La Vita Spuntini City Centre in Glasgow City

The food was genuinely great but unfortunately completely overshadowed by the appalling service. We had a reservation yet waited 40 minutes past our booking time to be seated, with no explanation or even a single apology offered (and didn’t see them give one to anyone else either as there were lots of us in the same situation). They clearly overbooked and their lack of customer service made it x10 worse. The hostess managing bookings was shockingly rude, not just to us but to several other customers (we watched at least four people leave the queue). It’s a shame, because the food deserves better and I’ve loved previous visits here but I doubt I will be returning anytime soon as it spoiled our dinner.

We went for the fixed price menu on a weeknight, it was a girls night before a concert. Staff were lovely and really attentive, cocktails amazing and reasonably priced and the food was absolutely delicious, we got the tapas style portions, really light and great for sharing. Loved it and would definitely return! Thank you!

Lovely Italian restaurant in the centre of Glasgow. They have an extensive menu ranging from the usual pizza and pasta dishes to an extensive selection of main courses. The pasta tapas is what we went. Delicious small portions - perfect!

The food is delicious, the products are of high quality. The service is nice and helpful.

Lovely establishment and the food is excellent. Service is really good and fast and the price is very reasonable. Been there several times already and will again in the future, in fact going again next week.

We both opted for the 3 items for £15. I had spaghetti bolognese, 5" pepperoni pizza and meatballs in tomato sauce. My wife had bruschetta, penne pasta in a creamy sauce and mussels. We added a portion of fries and cheesy garlic bread. With a pint of Peroni and a pink gin and lemonade to wash it all down. The food was excellent and we had great service. It's a place I would definitely recommend, we will certainly be back.

Found plastic cling film in my pizza at the end of my meal and was forced to pay for it in the end because “I ate most of the pizza”. Genuinely cannot believe they forced us to pay for food with plastic - keeping in mind the piece of plastic was least 1.5 inches and could have easily choked someone. Would obviously not recommend unless you’d like to pay for a health hazard ? —- Replying to La Vita: Cannot believe you are accusing us of lying about our duration, “verbally assaulting staff”, and then accusing us of placing plastic on our food? Why would we be carrying spare bits of plastic in my bag? The logic here is an absolute joke 😂 We were there for a total of 2.5 hours, 0.5 of which we were actually eating. The rest was waiting for your staff to “call the boss” to ask what to do next. There was no one actually at the restaurant making decisions regarding this situation or acting as a manager. We flagged the piece of plastic to the waiter as soon as I was able the get his attention. Additionally, “pristine” plastic is a complete joke - the plastic was covered in olive oil with a piece of basil/pesto (not sure what exactly, it was a green bit). “Verbally assaulting” staff is an absolute lie yet again. During the entire unpleasant situation, not once have we said anything personal or negative except from the fact that we didn’t want to pay for food with plastic in it. I even stated TWICE that all the staff are lovely and it’s no one’s fault it’s just a bad situation. May I know how that comes across as assault? Don’t you have CCTV in the restaurant? Please check your footage before you start lying about what actually happened. The fact that you are unable to take any accountability of this situation says a lot. It is lucky no one was seriously injured in this situation. I genuinely hope no one ends up in the same situation I was in. Can you imagine if I had not spotted the clear plastic in my food and proceeded to eat it? Check your CCTV footage, stop spreading lies and take some accountability. We are all adults here.

Very very busy, very noisy but great food, service was good but felt like we were being rushed.

We waited over 20 minutes for table even arriving early for booking, then being asked to move tables (with promise of something off the bill) then waiting another 20 minutes for order to be taken for food. Then when bill arrived was offered small liquor instead if something off the bill which was refused as some of our party were not drinking. After a lot of back and forward they eventually took the price of 2 drinks were taken off the bill, in between our meal we were remind when the table had to be freed by (not our fault bad organising of bookings). First visit for me and will certainly be the last very disappointed after recommendation.

Fantastic food and service. One of the best Italians I have ever been too. So much variety in choices to have as tapas dishes to share. Great quality couldn’t recommend more! Special thanks to Amore and Tre who were gave us exceptional customer service with a very friendly approach!

