Food is nice and you get a good amount for your money, but the staff haven't been great in my experience. Lots of errors and unfortunately there was one lady that got extremely rude towards us when we advised her of a correction that needed to be made and when we asked her to please clean the mess that she had slipped down the side of the bowl.

Anything but fresh at 5.45pm on a Tuesday. Noodles like shoelaces were put in the microwave to reheat; chicken teriyaki was tough as old boots and look as appetising as catfood with sauce that was tasteless goopy and throat-burning sweet. No direction of queuing. Staff busy focusing on the deliveroo orders. While actual customers queue. Heard so many good things, but after this first try, I'm not going again.

I am a big fan Kokoro and i am buying often from them, but most of the times from the one that is situated in Intu CMK Centre I have bought few times from the Kingston Milton Keynes, and today i went there and i was very dissapointed, the food was old, dry even my kids said that the noodles were too dry. The sweet chilly chicken usually when we buying it come with lots of sauce that even the noodles start the get soaked up with the sauce, this time was everything so dry, it didnt look fresh cooked to me and the reason i am highlight this things its to aware the owner of the restaurant to make a change regarding this .. i also told them in the shop this matter I will still be a fan of it, but i will buy from now on only from the other restaurant, definitely not from this, or not until will do something on regard !

If you want to queue up for barely warm food and have limited choice about what you can order then this is the place for you. They'll allow you to stand there for huge lengths of time whilst they prioritise deliveroo orders and then fob you off saying numerous things aren't available. When you get your food you may get lucky and have a good meal, but it'll be warm for a few minutes before tough and chewy. But... remember, Deliveroo comes first, screw the queue of 20 people waiting, don't tell them what's available etc...wait for them to get to the front, then tell them it's all going in the green bikers bag. Shambles of a place which I've loved over the years, but now it's simply not worth it. Prices have risen, wait times too.

A place to definitely try food out of for sure. The korean food served at this establishment is extraordinarily nice. My order was promptly made upon ordering.

Rasist staff, horrible service. We walked in and queued up in front of the till, the black male staff just ignored us and served the white guy standing in front of the food area queuing after us. Okay food but staff need more training I guess.

The worst customer service ever. You do not need to queue in this store, the stuff just take people order randomly. Really bad:).

I wanted some chicken curry with rice, and the person assisting me was Hosa. While he was serving me, I observed that his nails were quite long and unclean, which disgusted me. Consequently, I had to cancel my order, and I've decided not to return.

Great food with lashings of incompetence. Went in to order, stood for 5 mins whilst 4 people were working. One of them was serving one customer in front of me. Eventually they served me. Then told me it was 15 mins for rice. In a rice and noodle bar. How can you get to a point where you run out of rice for 20 mins?? It's just incompetence. Shame as the food is really good. Getting a kebab instead. I'm not waiting.....

The food is okay, although the Korean spicy pork was incredibly salty. The service leaves a bit to be desired. Staff seem to find it very hard to crack a smile and seem to be more interested in having a conversation between themselves than serving customers. One guy we had to repeat our order to three times as he was so disengaged from what he should be doing.

First timer and you know what, it was fab! The staff were really friendly and helped me choose a few different bits to try, I had some rice and katsu curry, and the other half noodles and chilli chicken. Both were really tasty and I couldn't fault it. For a takeaway in a tub, yeah, it was grand. Give it a whirl :) Also, the lovely lady said Korean chilli chicken will be available soon and I can't wait to try it, noms

Not the best food I’ve had, way too much sugar and salt, not healthy at all BUT the worst thing about this place is they don’t accept cash and for this reason I’m out and never going back. I DO NOT SUPPORT BUSINESSES WHO DO NOT ACCEPT CASH AS PAYMENT. NO CASH NO BUSINESS

After one of my colleagues going there everyday for lunch i had to try it. The food was excellent - I had the sweet & spicy chicken/katsina chicken mix with noodles. I highly recommend it. The large is also a giant portion which kept me overly full for hours

Ordered from Deliveroo and food was horribly tasting, soggy, crumbling, stone-cold and the chicken sauce was tasteless. The whole things tasted like they had to get rid of it because it was most certainly reheated.

Love Kokoro, ate only in the Centre MK Shopping. First time had the meal in Kingston. Food is always tasty and on point but this time my husband and son feel sick since this visit. They have stomach problems for a few days now, personally I am fine. We all ate the same sweet and sour chicken with rice- I think my husband portion was affected as we both shared food with the kid. I think that if we will go back then only to the Centre MK.

Love this food always filling ,tasty and well priced the medium box is always packed with noodles and toppings of your choice .Can never finish it always enough left for another meal

I’ve been a big fan of Kokoro for quite a while so when I heard there was going to be a new one around the corner I was excited. Kokoro is known (at least to people in my friendship circle) for its Katsu chicken and the fact that you get a good amount of meat. It’s not the cheapest but honestly it’s much better than Wagamama and you get way more chicken. Saying that I recommend that you try all of their other dishes, and try it with noodles instead of rice. Seen a lot of reviews about the food being salty which I can’t comment on, I love salty food so I’ve never noticed that before.

LOVE kokoro!!!!! I have never been to the one at Kingston before but I have been to the one at cmk. Last week I went to Kokoro for my lunch and had the fish sushi! It tasted amazing and it was filling!

Large portion, teriyaki chicken was very tasty. BUT! It was so salty that by the end of the meal I ended up drinking probably half a litre of water

Cannot knock Kokoro, always a solid 10/10 meal. The Katsu curry was spot on, not too salty at all like previous reviewers have said. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t!

We were looking for a quick bite and tried this place as it looked nice and clean. The employees were very helpful and let us tried the options before we decided and then gave us the option to mix. The portions are very generous and the "regular" will suffice for most people, the quality is decent for the price. Will go back.

Forever popping in for the sushi. Great price and tastes great!! Always a queue and busy, staff are friendly and quick.

+ Points : 1) Large Portions. 2) Friendly Staff. 3) The Spicy Chicken Curry actually had some decent heat and some somewhat rehydrated whole chillies in it. - Points : 1) The Spicy Chicken Curry was wayyyyyyy too salty, I could feel my kidneys waving a white flag after just a few mouthfuls. 2) Quality seems a tad low for the price asked. 3) As my dish was far too salty, the majority of it went in the bin, including the noodles underneath. 4) The Sushi was merely "OK" according to my Partner. Would I go back? Probably not, the Sushi from Costco just round the corner is better but it's the amount of salt from my initial experience that is putting me off returning. Shame as the Crew on the day I went were absolutely superb.

Went there yesterday with my boys for a quick bite and was very pleased with the potion and quality of food. Was slightly disappointed with the fact that one of the boys didn't get his first choice but they were very honest about it and quickly made him an alternative with a complimentary drink so we were well impressed! Good service and a nice restaurant choice in Kingston shopping centre. Didn't get the nice young man's name but he was behind till and we visited between 5 and 6. Thank you and well done!

Ordered Teriyaki chicken noodles - May as well have been a bowl of teriyaki sauce, it was so drowned with it. Will never buy from here again. About as Japanese as swiss cheese! I couldn't finish more than 5 mouthfuls. Simply disgusting.

Ordered the mix meal, the guy put 90% rice , less curry , when I asked he said that’s how it works. MK city center one is good.

Don't go when they are close to closing. Noodles were as cold as if they'd been in the fridge.

So glad Kokoro has come to Kingston shopping centre! The queue just to find out they weren’t making any more sushi was nonsense, but other than that it’s the same great Kokoro as the one in the centre. Lots of seating options outside, and the prices have stayed the same
