We went in expecting a lovely meal, the beef chapli kebab was hard and tasteless, the masala fish was down on the menu as steamed, but it was dripping in oil and over cooked, the chicken wings were not fresh, we also ordered a falooda I think they forgot to add the rose syrup and the sewia were hard. We left most of our food, paying the bill my husband complained but he wasn't really interested . Will never go there again

Really bad service, we sat at the back they would not come and take our order. We had to get up to place an order then a worker comes and takes our order. The food was cold, the cups were not washed properly. They did not put plates or cups in our table we asked them few times to put these in our table so we had to do it ourselves We came out of town aswell this is one of our worst experiences.

Went to Lahore village as we couldn't get reservation for our usual restaurants. And it was a good decision. The place is simple, no frills but the food was really tasty and quite reasonably priced. The masala fish and chaka chak ( chicken pieces) were amazing. We will go again and highly recommend it to all

So we arrived and looked at the menu.... you’re bang out of luck if you fancy anything with any hint of a vegetable in. On trying to order 2 waiters started to take the order and just walked off half way through! Finally a guy stayed long enough to complete the order. Firstly a chai tea and a lassi. The only vegetarian dish paneer, was off the menu. So we ordered some veg pakoras, 2 veg samosas, a chicken korai and a mixed grill/kebab affair served on a nan. So the pakoras arrived. No chai tea...in the meantime we cleaned down the table and wiped the sticky prints off the upturned glasses...with napkins sourced from a host of surrounding local restaurants looking at the branding on them. No there is saving money and saving money!!! So the samosas arrived after 15 minutes, only to find they were meat... I duly sent them back and explained I’d ordered veg. 10 minutes later they appeared, I bit into them... meat...again!! Really?! Come on, mess the order up twice in a row, careless or a special kind of stupid, come on!! So they were taken away... the staff thought it was hilarious. The curry arrived under an inch of oil. No hint of a pepper or onion in the curry. My boyfriends kebab was horrendous and couldn’t finish it. The samosas never arrived, the chai never arrived. Our stomachs were gurgling all night. Please avoid, this place is awful.

Hi everyoneI went here yesterday with my wife and this is an honest review with no bull. Believe me you should avoid this restaurant at all costs. I wish I kept a rosa. Dont take the risk that my wife and I took. First of all from the outside the restaurant looks good. There is a good sign and big windows and we could see people sat inside so we thought why not. The first thing I did was go to the toilet and they were quite disgusting. I wish I held it in. My wife sat down and ended up stepping on chicken wing bones on the floor. The waiters didn't even clean properly and I was quite appalled by the general hygiene. For starters I ordered meat samosas, seekh kebabs, desi tea, fries and a katlama. The food arrived quite quickly but I wish it didn't. The samosas were so oily that they were dripping from the inside. I held one and the oil was literally pouring out down my hand. I had to use tissue to drain it out. I was DISGUSTED. My wife had the katlama and it was so hard she couldn't even cut into it so I tried cutting it and for once she was right lol. I was physically struggling to cut it and couldnt even chew it. Now Im not one to complain but I was really hungry and felt compelled. I told the waiter and he took the katlama back to the kitchen, Then the chef or manager came to our table with the worst attitude ever. He was totally bathemeez (means rude). He started arguing with me and raising his voice, telling me that theres nothing wrong with the food. Then he said in a very rude manner "Do you still want the main course" in an incredibly rude and snarky way. It was almost like he wanted us to leave. I was literally in shock but was with my wife so I didnt want to argue and leave, totally ruining her evening. It made her feel so uncomfortable. After this incident we were ignored and shunned by everyone. They didnt once ask us if everything was OK at any point or even come near us. They just avoided eye contact. It was the type of thing that makes you feel ashamed to be a pakistani. You would never get that in any other restaurant. They just don’t have any manners or know how to treat a customer. The main course was a lamb curry and was OK but wasnt really spicy enough even though we asked for it hot. The naans were quite hard and I just got the bill and wanted to leave. I ended up paying at the desk to the rude manager/chef. It was the most awkward moment ever and he didnt even apologise or anything. He didnt even make eye contact and took the money, gave me my change and we left (at least he didnt charge me for the katlama that was the only plus point). It basically totally ruined my evening. Overall, the food was horrible apart from the fries and the desi chai but you cant really get that wrong. The service was even worse and the décor was pretty average. It ruined my evening and made me feel ashamed to be a Pakistani. All the food was definitely cooked from frozen. I don’t think anything was fresh. The positive reviews on trip-advisor are probably fake ones written by themselves. Avoid this restaurant at all costs guys and definitely don’t take your wife for a nice romantic evening.