Rancid Restaurant Do Not Eat Here Yes the restaurant is decorated to a high standard but be aware of the rancid food that’s served or the hygiene of the place. My family of two adults and a year old had lunch and following that having shared all the food all three were seriously violently sick for 48 hours. Most certainly food poisoning. Avoid this place. I will be contacting environmental health as there’s been several people Iv talked to sho have also been violently sick after being in this rancid restaurant

Found plastic in the food and was forced to pay for it! My partner found plastic in her food and in the end was told she had to pay for it as she’d eaten most of it. If you’ve ever been here you’d know the portion sizes are tiny and the pizza is cut into 2 slices. She left over half of her slice after finding the plastic- so she had only eat half of her portion. I had eaten the other half of the pizza- before knowing that the crust had plastic in it. We ended up spending over 1.5 hours chatting to numerous staff and managers to ask why we have to pay for the pizza and the only response was “you eat most of it so you have to pay”. They did offer “complimentary” coffee which seemed like a nice gesture but were then told the coffee is close to equivalent price of the pizza so we were offered that to offset the plastic issue! Ironically I don’t drink coffee so I had asked for hot chocolate instead, which of course I didn’t drink at all after finding out it wasn’t really complimentary at all. The customer service was atrocious and the female manager was very rude, actually haven’t dealt with anyone ruder in all my time In Glasgow. I have been a regular customer here over the years but will never be back again. If you do go here make sure to fully check every bit of your food before you eat as if you have eat over 50% of the food you’ll be paying for it even if you choke on plastic! —- Edit after owner review: can’t believe the lies on the reply from the owner with 0 accountability- unsurprising though considering the owner wasn’t on the premises and is just trying to cover the story in a better reflection. I have decided I will report the incident to food standards agency and I hope they can go through the cctv and check the events or at least be in touch. I’ll not reply to every point but a few points: 1. pizza wasn’t finished, 1.5 slices (out of 4) went back to the waiter. Not that this should matter since the issue is plastic in the food, not how much was eaten. 2. The plastic had basil on it and again I would love for you to go through cctv and verify this- without just saying slander with 0 checking. If you decide to watch it back you will see my partner cutting the dough and pulling out plastic and putting it on the plate. 3. Lying about previous bookings again is strange, not that I need to prove anything but I can give you multiple previous bookings with a few different names on them which I of course won’t do on a public forum. Mainly as I have been to the one in bishopbriggs a good few times with my family. Again not that it matters. 4. There was no verbal abuse and I didn’t mention putting in a bad review (I’ve actually never put in a Google review before but felt obligated to yesterday), this is just a straight up lie and not sure where this has came from? If this has come from the female manager then please ask the other waiters/ servers to verify this as it is not a good look for the manager to straight up lie about the encounter. I was chatting to the waiter right before we left and said to him that there’s no issues with him- as he was extremely nice to us during the whole situation. In fact my partner had to stop the female manager blaming the other manager for being ‘misleading’- and we said that is not the case and the first manager we dealt with was very nice to us and no fault was with him. The only issues I had was with the female manager and of course the owners who were making decisions over a phone call without being there. Never dealt with food standards agency so not sure the process, but maybe will be in touch again.

Returning customer. Fabulous lunch and cocktails in a centrally located venue to suit all our party . Food, drinks and service are first class. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Been once before at Christmas and it was amazing, always wanted to come back. Booked for 7pm this evening and when we arrived we were seated at the bar as no tables. We were asked if we wanted a drink as we waited but we chose not to thinking our table would be ready soon. 20 minutes later the manager came to show us to our table and I asked if it was upstairs to which she replied yes. I said I didn't want to sit upstairs to which she was accepting of and said she would seat us at the next table downstairs. It then reached 30 minutes and we decided to leave and go elsewhere. No complaints regarding staff and obviously good for them being busy but with a reservation you'd think you'd get a decent seat and that the table would be ready for your arrival. La vita has great food but the way they cram you in on top of one another is really unsettling, I won't go to the one at george square because of this and now sadly spuntini is the same for me.

