Visited without reservation early evening . No problems fitting us in and nice table by window . Sara was our waitress and was cheerful and friendly as usual . Great food especially Frito misto . Great service in a good atmosphere . Really pleased with our visit . Will be back soon . Thank you Sara and all at Piccolino Collingham 👍😜

Another very enjoyable Saturday evening in a very pleasant and lively atmosphere. All the staff are always very welcoming, friendly and professional. I had the Tagliolini al Tartufo for a starter followed by the lemon sole, which were delicious, all served by Sara who was very attentive, courteous and efficient. We look forward to returning again soon.

It’s always a lovely meal at Piccolino Collingham and we had a great meal tonight. Our waitress Sara was very helpful and attentive (without being over bearing) and super knowledgeable about allergens - I’m coeliac so have to eat gluten free. Thank you so much to Sara and everyone at piccolino collingham can’t wait to be back soon!

Good menu with plenty of nice dishes to choose from. Excellent service particularly Sara who was , as always , lovely and efficient. Food was great and a nice atmosphere.

Saturday night very busy but everything was perfect. Food service and atmosphere. You need to try this Italian if you are likely to be in a 30 mile radius. Fabulous

Great early dinner with family. We sat outside and the whole experience food service ambience were perfect! My Calves liver was exceptional. Perfectly cooked and accompanied with delicious crispy bacon sweet onions and divine mashed potatoes The fritto misto we shared ti start with was perfectly cooked, crisp and very fresh My granddaughter loved her pizza and ate all of it ! Drinks were also excellent my mojitos was absolutely ideal for the wonderful summers evening The food and service are 100% authentic Italian and we were delighted with our evening

Wonderful friendly attentive staff, fantastic food and wine. A great place to go for a catch up with family and friends. The Maitre d is always welcoming and helpful. We were served by Sara who looked after us really well. She did not rush us, gave us plenty of time to chat.

If we want to go out for a family meal local to us we always visit here. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, we quite often have Sara who is wonderful, and there is something for everyone on the vast menu! My husband loves the chicken liver starter which seems to have disappeared, please bring it back, with my favourite being the tuna tartare starter! And the pizzas are always a hit with all ages of the family! And if you love a Sunday lunch, you have to try here, take a look at my photo because it’s honestly as good as it looks! Being members of the rewards app has good perks so I would advise signing up for that! Although on that note I do prefer the old rewards system to the new but that’s a chain issue and not the restaurants. It is time the restaurant had a little spruce up though I feel, so the venue matches the food and service!

We popped in for lunch ...no booking, and had a great meal. Clean table settings and table cloth...the staff are great, Sara was a star in looking after us. Garlic bread to share was herby and tasty...pasta was perfectly cooked for mains....quick and easy

How many times would I drive past Piccolino's in Collingham and say to my wife, we should try that place it looks nice? Countless times over a 25 year period...and in the end it was someone else who made the arrangements. We attended with the car club to which we belong, but this review is our personal impression. The first thing to remark upon is the atmosphere. Loud, entusiastic noises from everywhere in a full estaurant...the place really buzzes. The service was attentive, and the food (on a reduced menu, because we were a party of 30+ and wanted to preselect) was very good. My aubergine starter was excellent, and it was nice to have it cooked like this, my cooking of aubergine for a starter is a little heavier that this, thie was wonderfully light. The bruscetta with tomatoes which my wife had was fairly standard, nothing to wroite home about. For mains we had the seafiood kebabs which were superb. The puddings were excellent too (creme caramel and ice cream). I'd love to go back, just as a couple, and explore the wider menu. But this was a great appetiser for what the restairant can do. Coping with a large group like ours without even batting an eyelid augurs well for a return.

Birthday surprise. Excellent food and drink. I don’t usually have 3 courses but the food was soo nice. Sara was excellent and waited our table. We did not feel rushed.

Great food as ever. However, the venue is really starting to look shabby - horrible toilets (toilet seat was broken) and generally worn out decor in the main restaurant. I suspect lease is due to expire and they don’t want to invest. It’s expensive, which is fine, but the venue needs to up its game in line with the premium pricing.

A lovely busy atmosphere with plenty of friendly staff. A varied menu with reasonable choices for the children. The tuna tartare was very tasty and a large portion. The star main course was the bistecca fiorentina ( an amazing rib of beef ) for 2 and served on a platter. Very tasty and tender. The tuna and the king prawns were amazing but the crab ravioli was a little lacking in flavour. The desserts were very good, especially the children’s. The non alcoholic cocktail was perfect. Overall an excellent, if rather expensive evening.

First class food and service! We came here twice in January as part of their 50% off offer for the new app. We had completely different meals both times and the food and service was exceptional. We visit a few times a year and always receive a warm welcome from Davide who knows my husband’s name! Well done, without doubt the most consistent restaurant that we have ever visited. We came for dinner tonight for a long overdue catch up with my parents and we were not disappointed! Special shout out to our exceptional server Sara, who truly looked after us, made sure our glasses never ran dry and provided a very memorable and welcoming service. The food was top notch with a sharing garlic bread, starters and mains finishing with a sharing desert and some cocktails. Thank you to the team for looking after us and very well done for handling such a busy Friday night the way you did. :)

I've been dining at this restaurant for over a decade, and every visit is an absolute pleasure. The service is impeccable, with special recognition to Sara, Francesco, Paolo, and Salvatore, who consistently offer warm, attentive hospitality. They always go above and beyond. As a vegan with celiac disease requiring a gluten-free diet, I'm grateful for their efforts in providing delicious options tailored to my dietary needs. This establishment remains one of my favourite dining spots, and I can't thank them enough for their exceptional service.