Went for Thursday night dinner. Ordered chicken biryani and meat karahi with garlic naan. Despite the restaurant being very busy and waiters run off their feet, the food came very quickly. When we went to pay at the end, it transpired the items we had ordered along with some other popular items were ready made and ready to serve so not fresh at the time of ordering. The food was reasonable. Medium spicy which wasn't great for our son to eat as it was too spicy. When we ordered we asked for it to be mild but the waiter said it was already medium spicy which should have been the first clue it wasn't fresh at the time of ordering. The garlic naan was a little burnt and not soft at all. Within a few minutes of it being on the table it was pretty hard. Having said all that, it wasn't the worst biryani and curry I have had and the prices were very reasonable so can't really expect much more. Don't go with any expectations and you may be surprised.

My friends and I wanted to have their tea and samosas indoors alongside chaat from their take away company (the same company!) across the road however they refused to let us eat in because the chaat was from their other shop. Just to add, we were a group of five very polite women, and specifically had travelled from out of town for a day out. The manager was the one to refuse us and we had to purchase the food and eat in our cars just outside their shop! Very bad service, it is unlikely I will return or recommend this place to anyone after this experience :(

We visited this restaurant yesterday. The melamine plates and crown hotel serviettes set the scene for an interesting meal. The mixed meat grill was about half edible, chicken and lamb kebab were OK the rest of the lamb was tough. We ordered nan bread and parathas, these were not up to their usual standard, they were heavy and like warmed cardboard. Vegetarian option were authentic tasting but had too much sliced green chillies. The place has been refurbished, the style is tacky and haphazard. So, instead of seeing an improvement, we felt the place is going downhill in its quality. The only dish we thought that merits a mention as being good was the masala fish and chips.... Except the chips weren't crispy but oily and insipid looking.Having said that we were disappointed, what surprises me is that many Asian families seemed to be enjoying their traditional fare. It really does remind me of a Punjab village cafe... If the food standard was good then I'd really be happy. Sadly, the standard is poor.

I have used this place quite a lot over the years, it is open well into the early hours and about a £5-6 taxi ride from the city centre, so if there are four people looking to eat good food, a couple of quid each (gotta tip the driver) in a taxi is well worth it. The menu is not massive but what's on it is very good. I tend to have the mixed grill or a couple of starters and a large shish kebab roll (3 shikh kebabs in a naan bread) rather than the curry's, although I have had the chicken balti and it's quite nice. My friends absolutely love the lamb chops. The prices are very reasonable, the staff are very nice and even when it's busy you don't wait too long for the food.

I visited this restaurant with half a dozen work colleagues, on recommendation from a friend. It was from someone who I trust when it comes to food, so much so that seven people, who like a drink, went for dinner to a restaurant where they don't serve alcohol. Firstly, don't be put off by the canteen kitchen area, the neon lights or the plastic plates. It's worth sticking with because the food is great. The evening on which we went it was pretty busy with large groups eating together, which was a good sign. We were seated quickly and talked through the menu, as much of it we didn't understand. I had been recommended the masala fish, which was indeed superb, as were the onion bhajis and tikka chicken. There's no getting away from the fact that this restaurant and is basic, but the food is good and it's cheap too. Well worth a visit.