Second time dining here in a matter of weeks, we couldn't wait to get back. Food is 10/10, been with different sets of people and ate different foods and everyone loved it. The atmosphere is beautiful and the service is 10/10 also. Will definitely visit again soon

This is one of the top destinations in Glasgow. The food and atmosphere are exceptional. We tried the lemon mint mojitos, which were fantastic. I highly recommend the pizza, spaghetti, pasta, and risotto—all served with Parmesan cheese.

Great little hidden gem, close to central station. If you like Italian food and a tapas style dining this is the place for you!! Delicious food, friendly staff and nice setting.

We were met at front of restaurant and sidled to a very cramped corner and offered drinks. Manageress informed us that they were very busy. We had booked a table for 6 people at 20.00. After a few complaints we were shown to our table 40 minutes later. After another 20 minutes our orders were taken. Staff were very pleasant. The food was soso. Overall I will not be rushing back. If you can't handle the orders don't take the bookings.

Very disappointing experience, having been a semi-regular years ago and not having been for a few years. I had fond memories of this place, but this was an awful experience. The waiters are mostly disinterested, a few I recognise as having been there for years. Ordered several dishes; the tapas arrived but the main pasta dish never turned up by the time we finished the tapas. The waiter said he 'forgot to tell the kitchen' (even thought he read it back to us and wrote it down at the time). My partner had mussels (£1.50 surcharge) and half the shells were completely empty! And the others were quite gristly. The waiter did not seem shocked that there were no mussels in the mussels and was not apologetic. I remembered the arancini being round balls covered in light breadbcrumb - now they're like dense flat dumplings and not very pleasant. And at £3.50 for a soft drink in a restaurant I'd expect a can or a bottle, not watery draught rubbish. We did receive an apology at the end, both verbal and in the way of a free drink (ironically, more of the draught juice that we didn't really enjoy) but it was all a little too late. There is nothing worse than leaving a restaurant feeling disappointed, and that you've wasted not just money but the opportunity to go somewhere better. Perhaps the regulars haven't noticed a gradual decline in service or quality, but after a few years away it's more than noticeable. Won't be coming back I'm afraid, La Spuntini is a memory best left in the past. 1 star for the experience, an extra star for the decor and ambience.

Great atmosphere Friendly staff Excellent food and generous portions

Woman at front off house desk was quite rude and made us feel almost unwelcome when we presented her with a voucher that was for 2 x 3 course dinner and premier wine. Tried to tell us it was only for £10 and that the voucher wasn't valid for spuntini. Mistake on her behalf was soon rectified by another knowledgeable member of staff. Left us with a bad taste before we even started and no apology from the woman. Poor show :-(

The Food was outstanding, every bite delicious. We were served by Niladni and service was second to none, timing perfect from taking orders to each course to checking we were ok. The Atmosphere was really pleasant relaxed and decor very pretty too. Highly recommend dining here, cocktails were fantastic too

The best pasta I’ve ever had was not from Venice or from Rome but from Glasgow! We’ve been to Spuntini’s 3 times now and every time the food has been fantastic! The cocktail menu is also fab with lots to choose from. They do a tapas style or you can get big plates letting you choose a combination of dishes. You will want to as everything sounds good! You can also choose what type of pasta you want your dish to be made with which is a great touch. The decor is lovely with flowers and it’s always friendly and buzzing with other diners. Make sure to wear layers as it’s always been warm everytime we have been. Staff are all friendly and have a story to tell. Lovely place will be back on each visit to Glasgow

An overall below average experience at this restaurant. Although able to get a table for 3 without a reservation the initial service was quite slow. The food did arrive relatively quickly but the food quality was below what was expected. Despite having a range of dishes everything tasted the same and was very bland. This is unusual based on previous experiences of Spuntini so maybe it was just an off night.

