It's permanently closed. Unsurprisingly. It was awful. But it's been closed for over a year I believe.

Food was good. Staff were friendly and polite. Only slight criticism would be the small size of the portions. But food was tasty, fast service, and will go again.

Great pizza good atmosphere too. 👌

Food was great, but the service needs improvement. Waitress was very welcoming but after that she was on her phone and we had to keep walking to the bar to get her attention or to remind her of orders we had made. Forgot our drinks twice, and there were only 2 tables to serve.

Really expensive not many people coming ,we were only 2 people from 8 o'clock booking to 10 30 I wonder how he can survive

A lot of the photos and comments appear to relate to the previous restaurant. They now have a new owner and management and operate as La Cucina. Menu has changed and prices too. We went on a Tuesday evening, it was rather quiet. We had 3 Starters and 3 mains. Tempura starter was very hot, crispy and beautifully presented, the only criticism is the batter, which was as thick as the prawn itself. The antipasti was a nice selection and includes some salad and greens. We all had pasta as mains. Lasagne was excellent value for money, it doesn't look much but tasted good. Gluten free option was accommodated, we had pasta Bolognese and Pescatore. Both were delicious.

We went celebrating my mothers birthday.The waiter noticed us celebrating and started playing happy birthday on the speakers, it was very thoughtful.He was incredibly friendly.The food was really nice.They completely catered to our needs. It was a lovely experience and I would Recommend

Good food and a very friendly service from a charming front of house. Liked the ambiance and the place feels very intimate, with an independent personal touch. Soup was delicious, as was the melanzani. For mains can recommend the carbonara and the calf liver especially nice, we got the set dinner option for the calf liver, so a bit smaller than the alla carte option, soooo delicious I will get the bigger one next time. For the set dinner order before 7, really great price and fantastic value. Deserts, best ice cream and superb terramisu. Will be back.

This is a delightful, friendly Italian restaurant. The menu is varied, and the food delicious, well presented, and freshly cooked. We will definitely be going back

Food is average and took about an hour to be served. Pizza was more like a foccacia. Staff was friendly but the overall experience not that great.

Excellent food. Great service. Best panna cota I ever tasted. House wine was good quality and fairly priced. Highly recommended.

Nice little restaurant, friendly staff, food average.

We had a recent 70th birthday party and I cannot stress how well organised the whole event went. Food was served on point, drinks were a plenty and the attention and care to detail was extraordinary. I don't think there was anything the owner said no to. In other words, he was extremely accommodating. This party was organised by my wife and she was incredibly impressed with all the compromises and suggestions placed forward. The food was lovely so much so we want to go back to appreciate a wider selection of the menu during a dinner. Pizza and pasta had lovely taste. I highly recommend it. If you go on Sunday you will be able to park for free outside the restaurant (Mon-sat restrictions). Otherwise side roads with parking exist.

Terrible service, the waiter was rude. The atmosphere was cold and hostile. The food was disappointing especially the pizza base with rosemary that they tried to pass off as focaccia.

Cosy, friendly service and very nice pizza

First visit for me, although my Sister and her husband had been a couple of times previously. Booking had been made but turn-ups are accommodated if space is available. Pace throughout our meal was good and very relaxed but attentive. Food (one starter, three mains and three desserts) was very good. Portions were large. Ambiance was good although, as previous reviewers have mentioned, a bit bright. Will be certain to return.

Has the potential to be a lovely evening out but we didnt receive the service or quality we expected. We were treated as if we weren't paying customers and were told to "order quickly". We then asked for a bill and were held for 25mins with no communication. Maybe they were understaffed or maybe the current climate made the atmosphere tense. Personally, the food was adequate and the entire group didn't feel it was that good. At least there are other good options in and around pinner. Hopefully the service will improve as well as the food.

Great food and friendly staff but the place was empty on a Friday night, had very bright lights and was boiling hot in August. The waitress also took everyone else’s plates away and even gave us the dessert menu while one of us was still eating, which was quite unrelaxing. As we’d only just finished eating our main courses, we didn’t order desserts, but probably would’ve done if we hadn’t been rushed.

I came for dinner and had a lovely time. Tasty food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. I have a lot of allergies and the chef was great and figured out what I could have and made something really tasty. I'm looking forward to going again as soon as I can!

