Pad Kra Pao was delicious, not at all dry and with a slight kick of chilli.

This restaurant serves some of the best thai food in London. We had Khao Soi, green curry, and papaya salad, which were all very delicious. The staff are very nice and helpful.

The service and atmosphere was nice. I was a bit disappointed on the spicy rice noodles with shrimp . The sauces were not very delicious. I didn’t like the steamed dumplings as much.

A total ripoff place. I ordered a large portion of tom kha soup. £16 gives you a big bowl of broth with 5 prawns and a few slices of mushrooms, nothing else. They add a 12.5% service charge when nobody even comes to ask whether your food is okay. The rest of our food was very average, definitely not worth visiting. We liked the decor. If the same was applied to the rest of our experience we'd be happy customers

Food was distinctly average and lacked flavour and anything that would make it stand out. Service was poor, punctuated by our waiter wearing adidas tracksuits. Go if you’re in a bind, but otherwise swerve it

He estado en Krua muchas veces a lo largo de los años, pero debido a la jubilación esta fue mi primera visita en aproximadamente 12 meses. Ha bajado considerablemente. El menú de la hora del almuerzo es extremadamente limitado. Pedí el cerdo caramelizado que no tenía sabor y era muy masticable. El arroz estaba demasiado cocido y tomó un gran esfuerzo para romperse. No volverá, lo cual es una verdadera lástima, ya que solía ser muy bueno.

Great location and friendly service with authentic taste.

I ordered the recommended green curry and chicken breast. The Thai milk was too sweet and the air conditioner was really not turned on. Let’s just say that the curry is very common and average, and there is no need to eat it specially. The rice is quite delicious.

The people are nice, the ambience okay…But the food not worth. Ordered a basic Pad Se eaw with fried pork belly. The noodles lacked flavor and taste. Only salt taste. The food was warm and pork belly were good and hence the 2stars.

Entramos y nos recibió muy bien la camarera allí. Teníamos una selección de mesas para elegir. El menú se veía bien. . el personal lamentablemente sentí que no tenían la experiencia suficiente. . por ejemplo, tuvieron problemas con los pedidos de bebidas (éramos solo 2 de nosotros) , y fueron un poco lentos. La comida variaba de muy bien a muy buena, así que un poco inconsistente. El personal es amable, la comida sin duda tiene potencial. No me esforzaría por regresar, sin embargo si estuviera en la zona y me apeteciera tailandés volvería o si alguien arregló para ir allí no tendría ningún problema en regresar. Bonito lugar solo necesita un poco de mejora.

I don't remember ever having had such a bad meal in London before. Cold room: I had to ask to turn on the radiators. Poor food and minimal service. No tablecloth or placemat under the plates, which I can't stand, totally unhygienic. Bad dishes. Inedible. Coconut milk non-existent or diluted with water. Customers considered as ATMs from which to withdraw money and nothing else. Don't set foot there!

We had our team dinner here. Krua were really helpful in accommodating additional guests and all requirements. Most importantly great food too!

If you are wandering around St. Paul and unsure what to have, Krua (Thai restaurant) could be one of the safe option!! We had green curry and were surprised at how soft and tasty the chicken was, and the rice was also full of flavour! However, was a bit disappointed with the pad thai, just a bit below average, and I didn’t feel like a lot was in the Pad Thai, but the pork belly was really nicely cooked!!

The food was enjoyable. I found the Beef Massaman curry the meat was a bit tough but the flavour in the curry was lovely. The Crying Tiger was also very chewy so was disappointing. The waitering staffs were friendly but overall I wasn’t impressed with the food and won’t be returning.

The highlight of the meal was the Pad Kra Pao—perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of heat, and bursting with fresh basil and chili flavuors. The whole seabass in fish sauce was another standout, with crispy skin and tender, flaky meat, complemented by the sauce’s delightful balance of sweet and salty. To finish, the sticky rice with mango was heavenly, with the rice cooked to perfection and the mango ripe and juicy. The care and passion the family puts into their cooking really shines through in every dish. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Thai cuisine!