Came here on our staff Christmas night out which was a party of 12. When booking we weren’t told it was only the festive menu, but when we got to the table that’s all that was there. We asked if we could order for the normal menu and told no cause of the size of party, but then told if the tables were split into tables of 4 we could have. What’s the difference?? The waiter then said if it was only 1 or 2 people ordering from it that would be fine but would be charge the festive menu price. One girl wanted lasagne which was £8/9 but we were charged nearly £40 for it!!! Near enough every person left most of their food, that was including pastas, turkey and risotto. Even the cocktails were horrible, the passion fruit martini was like sour water. Definitely won’t be returning, especially if it’s a larger groupz

I was quite looking forward to the tapas idea as I had not seen many Italian places that would do small pasta plates to share. Sadly the food was quite bland, and was strange to get ravioli with so much chilli flakes, that's all I could taste. I ordered the prawns and mussels rissoto and asked for no mussels, though I didn't expect the chef to freestyle it and add calamari, squid and clams that were not mentioned on the menu for that particular dish, and without asking if I wanted to replace the mussels for those. Luckily I had no allergies to any of these. My partner also ordered a drink and it only came when we had already finished eating and we asked for the bill

Had a booking for 5.30pm and come 5.50pm we were still waiting and the staff hasn’t even spoken to us! The service was terrible and the staff member that did eventually speak to us was so rude, even remarking “what do you want me to do about it?” And then shrugged. Ruined my birthday. DO NOT GO HERE!

Very busy, warm and loud. Worth getting a reservation if you are wanting to go. Did not enjoy the food quality, in general it was all pretty flavourless and seemed to be missing seasoning. Pizza also came out undercooked.

Food was fabulous, service from one older waiter was friendly but the other staff seemed grumpy and rude.

We came as a family group booking. 5x adults and 2x kids. Atmosphere was merry with people doing last minute Christmas shopping/festivities. Staff were accommodating whilst we waited on our table being ready. The food was honestly delicious. Tapas style dishes went down a treat: lasagne, pork belly and the ox tail were the highlights. Margarita pizza was so good too! The kids meal came with ice-cream and this was a highlight for them. One of our party had allergies and the kitchen kindly put little flags in her dishes which was so nice. If you order a dessert make sure it’s the churros, might be stuffed after the food, but always room for dessert! Kaileigh/kaylee, our server was a superstar with her service - went above and beyond. Will definitely be back to Spuntini again to try more amazing dishes & the churros.

The food was absolutely gorgeous here! We had a good selection so we could try many things and really struggled to finish! The drinks were fab too! My only drawback was the heat when it's so busy, it was really warm we were all sweating in the middle of November because we were upstairs and it was mobbed. Aside from that though absolutely stunning food and great service too!

Lovely restraunt, mia casa pasta was my favourite. The restraunt itself felt a little crammed but overall a nice meal.

If I didn't know you can get much nicer food for almost half the price a walking distance away, I may rate it higher. A non tapas main is £20, their Christmas menu is more expensive than buying items individually. Food took an hour to come out (about 40 minutes for starter and 20 for main afterwards once plates were cleared). The food itself was fine, very unexceptional. Ultimately just no reason to choose this restaurant over the many other lovely Italian pasta or pizza places in the centre.

I'm not a big fan of Italian food (sorry!), but I did enjoy my visit here. I am advised that if you love Italian grub then you WILL enjoy this place.

Service not great as we didn't get drinks for over an hour and we then had to vacate our table as we had been there nearly 1.5 hrs, we were also charged for a round of drinks we never got. It was a busy Saturday and I understand the pressure but I felt the upstairs tables got left out where drinks were concerned. Food was excellent, portions are large for tapas.

We ordered 6 small plates between us to share. The lasagne was really good, as was the arancini. I wouldn’t order the pizza again, lacking flavour in my opinion. It was extremely warm in the restaurant which did slightly ruin our dining experience if I’m honest. The watermelon margarita was lovely.

Very busy restaurant with not a lot of room in between tables. You feel like you're sharing the table next to you because you're so close. Food was okay but not the best Italian food I've tasted. Wouldn't rush back.

