Delicious and divine food, lovely atmosphere and hospitable staff, what’s not to like ! Perfect way to celebrate a birthday :)

Everything about this restaurant was brilliant, food was great and the pizza is honestly the best I have had outside of Italy, staff are very friendly and create a great atmosphere. Only issue is the staff kept coming and picking up half drunk drinks from the table without asking and so quickly that we couldn’t stop them. We probably lost about £20-40 worth of Apperol and Prosecco across are table due to drinks being taken early.

We had such a lovely meal here! The food was great and service even better. Maria was our server and she could not have been friendlier or more professional. We took all her recommendations and were so happy we did, especially the pistachio tiramisu!

We are in London and been trying many places for food. Fantastic pizza, pasta and any starters. Wonderful and friendly environments while chefs come to say hello… must go with great pricing! Highly recommended….

Where can I start the service is so welcoming and especially interaction with nonnas makes it so homy and memorable. A very Italian atmosphere with fantastic food. We shared pizza and pasta, they were scrumptious everything was fine within a second. Followed by so delicious and so creamy Tiramisu. Someone celebrated a birthday at the restaurant and the whole team sang an Italian birthday song and danced for them, this was so much fun for everyone. Absolutely fantastic place, will be coming back very soon.

We (3p) didn't have a reservation but were friendly welcomed by the employees of the restaurant. We were given a nice table. First of all the food we ordered was delicious and could not have been any better. We did not need to wait long aswell which is a great plus (althought it wasn't really busy, just comfortable busy for a nice atmosphere). Secondly the staff was really friendly and kind. They asked more than once if everything was okay and we could even make a little chat. If you are looking for some delicious Italian food in London, this would be my recommendation! 10/10

I have been to this nice restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. We took the menu with the starters, the pasta alla zozzona and the porchetta. Everything was tasteful and plentiful. The manager, Giuseppe was so helpful, while the mama gave us a lot of extra that we didn't pay. She offered us some bruschetta, some focaccia and a pistachio tiramisù! The service was so nice! When they found it was my wife's birthday they brought us the sweets signing all together! Well worth the price! Highly recommend!

Excellent time was had by all! Not just the amazing food but the atmosphere- people randomly breaking into song, smiles everywhere. We arrived at 8pm and the waitress, Maria, treated us like honored guests! It was well worth a trip across the pond from America! My husband said that the food brought him back to how his mother used to cook. Wonderful! We would definitely go back. Thank you, Maria, for a great experience!

Incredible food and great staff. Went for a work dinner a few days ago and the staff were all extremely accommodating and pleasant, all very knowledgeable about the menu and explained each dish to us. Everything was delicious but the cacio e pepe and pistachio tiramisu are definitely standouts, be sure to try it!

Misled by the super marketing done on social media, I wanted to try this famous £29 menu set. Starters in the right quantities except for the fact that when we said that we wouldn't like the fish starters they simply eliminated the fish starters and added taralli, they brought me hot prosecco 3 times each time with a different excuse and each time more strange of the last one, to my question if the slut was a trio of tastings I was answered "Yes" when this slut arrived, not understanding what they had put in front of me I asked and the manager "Maria" with her arrogance replied to me that it was a mixture of carbonara, cacio e pepe and amatriciana, therefore completely different from what I had initially answered. They didn't ask if everything was ok and they never brought a dessert menu or asked if we needed anything else, when it came time to pay we received the bill for £40 pounds per person, when this was pointed out to them we had to wait another ten of minutes for the manager to rectify the error, all without anyone ever once apologizing for all their shortcomings and for the lack of professionalism in the service.

La Mia Mamma is as sweet as it sounds, run by a boisterous team of Italian professionals that make this business look like a family affair. I loved the slick manager with his charming attitude, the wonderful lady who served us dinner and offered suggestions and homely small talk, and the vibe created by the whole crew for a table next to us who were celebrating a birthday. Great vibe!

First the service. Maria was amazing smiling and suggesing dishes. Like the special burata ,her colleague were excellent. Altogether very enjoyable evening The food especially the bream baked in a paper bag with tomatoes, potatoes and capers was super. Leave some room for the pistachio Tiramisu

Crazy prices for having a medium-low service, a mix of barely edible starters, only the pasta was good and the dessert too. The drinks were supposed to be included in the menu but we paid extra for them! And of course they tip themselves into the bill even if the service sucks. I don't recommend it, there is better for the price, taste and service.

