Delicious food friendly staff great stop from the West Country authentic Italian food just on the A303 we had a proper decompress after a busy journey. I had sea bass and my partner had saltimbocca which were both excellent

Found this restaurant by driving past and enjoyed a lovely dinner. Both meals were a good size with a generous serving of meat. The only thing to slightly let down the evening was the slow service. It took a long time to receive our two drinks and we waited long enough to wonder if we were meant to order our food at the bar! After the meal, we waited nearly half an hour and wondered if our waitress had actually finished her shift at 9pm so didn't bother asking for a dessert menu. The waitress we had also didn't smile for the whole evening. This wouldn't stop us returning though as the food was lovely and hopefully we'd get someone different!

Such a fantastic restaurant! We went for a family birthday meal and were very impressed with the welcome and the vast menu options. The food was incredible and the service by both Chloe and Nevila was faultless. I am so pleased to have discovered this restaurant and can’t wait to visit again. This restaurant is well worth a visit if you are on holiday in Buckland St Mary, Somerset. Me and my partner had a lovely meal, fresh salads, pasta and good choice on menu reasonable price too.

We all chose the Sunday roast, choice of meats that came out with veg, gravy, roast potatoes and a delicious Yorkshire pudding. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Fabulous food reasonably priced. Excellent service. Clean friendly place. Don’t just drive by stop and enjoy especially sea bass garlic bread and tiramisu! Will def go back brilliant place. Great parking too.

The Eagle tavern got us out of a tight spot at very short notice. We'd booked a meal for 12 at a local restaurant but they had a power cut all day so cancelled us with 3 hours notice (not their fault at all but unfortunate). The Eagle Tavern or La Campagna, fitted us in so after a lot of calling people 9 of us made it. The food and service was excellent and we ended up having a brilliant evening. We couldn't fault anything.

Our second visit, equally enjoyable as the first. Atmosphere was very good, very friendly staff. Enjoyable food. I rarely, if ever give 10 out of 10 rating as no one’s perfect!

What we had was very good, however the menu has changed so our favourite is no longer on there. The food was good but not as good as it used to be.

We went for Christmas lunch today, it was stunning, I could not fault the food or the amazing staff. I had the turkey and my wife had the lamb, simple great. Both our plates were almost licked clean. Warm and friendly staff, it was a lovely time and besides being out favourite restaurant throughout the year,we would not go anywhere else for Xmas lunch.

We had a lovely waitress but unfortunately the food was not great for the price paid and service was pretty slow! We had garlic bread as a table starter as none of us wanted an actual starter then we had mains. Just this took 2hrs! Reluctant to order dessert we were assured it wouldn’t be a long wait but that was a good 20 mins and £6:50 for 3 scoops of not great quality ice cream was not worth the wait! We spent over £120 here and had a service charge of £17 which I find pretty bad considering the wait time and quality of food! To be perfectly honest the cannelloni I had was bland and unfortunately I don’t recommend eating here

very dissapionted 16 people mega meal ,service was underpass ,my chicken is tarragon sauce to strong, asked service for more water on tables,didnt turn up ,was a 10% service charge on my bill which I didn't notice until I paid bill, couple of people in group had tuff grizzle in their steaks, the 4 children's meal came with free ice cream the didn't turn up ?when paying bill didn't get free chocolate mints?,service didn't ask if food was ok when everyone was eating ?,pudding menus was given out but no one came back to ask if anyone would like puddings for the amount the four families payed this was pore won't be going back in a hurry

We all had great time, food fantastic, atmosphere perfect and staff were amazing for our large group. Group had pasta, steaks, pizza all of which cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning - thanks!

I had a very good day at Salisbury Races, and with a two hour trip home, I wanted to break the journey and have dinner, rather than going home to cook! I was very warmly welcomed, and shown to a table, which I was given a choice off! Their is a good choice on the menu, but I was ready for a steak. This was cooked perfectly, and I was asked if everything was ok for me, and yes I was very happy! A good choice of desserts too, and the Pannacotta was perfect. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant, and sure I will be calling in again soon!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.The servce was very friendly and efficient, the chef came out to ask how the food was too.We sat in a covered outside area wich was pleasant on a hot day. I had a very nice glass of white italian wine,and butternut squash ravioli that was really delicious, with butter and sage it was authentic and a good sized portion. They had a separate vegan menu for my lunch companion. There was a very pleasant ambience. Will definitely return.

The restaurant was clean and well lit with the tables nicely spaced, background music was just that, and the ambience was very good. Our waitress for the night was Amber, who was excellent & very attentive. The drinks and food orders were taken, and the service was excellent. We ordered cocktails 🍸 which were very good, followed by a shared starter (garlic/tomato/pizza). The 3 mains were all good portions, well presented and very tasty (cannelloni, tagliatelle/Duck/Parma Ham/Mushrooms/Marsala & Cream, Lamb Shank). We then decided to have the shared dessert, excellent choice, and mixed selection for up to 4 people. The whole meal and experience was excellent, reasonabley priced, well done to all the Team. Definitely recommend and will revisit when next in the area again.👏👏👍

This was my wife’s birthday treat for me. We have driven passed this restaurant on numerous occasions. On my wife’s suggestion several weeks ago we booked a table for two. We are glad we booked, even at the reasonably early time of 6:00pm the restaurant filled quickly. The service was friendly, efficient but not in your face. The food was delicious, very nicely presented. It was some the hottest restaurant food I’ve ever been served, hats off to the kitchen team! The antipasto was so good next time we may have it as a main course!

2nd time here and just as good as the 1st visit. Great food service and price. We live near Worthing but had a better seafood selection here than nearer the coast!!

Excellent food and service. Very friendly staff. Food was delicious: Gnocchi, Calamari, Pizzas, Lasagna and Tiramisu. Food was very reasonably priced - we went for the two and three courses; £16.95 for two courses & £20:95 for three courses. Such an impressive Italian Restaurant never fails on quality of food and superb service. A lovely friendly relaxed atmosphere all at good prices just wish could we could go every week.

My friend and I enjoyed a perfect meal, we chose the duck and I cannot wait to have this again as it was cooked to perfection and the presentation was fab. Can’t wait to return.

Called in on the way home around 2.00pm on a Sunday. Quite a few people in there. Attentive waitresses. Nice menu. Hubby had seafood pasta, I had the roast lamb. Both meals were good sized portions. My roast wasn’t quite as hot as it could have been - but when waitress checked I didn’t say anything as I was enjoying it. Gravy needed a bit of meat stock in it. Hubby said pasta was great - guess I’m the fussy one 😊
