Needs a better eat-in setup The food was great but while we were sat eating we had people all around us queuing and waiting for collection so felt like animals in a zoo really... I had the Al Capone burger which was nicely assembled and cooked well. The pulled brisket was more like pastrami though. The chicken tenders were good but could have been crispier. I was disappointed that I had to pay extra for a dip and not only that, I paid for 2 because the server misheard me changing my choice... No other sauces are offered (e.g. ketchup, mayo, BBQ) and I had to ask for napkins. Definitely somewhere I'll try again due to the vast menu but I'll try to pick a quieter time.

Nice little place in Team valley. Food was amazing. Had the salt and chili chicken, with chips, rice and curry sauce. Wow........definately be back again. 😍😍😍😍 be prepared to wait if you haven't ordered, but the wait is worth it. 😉😉

Food is always good here, I tried the special burger which had a smashed onion bhaji with two beef patties and cheese with jalfezi sauce which came with tikka masala loaded fries. Also got a cream cake and another one 😆 . It was nice for something different, they always have some special on, this place is a must for a visit if your looking for somewhere to try. Highly recommend 👌.

We have been wanting to eat here for a while and it didn't disappoint, food was outstanding and the service was great, we didn't wait long for our food even though it was lunch time. Can't wait to go back 😁

Make sure you have plenty of time as I can get really busy, with a little bit of a wait. And hard to find a space to park if you have the car with you. Apart from that, fantastic food.

The burger was so tasty, loaded fries were exactly as advertised, hot and spicy and the coffee was good too.

Outstanding burger - obviously hand made..... and the dirty fries were really tasty too.. I often find them a bit rich but here they were lovely. Price was reasonable too.. would definitely visit again thank you!

It's always busy, depending on what you order there can often be a long wait. But, it's always worth the wait, the food is excellent and very tasty. The only issue is that it's in the middle of an industrial estate and the parking is very limited. The surrounding businesses have coned out their parking spaces.

I visited today during lunch time 1pm. To get the Thursday special as a treat for myself as I have seen so much amazing social media publicity on there menu, reviews and specials. I ordered the chicken chilli and salt Thursday special. Dissatisfied is not the word, the chicken was greasy, curry sauce watery, fries were limited and the rice was also watery. I waited 30 minutes for 1 take out meal, given they were very busy. But I felt it was a complete waste of time and money.

The burgers are excellent proper meat and the sauces and fries are spot on

Been really excited to try this place left the metrocentre to try the food here to now find out it's closed for the day. When it states on Google the cafe doesn't close until 4! Won't be driving here again.

Third time I've been for food, work nearby and every time staff have proper chip on shoulder attitude. I get that working in food industry i nearly bottom peg of the ladder but seriously they rush customers to place the order and then if you take more than 5 seconds looking at menu they start sighing and tutting under their breath at you. Last weeks visit will be me last, staff being rude behind the counter complaining about another customer for absolutely no reason. Also the food looks nothing like the pictures you see on social media, burgers are burnt, bacon baps under cooked loads of fat and portions are a lot smaller than what they post on Facebook.

We popped in yesterday and got 3 pistachio buns a hippo bun and a pistachio pot. They were all delicious, the only thing I would recommend is to layer the pots with a thin layer of flavouring so it's not super thick on the top and you could crack though it like a crème brulé, it would break up the cream mixture and add a bit of texture. But honestly it was delicious, satisfying and priced perfectly. I hope you continue to do well 👌

Food was great and plenty of it. It did take a while to get the food so would recommend ordering but worth the wait. Plenty to choose from as well.

Staff were extremely friendly. The queue however was extremely long with only one person able to serve and one person on milkshakes, this really needs a bigger staff investment. While the cream buns were nice this is just an Instagramable fad, that said there are plenty of other sweet treats which looks absolutely amazing so definitely still worth checking out!

Can’t believe this was our first time trying.. I’ve hesitated because generally when food looks ‘instagrammable’ It’s never that nice, but this really is! We got 2 specials, 2 cans of pop, 2 brownies, a stuffed cookie and a cookie pie for £44 so value is also insane! Can’t wait to try more 😍

Never been before, but definitely going back. While waiting for my car to be repaired I wondered by La Cucina Louuge & popped in. Wow I wasn't disappointed, great atmosphere very lovely staff & the food is fantastic. The place is hidden away, but it is a busy place offering sit in or takeaway & fairly priced with a great menu. Oh & the cake chose is fantastic. Well worth a visit .👍👌😋

The most amazing food I have ever tasted in a long time. The chicken was so tender! Fresh food, massive potion sizes for good value for money. It is so busy at lunch time but you can pre-order. Will absolutely be back!

