We love this restaurant and have visited a few times since we discovered it. Always welcomed in with a smile. Service is just right, not rushing you to order within seconds of sitting down but not slack either. Interior is older in style but is warm and comfy. Lots of old movie star pics and cinema posters on walls. Food is excellent, good Italian pasta, and good value for your money.

Food is absolutely delicious! Was brought to the table very fast, waiters very polite. Really nice atmosphere, nice decorations. Will definitely visit again :)

Went there after attending a show in Business Design Centre. It was 8 of us and all us of enjoyed our food. It was pretty busy as there was another big group of families with kids. My lasagne was amazing and i had chocolate brownie. For the service and quality of food they seem to be cheap … I shall try them again in the evening especially the al fresco area when the weather is better

I have been to La Divina a few times and what draws me back is the consistency of the food, service and value for money. It is a wonderful local Italian restaurant and one I will visit again. The service is both friendly and quick and with a smile. The penne arrabiata and the pizza we ordered were excellent especially the pasta, with the right texture, portion and flavour. I highly recommend La Divina Italian Restaurant.

Absolutely wonderful experience, so good on Sunday we returned on Monday. Ate her on Sunday with my wife & it really was an amazing experience, the food, hospitality, atmosphere were all fantastic…..so as I said earlier on we went back on Monday & although it was quieter, very same experience with the food and the staff……well done to everyone !! I came to this restaurant with my friend for a quick lunch and was taken back by the authentic furniture and utterly delicious food. We came to the restaurant with no booking and we were greeted by staff who sat us down and offered I refreshments almost immediately. I had the garlic tomato bread for starters, this was freshly cooked and you could really tell. Now onto my main, I had a pasta, bacon and onion with tomato sauce, this was to die for. The flavours took me on a 10 second holiday to a beautiful beach in a hot country with a summer breeze. For dessert, I had a brownie with ice cream, the brownie was warmed and along with the ice cream left my tummy extremely satisfied. I will be returning to this place again to try another dish on their amazing yet simple menu.

Llevo 6 años viniendo a La Divina, tienen los entrantes más deliciosos. Me dan los calamares, tricolor y gambas para empezar, que son Dios mío para morirse. Para los platos principales, siempre tomo la pasta con marisco, que es la mejor que he probado, vivo a una hora del restaurante y siempre viajo especialmente por La Divina. Pedí Gamberoni All'aglio por segunda vez, la primera vez que pedí el plato como entrante con un plato principal de mariscos, terminé mezclándolos pero disfruté mejor de este plato. Los langostinos jumbo estaban tan frescos como la primera vez y deben ser un plato estrella del chef. Hecho con ajo y salsa de vino blanco, agregué linguini, pero me aseguro de que esté listo porque el pescado se puede comer solo. Es un plato suave con una porción de sabor aromático que es bueno para uno.

We were in Islington and luckily stumbled across this restaurant.The service was very friendly and we chose from the 2 course set menu which included a glass of wine for £15 each.The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very efficient. We both went for the classic spag. bol. and would highly recommend it.Everything was carried out in accordance with the special Covid rules we find ourselves in.The restaurant was tastefully furnished and we wish we had more time to look at all the pictures on the walls.We will definitely visit again if we are in the area.Recommended!

We could not have chosen anywhere better.We booked in advance, and it was so nice to be recognised by the staff, having had n=many meals and family get- togethers hereThe food was , as always , excellent, the wine delicious and the whole experience so relaxing .This restaurant serves, in my opinion, the best Italian food outside Italy. I also love the fact that there are choices for vegetarians.Any family celebrations, weekend lunches/ dinners or a desire for delicious food and a lovely atmosphere, I know exactly where to go!

I’ve been using this restaurant since they opened for takeaways but since lockdown I must say the quality of the food has dropped massively. I noticed it a couple of weeks ago and I’ve just ordered what I have usually and the pizza dough was soggy and the pasta sauce was nowhere near what it used to be. Very disappointed and will not be using for a while. Go back to what you know

Do not order via deliveroo! I ordered my meal and TWO items were not delivered. I even called to confirm they would add an item! And when the food come BOTH items were missing! The chicken was extremely tough and pasta was tasteless. Overall very unhappy with my order!

On Friday evening me and my bestie decided to try LaDivina's food after all the good reviews we heard about. We didn't have a reservation but popped in to see if there were any tables and luckily they had just had a cancellation. I can honestly say the service was brilliant - attentive but not intrusive. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We would be back and that's for sure!!!

Just an overall lovely and memorable experience! We arrived during the peak time on a Friday night with a family of four (1 child and one toddler) and had the best experience ever. First of all they kindly offered to take our buggy in the back so our table had more room. Then a highchair arrived in no time without even having to ask! We felt no rush whatsoever even though it was packed and people were actually queuing for a table at the bar. Our children received some dough to play with and could make their own pizza! It kept them busy and we were able to enjoy our dinner and actually have time to ourselves. We never wanted to leave!The food was just spon on too. We had a special salmon bruschetta and a garlic bread and some lovely arrabiata with a benjamin pizza for mains. To top it off the dessert from the specials menu was just gorgeous. The kids enjoyed their kids menu which was kindly offered to us also came as a surprise as it was busy busy.Overall an absolutely awesome experience: food, service, atmosphere and vibe. They are busy actually looking after their guests rather than just serving the food. It’s great. We are going to come back! Just note that you might need to book as they are always crowded and we can see just why! Grazie miele!