If you want to experience the traditional Italian Sunday Lunch, you better come here! Pasta alla Zozzona is fire!!! The trippa literally melts in your mouth! Melanzana alla norma is delicate, gnocchi alla romana even if they are very fulfilling and have truffle, all the flavours were very balanced. I felt like I was back home in Italy. Everything is made in house. Can't wait to try the other two restaurants!

Our dining experience was superb. We were welcomed and served by a wonderful, super friendly staff. Food was fresh, delicious and authentic Italian. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable for the area. We look forward to try the other sister establishments with different Italian regions. PS vegetarians ask to remove the prosciutto if you order the burrata.

We a such an enjoyable experience at La Mia Mamma—probably our best meal of our entire two-week trip around England. Maria took care of us throughout our dining experience and provided excellent suggestions for both wine and our meal. She was delightful! Between the Ziti and the Rigatoni—both were excellent. We only wish La mia Mamma was in the US so we could enjoy it closer to home. Thank you, Stanley Tucci, for guiding us to this wonderful piece of Italy in London!

Not just a restaurant, but an experience. We had the ‘fixed’ menu, which basically means any pizza/pasta, a Prosecco, a starter board and a dessert board. The starter board turned out to be a huge platter full of authentic dishes we had not heard of before. During the meal, the resident nonna handed out foccacia straight from the oven.

Visited today with some friends, from the moment we walked in Mamma Marta gave us a warm welcome and spoiled us, she made us feel right at home! The rest of the staff was also amazing and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and worth every penny! Italian approved 🇮🇹

This restaurant was such a a delight. I've been to so many Italian restaurants in my lifetime and I can easily say this was definitely in my top 5. The food was amazing, the service from Maria our waitress was so delightful. The wine was great and even the dessert. If anyone is visiting London and looking for a place to dine and enjoy amazing authentic Italian food, this is definitely the place. Oh and btw they fly out the Mama's from cities in Italy every few weeks to cook. Our mama was from Rome and her cooking was too notch.

Absolute gem of an Italian restaurant in Chelsea! Adorable staff who were so attentive. The atmosphere and ambience was great and the food was delicious. Quite pricey though, but would definitely return.

We read the good reviews about the restaurant but were left dissapointed. Mostly by the quality of the food. The sharing boards for starters (which you are forced to buy because you can’t buy items individually) are underwhelming and the various stews they serve watery and lacking in flavour. For 2 people, that’s the worst £36 I’ve ever spent. The main course pastas were OK, but just OK. Service quite stressful and slow. Actually feels like a bit of a tourist trap. Plenty of other better options available!

We had the most divine dinner at La Mia Mamma (Hollywood Rd) on Saturday - we've been wanting to go since we saw it on Stanley Tucci's 'Searching for Italy' TV show. It's such a delightful idea, the food is incredible, the service is friendly & attentive and it was excellent value for money. Every 3 months the menu changes to a different region of Italy (currently it's Emilia Romagna region) and they do an amazing set menu - glass of prosecco, starter sharing platter with 8 taster dishes, then a choice of pasta, pizza or main dishes from that region, then 3 sharing desserts, then an Espresso, all for around £40 - just stunning! Can't wait to go back!

Tonight we got to experience a great meal. Thank you for recognising our previous experience was not what it should be. You gave us a complimentary voucher to try again, it was excellent and what we had always hoped for. Always allow for a bad day and recognise that does not represent fairly the restaurant. We will definitely be back.

I do not usually leave reviews unless the experience and food are amazing, and this was exactly the case!! What a cosy, lovely afternoon spent at La Mia Mamma. It was like going to your Nonna's for lunch, where the food speaks to your heart and soul.

Momma Marta, Brayden and Maria were spectacular. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. We are from St. Louis, Missouri in the US and could not have been more pleased. We were at their other location 3 days earlier and enjoyed it very much. The other location was very good but the Hollywood Road location brought it to an entirely different level. The appetizers, pastas and bread were delicious only to be followed by perfectly chilled, tasty limoncello. Nice reasonable wine list. Momma Marta is a woman I would follow where ever she goes. You must try this place. It was a highlight of our time in London; which is absolutely amazing. Whichever location you are closest to, go to Mia Momma, we just loved the vibe, service and food at the Hollywood Road Location. Momma Marta, you’re the best! Thank you all so much. I was there a couple of weeks ago for a dinner, the taste and atmosphere are 100% Italian and the dishes are typical Italian like the origin of almost all the staff. I highly recommend this restaurant and this specific location.