I was very impressed with this restaurant. We had lamb chops which were better than many of the restaurants I have been to understand Leicester. I liked shimla pinks but this was even better than that! The food was delicious..... The food was superb. I had the lamb nihari and it was juicy and tender. The chicken tikka was succulent and tasty. The meat was very well marinated and tasty. It's a very relaxing place and very child friendly. The facilities were very clean and tidy. It's the cleanest I've seen in any restaurant. Above all there was 12 of us and the entire bill was only £118. This was tremendous value. I would like to recommend and thank the manager for looking after us. We spent 90mins and ate a hearty feast. Thank you sandry and team.

I have been visiting this place for more than 5 years. Most things I have tried on the menu I have throughly enjoyed! Baltis, are traditional style like "mum" makes at home. Tikka/grills/ masala fish are all finger licking. The burgers are also one of the best I have had. Averagely priced, but with a pleasant atmosphere, and always fast service. Staff are attentive most of the time. Toilets could do with a bit more of a regular clean, but otherwise doesn't really let the restaurant down in anyway, as the food is great!

Quickly shown to seat and the order was taken, The ambience was good and clean as were the toilets , Comfortable seating not too cramped. The meal and starter arrived together as requested ( Lamb chops ,Balti Ghost, and plain naan as they did not have peshwari ). Food delightfully tasty with reasonable portion and arrived hot. Reasonably priced and value for money. The only thing which let them down was that as they did not allow alcohol at tables and water was requested but never received even after reminding.Worth a visit as its all about the taste.

We went to have a meal that was popular here about ten years ago. The waitor seemed distant and took our order hastily without making eye contact. From this it was obvious he had got the ordered food written down incorrectly! The food arrived piping hot and yes the order was wrong. Three times we informed the waitor yet they did nothing to fix their mistake. We were hungry so ate and left never to return again. Going back to the nostalgia of this trip was to taste the masala fish on naan....however it was not to be. The fish no longer has the same coating or flavour. The naan are no longer fluffy...more dry brittle biscuits.

We ate last night at the restaurant in Leicester. Newly opened so we thought we would give it a try. As we entered it was busy. We got a table but took a while getting served. The waitress was friendly enough. I had high expectations ad it was new. Well what can I say. We ordered a mixed grill for starters, lamb spinach and lamb karahi for mains. The grill came quickly but the lamb meat was so tough that it was difficult to cut with a knife. Before we finished, the mains came. The lamb curries were in the top 5 of the worst curries I have ever had. Just awful taste and no garnishing. We asked for hot and it was mild. We had a really awful taste in our mouths. We did not complain and asked for the bill. When the bill came I noticed that I was charged £20 for one of the lamb curries when it should have been about £6.00. Whilst I accept it might have been a genuine mistake that demonstrate a lack of attention to detail. No compensation was offered which wad disappointing. Before the meal, like most Muslims I went to gents to wash hands. The gents was smelly and filthy, no sign of any cleaning, and NO soap. I went back into the restaurant to ask for soap. I think cleaning is a weak point. Even as I write I am having stomach problems and need to go to the toilet so I will finish. I'm afraid that I cannot in all honesty recommend this restaurant if it can be called a restaurant!!!