Very disappointing ….very poor food and bad service I went with a friend to sample the Italian menu this restaurant has an excellent reputation and I have had good meals there in the past unfortunately on this occasion my friend and I were very disappointed the food was taste very bland and awful the soup was taste awful had no flavours !!!,the funchi saltati mushroom again the same taste unpleasant ! the seafood linguine ,tomato sauce awful not fresh seafood that had spent so long in the freezer that taste of fish its not fresh !, the ravioli aurora with cheese and spinach tasted like rubber and from a pack filled with a dollop of orange pink cream without any flavour !! the whole experience was awful and very poor food and bad service we really surprised at the rating it has not very impressed very disappointed would not recommend

I don't normally do this but had an awful experience there. We were the only people there on a Friday night which cannot be a good sign. Very poor food and I had to send my main back as I'm sure the fish had gone off. Really surprised at the rating it has.

Lovely food and great service. Would highly recommend. On the quiet side when we visited, more people should try this out.

Really good authentic Italian food

The food was okay, but service can really be improved. The waiters gave wrong information of what ingredients they had and didn’t have, the food took more than 20 minutes to arrive for 6 people when the place was completely empty. When we said we were in a rush, the waiters said it was because of the salmons that everything was taking so long. So we asked them to bring the other plates before the salmons. That did not happen and we waited 10 more minutes then they decided to bring everything together except for a pasta plate, which was served last. Even if we waited so long, the spoons for the pasta were served only after the pasta actually arrived. We also were not listened to when we asked for the cheese to be left on the table. I would avoid for groups and if you have limited time.

This place is very good, with a nice atmosphere. Lighting is perhaps a little bright but decent service and very friendly. Please check it out but try and go early to get the deal in the evening or lunch time otherwise it's a la Carte menu. Worth trying out and I had the vegetable lasagne with a green salad....the sparkling water is a bit expensive. The chef is very good with a decent reportoire, but please god save me from more pizzas.

Lovely place, very helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed a tasty dinner in two, accompanied by a very nice music in the background. Very nice restaurant that makes you come again and a place where you feel welcomed. Tasty food, plenty to choose from.

The food was disappointing. Veg Lasagne had double layers of pasta sheets and very few veg that were raw. Carbonara didn't look the same as it was not creamy at all.

One of us took a spaghetti invernali which was awful - this was just spaghetti, even doubtful that it was cook there, most probably coming from a pack; anyway the spaghetti was put on the plate with the vegetables, some carrots, peas and green beans coming straight from a pack and put on the pasta without any sauces or flavours; one of us took the carbonara with bacon that had spent so long in the freezer that the taste of bacon was not there, the bacon tasted more like rubber, one had a soup with again the same vegetables as for the spaghetti from a pack, the soup had no flavours, I had the ravioli with cheese and spinach, the ravioli tasted like rubber and from a pack, filled with a dollop of orange/pink cream without any flavour- the whole experience was awful and frankly it seemed that the person who did the cooking never went to a cookery school. My husband still never went to cookery classes but he does definitely cook better than what was served in this restaurant. When I came I saw that there were two tables with the sign ‘Reserved’ on - and on arrival we were put at the table by the door (I presume to attract customers) but as the French door was wide opened and I was not too well with a bad allergy we asked to be moved to one of the ‘reserved’ table as the presumed customers had not arrived yet and had the same numbers of plates. They seem to be unwilling to change but after us insisting we were moved. Still the night went on an no one turned up for the reserved tables. I cannot see this place open for too long as what we had served there was a total disgrace.

Amazing food, extraordinary menu, great ambience and above all excellent customer service. We went as a family and a delicious meal, truly authentic once again. The pizza was excellent and very good, Next time I will meet the chef but would like to extend my sincere thanks for such amazing lunch. Will be visit again, no more other high street chain’s boring food, come on in Pinner we have a excellent 5 start restaurant.

Excellent service, loved the food, never had such amazing food. We had nocchi, salmon, calamari, penne arabiata and some very scrumptious desert. The portion size is huge, which is amazing, in our Pinner there such a humble and real Italian restaurant, I didn’t know. Never again me and my family will eat anywhere else in a cheap made up so called italian restaurant chains out there! Osteria is our euphoria now 👍🏻👍🏻😊

Amazing food, new management is excellent!!!!!

