La Salsa Tapas in Oldham

Our first visit. Lovely atmosphere, brilliant service and excellent food. Couldn't fault it will definitely be returning.

Enjoyed meal at la Salsa. Varied menu with lots of different tapas selections, set price of £20.95 on Saturday night. There are rules in the menu for how to order and can't have lots of the seafood tapas (three prawn selections only - I had the prawns and the mussel - only get one), although I thought the meat tapes (meat balls, ribs, Spanish Chorizo) were a better choice anyway. Chicken selections were also good as were the Spanish omelette and patatas bravas. The waitress was really good keeping the orders coming and drinks topped up.

First time there tonight and the food was amazing, great sangria / cocktails and the service was second to none, we are so glad we made the choice to go and will definitely be going again

Staff are super attentive! Been here twice so far and on both occasions we’ve been served by Roman (who’d actually the floor manager) who has been an absolute star! He’s got a great sense of humour, he’s lovely to converse with and is a really attentive server. Definitely one of the best bits of service I’ve had ever! Nothing has ever been too much trouble with him and knows how to make you feel welcome!

Was sceptical about it being a true all you can eat tapas, but mid week for £17 and you can eat as much as you would like. All the dishes were of excellent quality, service was fast, drinks reasonably priced I would highly recommend, when in Spain I love the tapas and this restaurant was the best all you can eat Tapas. Will be 100% going back

Excellent place, I love it here! 5th visit. Food gorgeous, cocktails even better. A must try and always a pleasure to be served by the lovely Roman. All the staff can’t do enough for you! A little hidden gem, 5 stars!!! And I always recommend to others.

When we entered the restaurant we saw the decor and thought we would have a spectacular food experience and were even excited when we saw the presentation of the food. However I must say looks are deceiving as I felt most of the dishes were tasteless and unseasoned, especially the pasta dishes which really saddened me as I grew up and was born in Italy. But there were a few delicious dishes. Respectfully, you will never catch me here again.

First time at La Salsa for the end of my husband’s 50th birthday week. And it did not disappoint! Tried most of the food and everything was well cooked and so so tasty! To top that the staff are all really friendly, smart and attentive, lovely clean decor…great place will definitely be back!

I loved the tribute tonight! The staff was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was outstanding we were all singing and dancing with George Micheal. Me and my friends absolutely loved it. The food was lovely and the service was very quick. The cocktails were the best!

First time trying La salsa , heard mixed reviews about this place but was disappointed with the tapas . Most food was very bland ... only tasty thing was the rib sadly everything else was tasteless, weird texture ( prawn cocktail ) mushy rice or watery fish ( clearly frozen ) just nothing tasted fresh at all . The staff are amazing though and cocktails to die for . Sadly won't he returning for food but deffo for drinks

Lovely, clean and authentic Tapas bar. Staff were very attentive and helpful. 'All you can eat' menu is varied but the flavours weren't as varied as hoped.

My partner and I pass this alot and finally went in, we were greeted very well by staff and they made us feel super comfortable and welcomed. The food was absolutely amazing, it felt like I had been welcomed into the families home for a celebration meal. So much care and love is put into everything! Our waitress Ausra was an absolute credit to the restaurant, she engaging conversations with us and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely coming again and perfect for a date night, we can't wait for our next visit ❤️

Went Sunday afternoon for our anniversary wasn't very busy (I like it like that) food was lovely service was excellent would definitely recommend a visit there price was very reasonable will be definitely visiting again would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful time dining at La Salsa. The ambiance was warm and welcoming - perfect for a relaxed evening. The food was a great all you can eat tapas, and the staff were exceptional as they were attentive and very friendly. I am definitely looking forward to visiting again soon!

Very nice friendly staff, the food was lovely, maybe abit more flavour in some dishes but that's just my personal preference, you cant go wrong for the price, you can order 3 dishes each at a time for as many times as you want the lager was nice and the restaurant.

I've been plenty of times, the food is fresh, hot and brought to the table quickly. The service is wonderful, attentive and pleasant. Extremely welcoming. The atmosphere can be quiet but that's only because this place is a gem still waiting to be appreciated as it should.

Visited for a celebratory meal at short notice as original choices were closed on Monday. So glad that we did. The food was varied, authentic and delicious. And at a very reasonable price. The service was attentive, efficient and fully complimented the enjoyment of the occasion. Would strongly recommend and intend to return soon.

We have been a few times and we love it! The food, cocktails and service has never let us down. Excellent value for money. We will defo be back!

Me and my boyfriend went in this evening to look at the function room for my 40th birthday party in October. The lady who greeted us was so friendly :) the room was perfect and we provisionally booked it. We then dined in the restaurant downstairs, the food was outstanding and the service was amazing!! The staff were so nice and couldn’t do enough to help! Would highly recommend this place!!!