A fast food alternative offering a good range of indian food, both takeaway and sit down, very popular with locals, helpful staff with superb memories and capability to handle numerous orders at the same time, The filled naans are a very satisfying option, its a pity the roads around do not allow a swift visit when passing on the M 6 but we do nevertheless as its a treat in comparison to the standard takeaway giants. We, as a family wandered into this eating place with trepidation. But as we were on an afternoon out in Birmingham I thought lets give it a go and try somewhere new.As you walked through the takeaway part of the shop there's a doorway which has had the door removed and there is another room with the sitting section with tables and chairs cramped in all over. It was busy. We realised the doorway was being used by coming and going including the cooked food and empties... so be expected to move over quicklyThe place was just basically bog standard which was fine.I established this place was not a restaurant more of a drop in sitting spill over from the takeaway... A man walked over to us... I wasn't quite sure if he worked here as he wore casual clothes jeans and a polo t shirt. It was quite busy by family parties. More locals than people who had come out esp to eat out.We got our menus and the prices comfirmed my feelings...cheap as you would get in a takeaway and so I set my mind to expect that sort of eating experience. All was confirmed....I looked over as new customers we being seated not far from me...Their table was not prepped up so needed cleaning. The waiter basically used a tissue to dry wipe the table with all debris pushed into his cupped hand at the end of the table....lovely.To be honest its everything you would expect from a disorganised, cheaply put together place for locals...it is what it is.Your order can take forever or brought almost immediately as there is no first come first served order basis. I heard someone say to the waiter that he hadnt ordered this when there food had been brought out. The waiters didnt bat an eyelid. Probably used to it.Our food was fine..we had to get our own cutlery by the way which was to be expected. One of us had visited the loo, which I thought was very brave and to be honest it was consistant with the general theme of the place like it had been well used by many other customers. Some points were a bit bizarre. Firstly, almost impossible to get a waiters attention if you needed to add to your order once placed. secondly they want you to get your own soft drinks from the fridge without asking anyone. Thirdly there is no number on the tables so you have to go to point one again to wait to find out the table number. Finally when you pay for your meal, you could get mixed in with the other people are ordering takeaways, When you pay the man at the till asks you how many drinks did you have. Interesting.Overall, it was an fascinating experience of confusion....will probably pop back one day... If I'm not too bothered and come with minimum expectations of anything you would expect from eating out...Food was the best part of the visit

Stopped by here on a Thursday lunchtime for some food. On entering it was nice to see the prepared food in the chillers in front of you with the choice of food that looked fresh and welcoming. I had a chicken rogon with nan bread and my colleague had something which looked nice too. It's more of a cafe style inside rather than a restaurant but everywhere looked clean and tidy. Be wary about the terrible reviews for this place, especially when over 50% of them are from reviewers with just one review. 9 times out of 10 it's usually the competition. Me and my friends normally go to Shababs which is opposite this restaurant. However, we decided to try this place as we saw it had a few customers inside. What a terrible mistake that was! The service we received from the "waiter" was terrible. They all seemed so depressed and lifeless. There wasn't a "hello" or a "good evening" when we arrived but just a blank stare. When we were shown to our table and the waiter dressed in his jeans and polo shirt decided to take our order he seemed to want to walk away before we had finished ordering. We ordered 4 Shammi Kababs as starters and the waiter gave us spoons and four empty plates with the Shammi Kababs in the middle. We then had to ask for knives and forks as it is impossible to have a kabab with spoons! The Kababs tasted old and I could tell they were microwaved and refried. It was the worst Kabab I had ever tasted.Shortly after, the main dishes arrived and I had to ask the waiter to get us fresh plates because he hadn't collected the starter plates. He also forgot to give us knives and forks again so we decided to go and get it ourselves. The Dhall that we ordered was full of oil. And the Saag Ghost tasted like paper. No one had finished more than 30% of our meals and we decided to give up. I hate to see food wasted but this was an exception. I was glad it was going to be thrown in the bin but judging by the experience I had had so far I wouldn't have been surprised if they reused the leftovers for the next customers. We decided to have some desserts as we were still hungry but the waiters were no where to be seen. I saw one waiter sat down on a table nearby picking his nose! We thought enough was enough and decided to leave. When my friend went to the counter to pay the bill the guy asked him what dishes we ordered! They don't even have a billing system in place and they expect the customers to repeat their order after the meal! I always tip even with mediocre service but this was something else and I didn't leave a single penny. It ruined our night considering we drive from Worcester to eat here. The prices are cheap and I definitely didn't expect a michelin star style service but this was horrendous. I definitely do not recommend this place. And as previously stated by another reviewer "Avoid this place like the plague!"

