Food quality no good service is no good

BE CAREFUL at this place they add in extra couple pound at the till when you go to pay then when you challenge it they apologise but this has happened to me quite few times here the food is amazing great flavours a bit pricey if I'm honest. So yeah always double check the price and calculate it yourself to stay on the safe side.

I called in for a collection and ordered a mix donner naan, masala fish on naan, chips, and a plain naan. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The masala fish was bland and lacked flavor, the chilli sauce was watery, and the chicken donner was also tasteless. I received fries instead of the chips I ordered, and the plain naan was missing entirely. To make matters worse, the staff serving were arrogant and unhelpful. The food is overpriced and not worth the time or money. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We ordered afew items only I don’t know how the price was so high.Everything was really cold even the cheese hadn’t melted in the burger..the taste was below average would not recommend it at all.

the food served to me was cold, and it was evident that the rice was not freshly prepared, as it appeared to be several days old. I was taken aback when I noticed an extra charge of £10 on my bill, which was not clearly communicated verbally or on the menu. I expected to be informed of any additional costs before being charged.

Beef steak is very very very low quality please don't eat it only waste of money

Ordered 2 chicken grilled burgers from this place they put only I skinny strip of chicken in they give only bun and fries

Lovely food, the best masala fish. Seating area is good but it's cold.

Poor customer service. A very elder grandma was struggling to stand, they ignored her. Failed to serve her. We ordered for her and asked if hers could be packed and given to her right away, the guy refused to do this n was angry that I asked this of him. The guy with the hat on is extremely rude in there. Food is extremely over priced . They have no compassion or respect for their elders! Avoid

Last night had dinner with my friends and we are really disappointed by the taste of food portion of food and the way the restaurant staff behaved with us, zero sense if customer dealing above all i foud a physical contaminant( human hair) in biryani which they claimed this happens means no sense of food hygiene at all. Zero recommendatins wasted 70 pounds there

Food was not all that. I had never been here before, so I thought let's grab something from this place, but to be honest, I didn't really enjoy eating my food

Food was nice but was pricier than I expected

Food was very poor quality, falooda taste like plain milk, no flavour what so ever. The guy working there had very little English, very hard to explain what I wanted. Staff had no kitchen clothing on, one guy wearing a full Nike tracksuit grilling chicken and lamb chops, walking up and down the restaurant. No chef hats or gloves or utensils when touching different meats. Never again!

I’ve never seen a more anorexic chicken burger in my life. The patty was as thin as paper, barely covered in batter.

Staff very good,the guy who is taking money on the till has no clue about customer service,he thinks he a boss,never coming here again

The foods decent, a bit overpriced but the worst thing is the guy that takes the order (clean shaven) very rude. He has no manners and when you say you want to make a card payment its like as if you asked for a discount from him. He looks at you as if your dirt under his shoe.

The food was really nice on this occasion. However, the pricing was very steep. London prices in Alum Rock.

Food was lovely fresh cod masala fish and a tikka mix in naan lovely and we enjoyed it went with family

We have been visiting this place for over 20 yrs. Even to this day the standards are just as high and food excellent as the years go on. Our particular favourites are the cheese burger, chicken grill burgers. The seekh kebab and naans are the best. The fries are absolutely amazing. With so much variety on Alum rock the best food and if you want value for money Lahore kebab house is the best. Still the best food on Alum rock.

Overpriced dishes that will make you wish you had brought a packed lunch. Seriously, consider bringing your own snacks

Went for eid with family for a bite to eat, great atmosphere and door was excellent with exceptional taste. Would recommend this establishment for food and prices.. would rate as 10/10

Ate from here many a time in the past... This occasion ordered masala fish with fries, wah wah burger, lamb chops and a chicken breast burger Cod masala was lacking in taste slightly, seems like it is marinated differently. Wah wah burger was nice and tasty. Lamb chops were marinated nicely but unfortunately abit chewy. Chicken burger was alright in fairness. In my opinion it is not what it used to be, quality, taste and flavour wise....

Horrible food. Expensive. Moody owner This place was good 20 years ago. NOT ANYMORE!! NO WONDER ITS DEAD IN THERE. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Really rotten food, you can see same food sitting in the front display fridge for days, staff has bad attitude, has no respect for customers.

Golden oldie, but never misses in the food and especially for the price

Old school place thought I would visit this after many years away, Did not disappoint the food was lovely the place has had an uplift and is more modern and family orientated now. Quality of food is lovely the only negatives they don't take card a day didn't bring the food together but was overall a great experience, will be going back oh and the tea was lovely too, use to be on the house but not anymore haha

Worst food ever had lamb Kadai without meat all bones .when I asked the staff he arrogantly replied that we serve this type of food only please avoid this place. Terrible service

Customer service at this so called 'restaurant' is non-existent. The food that was served was inedible, cheeseburger was burnt to a crisp. Dont come here, this is the wrong lahore to eat from. Go across the road.

Delicious food and quick service

No transparency in bill. Order Faloda in it was disaster. Wants to Oder more items but than decide to leave. 6 ice cream(only 1 flovor is really good) and 3 faloda cost me £34.5 too much high price. NOTHING MENTION ON BILL WHATS the cost of ice cream and faloda. Below below average never ever recommend to anyone.