Sunday family lunch spent in this restaurant in Chelsea.Nice welcoming but not very warm.The location is really nice ,italian music in the background. We order different food :pizza ,pasta ,meat ... Pizza was tasty, but the dought a bit gummy same for the bread . Pasta with pistacchio pesto was very rich. The pork belly was delicious, but unfortunately, the cotoletta was greasy, and there was too much fat (better doing it with veal and not with pork). Service was quite fast and the staff was nice and friendly. I would suggest smiling more, maybe. Despite it all ,food was authentic in terms of flavours.

Zero customer experience connection. If you are OK waiting 40 minutes for a pizza with no apologies then this is your place, otherwise go elsewhere since it is seriously disrespectful, even of local Chelsea residents who want to keep good restaurants alive.

Back to Italy, excellent restaurant. It seems to feel the good flavors of our magnificent land, super friendly and professional staff. Worth the trip, super value for money for being in London. Highly recommended.

I have ordered a medium steak, they offered a well done one, return it, they brought a medium steak that was too salty, I was quite embarrassed to return it again as I was sitting with friends and didn’t want to look awkward, my partner had a cacio e Pepe which was too a la dente; avoid at all costs!

Locale carino ma abbastanza stereotipato con le canzoni italiane totalmente da bar di periferia. I camerieri sono molto disponibili, ma non tanto preparati sui piatti e la loro composizione per dare informazioni complete per evitare possibili intolleranze. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, si può trovare letteralmente di meglio. La cucina è stata eccessivamente ‘inglesizzata’, aggiungendo aglio e cipolla a piatti che non ne richiedono e ne richiedono in piccolissima quantità.

The concept of La Mia Mamma is a great one: bringing Mammas from all across Italy every week/month with a new menu to cook some delicious bread, deserts and dishes. Already been 3 times there but have never eaten the same dish, all the while being amazed at the delicious Italian dishes. The staff is very friendly and here to recommend their specialty. A must!!

One of the few Italian restaurants that transport you back to Italy. The atmosphere and the food are truly authentic. There is clearly a lot of love in this place. The service was also excellent!

What an unforgettable experience! We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at La Mia Mamma with a group of 45 people, and it couldn't have been more perfect.The whole thing was a surprise for my boyfriend, and all the staff was so accommodating and we were blown away by the exceptional service and atmosphere. Antonio and Maria, were truly amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, ensuring that our celebration ran smoothly. Their attentiveness made our night all the more special. They were extremely helpful when it came to coordination and organization with such a large group. The atmosphere was amazing, and we got to celebrate and dance in the room downstairs while having a great dinner party. Food is also always delicious at this restaurant ( have been for smaller dinners many times). We celebrated my sisters birthday here with 30 people a few weeks before, and same thing, everything ran so smooth, the staff was so helpful and the food was delicious. Can't thank the restaurant, Antonio, Maria, and the entire staff enough for making this birthday celebration so memorable. We highly recommend this place and it really feels like Italy thanks to the pasta and and the kindness of the staff! Grazie mille and we will be back soon!

Nice food but we were given the bill and card machine before we had finished eating our desserts. We were then immediately asked to leave because they needed the table back, we still had food on our table and 15 mins left of our reservation time!

Best best best pasta ever and the nicest servers ever. The nicest severs I’ve encountered in the London area. The pasta taste just as good as the ones in Italy. Highly recommend the Cacio e Pepe from here, super cheesy and super Al Dante. Forget all those famous pasta places that require you to book a month in advance and just come here instead, this location usually has a lot of reservations open but feel free to walk in as they are very very welcoming and there’s alot of outdoor dining. Located in a super cute neighborhood with lots of other restaurants around. 100/10 and would definitely come back when I come back to London :D

Selected this due to Stanley Tucci’s show and conversation with an Italian friend who stated that it was authentic to what her mother cooks for her. The service was fantastic, food absolutely delicious. We loved the Mama’s and Maria! We selected the Cacio e Pepe, Rigatoni Pistachio Pesto, Torotlini in Broto & Cotoletta Bolognese “Petroniana”. Antipasti was large and more than plenty for 2, Pasta and dishes enough that we needed to do take away. Dessert was filling and not overly sweet. Highly recommend when visiting or on a date night.

Ever since I moved to west London ‘la mia mamma’ is a must for me. Food is top quality and authentic and Habi, the waiter, is attentive, engaging and provides an excellent service. Throughout the months we have become really good friends!