I stumbled upon this restaurant during my travels and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the food. After a long hard working day, we were starving, and the dishes truly exceeded our expectations! We definitely let our eyes be bigger than our stomachs and ordered more than we could handle, but the flavors were so delightful that we couldn’t resist finishing everything—just take a look at the photos! The pad Thai was outstanding, and the salmon with sweet fish sauce was a highlight as well. We also had the chance to try the northern Thai sausage, which I had heard about but was unable to find elsewhere. It was a real treat! The staff were fantastic and incredibly accommodating, especially considering they were handling a large, demanding group from a university during our visit. Despite the busy atmosphere, our food arrived on time, and the service was attentive throughout. A standout was Nutchaya, who took excellent care of us and ensured we had everything we needed promptly. My only regret is not being able to try out the karaoke rooms located downstairs. The group booking really made the most of it, and it sounded like they were having an absolute blast. That’s definitely a reason for me to return! 10/10 recommend this spot for individual and group dining!

I knew this was going wrong when the staff struggled to find a table in an empty restaurant. The first request for a starter for three was met with ‘ I need to speak to my manager’. Downhill from there. A request for one of the menu salads with salmon was met with ‘ it’s not on the menu so we can’t do it’. The thai salad ordered consisted of over cooked salmon , iceberg lettuce and not much else. Sent it back. ‘ my manager said we will not charge you for that’ Really? Ordered another dish. No cutlery and ate it with the remaining spoon. And was charged a service charge. Guests present so didn’t argue. Avoid

Probably the first time my friend and I have ever asked for food to be sent back. We came here because of the supposed high reviews- there is simply no way all the reviews are real. The rice came in a plastic bag- think microwaved Uncle Ben rice. The mixed platter starter was okay, but similar to what you'd receive in a cheap local takeaway. The quality of the Crying Tiger (beef steak) was dire- very dry and chewy despite asking for medium-rare. My friend's Crispy salmon dish fish was not fresh and even worse, smelt awful.

Warm service and efficient. Reasonable price. Authentic Thai food taste with details. Love ton yum soup, pork belly and Pad Thai.

Not many East Asian eating here already should have given me a good indication. The food was just okay, nothing special and far from authentic. We came because of the location.

The Noodle were not good: broken and sticky. The 1st one was too sweet but sour. The prawn was okay but small. The fried rice was too spicy.

It was an office lunch, so it was nice to have a quick bite. The food was served quite quick. I asked for extra spicy as I love spicy food. So the chef made according to my liking 👍

Was lured to the restaurant by its relatively high rating as we were in the area. However, food quality was not high. We were completely underwhelmed. Possibly one of the most disappointing Thai restaurants in the capital. Of all the dishes, Green curry was the worst. It was just a few slices of thin beef swimming in thin broth. The other dishes were hardly exciting either. There’s definitely no presentation to speak of.

I liked it, I ordered the curry with meat and a beer, it was very delicious.

We went as part of a large group. The food was lovely however the service was very slow. There did not seem to be any real reason for the slow pace, it was not particularly busy. I will try again on another day as the ambience and food was worth it.

Terrible service. The website allowed me book for 2.15 pm. On the day, I got a phone call two hours before my booking saying the kitchen closes at 2pm and I have to come before 2pm. I had invited someone for her 30th birthday celebration and they only mentioned two hours before the booking.

First visit and we enjoyed the mains. Beware, however, the desserts are not so good and 2 are pictued on the wall with their prices around £5 but when the bill arrived were nearly twice this. Apparently these are old pics and prices! Er, perhaps take them down then...?

Food was very good and arrived quite fast. However, I had made a reservation for 6.30pm. At 7.10pm we ask to order dessert and the waiter come to us saying we have to leave the table by 7.30 cause they need it for another reservation. Really?! Since when you book a table in advance and you only get it for 60 minutes? Not the finest service. It's a shame cause the food was nice. But 1 star for the service.

Normally, each trip, we eat at least one Thai meal. I have eaten in many countries. Thai food from abroad can be said to be edible and not at all like our home. But this restaurant is ok. Tastes like Thailand. Delicious. I recommend the Crying Tiger. It's awesome!! Good seats, good restrooms, the size of the shop is worth trying and accepting tours. But I've been on a tour and I don't know what to eat. It's worth bringing here.
