La Rotonda in Haringey

Found this restaurant online and thought the reviews were pretty good so me and my partner went for a meal here. It ended up to be a very average italian restaurant. I had the mussels to start which firstly smelt fishy which is not a good sign. The starter came with a thin slice of bread, like from a loaf bought at a supermarket. I then had the seafood pasta for my main which was tasteless and again the seafood in the dish was not of good quality. The restaurant is not cheap either so we will not be returning.

5 stars simply aren’t enough for this restaurant - I couldn’t fault it! We were a family of 8 who arrived without a booking at 7pm on a Saturday night. They made space for us and provided the most amazing food, impeccable service and a lovely ambiance. It is a family run restaurant and it was easy to see how much care and attention they put into it. Food is well priced and of the highest quality too. Highly recommended!

This is my second visit. The food is delicious. The menu is just the right length. Three of us enjoyed different pasta dishes. One of us had Tuna, which was pronounced delicious. The food is well presented, and well seasoned. The Tiramisu was delicious, and also my friends Afogato. This is a good value local family restaurant. Waiters were warm and friendly. I really recommend this restaurant.

Atmosphere, service and food all excellent. We had the fillet steak, 8 oz perfectly cooked to request, the halibut - generous portion, nicely cooked, lovely sauce, steamed veg perfect and mash delicious. Seafood in tomato very tasty although calamari slightly overcooked. Very big pasta portions Brownie very yummy Thank you

Lovely restaurant in Muswell Hill. Service was attentive and friendly. The food was okay, I would prefer a different type of sauce with my crepe and little bit more portion wise. My husband enjoyed his breakfast but would also prefer a bigger portion ( one more slice of sourdough or polenta or one more sausage). We will go back and try their dinner menu and see how that goes :)