OK - so came here in 2021 whilst spending a couple of months in Glasgow with work - visited about 5 times and the experience was very good/excellent. Visited this evening - I won’t be in a hurry to come back. Here is my experience for the benefit of other diners on the medium-high pricing range - £130 for three starters, two mains, two glasses of wine each, one cocktail. Table of 2. First drink - Margarita cocktail (£11) was very poor in comparison to previous visits - arrived on a silver tray where the drink had clearly been spilled, salt was down the side of the glass rather than on the rim. Clearly made by somebody with no experience in cocktail prep as quantities of ingredients/method all wrong - to the point it was difficult to drink. The arancini served as one of three starters was poor - temperature issues and generally bland in comparison to previous visits (was a favourite). The tomato based sauce (the same one that accompanied all three starters) had little flavour and lukewarm. The other two starters were nice and I would have again (stuffed focaccia and bread crumb mozzarella). Ordered the Steak and Lobster/Surf & Turf for main (I’d had this on every previous visit), ordered medium-rare and it arrived well done. Served on a cold plate which meant the mussels and lobster were cold after a minute or so. No shell dish or finger bowl provided - had to ask for a bowl for mussel shells. Think the balsamic over powered the mussels and lobster too - all to make it look fancy rather than a consideration to taste. The other main course - half chicken (small serving) was again lukewarm - came with a very generic gravy that was again… lukewarm. Polenta chips were not crispy and fell apart at the fork. The wine was nice (Primitivo and Sauv Blanc) - would be good to put their origin on the menu (Italy/New Zealand etc). The young tall male waiter was very pleasant and attentive (description so compliments can be passed) - knowledgeable about the menu and wine, and followed up when drinks took a long time to come. He’s the reason the overall rating is 2/5 and not 1/5. Don’t agree with the disruption to the whole of the mezzanine because one person on a big table has a birthday. I get the whole one table singing happy birthday to their friend, but the “everyone pay attention, it’s someone’s birthday etc etc” is just not appropriate when other diners are out to have a relaxing meal, in an already loud restaurant. If other diners want to join in then that’s fine, but purposefully calling out to other tables and disrupting for 2-3 minutes is not OK and outdated. Overall, was disappointed and I hope that someone in management takes note of this review - you had it so right every time when I previously visited. Please refocus on doing great food, great drinks and excellent service. You will have a great product. I’m not one to make a fuss over poor standards when you’re entertaining company, it ruins the vibe and is considered rude. Nobody asked how my experience was when I was paying - not even the manager who brought our bill - otherwise I would have been open to giving some constructive feedback at the time. Maybe I’ll revisit in another three years and update this review, but for now, it won’t be anytime soon.

Asked for a gluten free menu and got a book of things with allergens in it found the staff not very helpful at all . Just make it simple and have a gluten free menu

I've been a few times and the food is always very good. It's so handy for the Central station as well.

In my opinion I wouldn’t really rate this establishment for something nice to eat. I wouldn’t waste your money. I would go elsewhere. Could do better. We were in here as a family for my son’s 16th birthday on Sunday the 3rd March 2024 at 16.30. It Wasn’t really a friendly atmosphere. Food was ok, not a lot of pancetta ham on the pizza even though you pay a supplement for this pizza. My son and myself got jimmy style, think they take portion control a bit too far. We liked the bread starter. The coquettes were very greasy. I much prefer la vita in George square a better menu choice and a friendlier atmosphere. We were served our main course and we weren’t asked if we wanted Parmesan or black pepper. We had to try and get a waiter’s attention to ask for this. I went to the male toilets there was a strong smell of urine in the toilets. It turned my stomach. It could be doing with a clean and a bit of disinfectant. It was Very off putting.

First time eating in here with friends and I'll definitely be back. We got seated in a booth that had beautiful flowers all around making a lovely atmosphere and we ordered from the tapas menu and there's so many choices and the portion sizes were much better than I expected. I'd highly recommend.

