Had a lovely evening of bottomless sangria and tapas here with my friends on Saturday. Vicky was such a wonderful bartender

Nice place for a drink. Hired out for an event and was good, nice atmosphere. The bar staff were good and looked after us. Sometimes a bit of a wait. Food looked good. Only a couple of single toilets downstairs in this area.

We used to love this place so much, a real feel of a back street tapas bar of any city in Spain. But visiting last night we where very disappointed to see that they've increased the food prices dramatically. The food and drinks are now the same price as the restaurant above, somebody seems to of forgot this is a back street bar experience and in my opinion food and drink should be at least 20% cheaper than the restaurant ( which it used to be) The food is good but the portions small, they have started to be stingy, for example simple Pan con tomate comes as one slice and they charge £6.00, at that price they could at a minimum afford to be a little more generous. The artisan cheese platter, nicely presented but very small portions £16.75. To expensive for what you get and the environment you get served in. Then to cap it all they have the audacity to stick on a 12 % service charge. Like I said at the beginning of the review, we loved this place but in all honesty we won't be going back.

Went early evening, there was no one else in, and sat at a table. After several minutes of being ignored by the various members of staff, we concluded we had to order at the bar. Fine. We were looking forward to a glass of chilled dry sherry but disappointed to find that, on the hottest day of the year so far, they hadn’t bothered to chill any. We ordered four glasses but were surprised to be told they only had two sherry glasses so would we have brandy glasses instead? Then when we paid the bill they tried to charge us for olives we had ordered but that never arrived. Just rubbish. I’m giving it two stars instead of one because the anchovies were good.

Arranged for a corporate event. Everything from the organisation and planning with Coleen to the food and atmosphere was 5 stars. Feedback from everyone was amazing. We'll definitely be back!! Thank you La Bodega!

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent! It was a great venue for a work night out because we had the entire place to ourselves and it wasn't a sit-down meal, so we could stand/sit around and mingle.

Went here with my wife on a quiet Tuesday night, in fact so quiet we were the only ones there. Nevertheless we had an utterly amazing time. The bar is situated immediately behind Iberica and is connected, not that you would know. All the food comes from the same kitchen, they give you an idea how good the food is. We sat at the bar, chatted to the really friendly barman, Miguel from Malaga, ate a range of utterly delicious tapas and drank a range of Spanish drinks - wine, beer, cider and a herbal spirit ! The food was sublime, I can honestly say it was as good as any tapas bar I’ve been to in Spain, and I’ve been to a lot ! All of Miguel’s colleagues were equally as friendly and made us feel very welcome. This will now be our go to place when we go and visit our daughter in Leeds.

I really like this place! A good mix of delicious tapa and an excellent variety of drinks. They even have less common drinks like vermouth and Agua de Valencia (a massive jug for £23 is a steal). Very authentic and well priced.

Despite being there for a funeral, I can recommend this place. Staff were excellent and it’s obvious they have lots of bands, quizzes etc across the week. Good quality food for our buffet and the regular menu looked good. Some real ale plus all the usual lagers etc.

Good value, interesting menu choices, attractive presentation of dishes. Scotch egg had runny egg yolk, with crisp coating and moist forcemeat surrounding. The soy glazed king oyster mushroom was another winner. Excellent choice of main courses. Great friendly team delivered good service. Good value for money. Will visit again.
