Imre was helpful and friendly. He recommended food that was delicious and he kept checking in with us. He made the experience very pleasant.

Gabriela P provided fantastic service, and made one of our party feel so special on her birthday by arranging everything as a surprise!

We would have rated this place a 5 but because of the whole ‘optional’ service charge, we felt it put a negative feel on our experience. We went to the front to pay for our meal and our waitress made quite a scene about it, telling us to go back to our table to pay. She then brought the bill over and I asked for the service charge to be removed. She then said loudly that she would need to take the bill back to the front (where we’d literally been waiting to pay and told off for) so they could remove it. When she brought the bill back she said nothing as we paid and immediately walked off without saying thank you or goodbye. We have very strong feelings about adding on service charge and although it might be normal for SOME cultures, it isn’t for ours. Nowhere else have we been made to feel uncomfortable about this in London, or anywhere else in Europe actually. We made sure to tell the guy at the front that the food was delicious and he was polite. Would love to come back but would not feel comfortable after this experience.

Paulina is a wonderful waitress. She is friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Provided great service and advice regarding what to order. The food was AMAZING. So fresh and full of flavor. Different spices and ingredients, makes this Mexican restaurant better than your typical one. Very authentic. The sweet potato and feta dish is delicious. Interesting combinations of dishes. Awaken your palate, you’ll be glad you visited. Reasonably priced. Contactless. Does not except Am Ex. I ordered the pork and beef street tacos. My husband ordered the beef burrito and it was large, tasty and filling.

Excellent place for a lunch. One of us was gluten free and another with allergies - staff very helpful and they have a separate gluten free menu. Food tasted amazing and was great for both adults and children.

We had a great time at Wahaca Covent Garden. The staff was super nice and helpful, especially our waiter Andre. We had the pre-set selection of 7 small plates for 2, cost £50, great value for money if you want to try a lot of different dishes. Nice drinks too, would recommend the non-alcoholic cocktails.

We were two families last Sunday so four adults and four children, I was very impressed with the kindness and efficiency of our waiter. The children’s menu were well balanced and generous. On the whole everything was delicious and we shall return.

Wahaca was a nice surprise from the usual taco. My family and I enjoyed trying the various tacos! All in all, my favorite was the cactus and zucchini. All tacos were bursting with flavors! Our server was absolutely wonderful. We will be back.

Love Wahaca for tasty Mexican food at a great price. The tacos come two to an order and with a side of the bean crema are perfectly filling for lunch. Wahaca also has a fantastic allegory-friendly policy and accommodates all allergies with the height of attention to detail and care. I can safely recommend this as a sure-fire restaurant for people with allergies.

This place is the lick! It was my birthday and I haven’t been for well over 10 years and let me tell you this place is out of this world. Much better than I ever remembered. Now hubby and I never shut up while eating but from the first bite we couldn’t utter more than the occasional mmm or oooo wow as the flavours are sublime! Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back for more asap and will try not to leave it so long next time.

Absolutely delicious food! Some of the best food I've ever had in London, and that includes two 1-star Michelin restaurants I've been to. Very friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere as well. My friend and I ordered the Favourites Feasting Menu. I highly recommend it! After paying, you get a little card with a recipe on it for one of the dishes. I made it at home and it was delicious, too, though not as good as at the restaurant. I guess I'll have to go back!

I haven't been to a Wahaca restaurant for a while and I'm glad I did today. The food options were great for a vegetarian and lots of things to tempt you on the menu. Miguel was great at recommending good options for both food and drinks and he was spot on. Really friendly and quick service too!

I am mexican and i can honestly say if you want authentic mexican food do not go here. The tacos were disappointing. Also the desserts , nothing Mexican about the desserts. If you are going to open up a “Mexican” restaurant do your research because this is not it. This place is just a hype trendy place and that’s it.

We were first through the door at opening, but it filled up really quickly. Booking recommended. Food was really tasty, server explained/recommended taste combinations that would compliment each other. Fantastic meal 👍

I had a great experience at this place! The tacos and burritos were incredibly fresh and flavorful – you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The portions were generous, and everything was perfectly seasoned. On top of that, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. What an amazing experience! We popped in on a whim and were greeted with a very modern and cool interior, much more than met the eye from the street. Our party of 3 came in around 4:45 we were seated right away. First of all, phenomenal service by our server — didn’t catch his name but he was an older, tall fellow. He was helpful, charming and very knowledgeable. Drinks: we got the margarita flight to start and were blown away by each of them. Our favorites were the passion fruit and raspberry (so much so we ordered full sizes of each after the flight was finished). The pork, chicken and avocado tacos, and sunshine bowl were favorites in our party. The Guac was also so well done. To finish off, the brownie was delicious. We were so impressed, we felt the need to share before we even left the restaurant! Highly recommend. We would love to come Back next time we’re in town.

Great, slightly hidden Mexican restaurant in Covent Garden. Very natural and not too poshy atmosphere. The food was very tasty and the price was right for London standards. You can order your own children's menu for children. Here you can even get extra tacos for free upon request!
