Kosta's Greek Deli in Sheffield

Ordered online, went in to collect it and they had forgotten about our order because the were serving all the football lot, we did ask for one gyros with no salad on and it came with everything on but it was too busy to go back in and say something

Came earlier than expected but not an issue, absolutely lovely. First time orderers and wont be the last.

Used to love coming here, was a regular. Not been in a while but just visited and was a bit disappointed. Used to be able to get a chicken meal which came with lots of chicken and chips, big pita bread, tzatziki, large salad with a chunk of feta cheese for £8.5. Portion of chicken and chips is still big but only got 3 slices of tomato and a handful of onion as the only salad and now it’s £12.5. I’m not so bothered the price has gone up as I understand it’s cost of living crisis but I was disappointed with the amount of salad, chips were also barely cooked. Hopefully this was just a one off!

Always delicious, fresh and good value. I wish I could have an option for small chips with cheese.

A quiet tucked away food Palace. Small indoor seating area or outside. We went when it wasn't a match day so sat in due to the chilly. Tasty giros.

Always high standards of service received. Excellent food and stuffed vine leaves are delicious

2nd time order. Went for the Loukaniko meal which was nice. Also opted for a pot of dolmades but very disappointed with those. They came covered in what is probably best described as a congealed, wax coating and gave off a fermented smell 8~{ I lived in Cyprus for many years and know what dolmades should look and smell like and it wasn't anything like what I received today. I quickly binned them. Will give Kosta's a 3rd order at some point but maybe not for a while; will check out a few other Greek places first.

The delivery time was nearly 2 hours & took 40 mins from time it said it had set off. The pastries were black & inedible, the chips were cold & soggy & the wrap was ok.

Great grub as always highly recommended! The guys work super hard and run a great takeaway! Always tasty always fresh!

Rate good wraps. Chips a bit soggy cos of the polystyrene, be better in a paper bag. But still dead nice.

Really poor service and food today but I've been in the past and it was lovely.

The food was poor and as though it had been left to sit. The delivery driver said it had been delivered 10 mins before it was and the restaurant put the phone down on me multiple times when I was trying to find out where my order was

This place used to be awsome. This time same price but food so poor and greasy made me vomit straight after. No skewered chicken but paid the same for donnar chic that was fatty and greasy. Salad consisted of tomartoe and cucumber. Flavour was undesirable. Loads of tasteless chips (I don't even like chips). No feta on salad. No oregano. However, the bread was ok. The staff were rude. There used to be a lovely lady who was so nice but not now.

Great food and service. Only issue was the delivery driver used our next neighbours drive to park up whilst he delivered to our house.

We never received our order. Paid £30 - tried to call numerous times but the phone line is constantly busy.

Been a regular customer of Kostas for a few years now. Food has always come on time (most of the time early) and is always hot when it arrives. The menu choice isn’t massive, but the food is always fresh and good quality. Mixed wraps are my go-to and always a winner.

I always pick Kosta's. Best halloumi wrap in Sheffield and the chips are so good! Couldn't recommend enough

Mostly a take away spot, with a small seating bar inside for maybe 4 people. There are 3 picnic benches outside. The food is reasonably priced and the staff are friendly but the food quality wasn't quite what I was expected. Chips were double fried, and the beef and lamb kofta was not great, tasted very processed but the halloumi wrap was good. Big portions if you go for the meal deal.

I have ordered from here a few times in the past and usually it’s lovely….but…..this time it’s awful everything is dry, the pork it dry, the tzatziki is completely tasteless and the chips are terrible. Never again for us I’m afraid

Order here weekly and really love the food. Annoying that the last 4/5 times my drink is never sent with my order. I have mentioned it twice now and not heard anything back. Also stopped adding feta to the meals is a real shame, it made a simple salad so tasty. The prices have increased and I don’t mind that but please keep the quality the same and send drinks with orders.

Came here for the first time as too tired to cook, and was recommended the pork gyros. So delicious and fresh, with a generous portion of salad. Definitely coming back to work my way through the menu.

Local Delivery or lovely " made in your presence " Koftas " . Not only that : if U check out their Hygiene assessments U will see they have top marks for their establishment being - " Spotless " ! 😊.

we spent almost £50 on food, really enjoyed this previously, to be fair the meat was nice, and the breads.. but chips didn't have the herbs on them like normal.. no cheese on the skepasti chips (as description) no tzatziki on the falafel meal and the salad was just abit of ripe tomato and onion.. was no where near as nice and the prices have gone up

Last time I ordered the gyros box from here I could not fault it, best Greek takeaway in the city. This time around there was no salad with the food and was a little bit cold. If it was consistently like the first time I ordered, it would be an easy 10/10

Specifically went out serching for Greek food. And boy did we find it! Definitly the best place we could have found, the staff were friendly and accomodating, the portions were massive and a great value for money, and the place had a really nice atmosphere. We will definitely be going back. Currently eating leftovers in bed :)

They have changed the meal deal and made it more expensive; it used to come with a full (large) Greek salad, now just a few slices of tomato. This is rather disappointing, nobody likes to pay more to get less.

Favourite Greek food takeaway and we have tired a lot. Pizzas are amazing and gyros always wrapped so you can eat it without getting too messy. Prices have increased but to be expected with today’s inflation. Thank you as always for your lovely food xx

My food experience with Kostas was brilliant until very recently the menu has change for the worse 😕. For example.. a Gyros meal cost £8.80 and consisted of plenty of meat, Full Greek salad, bread, chips and Tzatziki sauce. Now you pay £10 a meal for meat, chips, bread and sauce. No Greek salad, just tiny pieces of tomato and red onion. I phoned to query the salad and that comes as separate cost. So for a family of 4 Kostas will be too expensive to order from. It’s a shame because I can’t fault the food quality.

I Would highly recommend Kostas Greek deli.Food was tasty. Although it was late the weather was snowing really bad so I wasnt expecting them to turn up at all from seeing cars stranded everywhere. They went out of the way to get our food to us.

Everything was absolutely freezing like cardboard but if you pick food up its realy nice don't have it delivered

Meat was dry and burned we throw away after few bite. Salad and bread was amazing feels clean as well but meat was awful.

Food was very cold on arrival which made the cheese hard and chips with cheese inedible, the delivery driver was a young girl… by young I mean about 7?? Found it quiet a bizarre experience food was delivered 50 minutes before advised.

Such a shame but there’s no way I will be ordering from here again! The food (if it arrives) is beautiful. But the customer service is extremely poor - the delivery driver had such a bad attitude and left without giving me what I ordered or attempt to bring it to me. I gave clear directions because me flat is hard to find.. but this was too much for the driver to do..

Kostas is the best Greek we’ve tried. Food is delicious & good value for money. Never late & enjoyed by the whole family