5 star! We've just been tonight (a Tuesday) to book my partners 40th and we had a meal whilst being there. The food was amazing, everything we tried (15 different dishes) were superb. All the staff were friendly and polite, they have a kids menu and also a menu for if you just want a single meal like pizza, burger ect. I was recommended the Madrid Mahou Larger which I've never tried thus asking what it's like and it was really nice, not too fizzy and easy to go down and not feeling bloated afterwards. For the price, £15.95 for an all you can eat Spanish Mediterranean cuisine its incredible, nice atmosphere, a feeling of being in Spain with the music, decor and the staff being a different nationality gives La Salsa good vibes. The function room we went to look at looks great with nice decor also and a good size space. They mentioned we can use La Salsas catering but also you can bring your own if we wanted which is a nice touch as alot of places of this size have told us it's their catering only. Overall a great experience and we will be going again soon and would definitely recommend it to all.

We went here this evening with our 6 year old. We had a lovely evening. The food was lovely the staff were really attentive and the kids meal was very generous. We all had a lovely time and the overall bill was extremely reasonably priced!!! Thankyou we would definitely visit again.

Booked a table for 7.30 pm Friday and was looking forward to it Arrived to find we were the only guests and found the food just okay, having eaten tapas all over Spain , quite disappointing The staff were lovely but when we left at 8.45 there was still nobody else in! Members of staff were eating and one had gone home, we eat out quite regularly and normally places are buzzing at that time Won’t be returning

Phoned for a takeaway pizza 🍕, And can I bring some toppings as i'm very fussy with my food. So I gave them some ham and pineapple and asked for a bit of garlic oil mixed with the tomato base sauce and let them do the rest , well I must say definitely the best pizza I've had in years just wish I took a photo to show how it was. As it was outstanding, forget pizza hut try this place.

I come here very often and the food is incredible. The portion sizes are perfect and the food is full of flavour. The staff were very friendly and constantly checking up on us and taking orders, we felt very welcome. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. They also do really nice cocktails and all prices are very reasonable!

Went tonight, food was amazing, staff and service excellent. Favourite dishes. Patatas bravas, chicken wings, ribs, bruschetta but everything delicious. You can eat as many dishes as you like, ordering in multiples of 3. Can't wait to go back. So much choice as well.

We went on a Tuesday night for our son's birthday. The place is clean and tidy and well decorated. The service was quick and efficient. Once we had ordered drinks they came almost immediately. The food order was the same. I can safely say the tapas dishes were delicious and for the set price they kept coming back until we could eat no more. Me and the wife will visit again very soon. We visited as it was on our list of places to try and it was a birthday so a good excuse to go. It’s Tuesday at 5pm so no one else was in this worried me a bit as some time servers can forget you. This was not the case service was out standing great with both of my children and very attentive to clearing plates and asking if we wanted anything else. The food was really good again I was worried with it being an all you can eat it might be a little disappointing but it wasn’t the food was lovely and I tried things I probably wouldn’t of as the first few dishes I tried where lovely. Some people have said the food was a little bland but ours wasn’t. I felt it was really good value for money. Would definitely return

What an awesome place! Food was fantastic (we did the Tapas), the service was excellent, and we really had a great time! And I loved the fact that there's parking right there too!

I have visited several times each with different friends. Never had a bad experience. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Never felt pressured to move to the next course. Food is excellent and can't be faulted. Those that require an extra 'punch' only need ask for it as too spicey is not for everyone's taste. Would most certainly highly recommend. 5*****

Visited La Salsa with family for our shared birthdays and overall would say it was just OK. The staff where lovely could not fault them at all. Food was nice but lacked seasoning. No real flavour on anything. All very plain and bland but not inedible. Overall food OK, staff brilliant. Would I return? Probably not off my own back but wouldn't say no if someone else suggested it.

Absolutely love this place! We've been many times now and the service is always great, friendly and on hand all the way through the visit. Food is really really nice, though sometimes it could have an extra little 'kick' of flavour (probably more personal opinion as I like big flavour haha) 😉

I went here last night 16th March Didn’t really know what to expect , I’ve never had tapas before . The food was fantastic , small dishes but once you started eating soon got full, absolutely beautiful food, atmosphere was amazing , staff outstanding , service 100% couldn’t fault anyone or anything , It’s a must to visit this restaurant .

