for dinner for 70 people on Easter Sunday. 30 plus places couldn’t accommodate us, until we called The Lamb and they said yes! Great communication from the outset by phone and email with Harrison and on yhe day Macey and her team were super organised with lists of who was seated where, table names and numbers pre arranged and food orders clearly understood. The service was efficient and the food good with all orders correctly delivered. I can’t thank them enough on behalf of Kettering RFC under 14’s 🙏

Haven't been to the lamb inn for many years ,me and the wife went in today for lunch and a drink.what a transformation the service from alex was above and beyond ,when lunch arrived it was great when we left I spoke to the manager joe told him what great place to be .well done to all involved we will be returning soon .martin and Sue

I've been in a few times now. Ambience is a little bit loud but I really like the place: some really good ales on tap and I recommend the shepherd's pie! Probably one of the best I've had. The staff are great too.

Busy, noisy place on a Saturday afternoon - full of people enjoying themselves! Food service pretty slow and ordering online in the bar difficult as WiFi reception was poor. Standard pub offerings for drinks and meals, on a par with 'spoons I'd say. Staff friendly enough, but busy.

We popped in for a spot of breakfast and what a treat. Had the full English and it was delicious. I couldn't fault it. Good service from the knowledgeable staff. Would definitely recommend.

Popped in for a lunchtime pint and a bit of food, had a lovely pint of Cider & we got the 7 sharer dishes between us. Fantastic food, cold cider, lovely staff, nice venue, good daytime atmosphere.

The Lamb Inn hosted us for a 50+ people staff meal over Christmas. It was a lovely venue and the staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend for large groups!

Large venue with a massive garden which would be nice in the summer, however I think it was quite expensive for what we got (drinks only). The two guys behind the bar were friendly. Sitting at the table, just after it opened, I opened the cocktail menu at the table and it was filthy - quite off putting - clearly hadn’t been wiped over for a while. We came here following a friends recommendation so will likely give another try in the future.

Come here all the time and never disappoints, staff are super friendly and happy to help. The atmosphere is also great especially on the weekend and is defo the place to be for any type of sport!

Lovely meal but so noisy we had a party of six music was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk so we left early You would expect this in a nightclub to have it this loud.not in a pub when people are eating and trying to have a conversation

Music so loud we couldn't have a conversation. Would have stayed much longer but once we finished eating we left. Would have been nicer for our valentine's evening to just be a bit softer at 5pm, perhaps it's perfect for 10 o'clock crowd.

Small plates were absolutely amazing, great variety and tasted fabulous.

Had to queue ages for very expensive drinks. Huge space in front of bar with no tables and all tables crammed in very dark ( couldn’t see menu.) Whose idea was it to remove all tables. Shan’t be going back

Absolutely awful customer service from the admin team. My group of friends attempted booking an evening meal here for the 31st January. We did this on the 26th November. To book for a group of 9 you need to do it over the phone, however you don't actually get in contact with any of the staff, instead you talk to an ai bot. Well we got that all confirmed for food and confirmation text sent. The office staff are admiment that I recieved an email confirmation on the 26th, however this doesn't exist. I've checked all folders and my bin and no emails exist from the lamb on the 26th Novembef at 6.12 pm. Well anyway we got the pre order booking email for food but the site wasn't working. After finally getting in contact with a human being they're admimant that it was because I booked a drinks order. If so why does the site now allow me to book drinks? And I most definitely didn't book that with its virtual assistant. Absolutely terrible our plans were based around this booking with the other activities being non refundable so I've had to cancel the entire booking!

Very busy place. Went to see a band who appeared to be stuck in a corner by the door. Quick to order drinks online to avoid the very busy bar.

Amazing place to watch football with tons of tables, nice music and great ambience

City center bar which it works well as. We tried to have some food, service was ok but the food itself was just really cheap and nasty! I mean it wasn't expensive but I expected better is all. I would not have the food again.

Go to Wetherspoons instead, much better value and the food is edible. Called in for a quick lunch, 2 meals were inedible and we left them. Did complain and all he said was sorry! What a complete waste of money!!

