The food in this place was out of this world, and great value. Can’t wait to come back again.

It’s a must-have Vietnamese dish in Birmingham. I’ve tried so many Asian restaurants in the UK, but Vietnamese dishes in Koko is more delicious compared to others. Highly recommend when you visit Birmingham.

Delicious and affordable sushi. They had a half priced salmon deal - the salmon belly sashimi was melt-in-the-mouth and so fatty! Also got the pork pho, lychee iced tea and masago and the tiger prawn roll. Definitely would come back!

Nice staff, fresh sushi, and atmosphere was beautiful.

A repeat customer. I normally order the sweet and sour chicken dish. My last order, I was horrified to discover the chicken was rotten. Unfortunately the rotten chicken was mixed in with ok chicken. So I didn’t notice until I’d eaten a fair bit. I’m now anxiously awaiting food poisoning symptoms.

Amazing sushi, tucked away in China town. Lovely girl served me, even showed me a photo of what the dish would look like!

We had a rainbow roll and tuna Soho maki. Both were absolutely excellent - the tuna sushi maki was so simple, and yet everything was so good, fresh and well balanced that it managed to be fantastic. The service was great, our waitress was patient and explained things about the menu which meant we ended up with exactly what we were after. Would eat here every day if I could! Will be back!

I went with my friend as we both are sushi lovers and always in the look for hiding gems🥰 and we were not disappointed! We loved the small cosy place, attention was 110%! Very delicious, I ordered a Chicken teriyaki Bento and Salman Nigiri. The Bento came with many dishes, and all of them were very delicious, although some cobination to me is not authentic Japanese style. Salmon sushi were also very tasty. The only shortcoming to me was the price was a little high regarding the portion of food.

Lovely staff, beautiful atmosphere such a great vibe being around Japanese culture absolutely loved the experience as it was my first and most definitely not the last. Food was amazing too loved the halal options.

Great restaurant, all the food was amazing and the service was very good too. The place feels really cosy and you can watch the sushi chefs work, it honestly feels like you are in Japan when you enter the restaurant. If you’re in Birmingham and fancy some sushi, there’s no better place!

The 5.0 rating drew us to this restaurant, and sad to say that although the service was welcoming and sweet, the food didn't live up to its perfect score. Sushi was okay - not top-quality, but decent enough. The rice in the nigiri and sushi rolls was still a little warm, which is a big no-no. We also ordered the chicken teriyaki bento. What we got was basically a fried, breaded chicken cutlet with a drizzle of sweet, brown-coloured sauce over the top. It didn't resemble a chicken teriyaki at all 😓. All in all, food was disappointing, which is a shame, as the staff were lovely and the venue was pleasant for a casual meal.

Great place, staff is really nice. Food quality is amazing, very fresh and tasty fish. Prices are average for that area. Definitely worth visiting!

One of the best Japanese restaurant I’ve been to in the UK, coming from an Asian. The food was really nice, the staff were super friendly and polite, and the atmosphere was on point. Highly recommend the prawns.

Warm service and nice dining environment - recommend the mango roll which is juicy and refreshing. The salmon tempura was given by the chef and it’s crispy and delicious. The staff was friendly and gave us recommendations patiently!

Delicious food, comfy environment, high CP and excellent service. You should have a try if you are in Birmingham and wanna to have Sushi or Sashimi.

Service and food was brilliant. Both sushi and bento boxes were very tasty and fresh. Additionally the cocktails and mock tails were nice. Staff were very helpful and great at recommending the most popular and best dishes. And overall the experience was perfect for a date night. Would highly recommend!

The Sashimi set is a fresh and reasonable price Special Unagi Roll is a must-try, with crunchy prawn tempura inside and well-marinated eel on top. Salmon Seaweed Roll is yummy, too, with the sweetness of mango Drink must-go for iced peach tea The staff is friendly

It was my sister birthday and we decided to spend our dinner at a Japanese restaurant. The sushi was delicious, and well-price. The salmon sashimi was so fresh and came with thick slices. They also offered cooked sets for my sister since she is not comfortable with raw fish. I love my Koko Special Lychee too. The staffs were friendly and they even sang happy birthday to my sister.

Wow beautiful place inside and out, service from the minute you walked through the door until you left is that alone I would return , felt so at home and great staff made us feel so welcomed. There service was spot on , food amazing , 100% will be returning