The best food Iv had and also what I loved is we wasn't mithered for when and what we want next. We was able to enjoy our food and drinks and have our conversation. The staff was lovely and even had the best sense of humour. Jessica was lovely and made us feel so welcome. And mehmet the owner was amazing thank you so much for having us x

Went here for a dinner with my mate few days ago. The place had a large parking area behind and the restaurant it self was spacious with a lot of choice on where to sit. The menu had a large variety of dishes which were served very quickly and tasted great. The cocktails were spot on too and for a reasonable price. The staff were particularly nice too, constantly checking up on us and making sure we got everything we ordered. The restaurant it self was atmospheric and well kept. We’ll definitely come again. Highly recommend it if looking for a good meal for a decent price!

We didn't eat in but we did book the function room upstairs for my daughters 18th Birthday Party. The room is really big, with a smaller Conservatory that we could also use. The room was clean with a great sized dance floor. There were plenty of tables and seating. The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. We had Caterers so didn't have food from La Salsa but this wasn't an issue for the booking. Staff were really accommodating and we could go in to set up from 12 o'clock on the day. It was a lovely night, reasonably priced and I would definitely use it again

I had a wonderful experience at La Salsa Tapas Restaurant. The food was great, and the service was amazing. Each dish was flavorful, and the staff was attentive and friendly. It's a solid choice for those looking for a tasty meal and a pleasant dining atmosphere.

Definitely worth a try. Went here on New Year’s Eve for the event. Bottomless Tapas and live music. Great atmosphere, staff are very helpful and approachable. Food was good, some dishes better than others but none that I could complain about and would be nit-picking. The staff couldn’t do enough for everyone and kept coming back periodically to ask for more food. Some places fall short on this and don’t come back very much, complete opposite here. They really do make sure you get your fair share of food. Only complaint I had was that when they were bringing the food, you had to remember what you had ordered which may not be a difficult task, however some staff said names and others said numbers and when we sat down we were asked to order using the numbers. Maybe a system could be implemented to the iPad where it tells staff which seat ordered which dish? Only a minor complaint and would probably benefit staff more than customers. Absolutely worth a try if you like tapas.

First time been here tonight and definitely won't be the last food was delicious and very quick to come , we had the all you can eat and you can have as much as you want , also have a very fussy son but he loved the spaghetti and chocolate fudge cake was gorgeous aswell

I went recently for the first time with friends for an early dinner. We all really enjoyed the selection of food and it was very tasty. The wine was good too. It's a very spacious restaurant so it would take a lot of people to fill it. Staff were great. We all said we would definitely go again soon.

Yet another fabulous meal at this diamond of a place. Delicious tapas in small amounts that allows you to sample a huge variety of dishes without getting overly full on just a few. Great variety, very tasty, very reasonably priced and always excellent service. This place is our go to for family events and birthdays. I’ve read reviews saying thee are strict rules etc. in our experience this is not the case at all. I would highly recommend this place, well done guys.

Book the Abba theme night back in Sept. Our friends arrived from down south (we have attended a few times and always been lovely ) but not tonight! When we arrived our table had been given to someone else even though I’d confirmed the night before . After gaining a table the service was rubbish . We only had 2 courses in 2 hours and one drink. We waited 50 mins after ordering our 3rd course 2nd drink which never arrived . We kept asking the waiting staff and they kept saying sorry as there was only 1 bar staff . The waiter asked a member of our table could he take his plate , he asked please could I have another one , waiters reply no sorry we haven’t got anymore ! We left after this ! 2nd course arrived cold ! Just rubbish all round🙃

Had a great night at La Salsa's ABBA tribute night. The food was amazing, we managed to get through alot on the menu and each dish was just beautiful and very tasty. The service staff did an amazing job, we was really looked after and nothing was too much trouble. The cocktails were amazing too. The ABBA tribute singers were brilliant we had so much fun, the overall atmosphere was just perfect. Can't wait to go again it was a brilliant night.

I Came into your restaurant last night to celebrate my 50th birthday. Our booking was at 7pm. By 9.30pm we had been served only one round of food and some of my guests had only been given one dish from the 3 they had chosen. A drinks order was taken from us, twice! And yet no drinks arrived. And our second round of food did not arrive either. Totally understand that you were busy and short staffed but to wait 2 and a half hours for drinks and food is not acceptable. My birthday night was completely ruined and I felt embarrassed considering I had chosen your venue for my special occasion.I had told all my guests that the food was amazing and that we would have a great night. We didn’t. We left hungry and very disappointed.

Went Saturday 2.30pm. Ate from the all you can eat tapas menu which is £15.00. Large spacious building,clean with nice deco. Great service and gorgeous food. We got to choose nine dishes , three at a time. A couple of our group could only manage 6 dishes. All five of our group enjoyed the food with one of them arranging a works Christmas do here. Lot's of live tribute act's on during the evening. Lot's of vegetarian options. Plenty of free parking. Cost under £20.00 for 9 dishes a large coffee and jug of water. Definitely recommend.