Worst food in 10 months of travelling … veges were limp and mashed potato had a skin on it like it had been sitting under a hot lamp for days …pie was so dried up inside there was approx 2 half cubes of meat in the whole steak and ale pie . The waiter was lovely and bought us another one … the vege were exactly the same if not worse , the pie was slightly more edible but so not what you expect from English pub food considering the price …

Booked The Lamb for my works Christmas do. Email communication between myself and The Lamb, with very quick responses. Very flexible in regards to paying the deposit, which was brilliant when booking for nearly 30 people. When we arrived, we had the whole upstairs to ourselves which had plenty of seating, a private bar and 2 pool tables! Verity was our host, and was very friendly and very informative. The buffet was served promptly, and to good quality as well. Plenty of food to go around. Everyone had a brilliant time, and said it was probably one of the best Christmas do’s we’ve had for a while!

Terrible meal today. Roast dinners were awful. Roast potatoes barely cooked, vegetables rock hard. Roast beef tough as cut too thick. Pigs in blankets anemia,had to send them back to be recooked. Yorkie good, mashed potato solid lump.Did tell waitress,but nothing done. Portion of Christmas pudding with custard was a joke . Not enough for a child.

Booked in with the girls for first time Bottomless Brunch at the Lamb, awesome from start to finish, service was great, regularly checking in to take next drinks orders, we all chose the burger option, and it was very tasty and filling to keep up with drinks! Went for bottomless brunch, service from Emily was excellent, friendly, very efficient and welcoming, atmosphere was good, busy pub on a Saturday is good to see but the food was cheap and nasty and thrown on the plate! They did accommodate one of our party well but it was still just not nice!

Had lunch at the Lamb Inn today. We had the mac and cheese and fish and chips, unfortunately we were both dissapointed by the small and not very hot portions we received. We had expected good food after coming here years ago but it appears they have changed their menu... Our food felt like low standard "chain pub" food which was a shame. For 2 mains, side of chips and 2 hot drinks it cost us £40. There seemed to be good vibes both inside and out the pub, and lots of screens. I'd recommend the Lamb Inn for drinks and watching sports but not for their food.

The menu looked promising but the food is expensive for what you get and came to the table luke warm at best. We don't think we'll return here.

Went for lunch with a friend. Lovely food although more veggie options would be better.

Love the new decor. Food is always good. Verity was extremely helpful and attentive. She goes above and beyond always. All staff are extended helpful and friendly.

Great refurbishment food atmosphere bust and vibrant no trouble brilliant garden with heaters. Food excellent although pricey for order but overall will revisit staff excellent.

I was served by Ash, he's a credit to the company, went out of his way for my husband and I. I was allowed to have a kids meal, as i cannot eat too much. Always smiling 😃 everytime I spoke to him. Thanks Ash, it's a shame I don't live in the area, as I would use this place more.

It was busy when I arrived but managed to get a table, lots of seating outside too. Bar staff were very friendly, felt like a nice atmosphere to sit and relax with a drink. Had the chicken and bacon club baguette which was good value, arrived quickly and was very tasty. My only gripe would be it was £6 for a bottle of low alcohol Ghost Ship that a felt was a little pricey. Dog friendly and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Had an amazing time at lamb inn after work, nothing better than a bit of footy and then a glass of wine to wind down after a hectic work day. I cannot fault the staff at all, I was served by three different people whilst I was there and I made sure to get their names! Macy, Emily and Dan you are an absolute credit to the pub. I came alone so it was nice to have a bit of banter with these guys and they made me feel right at home. Venue is great but the staff are the best!

Came in on Saturday, was served on the new outside bar by a lovely girl called Emily. She provided a prompt service, and the atmosphere of the whole pub was really nice to see for a Saturday early evening. Would recommend & will be back!

I came in the other day before an important family function for a few drinks, sienna and barnaby went above and beyond helping my ex husband finding a non-alcoholic beer to drink (he can’t be trusted these days!!) I can’t wait to come back again for some more drinks!

I recently visited The Lamb Pub and had the pleasure of being served by Verity. Her customer service was nothing short of outstanding! From the moment we walked in, she made us feel genuinely welcome, going out of her way to ensure our experience was perfect. Verity was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Throughout our meal, she checked in at just the right moments, never intrusive but always there when we needed something. Her warmth and professionalism truly elevated our visit, making it memorable and enjoyable. Verity has a fantastic attitude and clearly takes pride in her work, and it made all the difference to our evening. I can’t recommend The Lamb Pub enough, especially with team members like Verity. We will definitely be back, and I’ll be telling others about this gem of a place.

