La Campagna Restaurant & Bar in Stroud

Absolutely brilliant experience. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming. The food itself was great, especially the asparagus as a starter. The sirloin steak was so delicious too, but the cherry on the cake was the dessert. Their tiramisu is marvellous 😀 You can taste fresh food. I would tottaly recommend La Camoagna to anyone and will surely return. Thank you to all the staff there as well, especially Amy the waitress. My God, she was so amazing and warm. Her customer service is the best.

Popped in for lunch. Friendly staff and great food. The restaurant was packed so knew this was a positive. Not too expensive , really enjoyed our meal would definitely recommend if you are visiting this area.

You’ll find great food, a friendly atmosphere, and wonderful service at La Campagna. After a week of eating pub food while walking the Cotswold Way, we decided to try something different. We’re glad we did. Wine, food, atmosphere, and fun, it’s all here.

Our first time visiting and we will be back for sure. The menu was diverse, the staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was amazing and considering it was cooked fresh, was served in a timely fashion. We loved the atmosphere and thought considering the quality, that it was very reasonably priced. We had a lovely evening and will certainly be back again

Wow this was a short walk from the Stone House Court hotel. The food was amazing and the service spectacular. You must visit. All fresh food and home made dough for the pizza. We are coming back tomorrow night. Great prices as well.

This place is really worth a visit, but make a reservation in advance, because it is very popular. We had dinner here on a rainy night, and it was really nice and cozy. The food was so good! We had bruchetta to share, fettucini aila cacciatore and spaghetti al pomodoro and garlic bread and it all tasted amazing. This is a chain restaurant, and that often means average food, but that is not the case here. The staff was really friendly and attentive, and we had a nice chat with our waiter. We would absolutely recommend others to go here. Only complaint was the noise because the place was fully booked.

Not easy to review, which says it all really. Above average for this type of restaurant in the area, but lacking that edge to stand out further. Service very good and sort of cosy/busy atmosphere. Menu has all the usual suspects in the pasta/pizza area but lacks imagination in the starters and mains. The choices we had were all fairly good without being great. The pork saltimbocca was a good attempt at the original veal dish but the sauce was a tad bland. The dauphinoise potatoes (French?) were nice and worked. Missing athenticity but ok ... in mezzo alla strada.

Excellent little restaurant in Stonehouse! We visited after discovering our hotel was not great, and didn’t want to stay there for dinner!!! What a great little find this was (well recommended by the locals)!!! We enjoyed pasta, steak and good wine. Very impressed by the quality and excellent service! Worth every penny and brightened our trip!

Super food and friendly atmosphere. The menu gives lots of choices and the food when served does not fail to impress. Centrally placed in Stonehouse with a free car park very handy nearby. It was nice to see the place filling up early in the evening. Service swift and friendly.

We took advantage of the lunch set menu, which still gave us plenty of options and I felt it was a very reasonable price! We went towards the end of the lunch service so it was pretty quiet, we enjoyed very fast service and delightful food. Very happy with our meals- the portion size was great and it was very good quality. We had a couple of drinks too, all very tasty and a fair price.
