The oldest and best Indians in the whole of ashington and a very nice man who owns it. You won't be disappointed me and my family have ordered from here for 20+ years. Love it

Really disappointed - chicken tikka massala was spicey! I've had this dish from many other restaurants and take-outs and it has always been a mild dish, but I couldn't enjoy the flavour of this one because of how hot they made it. Could still tell the quality of the food was really good. The vegetable pilau looked and tasted delicious, thankfully i didn't cover all of it in the massala sauce. Mouth is on fire from a 'mild' dish, won't be returning. If you can handle spice, this is the place for you :)

Really good food, best we've had around can tell there is a good spice in the curry. could be a little hotter but that's just my taste as I like hot food.

Tonight starters king prawn bahji consisted of 3 prawns as small as a £1 coin and the mixed kebab was inedible apart from the strange coloured chicken tikka, the lamb kofta was like rubber and the veg pakora greasy and contained 2 peas, extremely disappointed the quantity and quality of food, I have been using this takeaway for almost 30

I've used the Kushum Bag for almost 30 years on and off. Originally it was the best place to go for miles but recently, and I mean tonight, April 3rd 2021, the standards have fallen lower than low. I ordered Chicken Phall and in all honesty, I've had hotter coffee ! This wasn't even a Vindaloo let alone a Phall. Sorry Mr Miah, you need to change your chef asap.

Really want to like this place as it's only down the road. Though the first time was a mistake but both times my 'Mild' curry was very spicy and my daughter won't eat spicy food. Not happy.

Ive just been and collected chicken tikka massala and a mixed pilaw rice. Absolutely nothing like the way it should be. Far far to spicy for a massala. Especially when its normally quite sweet. Ive used this shop for nearly 30 years but absolutely NEVER EVER AGAIN. Gone way down hill in my estimation. Such a shame

It's ok. Nothing special. It may be the oldest Indian takeaway in Ashington but it's not the best. The currys seem a little watered down & the meat overcooked & tough. Go to The Taj. Much nicer.

Absolutely disgusting, phoned to order everything fine no problem phone to complain and suddenly can't understand me. Everything was over spiced even the chicken masala was to hot to eat. The popadoms were horrendous they stunk of dirty oil obviously never change the oil!!! The whole lot went in the bin. Never ever again will I go near that place

Not good at all My first order was beef roast . Very thick stodgy Yorkshire look warm , minimum beef compared to anyone else Hardly any carrots or turnip . Definitely not worth £14.50delivered . Comparing it with Toby absolute rubbish value and quality .

Delicious! Pizza was cooked so well and the garlic dip was lovely. Will definitely order from here again.
