The food was delivered to my home, it was 20 mins early which was great but the presentation and quality of the food was completely abysmal, the prawn chow mein I ordered had no vegetables at all, just greasy noodles and tasteless prawns. As you can see in the photo the chips were dark brown, completely over cooked but soggy from the amount of grease on them, I paid £18 for something only fit for the bin. Absolutely disgusting food I would never order from here again

What a surprise to find authentic Japanese food in Lisburn. Tried Flaming Beef Teppanyaki to sample menu. Was truly lovely. Can’t wait to try more of their extensive menu. An excellent takeaway choice. 💕

I've had loads of takeaways especially during the past two years but this is the first time I tried Kyoto Taste (Ormeau Road Branch). It was a total surprise and for me raises takeaways to a whole different level. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. I collected it 15 minutes after ordering, from a tastefully refurbished premises. I had the nigiri platter, a prawn bento box and the seafood soba stir-fried noodles, and there was enough for three people. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other things on their extensive menu.

The outside looks quite unassuming and when we ordered a takeaway I was a little bit concerned by how cheap the sushi was compared to other places. However, I needn't have worried - the sushi was outstanding, especially for the price. A hidden gem in Lisburn

I recently had a delivery from this jewel of a restaurant. The quality of the food is at a totally different level to most other Asian restaurants that I have eaten at in the UK. 1. The fried rice was excellent. 2. The plain spare ribs were excellent. 3. The miso soup was excellent. 4. The sashimi was excellent. 5. The chips were excellent. I had issues with the following two items. 1. The summer rolls tasted wonderful, in fact they tasted even better than any I have eaten in Saigon or elsewhere in Asia. They were however wrapped a little loosely and a bit difficult to pick up. 2. The gyoza ingredients were excellent, but the pastry was much thicker than I have normally found in Japanese restaurants. The Tempura prawns were a problem. We ordered prawns, but the delivery included tempura vegetables. The vegetables did not travel well as they carried a lot of moisture and consequently the result was a soggy mess. May I suggest that tempura prawns be kept in a seperate container. The tempura vegetables are another issue, I dont know what to suggest. May I also suggest that you pack tge rice and chips seperately, as it is a bit frustrating trying to seperate them for each person dining.

Two recent visits. This is one of my two 5 star takeaways. On both occasions I had different beef dishes and I cannot ever recall ever getting meat that was so tender. Prices are very reasonable. It can be busy due to its popularity - both times I ordered by phone and my collection time was an hour

Ordered number of times from this Kyoto taste takeaway since opened . Staff are very friendly & I have to say it’s one of the best Asain takeaway in lisburn as no one could cook what on their menu possibly only the real chef 👨‍🍳 could challenge it , hard to beat I love this takeaway so much and would like to recommend this takeaway as all dishes are delicious , sushi 🍱 dish’s also amazingly tasty that’s the real sushi 🍣 no just rice rolls 😅like supermarket standard sushi.

We didn't really know what to expect as it is a fairly new takeaway in Lisburn but thought we'd try it and we weren't disappointed. We had a mixture of Asian fusion, Japanese and sushi and all of it was amazing and really reasonably priced. We will definitely be back