Al Capone burger and upgrade to bacon my heart loaded fries …. First time trying this won’t be the last absolutely unreal loved it

Overpriced and disappointing! Went with a colleague and both the got shawarma flatbread to take out which cost £9.50!!!! The chicken was clearly reheated and very dry, we got a different sauce each and they were both tasteless, damp soggy salad and the flatbread was stodgy - we went at 11.30! The sweet potato fries were very good - but not worth the money! Definitely would not go back and would not recommend!

Finally tried this place today! Got the honey chilli chicken burger with fries and coleslaw. The burger was lovely, nice and crispy chicken. Fries looked nice but had no taste and the coleslaw was decent and homemade. Overall not bad, looks better on the photos

I’ve seen La Cucina pop up on my Facebook and really fancied trying it out! We were at Team Valley yesterday so took the opportunity to pop in. It did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. The portion size is huge…didn’t eat for the rest of the day! Can't wait to go back and try something other than breakfast!

Took 25 minutes for food, but it was delicious.

Can't comment on the food as after being stood at the counter for 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging me, I gave up. The staff were preoccupied with pre-orders, and while I understand they were busy, a polite acknowledgement I existed and was waiting would have been appreciated. As others have mentioned the premises is small and needs a rethink.

Rang up on Friday to order for work end of term for 9 people. Asked for collection for 11.30 and was told that was fine. When colleague went to collect they were told it hadn’t started being cooked and they knew nothing about the order. Colleague waiting for 30 minutes and asked it if was nearly ready and was told ‘it’ll be a few minutes we are busy.’ Food was finally ready for 12.20 and handed her with ‘there you go’ no apology for waiting. I rang up to find out what had happened with order and their attitude was shocking. Lady answered the phone and couldn’t understand why I was annoyed she said ‘well the girl who collected would have got an apology when yous got your food’ to which I told her she didn’t. She then very loudly said to her work colleague ‘I’ve got someone on the phone complaining that there food wasn’t ready she’s being horrible someone else can speak to her.’ I’m assuming the manageress took over phone call and asked what happened I started by telling her I’d heard everything that lady had said and as a business they need to accept criticism or complaints and she said she wasn’t talking about me…she was. She did apologise and explained it was busy with Christmas rush and people had been rude to staff etc but attitude was very much ‘well you got your food’ yes I got my food but due to arranging lunches some of us got it 2 hours after we ordered and it was cold. Food - ok Service- shocking

I was in today and I had a burger and some cheesecake The burger was the tastiest burger I've had perfectly constructed and I will be back next week for the same again.

I was advised to order ahead as it gets busy. Really nice decor. No sign of white unwelcoming cladding. My Dad and I had the Chinese much box which included salt, pepper, chilli chips and chicken. Noodles and 2 mini crispy spring rolls covered in not too much curry sauce. Hoping it tasted as good as it looks and we were not disappointed! For £10 a carton it was enough for 2 meals. I would encourage any contractors working away to come here as there’s enough for dinner and then something in the evening. Staff very friending and obviously great chefs in the kitchen. Definitely going back!

Me and my friend visited earlier, served by lady with long dark hair- wouldn’t bother trying to be served by her unless you’re a male. Created a bad atmosphere by the way she speaks to staff in front of customers is very unprofessional, as a manager myself I believe treat your staff with respect and they will do great work for you. Other than that food was really nice !

Food is delicious but very disappointing that the only day they’re open late (Friday), all they do is chicken tikka masala for their special. Never change it up to allow those who can’t get there before 3pm on the other days of the week to enjoy any of the other specials they offer, which look unreal! Either needs to be open later every day, or definitely needs a change of special on a Friday. I’m not saying every time but every so often would be nice to give others a chance!

10/10. You can always tell when you go somewhere and the food is made by people who have a passion for it. This plave absolutely has that. Front of house staff all very friendly and polite everytime ive been. Its always busy and its absolutely no wonder why. Keep on smashing it guys!

Chicken gyros really not great, don’t let the attractive photos deceive you (over priced) and customer service is not great. No manners from the women who gave me my food, just shouted my name and put my food on the counter.

