La Genoise Cafe in Barnet

It's an absolutely amazing place, and I always come here for my apple Strudel,the best one Friendly staff, excellent service, and good food.

Fantastic service. A gem of a find. Vegetarian omelette with spinach and mushrooms, with a pear and ginger juice. Just divine, thank you.

I’m not in the habit of writing reviews but I was blown away by the outstanding service I was treated to in this cafe. The food was delicious and any top restaurant could learn a few tips from the service at this super friendly local cafe.

I was in the area and was looking for a halal cafe and this one came up locally so thought I would go. Staff were really polite, courteous and attentive. Food was nice. Can’t go wrong.

We were far too late for lunch but wanted something. Quiche to share, pastries, coffee all really good and just what we wanted. Will happily come again, even maybe to buy patisserie for guests.

We popped in for coffee. The salad selection looked so good that we stayed for lunch. The right decision! £7.95 for a big bowl with a free choice of salads. Delicious options but the French beans with caramelised onions were the surprise star of the show. Wowza. The French toast was beautifully prepared, crisp and syrupy. We will be back!

I come here often to meet up with friends. The coffees and their special tea (fresh mint, lemon and honey) are fantastic. Lovely selection of fresh food and pastries. Service is always very friendly. Very clean. There’s another place that does similar food across the road, but this place feels much more spacious and not as noisy. Great for catching up with friends. Love this place! I often rave about this place to those who ask where to go in north finchley :D

I love this cafe! The staff are so friendly and welcoming . The food is absolutely delicious and there is such a range of healthy options, so many delicious salads!. Such good value too, highly recommend!

We had some really lovely quiches and sandwiches. But the highlight was the apple crumble. Everything is very fresh and well presented. They clearly put a lot of thought into their food. It was a pity that we couldn’t eat in because the dining area looks very homely and would be a great place to stop for a coffee and sandwich. You must try this place if you’re in the area.

Just popped in for coffee and the had almond milk. Super .. had latte and orange and coconut muffin. The chocolate muffin was full of melted chocolate inside. Friendly atmosphere. Their menu also looks delicious. Great find.

The panini I had (third down on their blackboard) was incredibly nice. Also, the coffee was nice compared to main chains... Staff were very nice, gave us water without asking for it and made sure we were comfortable. I will go back soon.

A lovely cafe! Delicious pastries and everything is so fresh. Their salads and quiches are yummy, would highly recommend.

My daughter and I were shopping in North Finchley and took the opportunity to pop into Genoise for a coffee but instead we had some delicious Crepes together with coffee. The restaurant was beautifully clean and to me this is a plus point. The staff were helpful and always with a smile. This is my first visit to the restaurant, but no doubt we will be back!

Have come here a couple of times now, so it's time I wrote a review! Really tasty food, good option for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and lots of tasty treats also! There are takeaway options as well which is very handy if/when you're on the go. Very friendly staff and excellent value for money.

I became addicted to this place! Came here 3 times in the last 3 days. If you want to eat healthy and you don’t have that much time (they even do take away😍) this is your place! Many options on the menu, helpful, smiley, friendly customer service. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.👌🏽🍴☕️

Dropped in with a friend who lives nearby. We both had the savoury crepe and it was nice, made with care and skill. An unassuming local favourite with great personal service. Recommended.
