Mia Casa was very runny and watery. The last few orders I’ve had from Lavita have been poor.

Food was great and was hot when it arrived.

We had amazing day and birthday meal for my daughter Megan today we just love the staff they make us feel like special guests everytime we come to amazing la vita restaurant the food is awesomeness plus James and the team sang happy birthday to Megan they made it so special without even asking everything just amazing I cannot fault them and look back to returning soon for my birthday in June. Thank you all so much the managers should be so proud of all the staff from cooks to cleaners waiters and waitresses and management if you have not tried this awesome restaurant you are missing out i would Diffenty book now desserts 🍮 pretty awesome they do amazing lunch deals there’s a three course for under £20 pounds on Saturday and Sundays great range of wines beers cocktails much more x🥰 and if you can finish you have an have a la vita doggy bag so nothing goes to waste this restaurant is amazing with kids real Italian 🇮🇹 hospitality the owners are family oriented very friendly so book in now and have some amazing food enjoy ☺️

Please be aware there's a 2 hour maximum stay here. And the clock starts from when your booking is, or when you sit down - whichever is first. It isn't from when the order is taken or food is served. Despite a pleasant atmosphere, my granddad's meal was ruined. The table was booked for a 3 course meal. The table was booked for 2 hours. However, Half an hour of that was waiting for someone to take the order. A further half an hour was waiting to get food. This left only 1 hour to get through 3 courses. 1 hour for an 88 your old and his friends to enjoy the experience. They didn't have time to finish dessert, it was just binned. Feedback for management: please either: Extend the booking to 2.5 hours, -Serve faster (with more staff), or -Clarify the exact time the table needs to be given up by e.g "we will need the table back at 8pm” Any of these options should prevent future unfortunate misunderstandings. Thank you.

Was 21:40 I call restorant to order collection and someone said we are close now.i ask it “are you sure” he just confirmed yea we are close .i saw the time they actually closed on 22:00 and I was 10 years costumer on this restaurant

Do not order online from la vita. Took 2hours 25 minutes from order.Terrible service delivery wise. Need to be upfront with delivery times! Took ages to get through to restaurant to ask about order. Once contact was made they said order was on way. Still didn't arrive for another 15minutes!! House 5 minutes from restaurant. Was having family celebration hence went for delivery. Food itself ok let down by lukewarm at best pizza and fries

Ordered wasn’t ready had to wait extra 55 minutes. Two items missing from order. Pollo la vita missing potatoes from both orders.

Wow from the moment I push open the door of La Vita premises Bishopbriggs (mostly always Friday afternoons) I feel the love & respect from the staff (as if each & every one of them is the owner & has a vested interest in me & making me feel nothing is too much of a bother). I can tell their "clientele & most deliciously scrumcious food", is at the heart of their establishment. The minestrone, pasta dishes, strawberry tarts & pavlova taste as though they are made with love, thought & quality ingredients, This attention to detail is unparalleled with any restruant I have found in Scotland in my adulthood (I'm 56 years old!). I take my hat off to you La Vita & hope to return time & time again. Wishing you many more years of success. I never write reviews however I felt La Vita so deserved one. Date 15/03/25. Time of pick up 19.30. In my opinion I would avoid getting a takeaway’s from la Vita in Bishopbriggs. The takeaway portions are small. I ordered 3x penne Arrabbiata, I’ve tasted better in their restaurant. The sauce was more like a Napoli sauce there was no spice. It tasted the same as the sauce I got with the Focaccia Cosa Nostra. The prices are more or less the same as the restaurant prices. It should be the same standard and quality. Sorry but i definitely would not get another takeaway from this restaurant, what a total waste of money ☹️

absolutely beautiful again with la vita. hot fresh good quality cooking. spaghetti cabanara the risotto were cooked perfect. we had bruchetta with it too .

If the food wasn’t so good, I wouldn’t go back as the collection experience is so bad. Typically you will stand at the collection window for 10 minutes before anyone comes to serve you.

Phone restaurant told me to bring it back over ONLY for the manager to cause a scene wanting me to go inside the restaurant I said NO as it was to busy as i wanted to stay at the takeaway bit SHE was so rude shouting saying there was nothing wrong with it .with the restaurant door open and everyone looking to see what was going on So UNPROFESSIONAL unhelpful never replaced a thing Can't believe this service from one off my favourite restaurant since the day it opened

We ordered £60 of food from la vita which was extremely disappointing. We have ordered from la vita for years and have seen a gradual decline. Over two hours after placing the order food arrived, after a follow up call. Focaccia was burnt, one pasta was too soft, another too hard and one too dry. Emailed to complain and request refund as phone engaged, voicemail received but not followed up by the restaurant. Tried to call back but given problems in contacting la vita I’ve given up. As someone who has praised la vita in previous years I am dismayed to say I will never order from or dine in la vita again.