👎👎👎 Not a good experience about the order. We came for the first time to order two pastas with small sizes. One girl is so nice to describe the size of the bowl. Because it was lunch time and it's not so good for having a full lunch for exploring the city, we confirmed that we need both small sizes. When the food came, I didn't truly realise the bowl had different sizes and I have no hesitation to taste the food. That's the next story and I will tell you what happened next. 🍽️ Now we talk about the food first - too much olive oil is used, it's too greasy, and the seasoning steals the style of the food. The seafood pasta has lost the freshness of the mussels. Risotto cooked to the point of sticking to the teeth, hard to swallow but losing flavor. Sangria, probably due to the base wine, tasted very bitter and I don't think it was my favorite flavor. I tried to swallow the so-called risotto but my stomach seems to be filled fully. I finally realised that it may have the wrong size of my food. The bill also confirmed my suspicions. 🥲 I didn't express any intention of arguing about the bill, but I just wanted to express some of my complaints about placing the wrong order, so I expressed this to the waiter, who put me on hold and got their manager, a middle-aged woman. This was the most unpleasant part of my entire dining experience and the reason why I rated their service 0 out of 10! 💢 The manager came over and after listening to my complaint, she arrogantly said "You should notice the size of the bowl. Once you find the mistake you should tell me." trying to blame me for their waiter's mistake. 😅 (What?) After I heard those words I was so angry that I fainted. I said, "It's my first time in your restaurant, how am I supposed to know the size of your bowl? I will pay the bill, but your attitude of blaming me made me very unhappy." The lady pissed me off and ruined my whole Glasgow trip today!💢 Thinking back to when we first walked in the door and waited to be greeted by a waiter at the entrance of the restaurant, this manager was the first to see us, we asked her for a seat for two. What this manager did was she picked up two menus that were at the reception and spoke in a commanding tone to one of her staff for about 30 seconds and told him to lead us to an empty seat. She didn't have a single conversation with us, and all of it showed that she doesn't have the concept of equality, doesn't love her job and doesn't know how to communicate with customers. I don't have a particular feeling about the other waiters 👍, they were nice to me as well as respectful when I asked some questions and gave my opinion, instead the experience reminded me of these bad bosses in the workplace who are in positions of power and maliciously bully others. I would not recommend a restaurant like this.👎👎👎

Very tasty food in a charming restaurant with very friendly staff.

We had an amazing time with the family, delicious food, big portions, the chicken from kids menu was good quality and tasty, high level service, great mood shared by the people working in there, and nice italian music. Absolutely great restaurant. Will definitely visit again

Excellent food, I had the pork belly with Mediterranean vegetables and it was delicious. The waiting staff were fantastic but the female manager left a lot to be desired. Ignored when arrived at restaurant waiting to be seated, having obvious cross words with staff next to our table and waitress in tears. I could go on but enough said.

Great food, first visit, certainly won't be the last. Service was excellent, very varied menu, what could be better.

Penne Arabiata was was delicious and would highly recommend the Terry's chocolate orange pudding - Amazing!

I asked waiter how many pasta dishes should we order from the tapas option. Three. Turns out. They're not small, so three was far too much food. We got last table on a walk in which was great but it was right beside the hatch at bar. Which squeaked & was in use pretty much constantly. The restaurant is lovely, well decorated & the food is excellent. Just wish we'd ordered less of it as hate waste (food & money).

Didn't get sat at a table for 10 minutes after we arrived. The service took another 10 minutes to order our drinks and the waiter left so quick we couldn't order food despite being ready (our menus were closed). Another 10 minutes go by and we finally order food. The starter was advertised as focaccia bread but we got 2 squares of this with 2 slices of french baguettes and bread sticks. The mains (pastas) were fine. Waited 20 minutes for dessert after ordering it. Nobody asked if we needed a top up of drinks, took ages to clear our table etc. The toilets were disgusting for it being such a nice looking restaurant! All in all disappointing experience.

Kayleigh our server was fabulous. So helpful & accommodating. Food from set menu was great & cocktails were very nice. Would highly recommend .

Overall, amazing! Me and my gf went there not too long ago for a wee date. Food was amazing, we got served very quickly and it's Glasgow atmosphere, what do you expect?😎👍🏻

The food is really tasty and we easily got a table without a reservation. But the service could be better.