I went to the restaurant with my other half & family members - it could easily be a good restaurant with some additional tweaks. The outside was very well displayed, in comparison to others it was very appealing. We were seated quickly and efficiently. The interior was well presented, clean and well laid out. After waiting for 30 minutes+ to order our drinks and starters a family member had to find a waiter, (I must emphasise it was busy, so a delay in time was understandable but when a family opposite came in after us & had had their drinks, starters & were eating their mains before we had ordered anything I did begin to feel frustrated). When our starters finally arrived, they were well cooked & tasty! Were they worth the wait? I'm unsure. The waiter seemed stressed and the customer service was lacking well, just that. As I work in the hotel industry part of my job includes working in the onsite restaurant, so I totally understand how stressful it can be - however one thing a guest should never feel like is a hindrance, which is what we all felt like. After waiting for over 40 minutes after our starters had been cleared the mains arrived & everything was chaotic, with the wrong dishes being given to the wrong family members (including a vegetarian family member being served a keema naan unknowingly!) I had ordered a simple chicken curry - the chicken was very dry however the sauce did bring the meal somewhat to life. My naan was well cooked & seasoned. So, with big improvements on customer service, communication between waiters improving & learning that time really is of the essence this restaurant would have easily got 4 stars.

Dont know where to start with this one.......as the title says 'hit n miss'.As you enter you're normally seated very quickly and given a menu, your order is taken fairly quickly too but then the quality of the food seems to depend on how BUSY the place is.......IF its busy, then yes you can expect a shocking meal. The last time I went with family it WAS busy. The masala fish i ordered was half BURNT, the donner burger was poor, not like the FAT juicy burger you'd get back in the day. The cheap quality of the fries is evident too. The worst of all. .......the chicken biryani scam!!! I know it might sound OTT but it is a SCAM!! Firstly they serve you a portion HALF the amount you would get at any other place but they insult you by spreading it out on the dish conning you into thinking its a fair size portion secondly they get the chicken from the chicken curry and ADD it to the biryani!!!! Twice I've had that taste of curry in my biryani and I feel embarrassed at asking not to be scammed. To be honest this place is sooo busy their attitude is as if they're not bothered about customer service. But as I said hit n miss, a shame because sometimes it does come together and the food isn't so bad and if you complain they'll replace your meal etc BUT as of late its heading in one direction......the wrong direction ⤵

12 of us had a meal here, we all got a variety of things ranging from masala fish in a naan to mixed kebabs and mixed grills. Everything was fresh and tasted very nice. The price was also very reasonable. We got seated within 2 mins and the server was efficient and friendly enough to make the experience enjoyable.

I have visited this restaurant a number of times over the last 20 years and what I can say is that the quality is going downhill each time. They have given the place an uplift but the food has just tanked. I will not be visiting again in the future unless I am desperate for food and every other place on ladypool rd is jam packed. It was almost as close to be being in a modern day Pakistani dhaba with the food quality, service and atmosphere.

Great service, wish I could say the same about the food. Ordered the large grill, fish and the steak pieces were nice, but the chicken wings and lamb chops were so undercooked unfortunately. Ordered a lamb karahi and a chicken karahi, couldn't tell the difference in taste. They use the same sauce for both dishes and just throw in the different meat. Staff were so chatty and friendly please please please improve the taste of your food. Gave 4 stars, would have been a 3 but the service from all the staff gave it the 4.

The venue was really nice, with a large hall with many tables of different sizes, the environ was really good. The service was also quite good. The food was reasonably priced, (burger meals). The other food items were a bit expensive. We had burger meals which was ok, there was nothing special about it.

The food was mouth watering. I went with my parents and they said it reminded them of Pakistan. They said it was the best food ever and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The prices not that bad and the service is okay. Pakistani tea was available and tasted fantastic. It's the best restaurant I've ever tried, and I recommend it to anyone and everyone! Please go to this amazing restaurant as you can't get a better taste of the traditional Paksitani food anywhere else.