I really enjoyed the lamb and would happily come back. The beer selection is fantastic, the ambiance is cozy, and the outdoor seating area is lovely. However, my low rating is due to the disappointing portion size of a side of chips. I ordered a beer (which was great) and decided to add a bowl of chips for an extra £5.95. To my surprise, what arrived was a tiny 4-inch bowl with barely 20 small chips – definitely not worth the price!

Sunday roast is shocking looks and tastes like a microwave meal the works was really rude one person from are group was gluten free and they said “everything is cooked on the same grill so it’s on you if you have a reaction will never go back to that place ever again

Ate upstairs in party of 6. The food was average at best. Whilst service was swift, napkins and sauces and cutlery had to be asked for. Chicken wings overcooked and just a few cubes of Chicken in chicken masaka. Nam bread was tiny. No proper seating and the noise level of music was unbearable, won't be going back and won't be recommended.

Always pop in for a drink, lovely pub, the best service especially from Macy! She’s a star! Food and the atmosphere is lovely! Beautiful pub!

Having been gifted a Red Letter voucher we decided to book a 2 course lunch for 2 at this venue. Despite being told it was a simple process when we phoned to book, it seems that members staff aren’t particularly up to speed. Getting our meal was somewhat long-winded as we had to wait for someone who apparently knew the drill to help us and having to go through the whole process at our table (by the oft visited toilets) was a little embarrassing. Our main courses were ok but the sticky toffee pudding was beyond sweet, the added sugar on top was complete over-kill. I wouldn’t say the person who gifted this to us got value for money. Hopefully this review means staff will be bought up to speed and that no other visitors need deal with such problems at their table. The young man trying to help us asked to take photos of our voucher before we left but he was nowhere to be seen unfortunately and we’d already spent enough time in this establishment. Such a shame as we had high hopes for our day but were left feeling a little flat by the experience. Drinks were very expensive we felt. The toilets were abysmal, broken seats, loo paper on the floor, unidentified brown marks on the walls. Whole area needs sorting urgently and regular checking throughout the day and a damn good clean.

The Lamb has recently had the outside sitting area revamped and it looks great. The pub has a great atmosphere inside and out. Great outside bar which is a bonus. Big screens showing the football. It was really busy.

Nestled away in the middle of the city centre, is this gorgeous pub visually it is stunning, there’s a pink photo booth that’s a bit out of place but still funny to see peoples reactions, I remember coming years and years (perhaps 12) with family and remember the food being much better. We both had burgers and chips which were rather hard and lacking flavour (but still much better than any fast food place in the city)can’t fault the service, staff have great personality and were very friendly. The table we had opted to sit was a benched booth but the bench had arm rests and was massively challenging to get in without pushing the table (think we just chose a bad seat 😂) overall atmosphere great, food average, unlikely to return for food. But nice to return for a drink.

Had a lovely pint of Guinness Wednesday night with some friends, sienna behind the bar went above and beyond with all of us! Explaining the mixr app, how we can get student deals and even pouring shamrocks on the pints

I visited Thursday afternoon for lunch with my husband and was served by sienna, who was absolutely lovely and explained a few different drinks to us, can’t wait to come back again.

We have been visiting this pub for some years and have eaten there many times and have always been very impressed. This was our first visit since the refurb and we were genuinely impressed with what had been done. We ordered a light lunch (Cheese and Bacon toastie and a Mac n Cheese jacket potato) and have to say it was the worst we have ever had from here. The bread in the toastie was hard and dry, there was the tiniest amount of bacon and cheese in the toasties and the "dirty fries" were cold chips with a small amount of BBQ sauce on. The jacket potato was dry, with a miniscule amount of Mac n Cheese. Really dissapointed. We ate what we could (because we were hungry!) and mentioned it to the young girl who cleared our table. We certainly weren't/aren't expecting any refund and the comments were purely for feedback but she couldn't have been less interested! The bar staff however were excellent, very attentive and on the ball. We will return as we visit Norwich often but we will be wary about ordering food!

Loved the venue, the music is great, and the food is delicious. Plus, the service is top-notch! Highly recommend it if you’re keen to have a good feed, few beers and play some pool. I’m now about to watch the boys kill it on the karaoke.