I've been to La Divina multiple times now and in different occasions (being the last time on NYE) and I don't have a single thing to complain about, only positives.The food is great, from the seafood risotto to the pizzas, pastas and lasagna; the staff is super friendly and nice and the overall environment is good and cosy, even during busier times. The prices are very reasonable and the portions good as well. Perfect place for a nice dinner. I'll absolutely keep on visiting and recommending.

A group of friends have met up here every 6-8 weeks and the staff and food are normally lovely. We have a disabled friend, JB, who had a stroke and walks a bit slowly with a slight gait. He came early at about 6.30 for our dinner date and asked for a table for 3. He was told that they were fully booked and had nothing available all evening. He then had to try and find somewhere else for us which is difficult for him as his cab always drops him just outside. I arrived at 7.00 and asked for a table for 3 and was promptly seated not knowing that my friend had been turned away. Our third friend found JB and brought him back here. He walked in and was greeted warmly, however when JB walked-in behind, the same waiter who told him they were booked up all night tried to stop him from joining us, and would only let him in after I said he was with us!He was trying to prevent a disabled man join his friends....We didn’t realise what had happened and should have left then immediately. However, we rushed through a meal and when we asked why they were treating a disabled person so badly, they made excuses and said they thought he looked drunk. No apology to JB who was understandably very upset. We can’t possibly go back after this shocking discrimination. Avoid

Just read a bad review for this restaurant. I can’t believe my eyes. We have been dining here every week since it opened and have never had a bad experience. Both the food and hospitality have always been excellent, we are always made so welcome that we feel like family. This includes on several occasions my wheelchair bound friend who has also had a stroke and they have always been most accommodating. We have been eating here monthly with a group of friends for at least 2 years... Last night i witnessed the most disgusting behaviour from the manager/waiter towards my disabled friend and we will never eat in this restaurant again. My disabled friend arrived 20 mins early and was told he could not come in and that it would be impossible to have a table that evening... He called me to say he was going to another place in stroud green (and started the difficult for him journey to finsbury park station) 15 minutes later my other friend called me to say that he was sat in the restaurant where he had a nice table for the 3 of us waiting...! I drove to Finsbury park and collected my other friend and returned to La Divinia happy that we had a table. However when we were walking in the Manager/ Waiter stopped my friend entering and only allowed him to enter when it was established he was with us.....UTTERLY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR. We would have left immediately but my other friend had already ordered some food so we ate quickly and left..... When i went to leave i spoke to the MAnager and told him how disc=gusting his behaviour was and he tried to deny it ( i witnessed it with my own eyes) and then another waiter tried to say they turned my friend away as they thought he was drunk!!! just disgusting behavior and something i have never witnessed before. They clearly didnt want a disabled person in there busy restaurant.... My friend had a stroke and has difficulty walking and using his right arm....he doesn't look drunk he looks disabled you morons.... Absolutely no remorse and no attempt to apologize to my friend who was visibly shaken by this treatment...Disabled Discrimination live in Islington...AVOID if you are not a perfect specimen of a human being..

Went there for lunch today. The food is lovely and cooked fresh, you know that by my friend not wanting garlic in the mussel pasta.It is great value for what you get , they also do pasta or pizza for takeaway for under £5.00. An excellent lunch before a matinee at the Almeida Theatre just around the corner. Superb set menu with plenty of choice and including lots of homemade dishes. Very reasonable. Service very pleasant. Couldn’t work out why it was so quiet... Would definitely return when going to the Almeida again.

Visited with family including three young grandsons. The children were made to feel welcome and their menu choices explained. Food was excellent as was the service and staff who very friendly and efficient. Good value for money. Well worth a visit.

Comenzamos con entrantes de gambas - ajo - mantequilla y cuando vinieron a recoger el plato, dije en broma que era una pena que no hubiera pan para limpiar el plato. Se fue y trajo un pequeño plato de panes, le expliqué que no hablaba en serio y le pedí que se llevara el plato. Cuando llegó la factura, había un 2. 45 agregados para pan, y un masivo 7. 50 cargo por servicio. Así que ambos juntos me habrían comprado otro plato principal, por así decirlo (no es que no fuera a dar propina). Mi mensaje para el personal: hacer una comunicación concisa y clara para que los clientes no se queden con sorpresas de última hora. Debo mencionar nuevamente que su comida era deliciosamente sabrosa.

We visited La Divina on Friday night and the food was great. I had lasagna and my partner had rump steak with mushrooms in a Diane sauce. We had a great bottle of Murial Rioja red wine and the portions were really generous.

I had a fabulous meal here for my birthday yesterday. The staff were lovely and very accommodating - particularly with the vegan in the group. We had a table for 9 - we were given a nice large table/area towards the back of the restaurant. The food was delicious and really reasonably priced too.

Lovely pizzas and pasta dishes. Looked after my family well - when they saw my children were interested in the pizza making process they bought small amounts of dough and ingredients to make their own which they loved! Great, friendly service, and surprisingly less expensive than expected. We make this place part of our day out when we visit the Little Angel Theatre.