Went to the restaurant today, definelty an underrated gem amongst the many regular old Italian chains on the high street. Portion sizes were great for the price, and the pasta was oozing with flavour. The ambience and staff were polite and attentive, its a shame not enough people know about this spot! Will definelty be returning. Also got a complimentary bread basket, which the new chains no longer provide! Heartiness>money making stands then apart. Ordered: Spaghetti bolognaise - Definelty a secret ingredient in here says my friend. Best she had ever had. Penne Arrabiata- As an italian connesueir, it had just the right amount of kick and a generous helping of sauce so the pasta wasn’t dry. Hot and fresh. Garlic Bread- Id say this is the only point where there could be some improvement, as id day it did lack the ‘garlic’ taste, however the rest of the meal really made up for this. Worth a visit if you’re in pinner!

Used to be great here but..... January 2019....DISASTER!! Chef/partner has left!! The restautant has turned into the usual run-of-the mill Italian. Haven't heard one positive comment from friends. I'll review when/if I've tried it for myself.

Get the owner to sing you a classic...will make the evening meal even better

My mum went for her 80th birthday dinner. This is her feedback: Cold plates, cold food, ice in drinks when requested without, very thin pieces of fish (sea bass), dessert was ok. Definitely wouldn't go again and not worth the money.

Busy restaurant, full of ambience, great mains, friendly attentive staff.

Lovely ambiance, friendly service, entirely reasonable prices. The food, however, was nothing special. Bruschetta burned, Carbonara entirely too creamy and w simple bacon, Bolognese a bit bland. Worth another shot perhaps but we’re not super optimistic.

People of Pinner. This is a great little restaurant. Why aren't you packing it out on Sunday lunch time?

Had a fabulous meal. Good food, very tasty, cooked perfectly and v e th friendly and welcoming staff. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

I can't understand why this restaurant has got such a high rate here: if you're Italian, you know that is not Italian food. Moreover, the food served is different from what you see described in the menu. An example? In the menu you read the original ingredients for a Carbonara (guanciale, pecorino, egg yolk), but everything you'll end up eating are spaghetti with an incredible amount of cream, pancetta (tesco's probably) and almost no trace of eggs. Now, this won't only kill all of your expectations, it's not just a matter of disrespecting a traditional recepie, but most importantly it is a very dangerous choice as you can't trust this restaurant in case you suffer from any allergies as they clearly advertise different food from what they actually serve you. Just in the same way they advertise to be an Italian "Osteria" in the first place.

This is a hidden gem. We went for Sunday lunch and all 3 courses for 4 of us were really tasty, well presented and good value for money. It was sad to see the place had only 2 tables occupied. It is a unique selling point and a bonus that they have coffee on the house at the end of the meal. Shouldn't put a good review as next time we want a table there won't be one !!!

Prices punching way above the experience The food was ok but service was like being in a comedy sketch, not onece during a three course meal did any of our 4 diners get the correct plate of food put in front of them, it was like a game of pass the parcel. If you pay these prices it should be silver service and the food a touch better. I'd lose the fancy plates and concentrate on the important stuff like your CUSTOMERS!

Very poor meal. First visit was lovely. This one very disappointing. Only 4 people in the restaurant. Doubt I will return.

This restaurant doesn't quite know what it is. Our favourite Italian dishes such as Veal and bolognese do not feature. I believe its trying to be a modern Italian but doesn't hit the mark - Romantic No! Food too salty and sides are extra - come on sides need to be included. Chef hangs around bar between cooking not a good sign. Menu needs more ootions. Best part was olives and bread. Bowls instead of plates. Can do better, I wish them luck

I was recommended to visit and didn't regret it. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. I had the prawns to start followed by the starter portion of the salmon ravioli. My partner had the special pigeon and the pork. We were very happy with our meals and are planning to visit again.

First time visit and received excellent service and delicious food. We even asked for something off the menu and the chef was happy to oblige and was delicious. The octopus starter is worth a mention. Will be returning soon. Highly recommended.

We went here for our wedding anniversary and the overall experience was really positive. Starters were absolutely amazing and staff attentive. The main courses were good but could have done with a bit more salt. All in all though for a local restaurant it's very good.

Relaxed atmosphere, art environment. Menu had variety with exception of dessert menu that perhaps required a little more inspirational thought, no fresh fruit options! Food served was tasty. Asked waiter what 'avruga' part of a salmon dish was and responded 'cheese' when in fact is artificial caviar made from herring. Waitering ok except had to get one's attention twice to get another bottle of wine. An experience!

At last a restaurant that stands out in Pinner! If you are looking for exceptionally good food this is the place. Seriously sought-after dishes, amazing service and care. The owner and chef is rising star. Sublime scallops and truffle, amazing fillet steak and the innovative peanut butter cheese cake was a masterpiece. Definitely reccomended. Paola and Chris