Staff could barely speak English, nor understand it.

If I am honest, was a bit disappointed with the quality food returning a year ago. Meatballs were a bit dense and pasta overcooked as opposed to al dente. Pizza and calamari was excellent and in my view the saving grace. Service was not bad certainly not as good as the previous visit although sitting opposite a draft upstairs didn’t help.

I was here on Saturday for lunch with a friend and wasn't impressed. This is my 3rd visit but won't be in a hurry to come back . We had the table next to the stairs and toilet . Not the best with everyone wanting past but my biggest complaint was the service . The place is so busy they just can't keep up with all the tables and forget about you. The food is ok but the whole experience was a bit manic.

It's ok, handy for Central Station.The menu is vast and I'm not sure that translates to quality across the board.It's the selling points of small plates of food, but there's something slightly weird about eating a toddler size pizza. Would prefer smaller menu to be honest.

Went for dinner and drink before our concert (which got cancelled) we got the tapas and it was amazing. Love the mushroom pasta and rice balls but everything was amazing and the daiquiris (one alcoholic, one non) were yummy. The servers were great and polite and lovely, great experience all round. Will be back for my birthday dinner.

I took my family to Spuntini for my Graduation dinner as I have been to the restaurant a few times before and have enjoyed everything about it. However, this meal was an absolute disgrace. Firstly, we were sat at 7pm, it took over one hour for our drinks to arrive and no apologies from the waiting staff at all. Then, a while later our starters arrived (waiting time NOT acceptable). Before our starters were even taken off of our table, our main course started to arrive with the table cluttered with starter plates and empty glasses. As a previous waitress what sort of standard is this !?. My grandads order was incorrect, the staff did not listen to the specific pasta that he requested to go with his dish, but the staff insisted that that was what he ordered but it was not, the staff were wrong but did not take fault (although they listened to my grans request ?). My mother ordered the Pennette Spuntini to which was disgusting. The pasta was solid and not Al dente the waitress took it away and then gave it back and the flavours of this dish was not enjoyable. My dad also ordered tbis dish and did not enjoy it but ate it because he was hungry due to the long wait time. This dish did not live up to expectations. During the main course, my grandad left the table to go to the bar to find staff to order another round of drinks to which they forgot the bottle of red wine and had to be reminded 20 minutes later. There was no remorse from the staff for their countless mistakes, there was no compensation offered whether it be money off the bill or free drinks or free dessert or even an apology. My gran tried to reach the manager to which she was blatantly ignored. I am so deeply disappointed and embarrassed I took my family here the restaurant knew it was my special graduation day as I said on the booking and it was a complete shambles. Thankyou for tarnishing a good day, clearly profit over customer value and service is apparent within your business. The restaurant should re-evaluate how many covers they can handle.

Foods good and a bit different from norm but 35mins for a drink is poor. If the town hadn't been mobbed because of concert we would have left.

Very, very busy and noisy place. Not very welcoming at the door but the serving staff were good.

Food was top! No complaints Manager at this branch and the way she runs the place was horrendous. I'm process of lodging a formal complaint. Because she was more than just rude... hopefully someone from the staff replies back. Not to forget very slow service, dont expect to order for atleast 30mins after the menues were handed out. Plates took a long time to be taken away, just overall very slow for a Tuesday evening. Service of this place really puts a downer on the overall restaurant (mainly the manager who was seen bossing around the staff so so rudely like it's not the 80's you dont own the place! treat people with respect a blank face no smile and an extremely loud rude tone wont get you anywhere) food like I said was top class.

Fantastic food in a lovely restaraunt, great friendly staff. Highly recommed the daytime tasting menu allowing you to try a few small dishes for food you may never have tried before.

Last night waited over 15mins for service, was handed menu. Therefore left, shocking service.

Over priced food for small portions terrible service, rude employees. Never again

Gluten Free options good, a bit pricey for a Chicken Carbonara, but it was tasty. No Gluten free desserts available.