Burger was good. Will certainly be back. It was really busy when I went so getting served took a little bit of time, there was plenty of staff on it was just super busy so you might need to factor this in if your nipping out on your lunch break

Went today put pre order in girl says no pre orders taken today...I said it was a man obviously then they clicked...no apologies ..Then no garlic in order...son goes in to ask more or less threw at him...plus don't like wrap been made with hands that have just been in till.wrap went in bin..won't return ever ..lack of communication.with my order. Staff are moody not friendly...try and communicate then you will get your facts right

Brilliant food and also really lovely staff. They accidentally dropped some of my food, fully replaced it and added to what was already there, then on top of that, offered a free cake when they most definitely didn’t need to. Will defo be going back

The staff at La Cucina are really friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and the food is just out of this world, if you haven’t been definitely worth a visit.

Deserts are amazing in this place, but customer service is shocking. On both occasions of going in I've felt so uncomfortable. If you are a "new customer" or face is not recongised you don't even get the basic greeting. Staff rudely continue their own conversations between themselves whilst trying to serve. I was undecided on what I want to order, however whenever I did decide what I wanted I over heard a member of staff say to another staff member "it's only took her 10 minutes". If anything this should been taking as a compliment as there was so much choice yet I felt so embarrassed and rushed. I felt very uncomfortable on my first visit yet I still gave the benefit of the doubt and went again. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

I would highly recommend visiting La Cucina Lounge Deli. Just tried the new Breakfast Burger and was fantastic. Great customer service, the staff are brilliant. Will definitely be visiting again!

I cannot fault the food here, it's very tasty, and the specials are always amazing. However, the management of orders is chaotic. Someone front of house needs to be leading the team and directing them, and it would be good if the pre-orders were put straight into the till when they were ordered (most EPOS systems have a table function for this) so that collections were quick and there wasn't a lot of confusion when it comes to who's ordered what. I generally do walk ins and it isn't uncommon to queue for 30-45 minutes. Today I queued for 30 minutes and there was only 4 people in front of me when I went in due to the chaos of trying to sort out the pre-orders, it might even be an idea to put these onto a separate till all together.

Probably one of the tastiest deli in the North East. I'll definitely be returning 😋

Feeling a bit disappointed... seen this place advertised loads on Facebook and the photos look absolutely amazing!!! Went today as the actual food, or at least the chicken shawarma wrap that I got, was average. At first we thought we had got the wrong thing as it came with cheese in it and didnt look like shawarma. I took it back to the desk and they even looked up at the menu before saying 'oh yeah it does have cheese in it' even though it doesn't list that in the ingredients on the menu. I also thought it would have been a bit of a bigger portion for the price. Thr chicken in it was also quite dry. I didnt find the staff to be very approachable either when I asked if they had anything salt and paper on the menu I just got 'no'. I didnt realise it was just on a special. There's limited places to sit and also with the door constantly left open it was a bit cold. As I say a bit disappointed as waited a while to try the place.

This place serves fantastic tasty food, there's always a daily special on, and the cakes, oh my you got to try them guys....staff are all so friendly, you can pre order your phone by telephone, as this place is always busy, you got to try it guys, you won't be disappointed......

After many recommendations I finally made it to La Lucina and was not disappointed! Not only was the chicken shawarma delicious with the mint yoghurt it was the Lotus biscoff milkshake that did it for me… wow oh wow I would drive miles for another one of these!

1st time having a takeaway from La Cucina must say it was absolutely lush i had Salt and Chilli Chicken with rice, curry and noddles and i throughly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this place and the desserts are unreal. Get yourself there ppl.

Amazing! First time visit based off a recommendation. Spoilt for choice with amazing sweet and savoury options. I ended up having a Chicken Shawarma with Sweet Potato Fries. Absolutely delicious! Since then, I've discovered that LaCucina frequently change their options with daily specials. Today, Bao buns with sweet chilli chicken and salt and pepper fries. If I wasn't on holiday, I'd be straight back for more. I'll be visiting LaCucina's whenever I'm passing thr Team Valley.

This place NEEDS a resteraunt! Always ques out the door , food quality is unreal and the price is decent too! Would love for these to have a resteraunt where I could have a proper sit in meal. I don't like tikka masala I'm more for spicy curry but this is LEGIT the best massala i have tried.. Also ALL deserts I have tried from there are bloody delicious! Wouldn't mind a one closer to home too haha (washington) lovely staff.