Been here several times over the years Good food most of the time (but main course curry and been warm and have to be sent back on some occasions to be reheated) nice place for families. BUT BEWARE my mom noticed on our previous visit the we were over charged by £9.ish. So this time we add our own bill up before paying what they wanted and once again there was a difference, this time of £6.20 so I got him to redo the bill and after 2 attempts it came to our price. I think this is a habit of this place because the guy on the till did not even care or said sorry. To sum it all up outside a couple said to us it's not the first time it happened to them and to other people they know. SO MY ADVICE IS CHECK YOUR BILL and my mom and sister is DO NOT GO THERE.

This place really is my go to ''Indian'' in terms of getting an authentic Pakistani meal. Every time I have been (and I have been a few times now) the dishes have been consistently good and tasty. Try the chicken off the bone bhuna, it really is great. The only reason I have not given it a 5 star rating is because the place needs to up its game in regard to service staff and table cleanliness. Please don't get me wrong, its not that the staff are particularly bad quite the contrary when you catch their eye you get what you want...its just catching their eye sometimes takes a bit. As for the table you do get the feeling that they could do with a scrub at time. If you want a really tasty and decant meal this is the restaurant to go to. I really enjoy coming here and have never had a ''bad stomach'' from the food eaten. I look forward to coming here again hopefully soon :-) Oh and before I forget I am addicted to the Chai, made in the original way and really nice and hot !

We'd had a bit of an over dose on Balti the previous day, so I asked for something light; 'Fried fish' was the waiter's recommendation. It was just the ticket! Very tasty, with subtle spices in the coating, but easy to digest, just right for a pleasant lunch. The price was most acceptable, and certainly compared favourably in relation to curry houses in Oxford, London or the south east! I would recommend, and will come back here myself :)

Although it had alot of dishes on the menu, unfortunately thats the only place the dishes existed. As I placed my order I was promptly informed they had ran out of the ingredient. So then I ordered another dish again I was informed they did not have that either. Another member of the family ordered a biryani and again we were informed they had served the last dish and had no more left. So then we simply aked him what he did have and chose from that. The waitor apologised for the lack of choice and appeared embarrassed. However despite the hitch the meal that we ended up having was tasty. We were all pleased with our dishes. The flavourings were exquisite on the palak chicken that caused my taste buds to dance with joy. I must say despite my reservations upon the lack of choice I was plesantly surprised by the end result to the evening. Well played lahore village. well played.

We felt like a change from our normal venture. So we ended up at the Lahore village. The menu looked good and the food looked great. We decided to have a multiple set of startes and share like we always do. The dissapoinent hit us. They were not cooked fresh, but microwaved. There was no real taste, but heat. We both enjoy spice, the difference is, is that it was no spicing no taste of flamed grill. Just floppy chewy microwaved heat. The mains were half decent again lacked spicing and just threw chillies after it. Yes if you want a grilled item yu expext it to have that griĺed element with spicing. The food was all unbalaced and was a great dissapointment. We wont be going there again.

Because we have such a large family, we couldn't go out for a family meal because of the Eid rush so we decided to order a couple of mixed grills and several portions of fries from Lahore. Not much of an Eid family meal, I know, but we're not an overly fussy bunch. As long as we dined together that was more than enough for us.Anyway, after the order was collected, the meat was tough and cold, the portions were tiny (1 kebab per portion), the chicken was full of red colouring, and tasted/smelt like it was a couple of days old, and the fries tasted like they had been cooked a couple of hours earlier. I'm not even exaggerating when I say that I'm very surprised that we did not get food poisoning! Whenever we order takeaways, especially chicken, I never let any go to waste, and I think this is the first time I have actually been glad to throw food away. I only wish I had taken a picture.

