We’ve been coming here for the last year and we tell everyone how marvellous the food and service is. We come on week nights and also weekends and the service is always top notch. If you haven’t been do come and try the restaurant out. We wish that we started coming here sooner as it is a firm favourite of ours.

Delicious food, friendly service, the chef, who is from Italy, prepared outstanding dishes all 3 of us ordered. Went there twice in one week, that's how good the food is.

Came here for my friends birthday, the food was soo nice best pasta dish I’ve had in a restaurant and the staff were really friendly. I bought a cake for my friends birthday and they came out with candles in it and some instruments and sung happy birthday for her. It’s a family owned restaurant and had a nice warm feel to it, would definitely recommend and go back.

Lovely local restaurant, the food was lovely, prices were good value and the service was great. I came here with my boyfriend and we ordered the mussels, bruschetta, pizza pollo, salmon pasta and the cheesecake. All the food was delicious, they have a lovely wine menu, good vibe and we were very surprised at the end when our food was much cheaper than we expected. We very much enjoyed our evening and will be returning!

Ten of us ate here on Thursday evening and we couldn’t fault the meal. We all had beer and/or wine, starters, mains, sweets, coffee and limoncello. Service was attentive and friendly and several have already said they want to return. Everything was excellent, witnessed by ten empty plates at the end of each course. The highlight was our main courses, superb swordfish, luscious linguini and stunning steaks. The complimentary limoncello rounded off a most enjoyable evening.

6 of us went for an evening meal midweek. Good menu, a warm welcome and friendly service. The food arrived in good time and was delicious. We all enjoyed the evening and will be going back again.

My wife and I went to La Zingara on spec (aided by Tripadvisor reviews) for a wedding anniversary meal. We were not disappointed. It is a family-run restaurant with husband as chef and wife as a friendly and attentive front of house. The cooking was very good and matched by the service. We will be back.

Our first but certainly not our last visit to this little gem. All of our meals selected from an extensive menu were delicious and served by the wonderful owner. All dishes clearly freshly cooked, and well presented. My calamari was the best I have ever had and I cannot remember having eaten of better risotto. Their was a god choice on the drinks menu.

Had an amazing evening at La Zingara. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. We asked for veggie food that wasn’t on the menu and the chef made two of us a delicious veggie risotto. The meat and fish dishes were also winners with the rest of our group. Unfortunately I was just visiting the area , otherwise this would be a weekly favourite. Thanks for keeping us all happy. Highly recommend.

7 of us went here for dinner before going to Ascot the next day. Everything was excellent. The food was all really good and they even made 2 of us something not on the menu. The puddings were amazing The owner was so much fun and made the evening more special. Thank you for putting up with us .

What a fantastic find! Warmly welcomed and looked after from start to finish. The owner Allison had us feeling like family with her great sense of humour, conversation and personality. The authentic looking menu hooked us before booking but after hearing the chef and other owner and our new friend's husband's background... but THE FOOD!!! Sweet Jesus.... Hold me! To start I had a Sardines followed by the fillet Gorgonzola and my companion had prawns then peppercorn steak. UTTERLY unbeatable. Don't hesitate to go here. We will be back again and again.