Extremely poor, salad was a few days old , plates very dirty. The Chicken smells of something so probably old .Avoid this place.

Great place to eat for a quick lunch. Staff friendly . Food cooked perfection . Great menu. Clean wasn't crowded as it was early Sunday afternoon.

We had dinner today. Food was great but the behaviour of staff was ridiculous. Mannerless staff who showed arrogant behaviour towards us. No value for customer.

Pink tea used to be extremely good but it’s become more watery and testless. Burger meals are okey. Liked their chilli sauce.

Food was banging. Took a bit of time but really worth it. I wish they had a better selection of sauces but the food was good.

Masala fish and naan, been my staple for years...of course it's cold. Bit expensive but the portion makes up for it. Used to be complementary mint in a saucer and a jug of water, now u buy the water and the sauces come in a bottle, quite a battle if u ask me. Overall good service so can't fault them further.

Decent place, you won't get restaurant style service if eating in...will have to order at front first before sitting in & if you need tissue/cutlery will have to get up and get yourself..other than that food is good

Food was fresh and the cod fish was very nice

The taste was pleasant, ordered a large mix platter of the whole lot for family. We noted they handed dates when we broke our fast so that was kind of them. However 1 stars as I had the toilet runs the morning after 2x.

This place has it ups and down .. however it The classic go to place as per the elders .. my pops would take me here when I was in younger , when I got older I started going here it a propa blast from the past 90”s style Say that they do have a newer menu now they do pizza 🍕 and do sweet desserts they are open till late and later on the week end please call to confirm times I ordered chicken shish kabab, salad and naan it was delicious 😋 , the staff was friendly even though I don’t like the owner as we have argued in my younger day. 😂 But foods 10/10

I had their masala fish once, loved it but last night a I had chicken grilled chargha, really disappointed as it wasn't fresh at all. Due to which it wasn't tasty and wasn't cooked properly.

The stomach is really good, only a place to get it, I know. Other dishes are nice, too. It's a bit pricey. All halal

Got the chicken sizziler and naan was nice and fresh but the chicken pakora was a let down.

Had special donar and chips it honestly was fantastic 👌 fresh and tasty. Service was nice and friendly too.

Great food, especially the freshly made Kebabs with chapati and salad.

One of my favourite places on alum Rock Road to go to for a kebabish .family really enjoy the fresh succulent food that arrives on the table. Never fault it .love there mix grill tawa and donner kebab and fries special .friendly staff ...would recommend.

Best food shop on the Rock in my opinion. Ask for kebab meat cooked on the grill or hotplate in the spicy sauce and you will see why👌

Went there with family ‘food was a big 0 ‘ The service was REALLY BAD HAD TO ASK FOR Cutlery .. they put food on table and started talking away with each other and I had to get up and ask them for knife forks spoons.. really bad service and food !!! Lahore Restaurant on Alam Rock Road Birmingham is good Restaurant and takeaway. We go there Whenever we go to Birmingham. We like Fish fry, Seekh Kebab and Pink Tea.

We ordered reshmi kebab, they were very spicy. Chutney sauce helped me to reduce the spices in it. Chicken pakoras weren't good at all.

Disappointed to say the least, found 1 hair in my burger thought it was a one off then found multiple hairs inside the second burgers chicken. Looks like the issue ran with prep. Dips were more or less empty

Mediocre food. Dropped its standards from the time I used to go here regular. Ordered Sheesh kebab and a roasted & Thigh with nan. Sheesh kebabs were slightly burnt and the leg was ok flavourise. Salad let me down a lot it was literally pick of lettuce. That's not a salad they should rename it lettuce only. Please improve.

Was a bit of a letdown to be honest. Grilled donner burger was decent, portion of donner inside was okay. Fries weren’t really tasty, never had that crunch to them. Chilli sauce is nice but the Mayo was abysmal, not sure if they make it like that or what but to me it felt off. Service wise it was good.

Wow! If this is a LARGE portion of masla fish and nan. Then, i cant even begin to imagine what a small portion looks like. The nan was an actual roti, barely soft and not fresh, it was so small it barely contained the small masala fish. The masala wasnt spicy at all and looked old. Taste wise it barely tasted like masala fish. Very disappointed and the price, well, 7.50 for what i would call a small portion at best. In simple, skanked. This used to be a good place - 19 years ago. Not anymore. I'd been ripped off here before. When ordering we thought it was New Lahore kebab house but upon arrival i learnt it was this place. Generally, the food quantity and quality on Alum rock rd has really gone down hill and this place epitomises that.

The prices on just eat and uber eats is ridiculous! Hope the same prices are not in the shop! What’s so special about adding chili sauce on top of donner and grilling it? £20 for two burgers lol where when and how? Unacceptable prices really need to take a deep look into your pricing and portions. To add to your reply... no it is not the chili sauce you provide tastes exactly like your “in house sauce that you add onto your donner” anyways that’s not the point your portions are small and you charge top end prices for average food... I don’t pay that much whilst eating in Birmingham city centre and your based where alum rock charging £10 a burger? Makes no sense... you’ve got plenty of complaints on your just eat platform... stuff missing and small portions same thing again and again by different customers...
