La Fratelli Restaurant in Kingston upon Thames

Disgusting. £37 for a margarita and calzone. The margarita's mozzarella was gelatinous and disgusting. The passata on the base was awful. The meat in the calzone tasted like it was frozen. Just all in all an awful meal. If you want a delicious pizza that is actually worth the cost, try Pizzarium in Epsom. Actual Neapolitan pizza instead of this god awful mess. Truly disgusting for the price. £37 down the drain but at least now I know, and hopeful can warn others. You'd be better off buying from Dominos than from these cowboys. Charging people out the rear end for this garbage, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Found this little gem of a place while I was working away staying in chessington ! From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the owner who was very friendly and polite , clean and tidy inside , the menu has loads to offer from pastas - to pizzas etc , vegetarian choices too , Food was well presented and tasted fresh and like a bit of love went into making it , I had a sea food linguine dish which was beautiful, plenty of mussels and prawns (definitely not stingy with the portions) beats your Bella Italia’S any day , and it’s reasonably priced , you could get a 3 course meal for 20 quid in there , it’s that good I’ve been back every night this week while I was staying around the area , trying different dishes on menu , absolutely brilliant place can’t find fault anywhere , this restaurant needs more recognition, I can see this place becoming very popular!!! 5 stars

Great little Italian restaurant. Good food and service, well priced. Good for all ages, plenty to choose from on the menu, suitable for vegetarians also. Well located in Tolworth High Street, near to train and bus stations.

We have been to this restaurant a few times now over the past 4-5 months and every time the food has been spot on! 🍝👌🏼 The service is great, it’s a very friendly, family run restaurant! Excellent for families, couples, anyone 👍🏼 They offer a very good selection of Italian food which is very reasonably priced for the quantity and quality. If we could we would eat there every week, it’s that good!! I would recommend to anyone wanting to go somewhere for a good honest meal!

I’m still sooo angry-My boyfriend and I went for my birthday and we were so disappointed-we had a small glass of house red which was ok but our starter arrived (the bread, olives, oil and vinegar) we weren’t given any plates, there was 4 pieces of bread which was full of holes, the oil and vinegar was served already mixed-made the bread way too vinegarey which was bad enough! Then the mains came and it was very very bland-the pepper grinder hardly worked so we ended up seasoning with chilly oil but there were so many chilli seeds-it blocked the oil from coming out and the candle wouldn’t light xos it was burnt out so we took one from another table to find it was exactly the same! Then the bill came and they tried to over cbyus for the wine!! Absurdly awful and will not go back. I’ve told all of my friends to avoid this ‘restaurant ‘ To make matters worse, we went back to complain and their website says they open at 12 but they were closed so if anyone is thinking of going for lunch, you’ll be disappointed but I would highly recommend NOT going at any time of day!!!

The menu is quite limited but the quality of the food is good. I'm not sure that the food is authentic Italian, perhaps an Asian infusion? But nonetheless, quite tasty and not overly expensive. It's relatively new and has never seemed too busy but they are obviously still building their clientele. Certainly worth a try if you're in the area.

If you want true Italian food, avoid this awful restaurant. I am Italian, btw, before anyone says I don’t know what I am talking about. Speck, which was processed (apparently Halal) was absurd. Pizza was ok but rest of the meal was rubbish. Too many spices added unnecessarily to dishes, making them ‘un-Italian’. Not authentic at all.

It's so great to know there's Italian food available in Tolworth made with love. The service is always personal and such good value for money. The owner is passionate about good food and this shows. I have visited this restaurant twice and will visit many more times.

My colleague and I arranged a group party booking for our members from Kingston Association for the Blind. The food was enjoyed by everyone along with the fantastic wine and very reasonably priced. The owner Mohammed and his wife were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant. We shall certainly be returning again and will be letting friends, family and others know about it. Thank you for making it special for all our members.

Our Ten Bin Bowlers went to La Fratelli recently for a Christmas get-together. The food was excellent as was the service from the friendly staff at this lovely restaurant. We had two guide dogs in there along with our Visually Impaired members, nothing was too much trouble for the owner and staff. Have been recommending it to my friends and family.

Fabulous food We love this place! The food is always delicious and we always come back to this restaurant. Staff is friendly, portions are generous and reasonably priced. Definitely try it. You won't regret👌

We happened to be having an event on Tolworth Broadway outside the library. The delightful owner of La Fratelli nearby brought us out some pizzas to share and they were great. As a result MLW and I decided we had to go and eat there and in fact we've been twice in the last two weeks, once as a group of ten friends and once as a couple. On both occasions the food and wine were great and the service friendly. This will be a regular I'm sure - so nice to find something this good nearby

La Fratelli is the best Italian restaurant in the Surbition area, it has a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The chef and staff are very friendly and care about the customers a lot. The food was lovely, very reasonably priced and we all enjoyed it massively. We went as a group some of us had pizza and others had pasta, we all loved our food a lot and will be sure to visit again very soon. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, highly recommend.

One of the best restaurants in the Tolworth and Surbiton area, definitely worth visiting. Pizza cooked to perfection, pasta, steak basically everything on the menu! Perfect ambience, comfortable seating. Helpful and friendly staff and priced very good! So good we return at least 2 to 3 times a week!! We love it!!

Went with my family of 6 and the service was excellent and patient considering the fuss and noise the kids were making. The food arrived quickly and we were offered advise on our orders. The decor and ambiance were very pleasant. The food was delicious (as my youngest son said "very delicious") with great variety and prices. Highly recommend this restaurant for a family or a couple or solo. Plan to go back with other family and friends.

This new Italian restaurant is fantastic. The food is excellent and really reasonably priced. This was our second visit and we will be back many times to come. Service is very good and always with a smile. If you like traditional Italian then this is the place to come to.

Just had dinner with my wife in the new Italian on Tolworth Broadway. What a pleasant surprise. Food was fantastic, really good service and reasonably priced. Such a joy to find a restaurant in the local area that cares about their food and customer's. Fantastic!! Will be back.

Great service, great tasting food at reasonable prices. I had a pasta with Tuna and Olives - simple food but tasted authentic. Finished off with a very nice lemon dessert. Well worth a try.

Myself and my husband had pizza there this evening and we both agreed it was the best pizza we've had in quite some time. Staff are pleasant and attentive,service was quick, ambience was great,we will definitely be returning and recommending to anyone who listens!!!

This was our first visit to this new restaurant, very surprised by the quality of service and wonderful tasting food . Exceptional value for money Definitely worth a visit and we will be visiting again .