The shammi kebabs wee that good that my wife requested I bring back some for her every time I came. The seekh kebabs used to be the best I have ever tasted. The curries were at best average. The mango lassi was a perfect end to the meal. On my recent visit all the things that made this place so good have changed, maybe it's changed owners? The food was terrible and overcooked. This used to be our all time favourite but over the last year it's been nothing but disappointment. The quality of food has gone down hill and some of the guys are very damn rude.Orders have been constantly wrong, but been attending again and again given the benefit of doubt, but now it's no going back I'm afraid.Recently asked for extras to be put in a main dish, sadly it was done but the potatoe I asked for was taken from another ready made dish and just blended it ion my order. When questioned why is there just a tiny little potatoe and was told that's all they have.Ordered a few other dishes as we had guest who were trying out Asain food, in explaining the nature of sensitivity of allergies, they still got it wrong. Thankfully it was spotted before the guest started to eat.I'm afraid I can't say any positives as once upon a time I did.Recommend: nope sorry.

Wasn't great.Amongst us we had about 35-40 pounds worth of food, including Donner meat, lamb chops, double cheese burgers, chips, sheihk kebabs etc. The kebabs were nasty, no sauces given, or asked if we wanted any. The burgers looked dry, and really cheap (I didn't eat them) the donner meat was disgusting, the lamb chops were all spice and bone. We also had mango lassy which I didn't like. The best part was the little starters left on the table for you before you order or eat.Wouldn't return, sorry.

We had to prompt them about our jug of mango lassi and nan bread (included when ordering a mixed grill) which would otherwise not have arrived. And the jug of water did not arrive until requested twice and in despair had to help myself to cutlery. Portions are also a lot smaller than they used to be. There are a number of good eateries on Ladypool Road now and sadly Lahore Village is no longer one of these. The restuarant looks ok in terms of decor etc but the food is terrible. I visited this place along with a friend last week. We ordered chicken steak & chips for him and samosas/pakoras for me. The food arrived pretty quickly; in fact too quick we thought. The samosas were ok but the chicken looked raw and tasted raw. My friend called the waiter and told him to take it back and have it cooked further; it was back within minutes and not much different. My friend could not eat it so left it on the plate. We also noticed that people at a couple of other tables were also leaving their food uneaten. We told he manager on leaving but he was not much bothered. It seemed to us that the chicken had been slightly cooked on the grill previously, left in the fridge and then reheated in the microwave when ordered. The interior looked fairly clean except the toilets where there was water all over the floor. The waiters were attentative but were not very understanding or helpful. All in all, this is a place serving terrible food. They dont appear to care because they probably dont rely on return customers. This is a very very busy road with thousands of shoppers around who just pop in for a snack; never to return again. I certainly will not return.

We have enjoyed some wonderful dining experiences in the balti triangle but were sadly let down by Lahore Village.I wish we'd looked at some trip advisor reviews before going in as most of the comments that I have subsequently read pretty much sum up our visit. The restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night with mostly an asian clientèle, which is usually a good sign. We were seated at a table quickly and given menus. Unless you are very familiar with the dishes on the menu you wouldn't know what was what as there are no English descriptions. Authentic, perhaps? I asked what one dish was and was happy with what the waiter told me. My partner asked about another and was told that it was the same? I ordered a garlic naan and my partner, pashwari , only to be told that there was no pashwari only plain and butter varieties (even though I'd ordered garlic?) We enquired about the specials on the back and were informed that all of those were off the menu that day. My partner simply asked for a mild lamb curry. When it came out it was just a grey curry base with lamb and too hot with very little taste. My lamb on the bone in curry however wasn't too bad, and we ate them with spoons, as that was the only cutlery we were given. We quickly finished and got out of there vowing never to return and will look forward to the excellent Shababs or Imrans next time.

Attended a training course here and facilities were good, with the room not being too hot/cold or noise from outside. My advice is around the parking - although there is a large car park, there are multiple rooms available for use and if several are booked, you will experience problems finding a space as car park not large enough for multiple meetings. On road parking is very limited so lots of double parking going on and people blocked in. Therefore get there early to secure a space if you can't use public transport.
