OMG what can I say? Never a bad meal here.My favourite Indian restaurant by a mile.

Take away Service was good a courteous but the curry it self was bland and tasteless and a real disappointment 😥

Takeaway order on New Year’s Eve…Disappointing!!!! Ordered a take away online; Onion Bhaji Mixed Shaslick with Masalla Sauce Chicken Tikka Biryani with Jalfrezi Sauce Garlic Naan Bread Starter DIDN’t come with mint sauce & salad, meant to be 4 Bhaji’s but were 6 small ones & tasted dry! Shaslick was ok but the sauce was NO WAY a Masalla. It was runny & tasteless not as advertised (creamy thick sauce with coconut delicately blended with aromatic herbs & spices) wasn’t creamy & thick & no taste or hint of coconut!….it was AWFUL!!!!! Biryani was ok & Jalfrezi was ok also. Garlic Naan tasted like a plain Naan. Overall…..not great! Paid just over £27 for it & didn’t enjoy it. It’s a shame as we have dined here in the past, not been here for 18 months or more & similarly ordered takeaway. Will NOT be going back here after this poor offering. Real shame.

Firstly I want to start by saying I’m not one to leave reviews but it’s Christmas & we were looking forward to this all day and to send food out like this is just disrespectful to your paying customers!! Had it delivered & to say we are disappointed is an understatement. Food came in plastic Tupperware containers so didn’t hold any heat in, never had an Indian come in those before! Food all freezing cold, chips looked like they’d been warmed up from the day before. The potato raw in the vegetable samosas, Curry was tasteless & watery! Basically just a massive bag of s***. Gave one star because can’t do zero!! Christmas meal ruined 🤦🏼‍♀️ do better!!

Dropped in last night with a party of 10 first I’ve been in the restaurant in a while didn’t disappoint fantastic food and tremendous service the age group went from 10 till people in there 80s great patience even better food keep up the good work certainly be back 5star

Ordered keema turned up in big chunks like chicken tikka. Food was horrible took a bite and nearly puked up, spoke to the waiter who was adamant it’s keema Never going back again

Placed a delivery yesterday and the experience was not as I’d expected . Meat had pink parts to it and smelly . Had to literally dispose the platter. The biriyani so oily and the gravies were dark red .The garlic naan bread so stale and smudged in water . Hope you can do better ! Good luck .

I had a king prawn Jalfrazi, it was delicious, lovely atmosphere and service was quite good

Went early mid week so the restaurant was initially quiet but then quite a few groups of people arrived. Quick friendly service with no delays. Meal was excellent had the Chicken Puri for starter and Chicken Dhanyia Sylheti (quite spicy) with a plain nan for main. All food was a few pounds more expensive than the attached menu, that may be take away prices. Amazing night with family celebrating my son's GCSEs..great food and service, quite friendly staff too.. Everything we had was really tasty, my husband and I thought the chicken curry was slightly a little off perhaps the mixture or hot weather made it a little off other than that very pleased, nice and fresh..loved the naan and finally where is the chilli sauce in the pickle tray? 😔

Chicken very salty ,curry sauce very watery/ oily missed some of our order and arrived cold , spent £48 for two meals

A very very very good curry house! Just go, you will not regret it. Everything was just spot on (as always)... This restaurant has been going for 30 years, so you can be sure they're doing something right. Tender lamb, juicy chicken you really can't go wrong. One of my favourite places to go. I've only been going for the last 10 years but my wife and her family have known and loved this place for 25+ years and never left disappointed

Great night with good food & service.

Never had such plain tasting food in my life … it was like a Margery from the conservatives club had made a curry for the darts team.. lamp chops were dry and tasteless and for some reason doused in lemon juice.. the bread was anemic.. got 10% when we brought this to their attention.. never again

We had takeaway, not good, cold chips, cold nan, bhuna was not a bhuna, tough onions, forgot our extra chutney, will never have food from here again.

The staff was pleasant, the restaurant clean but, being honest , the food was bland. We had poppadoms chutney onion etc, fish sizzler with boiled rice, chicken korma with a plain naan. The food was edible but very boring and lacked any real taste. Based on previous reviews it was something of a disappointment!

Absolutely fantastic all round been coming here for years, you are very welcomed with happy faces and great service, Moss shebul and shah front of house are very attentive and knowledgeable, the food is exceptional 😊 I have a dish that’s not on the menu it’s called tofan and it’s a very hot with lamb (not lamb tikka) and if you like hot food then this is for you. My wife has the biryani with chicken tikka and again superb, we have had lots of other dishes and all excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a great curry and you can bring your own wine another added bonus 😋 Carol and David

I think your staff are rude no hospitataly skilks, and for lamb chops daal mushroom starter and 2 pints of larger i Think £80 is ridiculous, gonna stick to the grand maillon. We're they make u feel welcome and don't Rob your money!! My partner asked to order another drink the waiter hissed an said in a minute really rude as he stormed passed 👎

Ordered a chicken jazfrezzi advertised as medium hot. Absolutely blew our heads off , and more like a vindaloo. Also aloo saag - swimming with oil . extremely dissatisfying and not worth the money and I will not be ordering again

The owners son battered and mugged a 64 year old man. Do the right thing and drag him by his ears to the police before they come kicking your door in.

Nice friendly staff. Right size portions

The chicken was so tender and the sauce was sweet and spicy absolutely delicious just melts in your mouth would highly recommend.

I haven't been here in over 10 uears before today and the food reminded me why Chicken Tikka Byriani is my favourite. Excellent food, staff and atmosphere. Absolutely will be eating here again.

3 bites into my popadom and I thought I was hallucinating, but no it was true. Lots of tiny little flies in my face, all around the food totally off putting. Like flies around a dirty old dustbin. When i asked the waiter “do you have a problem with flies?” He hesitated until i pointed out a number of years ago i walked out of here for the same reason. Then he mentioned a problem with fruit flies, said he was sorry and just walked away. If you like flies in your food this is an excellent place otherwise avoid the flies and all the potential health risks and keep away from this restaurant as they have not intention of resolving this fly issue anytime soon. Disgusting experience and they still charged us for the drinks.

Great food with excellent service as always. Party of 16 all served together and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.

The food as always was really good. We have been coming here for many years but was very disappointed with their attitude and lack of flexibility towards wanting something like adult chicken tikka and chips for one of the adults who doesn't really eat spicy food for which they charged an extra £2.45 on top of the set meal deal price which has gone up to £16.95 a head . Plus we had 2 children with us for who we ordered a children's meal. The children wanted a poppadum each as the adult set meals included that.........they even charged for 2 extra poppadums 90 p each which if that's what they do then that's what they do but there were 6 adult and 2 childrens meals being ordered and paid for plus drinks, you think they could have thrown in the poppadums like other Indian restaurants do for the children who don't eat the chutneys just the poppadums . It's a shame really as they continue to serve good food so I hope they take this constructive criticism on board.

Very disappointed in tonight’s food. We had it delivered and it was stone cold by the time it had arrived. Chips were like cardboard and the popadoms weren’t even edible like rubber had to put them straight in the bin. Wouldn’t of even given one star but had to put at least 1 !!!!!!!

Food not tasty or spicy at all, too much food colouring used,the pickle tray just plain old boring chutneys nothing special, sheek kebab has more colour to it than spice and the currys have more sauce than chicken or meat the strawberry mocktail full of ice no taste whatsoever for that price it’s not good enough,service it’s alright you just have to constantly remind them of your order.