Food never disappoints, sticky jalapeno chicken starter is a must have, as is the Mia Casa pasta.

Ordered food then phoned the restaurant when the food was half an hour late. Was told my order was next to be delivered. Waited over an hour and called the restaurant back. Whilst on the phone the second time the order was delivered but when the food arrived obviously it had been lying under a hot plate for over an hour before it was delivered so the quality of the food was really poor. From placing the order to delivery was over 3 hours.

Placed order via Just Eat at 5:15pm. Food was delivered at 7:40, cold & soggy. Contacted restaurant who were totally uninterested. Very rude and didn’t offer even an apology let alone a gesture of goodwill. Never again 🤬

Absolutely shocking service ,thanks for ruining our valentines night ,waiting for 35 minutes to order then sat waiting for another 30 mins waiting for food while people who came in after us got there food ,left hungry and disgusted won't be going back

Long wait times for food. Took 2 hours to get and eat main and dessert.had to ask for the bill twice. Felt like we were forgotten about.

My husband took me here tonight for valentines dinner. We would normally go to barrachnie branch however couldn’t get a table today. Table booked for 6pm, we were shown upstairs and into a corner, lots of tables very close together. Valentines menu on the table, 2 courses £28.95 or 3 courses £34.95 - sounds reasonable. I’m very fussy and noticed that I didn’t like any of the main courses, spoke to the waiter before we even ordered a drink and asked if I could order macaroni from the normal menu - he said yes no problem. If this wasn’t an option we would have just left. Drinks received promptly. My husband waited a bit of time for his starter, it was busy so we didn’t mind. We then waited an extremely long time for our main - well over an hour. Our mains came minus a portion of chips, we were assured twice that they wouldn’t be long. Mains finished still no chips. By this time we had been there for 2 and a half hours, it was very hot. We decided to patch the deserts as if we stayed any longer we would probably get charged dig money. Asked for the bill and the card machine which was brought quickly (of course it was, a que of people were waiting at the door to get in). Chips were added to the bill, advised the waitress that I didn’t receive my chips. Also noted that I had been charged £22.95 for the macaroni. Male waiter appeared (not sure if he was the manager) a few minutes later advising that he would take the chips off the bill for me … well I should think so since I didn’t actually get them. He told me that I hadn’t been charged the full £28.95 because I didn’t have dessert. Pointed out that macaroni is £13.45 on the al a carte menu … he very abruptly told me that it was valentine menu and that was the price 🙄 I didn’t get it from the Valentines menu 🤷🏻‍♀️ he was having none of it and was actually quite rude so we just paid. A shame that the service was poor and rude because the food was alright. Won’t be back to this branch. Also the steaks couldn’t have been up to much I seen 2 people not eating them.

My pregnant partner and I waited over an hour for mains, asked for the fillet steak very well done and this came out pink. No check back from any servers and our actual server only spoke to us once the whole night. Spoke to about 5 different servers during our 2 and a bit hours there to have 2 starters and one main. Manageress was nice enough to apologise and offer a discount on the bill however we will not be returning, we ended up having to go elsewhere for food. Original server didn’t seem to care and walked past our uneaten food for 20 minutes before I got the attention of the manageress. Lack of attention coupled with undercooked food and poor service is not what you expect when you pay high street prices in bishopbriggs. Barrachnie branch is far superior from our previous visits.

Order was delivered extremely late. 2.5 hour wait with no apology or explanation, food was cold when arrived and all had to be reheated which is ridiculous as we don’t live far from it, food must have been sitting for a while

Pasta was super creamy and tasty as always. Mozzarella Fritta was great, love the addition of balsamic/tomato/basil it really compliments the mozzarella and Herb sauce and brings the lovely tangy sweet taste!

Family meal, 9 adults. Everyone loved their food. Staff were lovely, service was perfect. Great!

Ordered take away last night at 5.45pm and took over 3 hours to come. Didn’t arrived till after 9pm. Phoned several times to cancel and got hung up on. Phoned the manager today to get a refund as children had already had to be fed before it arrived. Manager wasn’t interested at all and refused to refund or offer any gesture of goodwill. First time ordering from here and will certainly be the last.

Usually a fan of La vita but last 2 times ordered it’s not tasted normal. Tonight everything tasted funny, unsure if different chef but wasn’t impressed. It’s a shame cause a good la vita is a great takeaway

Worse MIA Casa pasta I have ever had from La Vita, I will not be ordering again. Had many times previously but this was very below standard. No sauce, hardly any chicken or broccoli mainly pasta. Sad I always rated La Vita but this is the 3rd time it has not been good quality

Food was delicious and piping hot, tastes exactly like it does when you eat in the restaurant. Only issue was the just eat app said my food was ready to collect but when I went into the restaurant I had to wait a further 10 minutes but easy mistake.

Never ready on time the staff completely ignore customers who are not sitting in the restaurant and delivery orders are prioritised over collecting customers left standing at a hatch at the front door! Why does it say “Ready for collection” if it’s not ready to collect what’s the point?

Kids meal was half the size it usually is and it was soggy. I had to air fry it for it to be edible and the lasagna was mostly white sauce and cheese with a tiny bit of mince at the side. I’m not sure what happened there.

delivery time was over 2 hours behind the estimate of 1 hour ( so 3 hours+ total from time off ordering). if wife want able to drive down and request order made up, then we wouldn't have gotten anything because when the order did arrive, 2 off the pizzas were wrong and the pasta was wrong! chips and garlic bread stone cold and completely written off. was mega disappointing because phoned restaurant to check about 1 hour mark after no show and any subsequent calls wouldn't complete!

Manager was incredibly rude, we had a reservation from 6-7:45 and were waiting to order dessert. At 7:00 the manager came over and demanded the table because they were busy and wouldn’t let us order dessert instead just giving us the bill. When we showed him the reservation he simply said “I believe you” and throwing his hands up as if to say “who cares” disgustingly unprofessional and will not be back

Food was fine however the collection was awful. Collection time set by the restaurant for 18:35 stood and waited until 19:00, asked how much longer I was expected to wait and got told just another couple of minutes when I pointed out I had already been waiting 25 minutes I was rudely told it’s busy - then maybe set a collection time you can actually meet? The attitude from the person in charge was not appropriate nor appreciated considering I had been kept waiting near half an hour.

Had a lovely festive lunch with our family. Could not fault anything. The food, service and atmosphere excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend and will return.

Worst bolognaise I have ever tasted just bland mince no bolognaise sauce etc and this is supposed to be a restaurant lol , waited over two hours also shocking especially the prices for stuff I know I can cook better and I don’t work in the food industry

Shambles. Pizza came looked like it had been kicked into the back of the car. Toppings and cheese pouring out the aide of the box Driver clearly dropped the order as the lids were off the containers also. Phoned the restaurant to complain and the manager was not really interested. Said he would speak to the driver but didnt take any details of my order so no clue how he will work that out. Ended the phone call as a table started singing happy birthday and he didnt move away, couldnt hear a word

The dipping sauce lid was not secure and therefore all sauce was over the food and bag

Mia casa is a favourite of mine but this was terrible. It tasted like a tub of salt had been dropped in it. It’s usually delicious aswell. 👎

la vita you can't fault there food or service

I've been extremely disappointed with la vita's attitude towards long term customers. I have been a customer for half my life and I will now never return, nor will I order. I would order la vita several times a week. I had an encounter with a staff member who denied there being ice in my drink when you could physically see it. I've never been more baffled by someone's inability to take accountability and simply apologise. Consistently getting orders incorrect with delivery and takeaway. Food standard has gone downhill. A message to anyone who takes the risk of going, when things go wrong, do not expect this to be rectified. They have no desire to resolve issues they cause and appear determined to run their business into the ground. I'm saddened to see a place I cherished turn into this. I have only written a few reviews in my entire life, I'm utterly disheartened by the treatment I've received.

Went for dinner this evening with my daughter. Was put upstairs , where I do believe you are forgotten about. Had to ask for Parmesan & black pepper after receiving dinner. Only got Parmesan before he whisked off again? We did a jimmy style , my pasta was a totally different colour/texture sauce to my daughters. I have eaten in this restaurant periodically since it opened & I have tasted Mia Casa like that. Told the waitress who very politely apologised and went to get her Manager. He came to table explaining to him , I was told yes sometimes different. He asked if I still enjoyed it I told him not really as was not as it should have been. Sauce was orange not cream! Ordered a dessert, waited an eternity. When Bill came , no reflection to my comments on the meal not being up to standards. Think that’s me done now, won’t be back.

it doesn't matter how many times you order the same meals they are always the same high quality I have yet to get a bad order doesn't matter you in the restaurant or ordering from home

Advised to collect my order at 7:05pm which gave me 45 mins to get there. On route when I was 30 mins away I then received a notification saying my order was ready so my food was then sitting all this time waiting. My chips were supposed to be chunky instead got skinny… pasta was more oil in the dish than pasta itself. Really disappointed as we are loyal customers

This gem of a restaurant is by far the nicest I've ever been to. The food tasted amazing, my party all ordered different meals from the menu and all were delighted by the taste and look. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to make our night one to remember. We're already planning our next night out at la Vita in Bishopbriggs.

Customer service was poor. Was 5 minute early from the time of our collection time. Was told it would be 2 minutes but waited 30 and soon as i complained it was gave to me. Unhappy

Disappointing didnt enjoy it at all Pizza topping flavour was odd didnt taste good. The bolognese lacked flavour and was dry. Only positives, it was all hot on arrival / garlic bread was good. Wouldn't order again due to tatse.
